Part III: Seeing The Light
By: The Koray Date: April 16, 2017, 12:59 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
((This thread is recommended for characters whom have a motive
to rescue the remaining children or transporting Trinity's
family heirlooms.))
((Welcome to the finale of the arc! I understand that it would
be too much pressure to finish up prior threads first, so I have
decided to not make it essential to do so. You may finish up
prior threads at your own time but please do not create any new
ones in between those and the finale ones for characters
involved in the arc. This is of course set after all previous
RPs. ))
[[Important: Originally when I planned this Arc
months ago, I intended for the finale to happen in one thread
where everyone gathers together with what they have learned and
the allies they have formed to face the challenges which lie
ahead. However, due to the number of participants I have divided
Part III into 3-4 threads so that it could be managed easier
without it turning into a confusing shitstorm of posts. Not only
that, I have also created a means so that all characters will be
actively aware of what is happening in all other threads which
will occur simultaneously. You will see what I mean once you
start reading. ;) Also, as a side-note, I also originally
planned some puzzles and riddles for you lot to solve to help
strengthen your friendships but you've already had a couple of
months to bond and for me to have a good idea of what your
characters are like. So, without further adieu, I'm cutting out
all the filler and we will dive right into the thicket of
things! Thank you and good luck! I have up-most confidence in
all of you that you will do well, despite the steep challenges
and bombshells which await you. 8)]]
Things were almost ready for whatever preparation Lady Trinity
had in mind. The Koray were present by the dozens, surrounding a
large cube-like container measuring at around ten metres by ten
metres. It had dark metal walls and was locked up really tight.
The Koray stopped for a moment to take a breather at another
larger entrance to the mines from the journey of transporting it
from Snowdin all the way to Waterfall.

After taking a short break about a dozen werebeasts gathered
around the massive, square-shaped cargo and took their places in
two rows in front of it; very much in a similar fashion to sled
dogs pulling a sleigh. The cargo looked like it was big enough
to fit a dozen or so monsters in it and was rather sturdy and
heavy-looking. If there was any noise coming from within - say,
perhaps chairs falling over or banging against the walls - it
wouldn't be heard from the outside; however, if anyone were to
be inside they may hear muffled voices from the outside.
"Weren't we supposed to wait for the spider lady?" one of the
dozen asked his fellow Koray beside him as they slowly heaved
the cargo down a tunnel.
"She should arrive soon, maybe, but we're in a bit of a hurry
right now. If she's still coming she can catch up. The Shyren is
already down there with Aristide."
"Think she will be able to call upon him a second time?"
"I hope not, means I get to cut in line instead."
"Cut in line?"
"Yanno, for a wish. I hear that Aristide is feeling
particularly... 'generous' today. He is willing to grant just
about anyone a wish."
"Given a price of course."
"Who cares about the cost when you have the potential to wish
for anything you want?!"
"Every wish he grants makes him stronger, doesn't it?"
"That's what I've heard. I guess that may be why he makes such a
big deal about 'a fair trade'."
They continued to press forward, dwindling shadows consuming
them as they went; leaving behind the entrance to the tunnel and
the rain from the clouds beyond the surface t their wake.
"What's in there anyway?"
"What? The cargo?"
"Yeah."
"Family Heirlooms of Lady Trinity of course - antique chairs and
hand-made hammocks... and some other things."
"Why would Trinity want Heirlooms down there?"
"You're asking me? I'm just in it to get close enough to
Aristide for a wish."

Suddenly the ground quaked, shaking the rocky walls violently
and some rocks started to fall from the higher levels. To a
point where it almost threatened to collapse the tunnel from
it's might. If one were to look up through gaps in the tunnel
they may start to notice long green vines with veins of red
pulsing through them were aggressively climbing the outer walls
until it reached the fissure at the ceiling. The aggression was
rather primal as it clawed it's way near the top despite not
even coming anywhere near close to leaving a mark on the barrier
above; which looked pristine as ever. Instead, said vines
gathered at an accelerated rate; coiling into knots and pressing
up against the barrier, hungrily absorbing as much as light from
between the depressing clouds above as it rained. Soon after,
golden flowers started to sprout from said vines above by the
hundreds; blooming before their eyes. They too, did their best
to reach for the heavens.
The ground shook again, just as soon as the vines had decided
that it would be more 'efficient' to press themselves at either
side of the fissure; slowly and roughly prying open fissure to
become even more wider.

The large chamber they were in had three other tunnels leading
to complete darkness. There were two, very clear, large stone
slabs buried into the walls which lit up like a television
screens to show two other chambers designed in a similar
fashion. One of the slabs revealed Trinity, Link, Sprite and
some canine guards approaching a steep drop to what appeared to
be a 'bottomless pit' with some items in their hands. If one
were to listen hard enough, they could hear the flower's
monologue and the skeleton's intteruption. The other slab,
currently showed an empty chamber of similar fashion and a
silhouette of something large and square approaching it from one
of the tunnels.

