Snowdin's a cold, sometimes unforgiving place. For creatures who
were weak to its below freezing winds and its frozen water it
almost seemed like a form of torture. However, it somehow became
a place of beauty and grace in the eyes of the hooded figure. As
they walked slowly down the thick pathway of snow, the fluffy
white frozen water vapor crunched beneath their boots. The
gentle breeze flowed under the cape of their cloak, making the
black fabric flutter until the wind died away.
They were a long ways from the main focus of Snowdin town but
even still their pace remained slow, seemingly practiced even. A
pair of lips pressed together tight as the being dived into
their memories. Living was such a blessing...that it seemed like
a waste to think of the past. Too much attention on the past
would make one miss the present and then soon the incoming
future.
Progress was slowly being made as the figure trudged on through
the cold snow. Soon enough Snowdin town was coming into view.
Once the being stepped into the town they took in the changes.
It had been...so very long.
What seemed to be a little shop drew in the beings attention.
Without a second thought or even a moment of hesitation they
began walking towards it. Expresso Yourself was what it read. It
was an interesting play on words but it somehow didn't quite
grab the figures attention like the other monsters did. That
however was a given. After only a few minutes of observation a
few things became clear.
1. This place was popular
2. There were poem performances taking place here
3. Their products must've been good if this many monsters were
showing up.
The hooded figure entered the establishment and made their way
into the line and remained silent until they had finally made it
up to the counter. [glow=purple,2,300]"A
table for one please...I would... also like to sign up for the
poem performance."[/glow] would come a quiet and raspy
voice. It was hard to differentiate what gender it belonged to.
The beings hooded black cloak was long, the cape trailing behind
them on the ground while the hood itself kept their eyes and
most of their face hidden for their
convenience. The only thing visible were lips, a chin and a
slender neck.

The Captain didn’t look the least bit bothered by Niskel’s
initial reaction to her – or reacted to it at all for that
matter. Instead she listened to his reply and looked on over to
the savory scone he was pointing to in the display cabinet,
“Great! That looks awesome, I’ll have that.” she replied
enthusiastically; sharp teeth gleaming behind that signature
grin as she took her number and leisurely ‘marched’ to her
chosen table. When she turned around, she noticed the ghost
child and she couldn’t help but smile at them, “Here for the
Poetry Slam huh? I love these nights, if you’re gonna
participate, I can’t wait to hear yours!” Undyne proclaimed
before continuing to venture towards her table.
Along the way she quickly took note of whom was entering,
leaving and how many were present. Even though she was off duty,
she still made the habit of being aware of her surroundings and
where and how many exits there were in case of an emergency.
Even the table she had chosen was on the far side of the area
where the performances were going to be – a table with four
chairs – and she sat down on the one with her back against the
wall. This way she could have a clear view of what was going on
around her as well as who would be performing.
From what she could see all seemed to be normal and a healthy
amount of patrons for such an event, however, there were some
individuals either with somewhat of a reputation or earned a
quiet wariness from the fish monster. The most obvious one to
her was small gaggle of faces – some of whom she had recognised
to have been discharged from the Royal Guard some years ago. She
didn’t make an effort to say hello to them, but if any of them
cared to look her way the look in her yellowed gaze was clear
that she was watching; her expression was also somewhat neutral
– neither particularly friendly or not. Next was when the second
cloaked monster walked in and headed for the counter, she
couldn’t see nor hear whom it was but something about them
caused for Undyne to raise a brow. Something about them seemed
rather familiar somehow…

After a good long day, Boreas had dressed in a casual
long-sleeve shirt, some pants, and a long-coat, before going
around town. He spent most of it looking at everything that was
happening around him. He had just finished his daily rounds, and
had turned in his daily report and was now off duty.
He looked around, and seeing that Espresso Yourself was open, he
walked towards the entrance. He noted that it was particularly
busy this time around, and so when he entered the premise, he
coldly shrugged off a few glares and stares he received from
people.
