"Its Coffee" Lesser Dog said happily, sipping from her own cup,
"Its always hot when you get it, give it a minute and it will
cool down so you can drink."
Lesser Dog always felt a little awkward talking to people she
did not know. Still, Amarillo seemed nice enough, and really she
was just glad to have some company. She felt like it had been
forever since she had a proper conversation.
"I Rarely leave Snowdin. My job being what it is, Its important
for me to stay here most of the time. What's it like at Temmie
village? " Lesser Dog Looked over at the Temmie. Eager for a
response

Amarillo nodded, setting the cup aside so it could cool off a
bit. "I've had uh, coffee before... but it's always served, er,
cold in the Village... ...The Temmie Village is pretty... calm,
er, most of the time. I usually like to stay indoors... unless I
decide to go to my, uh, stargazing spot."
She looked down at the table. She'd never been one to talk much,
but she racked her brain, trying to think of something to say.
"Er... um, what's it like in... uh, Snowdin? I mean, I've been
here before, but... uh, not long enough to actually... see
anything..."

"OH its great!" Lesser Dog said, her tail started to wag. "I
mean, Aside from the town there is also the snow, the ice, the
trees, they are Covered in snow of course..." Lesser Dog paused
for a moment. "I think that's everything! Did I mention the
snow? Oh, but that does not mean its dull, You can turn snow
into art! And ice into water! And you can climb trees." Lesser
Dog seemed to calm down a little as she stopped talking quite as
enthusiastically, her tail also slowing. "Well... Its also very
cold, and I spend most of my time outside at night in the cold."
Lesser Dog Sipped her coffee before continuing, now with renewed
enthusiasm. "Enough of that though, Here in Snowdin, we have a
liabrabry! Or something like that, its where books are kept! Oh,
and then there is Grillbys! and then there is this lovely coffee
shop called Expre- Expra-. Wait, we are sitting in it aren't
we." Lesser Dog's ears droop slightly. "Sorry, I tend to ramble
when given the chance until I forget what we were actually
talking about... I am not annoying you am I?"
Lesser Dog was well aware of her tendency to never stop talking
once she got started, it was a bad habit, and one she had no
luck in breaking. Left to her own devices, she could easily keep
talking until evening in one uninterrupted sentence of
free-flowing thought. Honestly, she was impressed with herself
for stopping this time before it got out of hand.

The Temmie shook her head, smiling. She had always liked when
others talked more than usual, that gave her time to think of a
reasonable response while also listening to the interesting
stories. "I, er, don't think you're being... annoying at all!
I'd love to... um, visit the... librabry... although, in the Tem
Village... it's called a library," she paused. "...er, that's
what you meant to say, right?"
Amarillo tried her coffee again, and was satisfied to see that
it had cooled off. With a sudden thirst, she drained almost half
the cup before setting it down. She thought about what Lesser
Dog had just said, and thought she might check out Grillby's
someday... In fact, she might even stay in Snowdin for a while
to see everything. She didn't know of any local hotels, but she
knew that she had enough money to stay somewhere.
Looking back up at Lesser Dog, she quickly asked, "I'm, er,
thinking about staying in Snowdin for awhile... do you, um, know
anywhere I could... um, stay?"

"Li-Berry" Lesser Dog said outloud, she seemed momentarily
baffled. Then looked up. "Yea! that might be it!"
Lesser Dog looked slightly suprised at Amarillo's question.
"Place to stay? Have you tried Snowed Inn? As in Snowed... Inn.
Its an Inn here in Snowdin." Lesser Dog explained. "There are
other places of course, but snowed inn is the best I know of! I
can show you where it is if you want!" Lesser Dog glanced down
at her coffee. It was virtually empty already. "Besides, you
wanted to see the liberry and other places! I could show you
around, I know where things are, I had to learn it all so I know
where to go when things happen or go wrong. I know this town
better than anyone! I think so anyway. The other dogs might know
the town to, but thats because they trained alongside me so you
would expe~ I am rambling again aren't I." Lesser Dog drunk the
last of her coffee. It was true, she knew the streets of Snowdin
pretty well. It was part of her training to know where things
were, and how all the little streets interconnected, it was in
places a bit of a maze. Its also true that she was suprisingly
eager to show her new friend around.
It was probably the coffee talking.

Amarillo brightened at the idea. She quickly finished her coffee
and got up, already ready to see the town. She hoped that they
could start the tour today and finish it the next day after she
got settled at Snowed Inn.
She was especially interested in the Library. The one in the
Temmie Village was so small, and she could swear that her
personal library was a whole lot bigger. She got up from the
table and, after throwing her cup away, started towards the
door. "Shall we, um... go now?"
The Temmie was excited to begin her journey through the small
town. Glancing back at Lesser Dog, she smiled and opened the
door.

