Re: Part III: You're Kinda Boned.
By: Zarc Tenebris Date: April 25, 2017, 6:22 am
---------------------------------------------------------
The moment Flowey made his presence known, any semblance of a
'smile' or notion of positive expression immediately faded from
Zarc's face as he looked downwards. A low growl came from the
winged monster as he grit his teeth, the
[glow=red,2,300]Sin[/glow] in this room had- in one swoop- been
amplified far beyond what he was used to feeling. He clenched
his fists, black and purple bolts flickered from his hands for a
mere fraction of a nanosecond, not enough to send any form of
'pressure' outward for people to feel. Even still, Zarc reigned
himself in. For the sake of those around him, or those that
could potentially be watching. 'No. Not yet. I won't give this
[glow=red,2,300]thing[/glow] the
[glow=red,2,300]satisfaction[/glow]...' Zarc looked up, a fierce
look in his eyes, which would glow harsher than normal. 'That it
would take by bringing out [glow=red,2,300]that[/glow] side of
me.'
Truly, Zarc believed that the entity known as Flowey was beyond
'saving'; at least beyond saving right now by Zarc's actions
alone.
The vines were seemingly autonomous, and hellbent on letting
more sunlight and rain in. That would have to change very soon.
The content displayed on the stone slabs would need to be kept
track of as well. Just what were those people holding in their
hands, going somewhere in Waterfall? What were they talking
about? Zarc wasn't able to listen incredibly closely, otherwise
that would mean his focus would end up divided. That would be
foolish. Instead he listened for the tones of voice, for the
mood of the conversation that was going on, and kept a tab on
that.
Zarc even felt as though Flowey was unworthy of the snark and
witty banter, and the things the creature said to them only
served as more fuel for the fire against him. Flowey wanted to
see what they could do? Fine. That didn't mean he would see all
that they could do. Zarc's hands opened, and within them were
charged magic bolts, grey and unassuming in colour, but it would
be clear enough that they might pack quite the wallop.
Intricately, as he brought his hands backwards, fractions of the
magic bolts would split; and then Zarc shot them forward, aiming
to counter and neutralize the pellets that would cause the most
structural damages to the room as well as provide some cover
from the ones aimed at the group. Dealing with the rest of the
pellets was up to the others.

Hara splayed her fingers out in front of her as if about to play
a piano but within a second her hand had swiped from left to
right nearly too fast to track with unskilled eyes, luckily
almost everyone in the room was skilled enough to at least catch
some movement. An array of nearly translucent instruments formed
in front of her dripping water as if she had suddenly taken
moisture from the area to form the instruments but it was
magical water. Her other hand mirrored her other hands movement
as she composed the instruments in 4/4 so they'd begin to play.
The notes came out dry, ear piercing and plain awful. Each note
was out of tone and either nowhere near the same cord as each
other or not even in the ball park of the correct one.
The horrid notes worked well for attacking and they did, their
terrible out of tune sounds as the beats wavered nearly out of
control with each other hit the pellets hard and managed to
shield Sans and Toriel as well as Gaster from the raining
pellets mixed in with the rain. Haruno's left foot went back a
step as she moved her hands steadily but speedily through the
air, continuing with a huff as she protected those she could.
The rest of the group wound have to fend for themselves. She did
snag a few for Zarc but that was about as far as she was able to
reach. She did have limits after all.

---------------------------------------------------------
With Zarc and Haruno successfully stopping a significant amount
of pellets from harming the group and minimizing the damage they
caused on the cavern's walls, Flowey seized the opportunity to
simultaneously manipulate the vines behind them to come to life
and strike.
First, a set of vines lined with red thorns reached for and
coiled around Zarc's arms and legs in attempt to restrict his
movements. The rest of the vines lashed out at the rest of the
group, attempting to cause any lasserations where possible.
Sans in turn was quick to react, slipping out of Toriel's arms
just in time for some the vines targetting him to miss. In
response, a row of about a dozen bones shot up from the ground
and pierced through most of the thicker vines which tried to
restrict Zarc. He managed cease the vines' movements for a
moment, only for Flowey's Determination to overpower the row of
bones which did little damage individually. These bones
shattered before dissolving into thin air but Sans continued to
summon more small clusters of bones to spear through the vines,
despite finding them to break not long after.
The skeleton went quiet as he tried to get a better grip on
focusing on the task at hand. Going a week without any sleep was
rather devastating for the skeleton and over the days he dared
not attempt to count on the hours upon hours of sleep he was
missing each day.
Still, he still managed to dodge the set of vines which had
targetted him fairly well and with this many allies on his side
he was grateful that he didn't need to go all out to his full
potential.
Sans continued to summon more small clusters of bones to strike
at the sets of vines which had lashed out at his other friends.
Whilst he was unable to keep the unruly plants at bay, he could
at least buy precious moments of time for his friends ro be able
to react a bit better to the situation. Keeping this up,
however, proved to be a challenge; considdring the current state
of his health.