He walked up to the counter when it was his time to do so, and
nodded to the cashier. "Good evening. I'd like a berry smoothie.
And maybe a cherry scone while I'm at it." He looked out and
noticing the Captain there, nodded once in her direction, before
turning back to the counter.

Luis smiled wide, seeing the good and honest people bright and
happy— in some ways at least spiritually free— it brought the
winged man great joy. "As I said, it fits you because its
yours." A light chuckle followed. "Still on that is she? She's
doing well, I hope? Regardless, chase your dreams." Luis gave a
mild shrug, following Niskel's train of thought. Dreaming a big
yet honest dream such as that was more than admirable, it was
inspiring even. "I think you've got the soul for it. When you've
got a satisfactory single recorded or something, mind letting me
listen? I'd be honored~"
As for information on Yanezi being present or not, Luis gave an
appreciative nod. "Awesome, thank you." Luis made a noncommittal
wiggly hand gesture at the idea of a irregular order. "For me,
maybe." He added with a sly smirk as he wandered off towards the
seating area. Mere moments later, one of the brightest most
energetic flames burst into the establishment. 'Not too
different for her though. Hmhmhm~' He thought with a slight
blush creeping up on his cheeks.
Interestingly enough, Fia was accompanied by another whom
greatly contrasted the chemical flame with a more silent and
soft entrance. 'Well would ya look at that...'
Noting that Yanezi seemed busy with some reading— by the looks
of things she was doing research related to tertiary education
avenues. Good on her! Luis opted to not vocally disturb her,
instead, he winked, projecting a flow of shining white grains of
light that formed into a tinier silhouette of himself, standing
approximately one inch tall over onto Yanezi's table. With a
soft and almost holy ding, the tiny glowing caricature waved
enthusiastically upwards to the feline and pointed over to it's
conjuror before gracefully dissipating with a small bow.
With some time to himself, Luis took into account others that
chose to make their way to the café as he had his attention
mostly held towards the entrance. 'Now who else might there be
missing...' Shortly, his question was answered, and he groaned
internally, but otherwise sighed outwardly after turning his
attention back to his table. 'They better not cause any
trouble.'. Luis began to whistle an upbeat little tune to
himself up until Fia skipped on over. Gladly, he responded in a
similar fashion, firstly with a bit of tongue and cheek. "Ooooh,
my~!" Luis comically double-took, quickly conjuring a little
exclamation point above his head for extra pizazz. "Look who it
is. I might have to ask the same, madam~" A matching snort-laugh
to her giggle escaped the winged man as he calmed himself.
"Yanezi recommended that I at least attend to watch the show.
I'm uncertain of joining. Sure enough, I can keep a rhythm, but
as you know my talents are firmly rooted in the realm of
[glow=white,2,300]pianocraft~![/glow]" Luis emphasized with a
harmless flash of flourish with some enthusiastic jazz-hands.
""As for anything new? Hmm. I think it would be best if I were
to show you sometime." Seeing River slowly glide over, Luis
waved for her to take a seat. "Hello there, River. The more the
merrier it seems, are you curious about this event as I am?" He
asked, returning a smile.

It was a minor relief that the Captain didn’t take umbrage with
Niskel’s brief but inadvertent gawking at the missing limb she
now bore as a battle scar to some event that the chipmunk could
only half fathom to imagine. He’d heard the news of course —
both from Mettaton’s point of view and the Crown’s — but it
seemed there was a great deal more than the public wasn’t privy
to. Still, that would perhaps be a consideration for another
time as her upbeat attitude assured him that whatever had
happened, it was over now and peace lay quietly upon the
Underground once more, regardless of the source of that scar.
“Delighted you approve! I’m sure you’ll love it!” he hummed with
genuine cheer as they concluded their business transaction
smoothly and the aquarian warrior was sent on her merry way to
mingle and acquire her seat, the food and drink shortly
following her to that watchful perch.