How did she end up here... question Sakura asked herself many
times as she looked at the walls around her. After her encounter
with Papyrus, Sakura continued her investigation with the
strange vines that spreaded throughout the underground. With her
knowledge about that children and what they were used for still
bothered the kissune greatly.Even now the thought still haunted
her. AT any rate, she was here now and she was gonna finish
this. Unknown to her the bigger picture that was going on here.
What mattered was finding those who were captured and saving
them.
Suddenly the ground beneath her began to shake violently. What
was happening? When she looked up, the vines from before looked
even stronger than before. They were making their way to the
crack celling and....expanding the gap? These plants were not
normal at all. Something was certainly wrong...she could feel
it.
Taking a deep breath, she descended into the darkness of the
tunnel." No turning back now i guess..." she said to herself as
she looked at the slab that showed the large square containment
unit. Sakura didn't know those people on the other screen and
thus made no effort to head in that direction. But was that the
right choice....nobody knows.

Gust arrived to the scene traveling very fast on foot, his
companions Cinnamon and Cole are riding on the clouds he made to
keep up with his speed, Cherry has been on his mind for the
entire trip, its the very reeason why he is able to keep going
and push forword into his goal.....only with no sense of
direction.
He kept running running running...the flora representing the
strange new evironment warping into a dark tunnel entrance, he
ran so fast he didnt even pay attention to where is is going.
Zooming right past Sakura leaving behind a speed trail, he
pulled the brakes on his footwear grind to a halt. He studied
his own whereabouts around him, he noticed an army of Koray
making a formation around a cube like chamber. he is definatly
not outside anymore..He overheard thier conversation, rambling
about the names Trinity, Aristide, something about making a wish
to get anything you want..and other trivial subjects.
From what he can gather it sounds like, they are about to meet
up with a genie to get a free wish, who heck are those people?
"!!" Started by a ground trembling noice, more vines and flowers
appeared, a crack rung in his ears, are the mines collasping?
No...the source came from outside, the fissure expanding to a
greater length, the old traces of the underground seemingly
vanished, they are entering into a new world.
"Maaan, that didnt sound pleasent, Cherry has got to be in here
somwhere, whatever this place is, I've got to hurry.."he
muttered. He begins to walk, he stepped into a path of darkness
and stops once again, only to hear monaloging and motion
pictures of Sprite, Link, and Trinty displayed on stone slabs.
what they had in common is that it felt familiar to him,
regarding Sprite, Link and the voice of Flowey.
"Hoodie? What is he doing here, why is we with that guy from the
shop from earlier?" he spoke.
Flowey: "Howdy! It's ME, Flowey. Flowey the Flower. I owe some
of you a HUGE thanks. You did a real number on the ol' ceiling.
HeeHeeHee~ Without you, Gust, Sprite and Luka, I would have
never been able to create a fissure across the WHOLE
Underground! But now, with YOUR help, we have all this sunlight!
And I have discovered a NEW way to use my Determination~
Hehehehehahaha!
"Boy, I've been bored for so long. It feels GREAT to have
Anomalies running around in the timeline this time. Mmmm, the
possibilities are just too exciting!" "Awww. You have no idea
what I'm talking about do you? Well that's just perfect! After
all, Anomalies are only exciting when they aren't predictabl-
plegh!"
Sans: "Geez, will ya 'put a sock in it' already?" "Did you
honestly expect us to just stand here and listen to you crap on
for lord knows how long? And wasn't that just a modified speech
from the last time? If you're going to start monologuing, the
very least you could do was come up with a new one." "I guess
old habits die hard. Say, you don't have your gross nectar on
that slipper do you? 'Cause I'm gonna need that back. Those
things are comfy."
"Pedals...what is going on here?.."he didn't know what to think,
the way Flowey gave compliments to himself and the rest who
aided with the ceiling.....it sounded...malicious...like he was
being used...

Deception, it's power is so vile that it truly is difficult to
comprehend. That fleeting feeling of hope, believing that
everything you had tirelessly given was going to pay off,
suddenly becomes meaningless. The very moment that Red had
watched the doors seal, she was silent. The screams of fear and
anguish that had clawed through her eardrums were nothing but a
dull hum as she would fall to her knees, contemplating the
futility of the situation. The proud and determined hero that
hand been standing just a few minutes prior would stare
hopelessly towards the ceiling. They had taken it all away....
and she was too stupid to have seen such a tactic coming. The
worst trait of hope is it's blinding influence to cloud the
reality that you are so desperately trying to combat.
She really was just an ignorant kid.
"It's time to move 'em out!"
An inferno would brew inside Red as she heard that voice, her
pupils constricting as the unadulterated rage would swell in her
soul. Malice and hatred, two of the most vile emotions, began
stirring deep within her. A small amount of dust would spill
from her palms as her claws began puncturing her skin, her teeth
practically cracking as she scowled ferociously. It was her, she
had done this. The White Huntress. Red rose to her feet,
staggering as her skin crawled, stumbling past Marver and Cherry
as she leaned against the wall, shuddering. The raw emotion felt
toxic. The better part of Red knew that it was sickening, but
the rest finally admitted that she didn't care.
There was nothing she wanted more in this world than to
eviscerate that woman.
"You won't get the satisfaction.....you're
mine." Red moaned, staring to the metal wall as she did
her best to listen.
The young stag beetle, Stanley, could watch in horror at her
reaction, the sheer emotional state of the hero causing him to
feel uneasy. With tears in his eyes, he crawled over to Marver
and Cherry, tugging desperately at the dragonness's paw. "I...I
don't know what to do, Miss Red, she needs help... I... I'm
scared. M-Marver, C-Cherry, I...."
The sound of crackling rock was loud enough for the entire cube
to hear, even causing Red to break from her seething. Something
big had just happened.
"....We've always had a plan... right? We shouldn't stop
now...right? There's got to be something we can do... right?"

