Gust shrugged his shoulders "Talk fast, talk slow, doesn't
matter to me flamey" his habit of giving people nicknames
without their permission will never go away anytime soon, its
not like remembering peoples names are that important to him.
Cherry reminded him the first time he tasted flying fish on
their first date, now THAT he remembered quite well. "Oh yeah I
did try it before, must be so good it took away my memories" he
       chuckled.
He watched Cherry approached the feline waitress whispering his
order into her ear, he glanced at Cole then move his focus back
to the waitress who commented on Gust being the one to burn of
the extra magic from Cherry. Oh my...
He even heard the woman flirted at the shark fish resulting a
quick pout from the cheetah "I wonder what straws said in her
       ear" he spoke to Cole.

By: Geneva Bee Date: January 8, 2018, 10:50 am
       ---------------------------------------------------------
A pair of golden eyes looked over the building in front of its
host. "Expresso Yourself," the siren muttered to herself. She
didn't like public places but with her most recent adventures,
she had to start somewhere. With her legs spell already cast to
replace her long tail she moved around to test her balance. Once
sure she had the appendages under control they were then used to
walk into the building and out of the bitter cold of Snowdin.
Upon entering she took noticed of many faces she'd never seen
before. Who were all of these people? With her lips tightly
pressed together she carefully made her way to the line while
looking down at her feet. Geneva swallowed the lump in her
throat and placed her hands on her stomach, squeezing as she
tried to adjust to having so many strangers nearby. However,
even as she stood in line there was a considerable amount of
space between her and the person in front of her.
Her golden eyes never left the ground even for a second.
Suddenly walking into this place felt like a mistake. She felt
trapped although she knew she could walk out at any moment. That
is if her legs didn't betray her and give out. It felt as if
they would give way any minute but she held herself up and
didn't attempt to move until the line did. The lively area felt
so big all of a sudden as if they were all in some warehouse
themed like a coffee shop. An odd image in her mind but also
very terrifying. For a quick moment she looked up to try to find
any familiar faces and she did find herself seeing Gust who had
been on that insane mission she was on but she didn't know him
beyond that. Then there was the very bubbly creature with a
straw coming out the top of her head. Although cute she didn't
know her either. Friends weren't easy to make or maintain. Being
an anxious, anti-social hermit had it's cons just as it had its
       pros.