Given the reaction it was clear that the second pronunciation
was the more proper one, so the horned humanoid made mental note
of it even as the ghostly youth got a broader grin. “Got it!
Feel free to go get comfy and I’ll give ya a shout when it’s
your turn,” Cerenos assured the child with a quick thumbs up
just before they darted off with the pitter-patter of those bare
feet.
Niskel nodded acknowledgement to the Tem. “No problem at all!”
he assured Bob, continuing through the exchange just as
proficiently as before. It was certainly clear from his smooth,
efficient motions that despite his shorter fingers the
rodent-monster was quite dextrous and had been working here long
enough to know all the little nuances of the trade to make the
ordering process nice and easy. “Enjoy!” he bade the four-legged
furry as he headed off with his order number and the best of
luck from the mohawked chipmunk.
Though Cerenos was always willing to assist those who needed it
in writing out their information, it was his habit to at least
offer them the option to do so themselves at first, out of
respect for their personal dignity. The faun smiled at the
understanding of the Temmie denizen, and once the name was
written he took the pen back and wiped the small bit of saliva
off with a clean washing cloth, not making any fuss about it as
it was perfectly matter of course for a quadruped without
telekinetic abilities. “Hey, my pleasure, man. G’luck to ya,
can’t wait to hear what you’ve got to share with us tonight!” he
hummed in his laid back but still genuinely enthused way before
Bob departed to find and table and thereafter enjoy the order
that was soon brought to him out of the always efficient
kitchen.
“S’pose it does!” Niskel agreed with a little chuckle, though as
the topic drifted to his sister his expression turned slightly
more somber, though that was soon overlaid with a mask of more
enforced cheer, seeing that he was on duty. “Oh, you know how
siblings are… well, no, I guess you might not, but I know she
just wants the best for me, even if her ideas and mine differ
greatly.” He shrugged noncommittally as he worked the register
easily with his slightly stubby fingers. “She’s doing all right,
just got her own stuff in life to figure out, same as anyone
else.” There was obviously more to it than that, but time and
place was certainly foremost on the monster’s mind as he kept
things professional.
The request regarding a satisfactory single surprised him
obviously, eyes widening and mouth dropping open for a brief
moment with a tiny squeak that was almost undignified. “Oh wow,
thank you; means a lot coming from you.” After all, someone who
liked Dark Requiem had to have some pretty good taste in music
he reckoned. “I’d be delighted to.” The shock of the asking was
certainly enough to clear whatever brief shadow had passed over
his features to be hidden, but perhaps that had been the winged
one’s intent all along.
“Anytime, Luis,” Niskel chirred with a smile. The playful
gesture and coy reply earned a soft chuckle from the rodent
cashier, walnut brown eyes dancing with curiosity and mirth
alike though he knew better than to meddle in the affairs of
customers. Folks might be extended family here, but that didn’t
mean it was his business. “Well, new and different are good
things, so you won’t find me naysaying a little palate
adventure,” he chortled even as the light-wielding monster moved
to find a roost among the thriving throng.
For as boisterous as the flame elemental was, her companion was
equally reserved and shy. But this didn’t surprise the cashier
in the slightest given that the River Person was well known in
the Underground for the ferry service provided to the citizens
along the riverways. It was nice to see her off her boat,
however, and he nodded congenitally to her polite declination of
beverage or victual. “Of course; be here if you change your
mind,” he assured her with a little wave as she was almost towed
along in Fia’s vibrant wake toward the winged monster and his
feline coworker, neither of which were particularly a surprise
to Niskel, though his attention was quickly diverted back to the
front door after briefly poking his head back into the kitchen
as still more patrons came into the already bustling cafe.
Though the stream of customers was quite steady and made the day
go by quite quickly, there were always some who managed to stand
out more than the rest. The quintet of reptilians were certainly
noticeable in that regard, if nothing else by the size of their
party for most others came in singles or doubles, even if some
did encounter friends among the guests already present. It was
difficult to tell who was acting as ringleader for the little
group, though some matched the descriptions he’d heard from
Yanezi in regaling her coworkers with tales of her shifts.
