Re: Come On In, The Coffee's Hot! (Open Scene)
By: Fia Date: December 21, 2017, 10:49 am
---------------------------------------------------------
“Ooooooo! The university! You’re really going to
love it there! I wasn’t a student but I made regular trips
there for some volunteer work. One time, after I got to know the
campus well enough, I even pretended to be one of those
yellow-shirt-wearing-Orientation-tour-guides. They’re a
ball to hang out with, so much positive energy! I felt right at
home ehehehe~” Fia chimed whilst quietly clapping her
hands together with excitement; a few more sparks flew off of
her hands and fizzled out to nothing just before they reached
the counter.
“Oh I betcha, you’d rock that headpiece girl!”
she agreed eagerly before making an amused, dismissive noise and
insisted, “Pfft, giiiirl just wear it with whatever and
wherever you want! Oh Bunsen Burners knows that I would! Who
cares what anyone else would think! It’ll look really
amaaaaazing on you – matching your eyes and all~”
[hr]
After receiving the lazy wave back, Fia got the impression that
the monster preferred his own space and after one last friendly
smile she redirected her attention to the winged one sitting in
front of her. She soon giggled at Luis’ comment,
“Well you certainly did more than enough justice to it, I
really think you helped perk up a fair number of monsters in
here already!” she replied with a coy smile before moving
her violin from off of the table and placed it across her lap,
“Glad to hear that you’ve been doing well, and I
certainly have! I was able to catch up with some of my brothers
and sisters this morning – I love them all so much! Since
I was near Snowdin and craving a mean Vulkinian Coffee to
satisfy my inner-fat-flame, I thought it was worth dropping
by!”
Whilst her cheery presence didn’t dwindle away, something
about his wording did prompt a sense of empathy within the
flamed monster and she didn’t need him to elaborate
further. It then urged her to calmly slide her hand across the
table and gently placed it atop of his forearm. Her touch was
warm and bright pink flames danced between their skins without
causing any harm; to which she hoped it could offer at least
some comfort, “Figuring out such things often need
time.” Fia said softly.
Judging by the subtlety of the delivery, the fire elemental got
the impression it wasn’t a topic to linger on, so
naturally she continued with the conversation he was steering
towards and it certainly earned a raised curious brow –
whilst also slowly removing her hand from his arm.
“Work, huh? What do you do?” she began, her tone
gradually picking back up to the slightly higher octave she used
earlier. Fia was slightly hesitant at first before she then
asked, “And what rumours? About what?”
’If he didn’t want to talk about that then surely he
wouldn’t bring it up?’
“Oooh so I’m a Fun Elemental now? I thought I was a
Joy Elemental? Either way, I can’t say that you’re
wrong though, I can be pretty fun to be around once you get to
know me more~” she cooed with a never fading, brilliant
smile just as one of the employees had approached their table
and set her coffee down before they left to quickly attend to
other responsibilities they had.
Just when she would have thought her smile didn’t get any
brighter, it certainly did the moment she received the coffee
and a few excited crackles resonated from her flaming
‘hair’. Fia then swiftly picked up the coffee and
downed eager sips from the tall mug, “Hmm since our last
meeting I’ve helped throw a party for a group of Icecaps
last night – have you seen how adorable they are? They
have such tiny feet ehehehe! I mostly helped with putting up
decorations and gave a small, complimentary fireworks show for
them towards the end of the night – it was a Sweet
Sixteenth and they wanted something special that the birthday
girl wasn’t used to seeing. It was a bit of a work out but
totally worth seeing the look on her face!”

---------------------------------------------------------
The perky fire elemental’s enthusiasm was always contagious and
Yanezi couldn’t help but smile at it. “I bet you did! I did a
tour recently myself. It was pretty amazing how big the campus
is being in the Capital and all, but I guess since education’s
super important it’s been given a lot of it.” She made a brief
expansive gesture with her arms to try an emphasize the size
before continuing. “Especially since that’s where any monsters
who pursue higher education have to go. Kind of makes me wonder
what it’ll be like when we get to the Surface. Probably have a
lot more schools then, huh?”
