"Is he out on a date? Well I'll be! Ole slowpoke managed to
score a gold fish; what's she like?"He placed a small lollipop
in his mouth, his back leaning on the counter. "Family's a'ight,
coming through town, doing a lil sight seeing before we go on
the move again. You could say we're nomads." He pulled out his
sucker to adjust his sun glasses, then popped it back in his
mouth. "If Gust is here may as well park it, haven't seen the
lil guy in eons."

Cinnamon would laugh before shaking her head. "Not quite, but
they did go on a date earlier in the week~ " She'd then smile at
the thought of Cherry, "She's wonderful once you get to know
her, a little hot headed but very passionate and caring."
The unibunny watched the cheetah with his lollipop. "Sounds like
you're all pretty busy, but at least you're enjoying the sights
that the Underground has to offer." She wondered why they didn't
bring Gust with them, or go much out of their way to find him
again. "You and your family are all welcome to come by here any
time you like also!" she'd add. Maybe if they did visit, she
could work out the answer.
When he decided to stay in wait for Gust, Cinnamon would bounce
over the desk to address him face first. "Well then, have a
seat! Make yourself comfortable. Can I get you anything to eat
or drink while we wait for them to return?"

He slumped down on a chair, squirting a drip of hair gel to
smooth his hair. "I dunno if that's possible ma'am. We gotta get
going pretty soon, wouldn't be right for all of us to crash
here." He chewed his lollipop, then flung the stem in the trash.
"I'll just park here til Gust comes back so we can pick him up."

"Oh! Of course." Cinnamon tapped her lips as she glanced aside
in thought. Of course, the cheetahs were always on the move.
Gust seemed to never like standing still for one thing at least.
'Pick him up'
Pick him up? What did he mean, pick him up? They were going to
take Gust with them? Did Gust want that? Had she made a deep
mistake in bringing up Gust at all to this cheetah?
"P-pick him up? But..." Her nose wiggled as her little rabbit
heart beat against her chest, seemingly she was starting to get
a bit panicked, as rabbits do when faced with a panic type
situation. "But Gust-"
BAM!
The door to the shop opened, and Cherry came back inside. "Do
NOT bring that up right now, Spots. I don't want Mu-" She bumped
right into the other cheetah in the shop, or at least, into the
chair he had slumped into. She glanced at Breeze, then at Gust,
and then looked at Cinnamon, who was panicked so much you could
basically see her heart beating out of her chest in fright.
"Umm... Hi? Who are you?"

"Man, you should've seen the look on-" Eyes enlarged, jaw
plopped on the hard surface, blueish grey eyes locked into those
sunglasses, sunglasses he hasn't seen in a decade. His brother
possessed those same feelings simultaneously.
"BREEZE!!"
"GUST!!"
The cheetah duo darted to each other to embrace in a very long
bro hug.
"I missed ya so much bro! It's been forever..." his voice
cracked, ready to cry.
"Mighty corn flakes, ya gotten taller, lookin' just like paps! I
almost thought you were gone for good..."
The pair continued to hug for a while, and soft purring could be
heard from the both of them.

While the two hugged, Cherry closed the door behind Gust and
then went over to Cinnamon. Breeze was a bit too busy to answer
exactly who he was but he kind of answered it with Gust anyway.
Obviously, the two were brothers.
Cherry remembered how important Gust's family seemed to be to
Gust so she wouldn't interrupt the hug between the two. When she
got closer to Cinnamon, the bunny would pull a bowl out from
under the counter top and held it up to Cherry to cover her
face, shielding it from her.
Cherry looked at the bowl before taking it. It was kind of odd
that she was handing her what was obviously Gust's snack bowl,
as it had his favourite in it. Had Cinnamon given her the wrong
bowl? She stared at the food drenched in sauce before looking at
the two brothers when they started purring...
That was kinda cute, so she held her breath and tried not to
smile too much.
Once they'd had a fair amount of time to hug, Cherry would then
speak up, starting by clearing her throat. "Aah, hi! Gust has
been telling me a bit about you. I'm Cherry. I'm Gust's gi-"
She'd pause and look at Gust, going a little red. "Uhhh... girl
friend. You know, a girl, that's a friend." She was getting
sweaty so she decided to change the topic focus. "It's nice to
meet you finally! Do you uh- Can I help you with anything?"
she'd ask as she held the bowl out to Gust.

Once the brother's vision laid on Cherry clearing her throat to
speak, he broke the hug and zoomed over towards her, revealing
he also has super speed.
He whistled. "A fine catch ya got here nugget, a gold fish if I
ever see one, she is uh--" he zoomed to her left examining her
hair.
"A little uh--" he zoomed back to her right, examining her small
stature.
"On the pink side" he noted, poking her straw.
He zipped back to the chair to comb his hair. "Anyway, me and
the fam is coming to town sight seeing. I came here to score
some hair gel to groove out my hair til I met you Gust." He
adjusted his sunglasses.
"Are you saying mom and dad are here!?
"You betcha, wanna go see them before we leave?"
"Are you kidding, course I would; let's go!" he jumped in
excitement, finally getting the chance to meet his family again.