Everyone who worked with people had them, but that particular
tale did make him the slightest bit more alert toward the group;
something he noticed the Captain being too when he glanced about
the room to make note of the on and off duty guards and sentries
present in the restaurant who would no doubt arise to the
occasion if someone were foolish enough to incite trouble.
“Evening,” he returned with a welcoming smile, though at the
request for a table he had to wonder just what kind of an
establishment these five thought they’d come into. Still, it
wouldn’t do to be rude to a customer, so his expression turned
mildly apologetic instead. “Ah, your first time at Espresso
Yourself?” he wondered aloud. No doubt if it wasn’t they were
going to feel very foolish. “Glad you dropped by! We actually do
open seating, so after you order I’ll give you a little card
with a number on it that the kitchen staff will use to find you
when your meal’s ready. There’s little stands on the table for
them, see?” He gestured toward a nearby empty one that had the
little metal stand with a slot at the top to slip the numbered
placard into so the servers could find the right table to
deliver to. “So once we’re done here you can find any open seat
you’d like on either side.”
The request for recommendations wasn’t entirely unusual, for
they did have a decent selection to pick from, whether in the
mood for breakfast, lunch, a light but satisfying supper,
snacks, or all manner of teas, coffees, and other beverages.
“Well, I’d say that depends on your preference. If you like
coffee, our cappuccinos and macchiatos are always popular and
you can optionally add flavoring such as mocha, hazelnut, or
caramel. We also have a wide selection of hot and iced teas,
including herbal and fruit teas. If you’re looking for supper,
I’ve gotta say the beef stew on special tonight with a hunk of
crusty bread is superbly satisfying, but if you’d like something
a bit lighter we’ve got a number of sweet and savory pastries,”
he finished with a gesture toward the glass display case next to
him on the counter.
After their back and forth had concluded and the orders for the
gaggle of monsters were placed complete with appropriate
currency exchanged, the chipmunk gave them their order number
placard as promised so they could put on on whatever table they
opted to sit at and await their items comfortably, bidding them
good sup with a small wave and smile.
It wasn’t entirely unusual for monsters to come in bundled up
against the cold that continually pervaded the wintry wonderland
that was Snowdin, but it was unusual for someone to come in and
not divest themselves of obscuring garments when engaging in a
transaction. The River Person was something of an exception to
this, but her outfit was distinctive and recognizable, whereas
this stranger gave off a vibe that made the fur on the back of
Niskel’s neck stand up. Perhaps it was the fact that this person
seemed to be taking such pains to conceal themselves, or the
rasping way in which they spoke, but whatever the case, the
cashier took comfort in knowing that if this customer was
trouble that there were several very capable individuals here to
handle it, as there often were during special events.
Still, he couldn’t help but find it odd that another monster was
coming out to the cafe and asking for a table, when Espresso
Yourself had always been a self-seating affair. In all its
decades of business, he hadn’t ever heard of a time when guests
had been shown to a seat, even at the busiest points. Is there
something strange in the air tonight? he couldn’t help but
wonder internally even as he started a ticket for the mysterious
guest. “It must be your first time! Welcome! We actually do open
seating here, so once we’ve got your order taken care of here
I’ll give you a number to put on whatever open table you choose
for yourself. For the poetry event, you can sign up with my
colleague over there,” he explained with a gesture toward the
faun at a table with the sign near the stage on the left of the
building, keeping things professional while their transaction
proceeded. “So, what can I get for you tonight? Something hot to
drink and eat? The beef stew on special tonight is excellent,”
he suggested.