Re: Come On In, The Coffee's Hot! (Open Scene)
By: Fia Date: January 11, 2018, 6:30 am
       ---------------------------------------------------------
Phoenix blinked with pleasant surprise, she wasn’t quite
expecting him to follow through with her little game that she
threw out there for the sake of idle entertainment. If he wanted
the ball to keep rolling, she was going to help it along anyway.
Amused, Fia continued to play along and leaned a little forward
to rest her upper half and arms onto the table, “Well
seeing as I can entrust my secrets to you, as you’ve
claimed, it couldn’t hurt to tell?” she replied
before opting to rest her chin on one of her hands, “Hmm,
well in truth, it’s not really that difficult – not
with the skills that I have, ehehe~ I often face the biggest
challenges from the three youngest in the family –
triplets. They really get a kick out of sabotaging the rest of
us, like when I’ve arranged everything to be just so, one
minute I’d leave the room then the next I’d come
back to find the stuff rearranged in a completely different
order. If they were cleaning out a room, they would often throw
the junk they find into mine in attempt to look more efficient
than me. That sort of dumb stuff has always been in good fun
       though.”
The flames about her hair and some spots of fire on her exposed
skin rippled and flickered at the comment, “Aw, thank you,
that’s so nice of you to say! I’d surely hope so
though – but if you think that after only meeting
recently, I suppose that I’ve left a good impression then!
Yay!” she cheered; her pearly-whites gleamed through her
       smile.
Fia then paused when heard him mirror some of her earlier words.
‘This is the second time he’s done this.’ she
thought to herself, feeling rather intrigued and her expression
smoothed into a softer one upon seeing how his cheeks shone a
bit more. The subtle sparkles of pale golden hues blending into
the brighter whites and subtle blues seemed to suit the winged
monster before her quite well; she quite liked how unique it
       was.
Her soft smile broadened when she heard his unusual laughter and
couldn’t help but giggle along with it, finding it both
contagious and how tranquil their tones they sounded together,
“If I might do the same, then I’m glad for it to
perhaps happen to someone whom is so well mannered, articulate
and attentive.” she remarked with an amiable voice; akin
to the welcoming warmth of a fire on a cold day. If there was a
spark between the two, Fia wasn’t sure who was the one who
had started it – even almost quite literally – nor
did the importance of whom or how seemed to have mattered much
to the fire elemental. Right now she was enjoying the company of
       a new friend.
“Amaaaaze! I look forward to it!” she replied in an
almost sing-songy voice; going to the museum sounded like too
good of an opportunity to pass up an experience rich with
       history and culture.
       [hr]
The firecracker monster chuckled at Cherry’s antics and
she linked arms with her cousin while waiting patiently for
Cherry to make her order. Meanwhile, her attention had been
diverted to said flickering flames, “Fab! Oh, you
don’t say? What are some of the interesting things
you’ve found?” she inquired curiously before raising
       a hand over her mouth to help surpress a giggle at his jest;
though she couldn’t quite hide that smile behind it very
       well.
Fia has always been used to be given all sorts of nicknames, so
the one bestowed upon her by Gust didn’t bother her in the
slightest. In fact she often encouraged it, preferring Fia or
just about any other nickname over her full one.
Over his shoulder, she noticed the newcomer enter the café. She
looked pretty nervous or uncomfortable over something and
instinctively she raised a hand high into the air and waved at
her enthusiastically, “Hi there! Welcome! Haven’t
see you here before but I know that you’re just gonna love
       this place!” she called out.
Soon Cherry was done with her order just as Fia had encouraged
Cole along closer to the table she was at earlier. Naturally,
her smile brightened at the suggestion, “I think that
would be fantastic idea!” she replied jovially before her
attention was then brought back to Luis and Cole.
“Wow, really?! That’s pretty amazing!” she
proclaimed just before she turned to her cousin with a pout and
shook him lightly, “You neeeeeeeeed to tell me stuff like
this more often Cole! You must be able to get to travel to all
sorts of places in the Underground – how lucky! It really
sounds like you get to go on adventures – I’m
       envious, ehehe!”
Finally unlinking arms from Cole, Fia hurried over to the table
that was close to the one she and Luis were sitting at and
pushed them together to make room for the added number of
monsters and then took her seat opposite Luis again. A few
minutes passed before her mobile phone buzzed with a merry tune
and she fished it out of the small bag she had with her to see
who it was calling her. With an apologetic smile to whomever
company was near her, she swiped the screen to see what the
       message read.
Next thing she knew, her eyes widened with surprise, “Oh
my furnace!” she exclaimed, turning to face Cole again,
“Cole, Erruptus’ wife just had a baby! I’m an
aunty! You’re an uncle! Aaaahhhh I think I’m going
to cry!” she continued, almost sobbing at this point just
as the corner of her eyes glistened with delighted tears. Her
phone chimed again, this time a photo had been sent to her and
she showed it to her cousin, then to anyone else whom might be
interested. On the screen was a lovely picture of a proud
Erruptus with her Rock Elemental of a wife whom looked both
happy and exhausted. In her arms cradled a precious bundle of
flaming pebbles accumulated together to form a sleeping humanoid
       form.

