Part III: Wishing For A Miracle
By: Lady Trinity Date: April 16, 2017, 12:48 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
((This thread is recommended for characters whom have interacted
with Trinity or have gotten word that a dangerous entity is
present and has the ability to grant any wish and the wanted to
be there - be it for selfish reasons or to try and stop him from
being summoned. This thread has a fairly significant impact on
the arc since any wish can be granted to the right characters.))
((Welcome to the finale of the arc! I understand that it would
be too much pressure to finish up prior threads first, so I have
decided to not make it essential to do so. You may finish up
prior threads at your own time but please do not create any new
ones in between those and the finale ones for characters
involved in the arc. This is of course set after all previous
RPs. ))
[[Important: Originally when I planned this Arc
months ago, I intended for the finale to happen in one thread
where everyone gathers together with what they have learned and
the allies they have formed to face the challenges which lie
ahead. However, due to the number of participants I have divided
Part III into 3-4 threads so that it could be managed easier
without it turning into a confusing shitstorm of posts. Not only
that, I have also created a means so that all characters will be
actively aware of what is happening in all other threads which
will occur simultaneously. You will see what I mean once you
start reading. ;) Also, as a side-note, I also originally
planned some puzzles and riddles for you lot to solve to help
strengthen your friendships but you've already had a couple of
months to bond and for me to have a good idea of what your
characters are like. So, without further adieu, I'm cutting out
all the filler and we will dive right into the thicket of
things! Thank you and good luck! I have up-most confidence in
all of you that you will do well, despite the steep challenges
and bombshells which await you. 8)]]

Lady Trinity was deep in the mines, surrounded by her usual four
canine guards wielding battle axes and pikes. The two guards of
Rottweiler ethnicity were in front of her, as usual, with stern
expressions and bared fangs as they watched over her
protectively; and the other two, dopey-eyed Alaskan Malamutes
panted rather cheerfully behind Trinity - they often looked
around them excitedly. The Shyren held a golden, teapot-shaped
Genie Lamp in her hands before turning to look at the other
guard dressed in green she had hired before. She had asked him
to carry the cylindrical canister which had been created by the
Scientist to perfect completion and the urn containing her
father's Dust, "I am so ever impressed that the Scientists were
able to make this a reality in just a week! Can you believe it
Link, I can finally honor my father's death... and much more."
she commented to him as they walked, "I have been told by a
friend that we will have someone accompany us to help us. His
name is Sprite, and apparently, there are monsters out there
whom either want to prevent me from summoning Aristide once
again. We cannot let that happen. I have heard that this Sprite
fellow will help you prevent anyone whom might try and get in
our way."
Little did Trinity know that Flowey had asked Sprite to help
prevent the Genie from being killed for their own gain. When the
time is right, either one of them could make a wish from the
Genie.

As Link walked along side the Shyren his thoughts turned to her
health. "Mi Lady while I'm pleased your ambitions are about to
be realized I'm concerned for your health. Please I beg of you
take the medicine and potions I have brought back for you, they
will provide strength and stability for the trails ahead. I will
serve as your shield during this en devour but you must ensure
you are of sound body and mind. If this is as important to you
as you claim it to you will drink those potions, also I'm not
giving you back this canister until you do." He said firmly
clearly out of concern rather than disrespect.

The Shyren turned to face link as she cradled the golden lamp in
her hands; casting him a look of surprise, "Where did you..."
she began before falling silent before she thought to herself
for a moment, "You must have met Mary then. Only she and
Cinnamon know about those potions... I thank you Sir Link, for
being prompt with delivering these to my sisters and I."
Elloise Trinity then approached Link and planted a gentle kiss
to his cheek as she reached into his satchel to retrieve the
four potions he had for her. She drank the first one swiftly,
for it helped replenish the lost magic in her body from being
drained; Trinity then took the second one and slowly drained the
bottle for it helped moderate the amount of magic being drained
from her at a steady pace without her passing out. The third she
held at an arm's length away from her with a scrunched up,
snobby expression before taking a deep breath and wolfed down -
this will come in handy for her later, so that she may rest well
when sleeping tonight and keep her body stable from ingesting
the first two potions within such a short time frame. When she
looked to the last potion, one of her Rottweiler guards glanced
over and grumbled, "If I may, Milady, that only delays the
inevitable."
"Maybe not if I can convince Aristide." she countered before
draining this bottle too of its contents.
Elloise shuddered and coughed for a moment, feeling the effects
of the potions take place. Her body shook violently and her
dress started to... swirl? Turning from white fabric to dripping
white ooze and tiny little gems clattered onto the floor as they
fell off. A half-formed face pushed out from the goo, mouth
agape and letting out a pained groan. Sounds of bones bending
and cracking clicked about the Shyren's body, her Agent twisting
and churning until she had a more hunched over figure.
A singular large yellow eye on Trinity's shoulder formed and
stared unblinkingly at Link; irs deformed mouth hanging off
somewhere else ontop of Elloise's Agent, "Ohhh~ So this is the
gentleman who has been helping us? A pleasure in finally being
able to speak with you, Sir Link." the voice gurgled, stretching
out a dripping, slimed arm towards link for a weak handshake, "I
am Aceline Trinity."
The Agent twitched, causing for what was left of Aceline's body
to slosh and drip everywhere; it moved using gestures as she
spoke, but the voice echoed from the glowing Lure on Elloise's
head, "
"Bonjour, je m'appelle Berdine Trinity. Merci de bien vouloir."
"Sir Link..." Elloise gasped, "These are my sisters, I am sure
you would have heard about them if you knew about the potions.
This is what is left of the Trinity Family; an Amalgamated
disgrace... all thanks to your dear friend Dr Alphys." she said
with fire in her voice.