Fia’s playfully dismissive utterances earned light laughter from
the feline, her jade eyes sparkling with amusement; or maybe it
was a reflection of the light that the glowing monster put off
in her own enthusiasm, ever the firecracker. Either way, her
grin grew and it was clear she appreciated the input. “Says the
person who wears anything and everything~” she rebutted with
equal humor, playfully batting her hand at the woman’s forearm
in rather cat-like fashion.
[hr]
It was little surprise that after that dressing down that the
kitsune changed her order from one for here to one to go
instead. Frankly, given the rumors and the way Yanezi had been
treated -- or rather ignored -- by the hermit monster, that
seemed like a much better choice for the atmosphere of the
usually upbeat cafe. As ever the kitchen staff and baristas were
prompt in getting those orders out -- monsters had places to be
and things to do, after all -- and soon enough the multi-tailed
Yukite had her order and was on her way, departing into the cold
of Snowdin, likely never seen nor heard from again as she
returned to her self-imposed exile.
[hr]
“Well, of course it is, Lou! Spice keeps food interesting, and I
always find your performances interesting.” Those jade eyes
danced with merriment and perhaps a mild coyness; it was rather
cute to see the decidedly attractive monster being mildly
flustered. So atypical of what she was used to from some of the
teenage boys in school. Most of them didn’t seem to have two
neurons to rub together.
Her smile grew at the fact he was considering sticking around
for such a performance. “Well, I guess you’ll just have to show
up some night and find out, won’t you~?” she purred coyly, her
expression just a hint cheshire. “We usually get started around
eight p.m., so feel free to maybe have dinner -- here or
elsewhere -- and stay for the show.” She knew he had business to
attend -- or was it pleasure? -- so she didn’t keep him as she
moved on to the next customer. He wouldn’t have to wait long for
his hot chocolate, however, as the baristas seemed intimately
familiar with who that particular beverage was for at this
point, the staff prompt to bring it to him, piping hot and
sweetened how he’d requested.
[hr]
“Heya LD!” Yanezi called cheerfully as the canine guard made her
way into the cafe, in civilian dress for a change. Of course on
or off duty, those peacekeepers were always welcomed at Espresso
Yourself, and personally the feline found the sometimes goofy
pup endearing most of the time with her enthusiasm and often
slightly baffled expression.
When the white fluff monster made her way to the front counter,
the blue-grey cat was quick to pull out the tall, biodegradable
travel cup that would let the guard take her coffee with her
when she left, passing it over with one hand while reaching up
with the other to give that thick ruff around the neck a good
scritching pet. “Here you go! Nice to see you again, LD. Heard
about your station; hope it wasn’t too much trouble to fix.”
Being a considerate cashier, she of course wouldn’t detain the
canine once she had her coffee from the thermoses right next to
the ordering counter, as business was always moving through the
cafe, especially at mealtimes.

Ever attentive to the entry chime -- unless he was on one of the
other two levels or back in the kitchen where it couldn’t be
heard -- Haldor was prompt to notice the Lesser Dog’s entrance,
waving to the familiar guardswoman from where he was presently
meandering among tables in his establishment. Yanezi knew what
the off duty protector would need, having been working for him
for a few years now, so he wasn’t overly concerned about
intervening with their interaction.
The opossum’s entrance may have been a little rowdy, but the
earth elemental had seen far more unruly ones in his time, so he
simply kept a brief eye on the newcomer initially before
returning to his floating about the patrons, taking the time to
engage with various regulars to ensure they were comfortable and
had all that they needed. Of course consistent quality from his
baristas and cooks was equally important, and checking those
orders was something he did habitually as well.