Several more customers had come and gone by the time Boreas
entered the establishment, bringing with him a soft gust of
frosty air before the door could fully close behind him. Though
chilly, the draft would mercifully be soon cleared by the
fireplaces and multitude of bodies occupying the space. Most
patrons were too busy with their own affairs to spare the
frosted guard a second thought, much less a glare or stare, and
of the few that did raise their eyes to inspect the casually
dressed monster, there was for the most part only a brief
curiosity before returning to whatever they were doing before.
After all, monsters came in all shapes and sizes, and for the
most part members of the Royal Guard were respected, provided
they performed their duties well and according to the rigid
discipline expected. Perhaps if the ice drake were not up to
standard he might expect the scrutiny of the head of the Royal
Guard, but that would be her call to make, rather than his to
assume.
It always amused Niskel how Boreas almost always got some kind
of fruit based smoothie when he came in. Cold drinks were
assuredly served here, but most other patrons indulged in
something hot when the weather was as window-frosting as it was
tonight. Given the frigid nature of the creature, however, it
wasn’t surprising. “It’d be my pleasure; did you want the triple
berry smoothie, or a different one?” he asked for clarification,
since there were the single berries like blueberry or
strawberry, but also mixed ones like the triple berry or
strawberry banana. “Shall I warm that scone up for you?” he
offered, suspecting the answer would be no, but knowing better
than to assume when it came to customer orders.
Whomever said the customer is always right never worked in
customer service, that’s for sure.
Once clarifications had been made and the transaction finalized,
the off-duty guard was sent on his way with his order number for
the table of his choice, the mohawked sciuridae then taking a
moment after during a very brief lull to snag himself a quickly
downed glass of water that his elongated front teeth clinked on
slightly before he was back into the fray of free flowing
frequenters once more.
It seemed that people really did like coming here to espresso
themselves.

Re: [SERP] Particularly Potent Poetry Performances (Open Scene)
By: Fia Date: May 29, 2018, 6:03 am
---------------------------------------------------------
As boisterous and exuberant the crackling elemental was,
whenever River Person would pipe up with her quiet assertions,
Fia would always show genuine consideration and interest in
whatever she had to say; which often resulted in her quietening
down so that demure voice could be heard clearly, “Still! I
appreciate you going out of your way to come here!” she then
made an elated gasp, “Well if you write in your free time I bet
you have some really thought-provoking things to say! But only
if you’re comfortable doing so – if not tonight, there will
always be a next time. I’d like for you to enjoy yourself as
much as possible.”
A few sparklers were set off from Fia’s hair when she heard the
decourous monster’s endearing statement, “I know I don’t have to
but I want to~” she giggled as she paid enough for two modest
orders and then added to the employee, “Thanks! You’re the best
Niskel!”
However, seeing as River Person opted to not order anything her
potion went towards the tip for the establishment. The flaming
monster didn’t mind at all and she wasn’t about to force her new
friend to have anything if she didn’t want to.
On her way to the table where the
newly-discovered-winged-monster was, the elemental took note of
who else might be here. A few faces she recognised as regulars,
some were new – albeit she honestly had to restrain herself from
being a complete social butterfly with complete strangers for
now; since she was in the company of friends – and a few unusual
individuals, such as the reptilian squad and hooded figure, whom
had caught her eye momentarily or earned a double-take from her
before returning her attention towards the destined table.
Now that she had propped her elbows onto the table and rested
her cheeks in her hands; that vibrant smile and pair of neon
green eyes drank in the sight before her. She even leaned
slightly closer over the table without realising; it was as
though she was drawn towards the light as she listened to him
speak. Her giggle seemed to have grown with delight and perhaps
even with a touch of femininity at his comical display; she had
even went to compliment the shining exclamation point with a
small array of ‘quiet’ fireworks around it with a few snaps of
her fingers, “Oh, well you know, I drop by here often because I
like the company.” she replied before the giggle and snort-laugh
had blended together into a jubilant song.
