Boomerang was relieved when Meka responded that she was going
home, even if it was for such a short time. He nodded when she
address him. "Yes, of course. Where are we heading?"

"It's through Snowdin and you take a right turn after the
Librarby... we then can either walk through the forest a bit and
cross the bridge that my dad is... working on, or we c-can ask
the river person for a lift across" she responded. She was quite
pleased that she would have some company: usually she had Kapral
but her younger sister was currently at home ill. Hopefully the
promise of being told about stars would help her feel better
quicker, along with a bit of healing magic.

"Perfect, I was heading that way anyway," Boomerang smiled. At
least he wasn't going out of his way, not that he would've
minded. His snack would have to wait sadly, but he'd always
heard delayed gratification was better... So maybe his food
would taste better after a good deed. "Lead the way." He
gestured towards Snowdin.

She muttered the words, but let the flowers echo her words,

Boomerang watched Meka's friend leave. He wasn't all too sure
she'd be okay. He almost wanted to follow her, but Meka needed
to get home, and he promised to get her there.

"Alright then, we'll just go then" Meka said. She gestured for
Boomerang to follow her and slowly started building up speed,
starting from a slow trot to a bounding sprint, her dress and
ears billowing as she moved. The sooner she went home the sooner
she could follow Jo back and find Link.

Boomerang was prepared for a nice, normal walk... Then he saw
Meka take off. He inwardly groaned and took off after her. He
wasn't particularly up for a run. "H-hey!" he called out. "Do we
need to go so fast? Are you really that late?" He had already
forgotten about her meeting Jo and her other friend. Had he
remembered, his thoughts wouldn't be on the many food places
they had passed on the way to Meka's residence.

"At least... I'm not going.. at full speed" she said between
breaths. As they continued to run they soon came to Snowdin and
Meka skidded to a halt, spraying snow as she did so.
"This way" she said as she gestured to the river behind the
Librarby. Meka saw the look on Boomerang's face and grinned
sheepishly.
"I'll get you something to eat when we get to my place" she
encouraged. He looked hungry, and she was happy to give hims
some food while she was packing resources and telling her
parents she was alright.

Just as Boomerang was about to complain once more, he heard the
inviting mention of food. He instantly cheered up, a grin
spreading across is muzzle.
He skidded beside Meka, and looked around. The Librarby He
leaned over to look towards the river. "So we're almost there?"
He was bouncing a bit by now, enticed by the promised food.
"Let's go!" he started towards the river, before stopping once
more. "Wait... you're parents are going to be there...? Are they
going to be okay with me being with you...?" The thought of him
being male and her female just hit him. While no one else in the
underground had batted an eye so far, parents were always a
different story.

Meka nodded at his first reply and snorted slightly at his
second.
"I'm sure my parents will be understanding of you being there.
You could always wait in my roo- never mind, they would probably
be suspicious if we did that. I guess you could just hang out in
the kitchen or hall with your food while I get a few things" she
said as she began to walk over to the river. Just as she had
hoped the river person was there waiting for them.