It wasn’t long before one of the runners brought Cliff both his
club sandwich and his coffee. The cafe mocha

was
served in a wide-mouthed white mug, a cute design drawn on the
top by the barista that looked like winged or feathered hearts.
The sandwich
HTML http://www.chewboom.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/McAlisters-Deli-Offers-4-Clubs-On-November-3-2016-678x381.jpg<br
/>was well and generously made with plenty of meats, creamy slic
ed
cheese, fresh lettuce and tomato, along with sides of mustard
and mayo for dressing however the eater might wish. There was
also a generous side of popato chisps and a crisp pickle spear
to make it a filling meal overall. It was certainly a picture of
deliciousness, and the young waitress offered Cliff a genuine
smile as she dropped it off, taking his table number. “Enjoy!”
she bade him cheerily before zipping off, presumably with many
more orders to deliver.
While the Lesser Dog guard might not have seen any of the
familiar faces of the most well known members of the Snowdin
Canine Unit among the cafe’s patrons, there were certainly other
canine-type monsters present among those guests, soaking up the
atmosphere just as contently as the off duty guard herself was.
There were a few guards there, obviously on break for lunch, and
occasionally one or two could be seen through the large window
panes wrapping around the front of the building, walking their
patrol routes to keep the Underground safe.
With Luis having finished his performance and Fia making such an
entrance, the craggy countanced owner made his way over to their
table to offer them a friendly smile, his golden topaz eyes
glittering with warmth. “T’was an stoat performance as aye,
Luis; ye hae mah cheers.” Gaze shifted to the fire elemental.
“An' yer presence livens up th' place as aye, m’dear. dae lit me
ken if Ah can gie ye anythin', aw reit?” Not one to linger
overlong with any one guest or table, he was was soon in motion
again -- something that almost seemed counter to his earthy
nature to those unfamiliar with the man -- and took an
opportunity to check in with the kitchen staff for a few, just
to ensure everything was continuing to go smoothly with the
heart of the house.

Re: Come On In, The Coffee's Hot! (Open Scene)
By: Marver Date: December 22, 2017, 4:46 am
---------------------------------------------------------
Soon a young teenage dragoness staggered into the café. She wore
a slight grimace and as she shuddered from the chill outside,
her light pink scales rattled along when the nearby windowpanes
and glasses on tables jingled in their places without cracking
or falling over. Three orbs of marbled glass orbited calmly
around Marver, seeming to happily float about the dragons
‘gravitational’ pull on them.
“Man, it’s freezing out.” she murmured as she hugged herself and
rubbed her arms before making her way deeper into the café. The
young reptilian seemed ill-equipped with the appropriate
clothing for Snowdin – maybe she was just visiting briefly? –
and looked more like she was better suited to endure the intense
heat of Hotland. Marver wasn’t a regular here and took a moment
to look about the establishment and soaked in the décor; then
walked past Luis, Fia and Cliff, having not met any of them
before and didn’t pay much mind to them for now as she made a
beeline for the counter.
“Hi!” she greeted the feline employee, “Um, could I please have
a hot chocolate…”
There was a pause as she looked over the savouries on display
behind glass; to which Marver had subconsciously touched with a
hand as she was making up her mind, “… and half a dozen
choc-chip cookies please. Thank you!”
The Glassmith apprentice offered the required amount of payment,
took a table number and made her way to sit at a table not too
far from the opossum; still rubbing her arms to warm back up. A
few more minutes went by as she waited for her order before she
plucked one of the three glass orbs from its orbit and bit into
it; the glass cracked and shattered from her bite in a similar
fashion to a broken eggshell. However, any fragments which broke
off and fell were stopped in their tracks mid air. It was a
common habit the young apprentice had been keenly aware of doing
whenever she consumed glass – for the safety of others of
course.

Re: Come On In, The Coffee's Hot! (Open Scene)
By: Luxin Date: December 24, 2017, 8:52 am
---------------------------------------------------------
Luis' order arrived within mere minutes. T'was but one of the
several benefits to being a regular customer at this point.