“Oh she did now, did she? Well I am a hundred percent with her
on that one! I don’t drop by every week, but during the times I
have been here it’s been fun! I still remember that one time
someone went up and performed a rapping poem; it was…” the
flaming monster glanced up towards the ceiling briefly and
twirled her right wrist which had set off a couple of whistling
Micro-Girandola Fireworks during the process of her finding the
right words, “… interesting?”
Her smile continued to maintain genuine joy and its brightness
just as she continued to converse with the other, “And what a
marvellous talent that is!” she asserted brightly and as he gave
her the following answer she went quiet for a moment as she
listened. The concoction of liquefied chemicals boasting shades
of oranges, pinks and some yellows swirled underneath that
translucent skin as flames danced about various surfaces of her
body; even her Kind soul buried somewhere beneath those waves
could potentially just be barely seen pulsing with an
enthusiastic tune. Soon enough, that bright smile of hers curled
into somewhat of a different one, “I think that would be just
blazing!”
When she noticed River Person approaching, she enthusiastically
patted the empty seat beside her – to which a few more sparkling
flames crackled every time she made contact with it; also
inviting her to join them.

Habit brought Yanezi’s gaze up when the bell over the front door
tinkled its richly sonorous sound to announce the arrival or
departure of patrons from the establishment. It wasn’t more than
a momentary distraction for her since she was off duty, but a
certain curiosity did seem inherent to the cat cashier anyway.
The movements of her head would shift the aquamarine curls over
her shoulders, and occasionally her free right hand would tangle
clawed digits through them in a thoughtless fidget while her
mind was occupied with her task. She was certainly the picture
of a studious college attendee as her left hand continued its
note jotting as she worked through that course and curriculum
reading.
The feline’s attention was drawn rather welcomely out of those
efforts when Luis sent that spectral projection her way, the
adept manipulation of light earning a bright, toothy grin from
Yanezi as she followed its motions and returned the wave to the
caster directly before beckoning him eagerly to join her. Her
foot nudged out the chair opposite her own in additional
invitation for him to sit while she began tucking away the books
and papers she had out to make room for her invited guest. “Glad
you could make it!” she purred with a delighted swish of her
tail through the back of the chair behind her. “Hope it didn’t
pull you away from anything important though?” she inquired with
a gesture toward the logo on his breast indicatively. “Who
knows, though, maybe some of these poems could end up in the
annals of history,” she posed whilst shoving her things into her
bag and setting it on the floor beside her, collecting her
cappuccino from where it was to be closer to herself, despite
the fact it was now the same temperature as the room.
The entrance of those five from the other day earned a slightly
quirked eyebrow from the feline, who was mildly surprised to see
them here, particularly given that some of them had an apparent
dislike of the cold. Of course, she was off duty and everyone
was welcome so long as they didn’t cause trouble, so the agile
monster hoped that they wouldn’t cause a fuss, particularly
since Niskel had more than enough on his plate to worry about
without additional customer chaos.
Then there was the strangely persistent hooded figure who
wandered in shortly thereafter. It wasn’t something she’d worry
about too greatly in the now, but it was made note of, just in
case.
Of course it wasn’t long before the firecracker made her way
over like a radiant beacon of fiery plumage to join them, which
was of no surprise to Yanezi at this point. In fact she quite
liked it. “Of course I did,” the blue-grey furred barista purred
playfully as she gestured to a seat between her and the one
she’d nudged out for Luis a bit ago in an invitation to seat
herself, leaving the last seat closest to the windows and wall
for the River Person to take before the table was full. “And
nothing wrong with your pianocraft, Lou, the guests quite like
it and so does Haldor, so I’d say it’s a win on its own.” The
mention of the guests liking it had her eyes sliding toward Fia
briefly, perhaps in indication or absent thought about just
which guests liked it the most, but the conversation drifted
pleasantly thanks to the fire elemental.
“Oh, yes, the rapping poem,” she recalled with gay laughter
hurring up from her throat. “In fairness there have been some in
that style that were quite good,” she defended merrily, her jade
eyes twinkling. “But that one was memorable at least, nya-hah!”