Re: Come On In, The Coffee's Hot! (Open Scene)
By: Luxin Date: January 31, 2018, 9:00 am
---------------------------------------------------------
"Oh, only if you so desire." Finding Fia's enthusiasm rather
endearing, Luis also decided to play along further just as she
did. It was fun, but also something more than fun. An odd
thought that Luis couldn't quite decipher. "I know for a fact
that it certainly doesn't hurt to listen~" He said with a light
shrug and inviting, if not cheeky smile as he allowed Fia to
speak, giving her his undivided attention. Being a man of
patience, Luis was no stranger to listening to what others had
to say. In Fia's case, especially. If the subject matter was not
only as wholesome as it gets, but also happened to be something
she was undeniably passionate about, he would simply encourage
it. "Kreehee~ Sounds delightful. A trio of bubbly little
troublemakers are they?"
Seeing such a jubilant reaction from Fia was remarkable to Luis.
The chemical reaction that rippled through some spots on her
skin, the flicker of mana that danced through her flames and the
shimmering of her brilliant smile.
All of it made a difference.
Luis wondered if he was making a similar impact. "A wonderful
impression, actually." Luis insisted. It was the first word he
thought of that would be considered 'more' than good, but even
this fell short in his mind somehow. He had little time or
desire to dwell on it however. Instead, he simply enjoyed
himself, laughing and giggling with Fia. There was a warmth
coming from Fia, and in more than a literal sense. "Well..."
Luis sat across from Fia uncertain as to how he was drawn to
her, and yet he welcomed it all the same. "Then I hope we can
continue to make a difference to others, in a way just like
this." Luis certainly intended to via his new employment in
Fia's business, that's for damn sure.
[hr]
Of course, Luis waited for the group to attend to their
business-- they could come talk to him at their leisure. They
didn't make him wait for long either way. Luis stood up and
assisted Fia in re-arranging the seating plan by bringing over
the chairs the other table had assigned to it. Motioning for the
three new arrivals to take a seat as they desired, Luis returned
to his own across from Fia. A few minutes later, some rather
momentous news had been announced! Surely Cole's reaction out of
the lot of them would be something to behold.
Luis figured it was best to allow family and the closer friends
thereof to have a look first, in fact he was ok with not seeing
anything, but with Fia being Fia, it was practically inevitable
for the photo to be shared with Luis, regardless of him being a
more recently made friend. "Kreehee~ Well would you look at
that. I think the triplets are going to have some strong
competition soooooon~!" Luis added amongst all of the
congratulatory sentiments.
Following that, the young soda-shark introduced herself. "Not a
problem, young lady, the more the merrier." Luis' brows
seemingly raised in curiosity after hearing her name. "Oh? the
very same Cherry that earned a Junior Heroics award a few months
back? It is an honor. As you might have overheard, my name is
Luis, some call me Lou." He said, offering a hand for Cherry to
shake.

Re: Come On In, The Coffee's Hot! (Open Scene)
By: Cole Date: February 1, 2018, 7:13 am
---------------------------------------------------------
Cole rolled his shoulders, putting Fia's query into
consideration. "I found some stuuuupid old area on the boundary
of Woodland, it was a lake in a cave; that thing was full up
with petrified trees. Pretty stunning, I think."
As for the museum donations and exploring gig in general, Cole
could have sworn he told his family as they asked him."Y'know, I
would have thought Lori might'a mentioned it at least. Then
again... She doesn't really talk during a family dinner, huh?"
Cole would of course often reason that both he and Gloria didn't
talk much during family dinners. Perhaps that is why they often
sat next to each other, they had great table manners.
"Hm?" Cole looked over to Gust after the lively speedster voiced
some curiosity. In Cole's mind there was no cause for worry. "I
dunno, girl stuff? Engineering, baking, sword fighting,
videogames, what food the person they're dating likes to eat,
engineering again. Y'know, girl stuff. I'm no mind reader, your
guess is as good as mine, bro." Cole shrugged before looking
over to Cherry. "Oh yeah? Well, I can think of two." Did Cole
wink? It wasn't at all clear considering he always has his eyes
concealed. Cherry and perhaps Fia would know what cues to look
for though.
Now as if on cue, Cole's eyes flickered into view upon hearing
Fia bring about some wonderful news. "Hang on, come agai--"
Before he could even ask for clarification, Cole's friends
decided to show their excitement. Cherry hoisted him up and soon
after that, Gust ran circles around Cole. "Hey, hey, hang on.
Stick with Inferno." Cole smirked as he tried to playfully elbow
Gust's side. "What...? It grew on me."
Hilariously, Cole would end up as the last of the group to see
the photo that Fia had been sent. "M-may I?" Cole motioned for
the phone so that he could get a better look than a cursory
glance. Fia would of course know how much this meant to him. The
state of Flame Elementals meant a lot to Cole. Family meant a
lot to him.
Cole would handle the phone as gently as he would cradle a baby,
it didn't take a genius to notice he was close to crying. "By
the ignition of prometheus..." He whispered, and an interesting
phenomenon occurred thereafter. For barely half a second, Cole
radiated heat.