"Thank you~" He smiled to the member of staff that had delivered
the inordinately sweetened drink; a true antithesis to the
bitterness of coffee. Though at the same time; the syrup was in
no way sickeningly sweet. It also had a mystical visual property
that first gave the beverage a warm dim glow, and either when it
was held up towards a light or if a light was to be shone
through it, a miniature aurora borealis of similarly heated
colours. The winged monster bowed slightly to Haldor as the man
approached. "Not a problem my good man." Luis waved as Haldor
moved along to continue his duties.
"Heh~ I'm glad I could do even a fraction of that really." Luis
mused as he slowly surveyed the café, smiling at those that had
chosen to come along on this day of all days to create--
unbeknownst to them-- a unique experience or series of events.
"Life is such a wonderful, precious thing. Every day is a
treasure." He spoke familiar words as he turned back to Fia.
"Thats good! You've got quite a few siblings besides Ember then?
I wonder what its like--" Luis scratched the back of his neck,
sounding somewhat embarrassed. "-- I've always been curious,
since I'm an only child." He shrugged and took a sip of his hot
chocolate, sparkles shimmering off of his face as he did.
The iridescent emerald hues of Luis' hair cycled like a wave all
of a sudden when Fia reached out to comfort him. Strangely, he
wasn't exactly taken aback nor did he recoil in any way. Sure,
he was stunned, but in a good way. The small flecks of pink
flame that touched him-- or any that even got near him-- would
be given a moment of extra brightness before fizzling out. Luis'
gaze traveled from Fia's hand on his arm to her lime green eyes,
his own sky blue eyes showing her an unspoken yet heartfelt
sense of gratitude. "Yeah, you're right." His lips slowly curled
into a smile, which then became a grin. "Goodness knows I've got
a lot of time on my hands, though." Luis took another sip of his
drink after Fia let him be, the same reaction occurring as
before. "W-well, besides when I'm at work that is. I'm front of
house for the natural history museum in Waterfall as well as a
tour guide for special exhibitions. I'm there three days a week,
sometimes four if I need to cover for someone. Great atmosphere,
you should totally come along sometime~"
As for the rumors, Luis first rested his chin on one hand,
holding his mug in the other casually. "See thats the thing, I'm
not really all that sure? I was in Gravelshire recently, and
people there have been talking about strange noises in the walls
and sightings of something that had one arm longer than the
other. Just this morning when I visited a friend in Woodland,
she told me that she saw a 'funny looking thing' out the corner
of her eye for a second that she could've sworn had a hole in
it? When we tried to look for it we heard a whistling sound and
whatever it was probably gone? Its all bizarre." He shrugged,
evidently unsure of what to think. "Nobody seems to have been
hurt, so thats nice~!"
Luis' contemplative expression softened as he smiled once more,
and there was a bit of extra pep in his tone now. "Oh? I meant
that you were quite fun to be around too, even if we've only
recently met I feel like I can say that without a shadow of a
doubt. Now that you mention it, I did say that kinda thing so--
perhaps you're a bit of both?" He smirked a little, stroking his
chin for a second. "Nah, call it a hunch, but I think you're
more than just a bit of both?" Internally, Luis was wondering
why he blurted out these kinds of things-- unsure of what string
of logic lead him to them, but at the same time he saw nothing
wrong with any of it, so he didn't question himself.
Besides, his conversational partner had a fun story to tell, so
of course he would listen! "Indeed, I know of them; one of my
colleagues is an Icecap in fact." Luis nodded and allowed Fia to
continue her story to the end. "Hmhmhm. Like I said. You embody
fun and joy; you just confirmed that fact." With another quick
sip of his drink, Luis reached into one of his pockets from
which he brought out the business card Fia gave him the other
day. "In regards to that, I've given it some thought-- and I was
meaning to call you after I was done here actually-- I'm totally
down with being the resident pianist for your business." He said
once again intrigued with the extra flair Fia's number had on
this specific card.