Given the well known shyness of the River Person, Yanezi opted
to vacate her seat across from Luis to let the stellar monster
take her previously warmed one next to Phoenix instead, coming
to occupy the one with back to the window after shuffling her
book bag and mug over one spot. It at least gave her a slightly
more ready vantage of the door, even if she never cared to have
her back to a window or entrance. Still, she was in a good place
with good company, so she trusted them to watch her back for her
in this instance. “Good to see you again, River.” The feline
doubted this was the woman’s actual name, but since it seemed
the currently in use moniker, she’d stick with it out of
politeness until told otherwise or presented the opportunity to
gain a proper name.
“It’s good that you can get out of the elements and off that
boat for a change. Any new or interesting news traveling the
riverways lately?” she inquired, though it wouldn’t be long
after the trio settled in that a server brought both the
Vulkinian coffees, the apple-peach scones for Luis, the
raspberry ones for Fia, and perhaps surprisingly a blueberry
muffin topped with decorative sugar that almost made it look
like a starry night that was set in front of the ferrywoman
along with a glass of ice water before the server was off with a
polite farewell to handle the constant flow of orders coming out
of the kitchen on this busy night.

Roy grinned turning to the others.
Heathcliff sighed, while Zephyrus came up to the others, asking
what they wanted. Once he had everyone's orders he came up to
the counter. "Okay, so we'd like two cappuccinos, no flavoring,
one iced chai tea latte, two green teas, and five cherry
scones." He looked to Heathcliff, Lance, and Oswin. "You wanna
find us a seat? It is open seating."
Heathcliff shrugged. "Got nothing better to do anyways." He
walked off the other way while Zephyrus and Roy stood and
waited.
Lance looked around, and soon swore a little under his breath,
catching Oswin's attention.
"What?"
Lance shook his head a little and whispered. "The Captain of the
Guard's here."
Oswin sighed, making sure not to be heard. "Sheesh, don't worry
about it, so long as we don't get into any trouble we'll be
fine. She's probably here to make sure no one gets into any
trouble."
Lance nodded.

Boreas tilted his head before looking back. "I'll take the
strawberry." He then shook his head. "No, I'd like my scone at
room temperature, thank you for the offer though."
He paid at the counter, grabbed his order number and sat down at
a table closer towards a corner. He preferred solitude on nights
like these.

Haruno tilted her head up slightly but slowly let her head fall
back into place and prompted for closing her eyes and feeling
her surroundings instead. [glow=purple,2,300][font=trebuchet
ms]"Oh...please excuse me. I am new. I don't get out much but
thank you...for informing...."[/glow] the hooded woman
paused for a beat seeming to not move a single muscle before
continuing where she left off,
[glow=purple,2,300]"me."[/glow] With
no actual need to eat she wondered how her want for the
otherwise energizing creations would affect her decision. She
had followed the fellow monster's gesture to a table with a
metal stand and visualized it in her mind. She couldn't see
through her hood after all. With a turn of her head she was
facing Niskel once again.[glow=purple,2,300]
"How about a caramel macchiato with almond milk...and that beef
stew does sound promising. I thank you for your patience with
me,"[/glow] she said with a bow of her upper body along
with her head. [glow=purple,2,300]'I'll be
sure to sign up when I know which table I'll
choose.'[/glow]
As her second sense came through she took note of all the
monster's emotions. The excitement from one side of the room, a
wonderful feeling of joy mixed in with it, and the wariness from
all over. Since she was faced away from most of the other
patrons she couldn't see all the colors but some seeped into her
vision. Strikes of orange mixing with little paint splats of
gold while a strange silver swirled through it all like
spiraling metal. It all looked lovely but before she realized
she had allowed too many to enter her heightened senses and
then- [glow=purple,2,300][font=trebuchet
ms]"a...achoo!"[/glow] A kitten sneeze almost as light as
a feather. [glow=purple,2,300]"E-excuse
me."[/glow]