Re: Come On In, The Coffee's Hot! (Open Scene)
By: Cherry Date: January 12, 2018, 5:53 am
       ---------------------------------------------------------
Cherry would smile lightly when the feline patted her hand in a
supportive way. "I'll make sure she see's you next time she
comes by, I really hope she drops in while Cole, Gust and I are
still here" The sodashark then put an arm behind her head and
rubbed her hair at the next part, "Ah, heh, jeez, that's real
sweet of you, I don't mind paying to take something home for her
really though!" She was already starting to go a bit of a darker
shade in the cheeks at the other monster's kindness and offer.
She truly did enjoy delivering to here because of the people who
worked here, they made the big difference.
The way Yanezi spoke about Cinnamon's cooking continued to make
Cherry smile, and the flick of her slender tail didn't go
       unnoticed either.
"Heheheh-" The catshark would chuckle a little nervously at the
hip comment, looking down at them as she did and patting her
sides a couple times with her paws, her shorts where.. Tighter
then what she remembered them to be, had they always been that
way and she had just not noticed until it'd been pointed out in
a way? Her thought train was tipped right off the rails at
Yanezi's next comment, Cherry's expression changed in a matter
of seconds at what the feline was suggesting, holding up her
paws as her pupils shrunk into slits. "Wh- I- N-no no no it's
not like that! AHeh! I swear-" Her face would go a deep red and
she even went a little 'orange' in the cheeks. She dared not to
look at either Cole nor Gust right now.
But it also didn't stop there, after what Cherry had whispered
and a brief compliment, the feline complimented her back in a
way that made the shark pause in surprise, and made her that
       more flustered.
"Hnnnnrrr!" Was all she managed to get back out at first, and
anyone close to her would be able to hear that light fizzing
noise.. She had been caught on the spot, and caught well at
that! Even after Yanezi had gone to make the drink, she still
seemed rather glued to the spot, her fur on end-- That is until
       Cole stepped in.
"Cole!" She puffed up her cheeks, looking a bit embarrassed but
       more flustered then anything. "[sub][sub]Not
helping[/sub][/sub]" She'd mutter before pouting and crossing
her arms while her face went even redder. "Yeah yeah, real
funny" She'd poke her tongue out at her best friend, before
giving him a gentle and rather playful punch to the arm. "I can
think of one who wasn't a cat though~"
She was a bit glad of the subject focus being changed when Fia
agreed to them joining the table, though she did find herself
glancing back to see if she could catch another glimpse of
Yanezi for but a second or two. To calm her feelings down
though, she decided it'd be best if she focused on the topic at
the table. "Thank you for letting us sit with you!" She would
thank Fia and Luis as she took a seat close to Cole, looking to
Gust and motioning for him to follow.
The news of the baby and how Fia was now an aunt and Cole, an
uncle brought a smile to Cherry's face. She would hop back out
of her chair and would come up behind Cole, putting her arms
around him and lifting him up with a strong and somewhat tight
hug, "An Uncle!? More like UnCOLE! Hahahah! CONGRATULATIONS!
You're now an egg uncle!" She'd cheer, setting him back down
after a short while before giving Fia a toothy smile, "That's so
exciting! Congratulations to them! And to you!" She gave a soft
'Aww' when she got to see the picture herself, before settling
back down into her seat. "Have they settled on a name?" She'd
ask as her eyes glanced off to Luis for a short while, he was
the only one at the table that she had no real knowledge of yet
aside from what had been said since they arrived. "Please pardon
me uh-" She'd reach and hold out a paw to Luis from where she
sat at the table, "Thank you for letting us sit with you, it's
nice to meet you! I'm Cherry" Time to fix the fact that she
hadn't said hello to him earlier!