Out of the corner of his eye he spotted Marver enter and make
her way to the counter. 'Oh? Cobalt's sister...? Wouldn't she
still be grounded by now?' While it was odd to see the young
dragon out on her own, in the end, it was nothing but a passing
thought. Anyone that brought harm to her would have Cobalt
breathing down their neck and Lucian holding them in a headlock.

---------------------------------------------------------
Casually sauntering through downtown Snowdin, Cole waved to
several people that he knew from school as well as other
friends; it was clear enough to the lot of them that Cole had
somewhere to be and that he was already hanging out with some
people; Cherry and Gust; who he could hear following along next
to him talking about whatever they wanted to talk about, if it
wasn't his business he didn't really pay much attention. Just
after a small pink dragon had entered, the trio would come up
around the corner to the front of the café. "Well, here we are.
Espresso Yourself." He said as he reached for the door, holding
it open for the pair, entering after they did. "Also yes, its a
pun. Get used to it."
Leaving them mostly to their own devices, Cole took a more calm
and casual approach to things, walking up to the counter of his
own accord after taking in the largely positive atmosphere the
place had today. Passing by Fia and Luis, he casually gave the
other flame elemental and the shining wing-man a quick salute.
"Yo Fia, Luis."
Now the young man simply waited in line patiently until his turn
to order came along...

Along the way to the cafe, Cherry had taken up filling Gust in
on the adventure that she had, had with Cole and Lucian during
the time Gust had been away. With one hand on her hip, and the
other still holding onto Gust's, she'd seemed to have a rather
cheeky looking grin as she spoke about it though, talking as if
he'd missed out on all the cool things, to her really though he
kind of had, it had been an adventure! Was she rubbing it in to
get back at him for leaving in the first place? Probably. Had he
earnt it? Heck yeah to her! She also was excited to tell him
about the adventure though too, so he'd of been hearing about it
anyway.
"...- You should've been there though seriously, I couldn't
believe my muffins when Lucian showed up! Like wow! He's so
cool-- And the thing. Cole too, wow it was a real ride!" This
was probably the third time she'd said something like this at
this point, but she was just excited! "You should meet him
sometime Gust, he's so cool-- Lucian that is, but Cole is cool
too, go talk to him more too!" She grinned a toothy grin before
looking at Cole once they arrived.
"Oh I know here! Mumma and I deliver stuff here sometimes! The
people here are super nice! Mumma always looks forward to
delivery time" She'd always been amused by the punny name that
the cafe had.
Cole would be followed by Cherry, still holding Gust's hand. She
only paused to point a finger at Gust for a moment, raising an
eyebrow, "Best behavior now Spots, you hear? She smiled before
then looking to who Cole had saluted to. Fia and Luis? Was this
nerd going to introduce them to his friends? Cherry frowned
lightly as he instead went past and waited in line. Was he
trying to avoid who he'd saluted to for the most part? Hmmm.
Either way. She hoped her best friend was feeling okay.
"Everything alright Cole?" The catshark would ask as she placed
a gentle paw on his shoulder for a moment, she looked really
guilty, but that was probably because of earlier.
"Also, You boys know what you want from the menus?" She glanced
between them before then taking a moment to take in her
surroundings, she'd always loved the welcoming warmth that the
cafe held. It was so cozy and calming, people could talk for
ages with friends and be comfortable with good food and a
friendly setting.
She sure was glad that Cole had decided on here.

Cliff sighed to himself at his new accomplishment of not having
someone move just by waving at them. And as his food arrived his
brows rose. "Wow, I didn't expect edible artistry," he noted as
it came, impressed despite the permanent sarcastic monotone in
his voice. He didn't know if he should let his coffee grow cold
or to forget the pattern layered in the sandwiches; to grow
hungry or grow forgetful of the wings in the froth; to remember
flavors or remember how damn good it all looked. He picked up
and sandwich and much to his regret took a bite out of it, until
the flavors kicked in and he lost that thought.