Link knelt in the presence of all three ladies lowering his
head. He looked upon their sorry states and offered a gentle
smile. "A disgrace is something you and your sisters could never
be Mi Lady. You've had the nobility to risk everything in order
to help your family, where I come from that's what we call a
hero. To me all three of you are beautiful not because of your
body but because of your bond. I do agree however you cannot
continue living like this. I will do everything in my power to
see the Trinity sisters each returned to perfect health." When
the dog dared to interrupt Trinity Link back handed the beast as
hard as he could. "You speak when spoken to mutt." He scolded
then shield bashing the monster in disguise down. "All of you
are to leave us. I don't want people I can't trust near The Lady
while something this important is happening. Leave!" He demanded
firmly giving a glare. When Trinity said Alphys was behind this
mess Link froze. "Surely you are mistaken Mi Lady? Alphys, saved
my life."

A chilling mist began to creep through the mine as a hooded
figure began to quietly walk towards the group, it's face
shrouded beneath it's hood as it's hands remained concealed in
his pockets. The temperature became mildly chilly, but nothing
unbearable. It stopped before a gaze of glowing blue irises with
pitch black sclera would look towards the group beneath it's
hood. The would be greeted with a small toothy grin. Yet,
despite this cheerful expression... a certain pressure was in
the air. It grew a bit heavier, as what little light they had
dampened a bit. The fresh mist wafting from his form was
potent... and strong. The puck had been busy these past few
days.
Sprite would snap his fingers as he shuffled his feet and spun
on his heels, pointing towards the group with a curious
expression. "... Hey..uh..howdy. My best friend told me you
would need some help... I don't know you guys very well, but I
trust him so...yeah...hey..I'm Sprite."
The seemingly grotesque appearance of Trinity caused the puck to
blink, yet it was not of disgust. "Oh." He rubbed the back of
his head. "I uh... hope this isn't a bad time.. not trying
interrupt anything." He would look Link, the Koray, then finally
Trinity. "But... I guess I'm here... and stuff. Though like...
hm... you've got some help already it looks like, well... I mean
before that guy said for them to bail." He pointed to Link,
raising his brows a bit. "I think I should be okay though, I
mean... I think I'm pretty good at what I do." He felt himself
smirk a tad at that.
"But uhm... didn't mean to talk so much...I'm here." The puck
slowly crossed his arms as he leaned against the wall, gazing at
them all carefully. "Nice green by the way, are you cosplaying
as a human, that's trying to cosplay as a puck? Dang, that's
pretty meta to be honest." Sprite looked to Link giving him a
"not bad" facial expression as he nodded.

Suddenly the ground quaked, shaking the rocky walls violently
and some rocks started to fall from the higher levels. To a
point where it almost threatened to collapse the chamber they
were in from it's might. If one were to look up to see long
green vines with veins of red pulsing through them were
aggressively climbing the outer walls until it reached the
fissure at the ceiling.
The aggression was rather primal as it clawed it's way near the
top despite not even coming anywhere near close to leaving a
mark on the barrier above; which looked pristine as ever.
Instead, said vines gathered at an accelerated rate; coiling
into knots and pressing up against the barrier, hungrily
absorbing as much as light from between the depressing clouds
above as it rained. Soon after, golden flowers started to sprout
from said vines above by the hundreds; blooming before their
eyes. They too, did their best to reach for the heavens.
The ground shook again, just as soon as the vines had decided
that it would be more 'efficient' to press themselves at either
side of the fissure; slowly and roughly prying open fissure to
become even more wider.