Re: Come On In, The Coffee's Hot! (Open Scene)
By: Fia Date: February 1, 2018, 9:48 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
For a few short moments Fia could feel her soul pulse with a
pleasant tingly sensation whilst she spoke to Luis. It was
something which had caught her by surprise that it nearly made
her stumble over a couple of her words. She also found that she
simply could not keep her eyes off of him and that cheeky smile
of his was all the more alluring. She had an inkling that she
knew what this feeling could be, but it was something she was
willing to let it take it’s own course at it’s own pace; and
simply see what happens rather than jumping to conclusions here
and now.
There was no rush after all, when one had all the time in the
world and the other cherishing every living moment of each
passing day.
“Oh you have no idea, especially when the three of them have the
potential of becoming talented Seers some day. Sometimes they
fib about predictions just to see reactions but it’s all in good
fun.” she giggled softly before pausing thoughtfully, “Well, at
least Crematio does anyway. He gets fleeting visions of a
supposed future every so often and most of them have been
correct. Infernica has a remarkable memory and has been able to
remember every little thing since she moment she was born.
Naturally she also has an affinity with learning history –
probably why she likes Cole so much. Fue is a little bit harder
to explain… erm…”
As Fia pulled her thoughts together she made minor rolling
gestures with her free hand beside her, “I think the easiest way
to put it is she tends to feel ‘lucky’ and seems to always know
when something major or important is happening somewhere in the
Underground even before word about it gets spread around. So I
guess she’s similar to what Crematio sees except there’s more
focus on the present rather than expecting something to happen
in the future.” she continued before pausing briefly again, “The
three of them have managed to have two major ‘Epiphanies’ shall
we call it, in recent months. In unison they have predicted
dangers of crumbling mines and earthquakes – we kinda just took
their word for it at the times and were able to avoided major
losses as a result of it. I remember that they complained about
migraines with the first Epiphany for some reason but not so
much the second.“
Fia could feel a few more tiny, fluorescent orange bubbles
accumulate at her cheeks soon after she finished talking about
her youngest siblings. For one, she found that Luis was just so
easy to talk to – sure she’s quite the open book about her life
and thoughts, but she was finding that it was especially so with
Luis. To add to the fact that he so patient with her ramblings
and seemingly genuinely interested in what she had to say helped
her smile all the more. She just might count her lucky sparks
for that regard.
Hearing even more compliments from the winged monster along with
his captivated interest in listening to her and other engaging
mannerisms made Fia wonder and suspect on a few things but she
didn’t bring much attention to entertain such wonderings for now
when she placed a bashful hand to her cheek, “Alright, if you
say so! Ehehehehe~” she added to his insistence. Then he he
began to speak again, Fia didn’t even notice that she had leaned
a little closer by a fraction, as if she was gravitating towards
his words just as he was feeling drawn towards her. Her smile
shifted to one that was curious and a little coy, “You know it’s
kinda funny, because I could have sworn that you’ve just read my
mind just now.” she commented half jokingly, “Great minds think
alike as they say but I’m glad to hear that we’re on the same
page here~”
[hr]
Fia was quite captivated as Cole made that brief explanation,
after all she hadn’t travelled much and yet still held so much
wonder for new experiences or at least hearing them from others,
“Sounds really cool if I’m honest, most of us would probably
have enjoyed seeing it.” the bubbling monster said, referring to
‘us’ to herself, her siblings and mother. She then snorted with
amusement, “Yeah pretty much, I still think she needs to get out
more rather than haunting the attic so much. Or at the very
least not read at the table; that’s rather… impolite?”
Hearing and seeing the café full of life today was rather
satisfying for the flaming elemental; it just made everything
so… welcoming. From the subtleties of monsters going about their
own business and conversations right up to the lively gathering
at their tables. Amongst all the enthusiasm, Fia couldn’t hold
herself together as those clear oiled tears with a subtle fruity
fragrance finally rolled down her cheeks after accumulating at
the corner of her eyes.
“No problem at all Cherry and thank you!” she finally replied
before bursting out into a fit of giggles, “UnCole! I’m gonna
have to remember that one! I’m not sure yet, but I have no doubt
that we will find out very soon since it looks like it only
happened just moments ago – oh and thanks Yanezi!” that last bit
was called over her shoulder back to the feline; of course as
cheerfully as ever.
After wiping away those happy tears she positively beamed at
Luis, “Sure looks like it! I can’t help but wonder if they ever
expected to have a niece so young? I’m sure that they will be
thrilled regardless.”
Fia cast Cole an apologetic smile when she was finally able to
hand over the phone to him, after realizing that he was the last
to end up seeing the photo. She had intention of giving her
phone to him from the very start, but seeing his reaction was
well worth the wait and hiccup. The firecracker then moved to
hug her cousin again, only this time it was less from excitement
and more of as a sentiment in knowing seeing something like this
meant a great deal to him. Her expression softened when she
noticed that brief radiation of heat, “She’s beautiful isn’t
she?” Fia said softly, “Looks like we know who else will be
there at the next family-shin-dig!”