Ears chimed in to listen Cherry's tale of her adventure with her
flame companion Cole, she is blabbing about this guy name
Lucian, is he another idol of hers like Undyne? What makes him
so impressive to Cherry? he will have to find out one of these
days, for now he is glad his lover wasn't down in the dumps like
he was the whole time. "Lucian eh? Sounds like you two went
through a lot and had some fun without me, no wonder Cole was so
wicked back there" he will never forget that moment of him
saving Gust and tearing his aquarian counterpart a new one,
literally.
The trio stood in line waiting to order like everyone else, he
is then told to behave himself, like she is one to talk. "Yeah
yeah I wont do anything, I promise, I'm getting flying fish
wanna eat something different for once" he placed a knuckle on
his waist.

Re: Come On In, The Coffee's Hot! (Open Scene)
By: Fia Date: December 26, 2017, 8:02 am

“Well since you’ve accomplished far more than just a
fraction, you must be feeling mighty proud to have done that
rather effortlessly~” she complimented before taking a
moment to blink and realized that he had remembered something
small she had mentioned in their last meeting. Naturally, her
smile was as radiant as ever and she then nodded rather
enthusiastically, “Indeed I do; eight actually! I have
five sisters and three brothers and I’m the third-eldest
in the family. Don’t tell anyone this but I think I am-
” she then leaned in a little closer over the table and
raised a hand beside her mouth, as though she was about to share
a dastardly secret, “- the best-looking and current holder
of the room-cleaning-pantry-organizing-tea-brewing-championship!
Ehehe!”
“Oops! Seems that I have gotten a little off-topic there!
Again!” she giggled again before sitting back up straight
and placed a finger to her chin thoughtfully. There was also a
fond smile about her features as she thought about her family
and contemplated on her answer for him, “As for what
it’s like, I suppose that’s a question that has
different answers for different families, really. For one -
before me and my elder siblings moved out of home - the family
home doesn’t even get to fathom the meaning of quiet.
Something is always going on at some part of the house and a lot
of us aren’t really shy about being vocal about it too.
Sometimes, some of my siblings don’t really care if any of
us are trying to sleep.
“Eating dinner together is always a riot though! All of us
sit at this really long table that seats for ten monsters
– sometimes we add an extra small table and chairs at the
end when we have guests over – and naturally, it’s
always so lively eating together. Someone always has some news
of some kind, sometimes a few of my sibling squabble over
comparing portions of food being served, some are really fussy,
some hardly eat, some clean up their plates so fast it’s
as though they haven’t eaten for days.
“Singing, dancing, music-playing, yelling and competing
over something is expected on a day-to-day basis. My family and
I like a good challenge.” she winked, “So I guess
the short of it is, having siblings – at least in my
family – is having someone you love no matter how much
they can drive you nuts, no matter how weird, how loud, how
secretive, how many bad decisions they make in life and that
love is returned. It’s like a lifetime of a support
network if your relationship with your siblings is good.
Sometimes there are some families out there whom just cut off
all contact from their siblings all together because they simply
couldn’t resolve any problems or differences they have
– or whatever the reason for it. It makes me feel a bit
sad actually. I know that I tend to feel particularly protective
of my younger siblings because I want to help them to learn from
my mistakes and make better decisions for their futures; and
I’m sure that they feel the same for me, regardless of
age.”
She then moved her hand from her chin to her cheek in an almost
bashful way, “I’m sorry, does that make sense?
It’s kind of a question that doesn’t really have an
answer that can be justified with words sometimes. Even for me,
and look at you putting up with listening to me drabble
on!”