I left the resto-bar as soon as possible to investigate the
situation. This has never happened before, and certainly
unlikely that it will happened, but it did. My curiosity got the
best of me, and I gave in to find out what's the cause of this
mystery. Being giddy all about it wasn't helping but it did
motivate me to. I went out and took a weird looking futuristic
wand from the left side pocket of my waiter pants, or rather my
improvised scanner with me and started to find clues.
The sun shined down, it was the first time in a long time that I
felt its rays hit me and fill me with vigor and strength. The
last time it did, was the during the war. It took me an hour to
figure some of the clues. But what strikes me the most is that
the fissures weren't at all caused by natural forces, but it was
physical. As if someone decided to rip it apart forcefully. I
took my scanner and turned it on to scan for any energy pickups.
Funny though, the signal that I kept getting from my scanner was
pointing to the direction of the abandoned mineshaft. The
mineshaft was abandoned for an unknown reason, most of the
rumors or folklores that I've heard from people is that
something lives there, something terrible, something EVIL. Of
course, I checked it out. But nothing was there and thought
maybe some crazy idiot mine worker hallucinated from the
tremolite asbestos that contaminated the mines. The mine was
full of asbestos. Not so sure about it this time.
So I decided to take a risk and entered. I checked the walls, it
seemed to be void of asbestos. Which is good, better if there
aren't any dripping water here. My scanner took me down further
into the cave, 'It must be close.' I thought to myself.
The mines were difficult to navigate through without light, lots
of rocky paths, steep trails, and a whole bunch of holes and
gaps but thanks to my flame and a flashlight option for my
scanner, it wasn't difficult to see the pathways and avoid the
dangers.
Suddenly I arrived at a forked road. Two pathways. The scanner
pointed to both ways, meaning both ways lead to where the energy
source is located. I decided to take the right path. But as soon
as I took a few steps inside the right path, I heard familiar
voices echoing around the walls. 'No fair! They started without
me!'
I briskly walked through a corner and fortunately first saw
Trinity and her guards in the mines talking to Greeny. "Ah!" I
exclaimed, "Trinity! What are you doing he---" As soon as I did
turn around the corner and saw full view of the scene, there was
a white ooze on the ground with a face, Trinity has an eye on
her shoulder... And something else that I can't explain.
"Well... I guess I don't have to pay for free Nightmare Fuel
then... "

Elloise smiled as she placed a hand to her cheek bashfully
whilst her sisters attempted mutilated smiles of their own.
"I like him. This one truly understands respect when it's needed
for the Trinity family." chimed one of the sisters.
With one of the guards caught 'off-guard' and sustaining quite a
bit of damage, the other three quickly leapt into action. The
first, being one of the dopey Alaskan Malamutes placed a large,
fuzzy paw firmly on Link's shield to prevent him from beating
the guard to death; casting him a pleading look with a whine and
tilt of his head. The other Malamute, helped the severely
injured canine back to his feet and looked over his wounds.
The second Rottwieler then spoke thorugh bared teeth, "I
understand your concern but we are not here to harm or prevent
Elloise from doing what she came here to do. Quite the opposite.
Settle down, fool, we're on your side too. This is your last
warning lest you wish for the otherwise."
"I actually cannot stray too far from them I'm afraid." Elloise
Trinity piped up, "We are bound to these four until the
summoning is complete."
Her face then pulled into a look of hatred, "I am glad o hear
that your life was saved but she had promised the same to my
sisters and just look what she ended up doing to them! What has
she done to own up to her crimes? Nothing! " she protested.
The Trinity sisters then turned to face Sprite, whom had just
arrived, and Elloise clasped her hands together, "Oh wonderful!
Thank you for coming Sprite." he replied before shying away from
embarrassment, "Oh, erm..."
She took a deep breath before finally saying, "It is not a bad
time at all. Perfect actually while I am making preparations..."
Her attention was then brought to the firey newcomer and three
of her guards automatically took a defensive stance, "Ahh Doctor
Grillby, I am... surprised to see you! Have you been well?"
Elloise commented, trying to keep the conversation friendly.
"How dare you make sure a comment! You will do well in not
saying such insolent things!" her sister protested, feeling
offended.

The large chamber they were in had three other tunnels leading
to complete darkness. There were two, very clear, large stone
slabs buried into the walls which lit up like a television
screens to show two other chambers designed in a similar
fashion. One of the slabs revealed a chamber completely covered
with golden flowers and a group of monsters facing a boasting
flower. If one were to listen hard enough, they could hear the
flower's monologue and the skeleton's intteruption. The other
slab, currently showed an empty chamber of similar fashion and a
silhouette of something large and square approaching it from one
of the tunnels.

Ugh, the sight of Greeny ruined my day. One of the things that I
didn't need was to see him so soon.
The amalgamation's response made me a bit confused and
surprised. I was initially weirded out because I've never seen
one up close, the only I did was only through the lens of a
camera years ago. After Alphys' incident.
"Uhhh..." I muttered. "Is this new? Because well, I didn't know
that amalgamations can maintain their sanity after being
injected with Determination like what Alphys did. And who are
you exactly?" I asked.
The idea of being in front of a royalty or someone so high up
never really bothered me. I chose to ignore it.
