       Family: Father: Daeron Thyssen- A veteran of the Great War, the
       grizzled old commander died shortly after arriving in the
       
       Underground.
       Mother: Rhaella
       Thyssen- A frontline nurse, she met Hanalea's father when both
       were placed in the initial vanguard of
       
       defense. Still alive, current whereabouts
       unknown.
       Personality: Quiet and reserved, Hanalea has little existing
       ties to her fellow monsters, and is often not seen in town for
       whole weeks on end. Prefers the company of a good book and a
       warm hearth to that of another, but can warm up quickly to those
       that care to get to know her.
       Background: Born a few months after the barrier was first
       sealed, Hanalea never saw the outside world that her mother
       pined for and her father died for. She always grew up wondering
       about it, however, and consistently haunted the caverns nearest
       the barrier, trying to catch a glimpse of what was so special
       about this world she had never known. Eventually, she gave up,
       and moved on, unlike her mother, who was barely capable of
       keeping herself alive, let alone raising a child in such a harsh
       and inhospitable realm. Hanalea journeyed through the entire
       Underground before finally settling in Snowdin, as she loved the
       constant state of snow and cold. Rarely leaving her cabin on the
       edge of town, she mostly prefers the company of her vast
       collection of books, some even dating from before the Great War
       itself.
       Magic/Power: Cryomancy
       Hanalea harnesses the power of the cold in her own unique style,
       her magic producing purple crystalline ice. As well as
       controlling existing ice, she has the ability to create her own
       from seemingly thin air, by rearranging the atmosphere's
       molecular structure, condensation making the air heavy with
       water vapor, eventually hardening into ice. In addition, she
       finds herself immune to the frost and cold entirely.