Whilst those sparkles, the brightening of her flames and
especially how his hair had cycled through a wave of hues
certainly captivated Fia’s eye at appropriate times, but
she was not the very least bit distracted or inconsiderate when
sharing a sentimental moment with the winged monster. That
silent message was delivered and received clearly and her
green-eyed gaze returned a message of understanding and empathy;
perhaps not an understanding of whatever details those
situations entail, but at least the comfort she was attempting
to deliver had been well received.
She soon found that her soft smile had started to mirror his
grin, “Well that’s a good thing, it just means that
you can take the time to consider and make better decisions
whilst sorting those things out.” she pointed out
encouragingly just as she cupped the coffee mug between her
hands around the sides and base of it. A quiet series of muffled
crackles could be heard from her hands, and every now and then a
stray spark would have slipped from between her fingers and soon
it became apparent that the fire elemental had decided to bring
the already steaming hot coffee to a boil. Her affable features
peered at Luis over the rim of her mug and through the steam
just before she immediately took a sip from it, “Oooooh
yes, I’ve heard of the Natural History Museum and
I’ve been meaning to go; just never really got around to
it. I suppose I have even more reason to go now don’t I~
Are there are special exhibits on at the moment?”
A twinge of concern rippled about Fia’s expression and
flames when she heard the rumor, “Hm, oh dear,
that’s a little alarming? Especially since you seemed to
have gone to take the extra step to make sure no one nearby was
hurt – maybe whatever this is has potential to be
dangerous? Not that I blame you though, given some recent
happenings I’d be especially wary of anything strange or
out of the ordinary. I appreciate you letting me know though,
while Woodland is a fair distance away, Gravelshire sounds an
awful a lot closer to Hotland. I’ll have to let my family
know to be extra watchful then.”
At the change of subject Fia chuckled before hiding a new smile
behind the mug when she took a sip of coffee,
“You’re quite the perceptive one Luis, it’s an
amiable quality.” she began, matching his smirk with a
curious grin, “That being said, I sure hope that I embody
those two qualities, but in what way makes you think that I am
‘more than just both’?”
She continued to sip away at her boiling beverage as she
listened to him, though paused when he brought out her business
card again. Fia had set her coffee back down and cheerfully
clapped her hands together; more harmless sparks were sent
flying from her palms each time her hands had made contact with
each other, “Oh would you? That is wonderful news! Thank
you so much! I just know that whomever asks for a pianist next
will just adore you!”
Next thing she knew, another, very familiar fire elemental had
unexpectedly greeted them; earning the dark flamed one a sudden
gasp.
“COLE?!” Fia squeaked and with a sudden burst of
energy she leapt from her seat, closed the gap between them
rather quickly before quite literally tackling into him. The
pink elemental seemed to have squealed with joy as she brought
him into a big bear hug and affectionately nuzzled the side of
his face – to which, even more harmless sparks and
fireworks were set off,
“OhmygoshColeithasbeensolongwherehaveyoubeenwhathaveyoubee

she prattled on in a single breath before, only just now taking
a moment to breathe again and look at the other two monsters
accompanying him.
First she zipped towards Cherry, took her free hand that
wasn’t holding onto the cheetah’s and shook it
excitedly, “Hi there! I’m Fia! Cole’s cousin!
You’re Cherry right? Cole’s told me all about you!
You’re his
pink-egg-hot-headed-courageous-sassy-passionate-and-determined
friend who wants in on being in the Royal Guard some day, if I
recall him telling me correctly?”
Should Cherry choose to reply, Fia would wait courteously for
her answer before zipping on over to Gust and too shook his free
hand, “Aaaaand you’re Gust, right? You’re
another friend of his – the
speedy-egg-who’s-confident-thrill-seeking-courageous-and-f
ree-spirited
one who loves steak and ribs! It’s really, super-duper
awesome to meet you both, finally!”
The pink fire elemental paused for a moment to look back at the
other firey monster, “Wait… why do you keep
describing them as eggs?” she questioned with a quizzical
flicker of her flames.