       By: guest130 Date: January 14, 2018, 6:17 am
       ---------------------------------------------------------
“That’d be pretty awesome, but I know she’s super busy, so if
she can’t, it’s totally cool. You can just pass my regards on to
her in that case.” Yanezi certainly wasn’t going to fuss to try
and see the Waterfall baker if she was unwell, though the petite
monster’s company was always a joy given her passion for caring
for others, even if not quite as boisterous as the flamboyant
Fia. “I know you don’t, but you know how Haldor can be,” the
feline chortled softly with a little purr and another pat.
“We’ll see how it goes when you’re ready to leave, but enjoy the
       atmosphere in the meanwhile.”
Given that the catshark was right in front of her, it was pretty
much impossible to miss the subtle hip patting gesture at her
comment. It earned a slightly toothier grin as her ears pricked
forward a little more, clearly enjoying the chance to tease her
friend lightheartedly. Cherry’s reaction to the next comment
earned the faintest titter before she raised a mildly mollifying
hand. “Cher, relax; it’s not like you’re not consenting adults
if that’s how you wanna roll.” The cashier’s tail swished a
little with amusement dancing in her jade eyes. It was honestly
too adorable to resist giving her another teasing flirt, rather
enjoying the shocked fizzing sound it made her produce. It was
       cute, no denying that~
Cole’s rather teasing aside was met with a cheeky tail-flick
from the feline while she prepared that cocoa just how the
sodashark liked it, completely amused with the results of her
antics. “I’ll be right with you, dear; feel free to peruse the
menu while you wait,” she called in a friendly tone toward the
currently bipedal naga, using her long tail to gesture to the
chalkboard sign above the front area with all the various
coffees, teas, cocoas, sandwiches, soups, and salads the place
       had to serve.
The antics between the rest were background noise for a bit
while she worked, though still with a lazily attentive ear just
in case something important were brought up. Since she was
already going to be bringing the cocoa to Cherry, she opted to
grab the other’s drinks while she was at it, snagging the ginger
beer for Cole and also a glass bottled cherry soda for Gust with
a sly expression. The food would be along shortly, but she
figured all that talking must be thirsty work, after all. She
soon sauntered over to the tables they’d put together, setting
the ginger beer in front of the sooty fire elemental first, then
the fruity pop in front of the cheetah, and lastly the extra
decorated hot cocoa in front of the sodashark, leaning in to
murmur playfully in her ear. “[glow=#afeeee,2,300]I stirred it
with my finger to make sure it was sweet enough for you,
Cher,[/glow]” she purred, brushing the tip of her tail along the
back of one of Cherry’s side fins lightly before withdrawing to
offer the table a polite smile. “Congratulations on the new
addition, Fia!” she chirred happily in response to the overheard
news, before sauntering back toward the front to assist the
serpentine woman if she was ready.
Of course the kitchen was indeed prompt in delivering up that
food as ordered, bringing Cherry one of the large homemade
cinnamon rolls that were a long term tradition of the cafe,
slightly warmed and likely recently out of the oven, Cole his
specially customized club sandwiches just like he’d requested,
and for Gust there was another type of sandwich
  HTML http://food.fnr.sndimg.com/content/dam/images/food/fullset/2013/2/25/0/ZB0310H_homemade-roast-beef-sandwich-au-jus-recipe_s4x3.jpg.rend.hgtvcom.616.462.suffix/1371614326689.jpeg<br
/>with a side of a savory au jus sauce. It looked to be some kin
       d
of warm roast beef on a fluffy long roll with creamy white
cheese, pickled radish, and a bit of watercress. It was served
with a side of lightly salted chisps and a pickle spear, just
like the other sandwiches at the cafe. Hopefully the speedy
feline would be willing to try something new for a change?
       [hr]
Of course after Yanezi had assisted Geneva with her order and
the coast was clear, she fished out her phone to text Cherry,
genuinely concerned regarding her friend and their mother, who
sometimes kind of felt like a mother to a lot of the staff when
       she stopped in.
       [font=Lucida Console, Monaco, mono, monospace][Heya. I didn’t
wanna bug you about it in public & all, but I got the impression
something else is up with your mom? You can tell me to bugger
off if you wanna, but I just wanted you to know I’m here if you
need to talk or something. Maybe catch a movie at the Capital?
Been a while since we caught up, so just, yanno, if you’re
feeling up to it, lemme know.[img

The more he listened to the idle chatter the more confusing it
gets, he caught wind of Cherry being flustered at whatever the
lady told her, were they talking about their relationship? On
top of Cole slipping in a comment about her and the dynamic with
cats, its the only reason he could think of why is she acting
this way. "Okay seriously I'm lost, what are you guys talking
about?" he asked again. He looked at Cherry's gesture signaling
for him to follow his sexy leg soda gal and parked a seat next
to her along with Cole's family.
Soon the waitress placed everyone's preferred drink on the
table, and Gust received cherry flavored soda for his. "Cherry
soda? Thanks!" he grinned. Wait..how did she know he likes to
drink that specific flavor? what did Cherry tell her.. Before he
could ask about his order, some wonderful news began to spur
about Cole's relatives having a child making Ol flame boy an
uncle and his cousin an aunt. Naturally at the news he zoomed
around Cole excited about the announcement, "Gosh! You're going
to be an uncle! I have to call you a new nickname now!, how bout
       errrrm Uncle Flamo!" he concluded.