The sodashark went a bit limp as the doors closed behind them
and the room they thought lead to there way out soon became
another prison. A moving one that was bringing them to who knows
where... The fitting key still in the doorknob, Cherry stared at
it for a few moments, giving it a few jiggles and attempted
turns, hoping with all her heart that it would turn and unlock
the door and that they would really be free. But of course with
no success. Her eyes would drop to the floor...
She thought she'd helped.
That she'd saved these poor kids and her newfound friends.
That she'd make Undyne proud.
Cherry would close her eyes, everything told her to just quit
now, that, that was as good as she could do, that there was
nothing else she could do, she had failed in helping the others
even though she had been given the chance to. Getting to the
door had been too easy, she should've seen it coming, should've
been more cautious..
She would look at the heroine helmet she held between her paws.
Undyne had believed in her enough to entrust her with an
important part of her armour...
...Give up?
No, not yet, not today. She had a promise to keep and young
lives to save.
Cherry would look to Stanley as he teared up and tugged on
Marver's paw, wandering over with a rather guilty, beaten look
on her face, Cherry would kneel down, setting Undyne's helmet
down beside her and opening her arms to the young stag beetle,
"I.. It's okay, it's alright to be scared, we all are.. but.."
She would look around the room before back to the young beetle,
"But we still have each other.. Y-yeah! That's right! There's
always a way! We can't give up!" She would say, carefully
putting her hands around Stanley, she'd hoist him into the air,
catching him and spinning him around to help cheer him up before
she'd set him back down, ruffling one of her hands against the
top of his head gently before scooping the helmet back up.
Emptying it of the items she'd collected by carefully taking
them out and setting them down in a corner before wandering over
to Red, gently putting a hand on her shoulder comfortingly.
"Miss Red?" She's say softly, trying to get her attention before
looking to her hero's helmet again. She wanted to wear it, to
wear it and feel brave like Undyne!
Raising her hands to bring the helmet up, Cherry would lift it
and place it upon Red's head, smiling at her before giving a
brave face, "This was a surprise to all of us, but we can't give
in, we need your help, there must be some way out of here, we
will find it" She assured her, taking in a deep breath before
letting the breath out. "Let's show them what we're made of"

Marver stared wide-eyed in disbelief at the metal wall in front
of them; shortly after that they were not only imprisoned once
again, but were also moving. he dragoness shook her head before
letting out a little roar in defiance and starting attacking the
wall with a series of strikes from the glass. The glass
shattered with each hit, doing little-to-no damage with every
hit. How could glass break metal? With every failed strike,
Marver would py particular attention to the glass so it would
not fall onto anyone and accidentally cutting them.
The young dragoness didn't stop her futile attempts until she
felt a fair of small hands tug at one of her own and she in turn
would turn around with a small gasp of surprise. With the little
shards of glass floating above her, she listened to the beetle's
pleas and Cherry's encouragement and took a few steps towards
them.
"Cherry is right." she piped up, offering a smile and when the
helmet was placed over her head, Marver attempted a
less-than-disciplined salute, "We cannot give up! We have come
this far! We have to keep fighting! Ngaaaa!"
Undyne's helmet would rattle gently over Red's head for a short
time before stopping.

Forcusing on the task at hand, eyes pushing in various
directions, Cherry where are you, "If I were a pink sharkfish
monster with a straw on my head, where would I be." he ponderd,
a claw pressed against his chin.
If he cant find her the old fashion way, perhaps he could ask
those Koray for help, better yet WIISH her here if thier
conversation held any merit. Deciding to change the course of
his path, he approached them with neither aggression nor without
caution. He took a deep breath and placed two fingers in his
mouth to whisle to get thier attention.
"Hi, have you seen a girl named Cherry?, she is about my height,
is pink like cherry blossums, has a straw on her head, sexy-
errm I mean has long legs and smells like heaven?" he asked
using his hands to describe her. ....did he really just say that
out loud?