Cherry jumped a little as the other cheetah zoomed over, looked
like it ... ran in the genes.
When he looked her up and down, examining her like that, she'd
stick out her lower lip in a pout and would give him a look
before looking at Gust. That is until her straw was poked.
"Hey!" she'd bark. "Don't touch that..." she'd add, narrowing
her eyes lightly, but she tried to remain kind, as he was Gust's
family. "Nugget huh?" She'd manage a smirk at Gust at the
nickname his brother had for him. Was being a little on the pink
side, a good thing to Breeze? Or...?
When his parents were brought up, Cherry paused, looking down at
the bowl. Gust hadn't taken it, it was his favourite, but. Well,
his family was more important. Cherry understood. "H-hey Gust?"
She'd put a paw on his shoulder, they only just got back home-
well, to her home, she thought maybe here was home to Gust too,
but that was wishful thinking that simply wasn't true.
She wanted to say more, she had a lot she wanted to say
actually, but he was homesick, and he looked so happy at the
thought of seeing his real family again. "Tell them I said hi,"
she would say instead, gently gripping his shoulder and giving a
forced smile before letting him go. Cherry would walk over to
the door and would pull it open and hold it open for the
cheetahs. Cinnamon standing beside her. He was just going to go
see them right? No big deal. "Well, what're ya waiting for? Go
out there and see em."
Cinnamon would put a paw to her heart, still looking anxious.
"You'll be back before dinner, right my dear?"

When Cinnamon asked that question, his heart was taking a
sorrowful bullet. Would he choose to stay and be with Cherry or
leave with his family after his everlasting journey came to a
close? "..........I-" Ears dropped.
"Don't just stand there, get a move on!" Breeze pushed his
younger brother out the door.
The other cheetahs were waiting outside the shop; a few carried
souvenirs, others didn't.
Storm:"What is taking that hair loving doofus so long?!" one
brother spat. He looked just like Gust, only distinguished by a
seemingly permanent scowl with red eyes, a metallic fist
necklace instead of a cloud one, wearing ripped jeans, steel
toed boots, and a red t-shirt
Mom:"Be nice to your brother dear, we had to wait 20 minutes to
order a punching bag." The mother was an older cheetah sporting
tan shorts, white flip flops and a rainbow shirt.
Storm:"It shouldn't take a freakin' decade to get some freakin'
hair gel!"
Dad:"Your mother told you to be nice, do what she says. You keep
frowning like that, your face will get stuck."
The red-eyed one continued to pout.
Bolt:"Buuusted..."
Storm:"Shut up."
The cheetah duo exited the shop, Breeze slugging an arm around
the more zany of brothers.
Dad;"What took you so long son, where have you been?"
Breeze:"LOOK WHO I FOUND!" he grinned, presenting their lost
son.
Gust:"Hi Mom, Dad, it-its's me..." he smiled.
Mom:"Gust? .....Oh my heavens! GUST! Wow he looks just like
you!" She turned to her husband excitedly.
Dad:"Come give us a big ol hug!"
With instinct Gust embraced his whole family into a group hug,
filled with purrs and nuzzles.
Dad:"Goodness you're all grown up, almost as tall as your big
bro."
Streak:"Where yo been mon?"
Gust:"It's a looong story."

Cherry held up a paw as Gust was shoved out the door by Breeze,
but again, Breeze was family and she was not. So she let him go.
She wanted to know what Gust was going to say though...
When they exited, Cherry and Cinnamon watched from the doorway,
surprised to see that the others of the cheetah family where
already there. The two glanced at each other again before
watching the cat family interact with each other.
Cherry mainly watched the father, as Gust had talked about him a
lot and inspired to be like him, he was who he wanted to be as
fast as afterall. Seeing the two together, the mother was kinda
right in saying they looked alike, except of course, the Dad was
taller and older. Looking at him kinda... Brought in future
thoughts, and Cherry would find that Cinnamon would give her a
nudge to stop her from biting down too hard on her lower lip.
Watching the cheetahs hug and purr, Cherry would put a finger to
her lips, looking aside, she wondered where her dad was, she
looked nothing like Cinnamon, so she must get her looks from her
Dad, right? Where was he? Did she have siblings like Gust has,
that she just didn't know about? She wasn't sure, Cinnamon
tended to avoid answering those types of questions.
When Gust said it was a long story when asked where he'd been,
Cherry chose to speak up, biting her lower lip nervously again
as she approached the cats. "Um" She'd clear her throat,
straightening herself up for confidence. "He's been with us! Me
n Mumma" She'd point back to the doorway where the short
unibunny stayed. She didn't raise a paw to wave though, she was
actually looking aside, like she was lost in her thoughts.
"We looked after him dont worry, lots of Steak n Ribs and all
that good stuff, aheheh" She'd rub behind her head with one
hand, keeping the other to hold the bowl.
She didn't know what to say to them... To Gust.
"It's nice to uh.. Finally meet you! Gust has told me a bit
about you, especially you" She'd look up at the tallest Cheetah,
feeling herself begin to sweat. She was scared of what may come
next.
She gave a wonky smile to Gust, nudging her head back to the
gingerbread hut they'd just came from, before holding a paw out
to his family, "I'm Cherry, I'm uh- A close friend, of Gust's
aheh"