Amarillo entered the small restaurant, wincing slightly as the
bell chimed, announcing her entrance. She adjusted her glasses
and looked around, pausing just enough so she could catch her
breath. It was a long walk from Waterfall and she hadn't felt
like asking the River Person for a ride. She walked slowly,
almost limping, to the counter. Even though she had been to
Snowdin quite a few times, she still didn't know anyone's name.
As she reached the counter, the cashier looked at her. Rillo
looked at the menu, debating on whether she should order a small
       or large coffee.
Before she could think about it anymore, she blurted something
out. "One..er.. small coffee, with uh, extra creamer..." She had
always had a problem with stuttering, especially when speaking
English. Embarrassed, she hid her mouth in the collar of her
shirt and hurried over to the waiting area. At first glance,
Amarillo didn't see anyone she knew, but she had always found it
easy when making new friends. She looked at the Lesser Dog
sentry seated by themselves and decided to try talking to them.

Lesser Dog looked up as Amarillo approached. Her ears perked up
as the Temmie approached. She smiled, realizing they had come
over to talk to her. "HI!" Lesser Dog spoke with far more
enthusiasm than you would expect from a simple greeting. "If you
want to sit here go ahead, The other dogs In my unit don't sit
with me... I don't think they come here at all really... I'm
       Lesser Dog by the way"
"So, Your new here right? How can I help you! If you need help
that is if not... er... How can I not help you?" Lesser Dog
paused at the end of the sentence, trying to work out if her own
       words actually made logical sense.

Linny looked at the ground with a persistent frown, feeling as
though she abandoned Grillby. All that she could think about was
the steadily growing irritation that she was building up towards
her friend. How could they have called her at that time and not
after she had finished eating Grillby's glorius burgers.. She
hoped that her friend was being serious, otherwise she was going
to be getting an uncomfortable bony beating. Not too long after
her second attempt at calling her friends phone number while she
shuffled through town, she tried remembering where her friend
said they were. "Espresso Or Shelf" was what came to mind, but
she had a feeling that was not what she was told.
She continued down the path between the shops and homes and came
across what she believed was the designated building that her
friend told her to stop at. "Espresso Yourself.. OH! Okay, I
knew that wasn't what I really heard." She said with a hint of a
smile before it went back down while she clutched her ribcage.
Her imaginary stomach gurgled angrily, the smell of food from
Grillby's had made her more hungry than she was previously, and
since she was pulled from her meal, she couldn't get the
satisfactory feeling of being full. She groaned out loud as she
walked towards the door, quickening her pace. She creaked the
door open, peeking inside to see who was there. She walked in
through the doorway, feeling more confidence as she noticed a
small handful of monsters she had already met eating and
conversating. She walked up to the counter and gave a weak grin
that permeated with guilt before she looked up towards the menu.
She tapped a phalange on her lower jaw with indecisiveness,
trying to come up with a good, filling choice that would tide
her over. She looked around and saw that a few of the patrons
had a tall and very full-looking sandwich on their plates, so
she opted for what she thought that was called on the menu. "I
think I'll go with a club sandwich and a... Caramel Mocha?" She
said as she looked at the cafe's drink menu. Coffee wasn't new
to her, it was her daily wake-up remedy. She hasn't ever been
here because she normally ate at Grillby's or the shop next to
the motel... But she was always one to try new things and she
was staving- practically skin and bones!

Amarillo smiled, immediately feeling comfortable around the Dog.
She sat down next to her. "Nice to, erm, meet you! My name is...
uh, Amarillo. I'm only new to Snowdin... I've just, er, never
really ventured out of the... um, Temmie Village." She blushed
and adjusted her glasses before taking a sip of her coffee. She
jerked back in surprise, "WoA!! That's hOT!!"
She was glad to have met someone friendly so quickly. Already,
the Tem felt comfortable around Lesser Dog. She hoped that maybe
the two could be friends and have a chance to get to know each
       other better.