Everyone seemed so quick to react, it was all quite the rush!
Zarc and Haruno where onto the pellets Flowey launched at them
swiftly, and Sans was out of her arms so fast, it took her a few
seconds to notice. She would soon see him attacking the vines
that had reached out to latch their friends though.
Toriel's hands would ignite in bright purple flames, since her
hands where now free from holding up the small skeleton. The
goat would first launch a few fire balls out at the remaining
pellets, trying to help Zarc and Haruno in protecting the group.
Soon though, she'd turn on the vines alngside Sans, he wasn't
well and even if he didn't admit it, he could use some help to
make it a bit easier.
Toriel figured her flames may come in use as well, plants didn't
particularly like being shrivelled by flames. The heat could
potentially sap them of their moisture as well, something Flowey
was getting too much of with all the melting snow. Clapping her
hands together, she'd then hold them up, attempting to create a
small wall of Fire inbetween the group and the vines trying to
snatch them, it might not be big enough to fully stop them, but
maybe the heat from it would help to keep the vines at bay and
in turn, assist Sans in keeping them safe.

The longer the group stayed in this room, the more Zarc felt a
nagging lack of feeling in the back of his mind. One that he
didn't necessarily have any time to pay attention to, but it was
certainly still there. As much as his will could suppress it, as
long as he could hear the disgusting wad of petals and tainted
soil, that void was still there.
"Cheers dude!" Thanks to the assistance of Sans and the others;
Zarc took the chance he was given to move away from the vines
encroaching upon him with a swift hop and glide backwards. Of
course, with the room covered in them; they would have to keep
their wits about them. Now that he was behind Toriel's wall of
fire, Zarc could not only focus on the movements of things
around them such as the vines that encompassed the room and the
main body of Flowey plus his alternate mini-selves... He could
also begin to bring together more strength. Clasping his hands
together, a dull grey glow pulsated from them and across his
body, eventually increasing in speed.
He had to be ready for the next onslaught.

Hara was grateful for everyone else's assistance but she didn't
like the nagging feeling in the back of her head that somehow
influenced her to protect Gaster although he wasn't doing
anything! The black haired woman wanted to just let him fend for
himself but Haruno was in there somewhere pulling some invisible
strings. So with an annoyed sigh and a giant jump backwards to
avoid vines, she crossed her arms over one another, the water
instruments switching sides, dripping the pure liquid as they
moved.
Her water cello being as big as it was would drip the most
water...but there was something about this so called pure water.
As it touched the ground it sizzled until it dissolved taking
whatever it touched with it. It was acidic "pure" water. Another
defense mechanism set up specifically for weeds like Flowey
should he try to absorb them. Her violet balls of energy
appeared more in the variety around her. Overflowing with energy
from all of the training she'd undertaken since her take over
her cello and it's bow became in sync with her body movements.
If she were to dodge it would move but play it's ear piercing,
energy sapping music. Oh how she loved music even if it was
meant to harm others. Hara was sadistic so this was nothing but
pleasure in it's worst form. The smallest violin of the bunch
floated over top of Gaster to create a shield or small dome
around him. Hara knew her limits and how long she could keep the
protecting, offense and defense up at the same time. She always
had a mental timer in her mind to remind her of how long she
could do certain things and when she needed to stop so she could
recharge but right now recharging wouldn't be a problem since
her body was currently releasing violet orbs of energy. She was
overflowing with it so needing to recharge was no concern and
probably wouldn't be for a while.
"Sansy!" She called out with a look in his direction for a quick
second before turning back to what she was doing, her hand
slamming to the left which in turn sent a watery bass clarinet
over towards the vines to offer assistance to Toriel's fire. It
wouldn't cancel out the flames since it wasn't pure water. In
fact it could increase the heat of the flames if she were to
allow the bass clarinet to lose form right over Toriel's fire.
"How do we beat something that has an ability like this?"

the right pacing was needed since this is a bombshell/story

not make future ones anywhere near this long again lol.))

Some of the vines were licked by the flames and were instantly
shriveled up into a twisted, blackened mess on the ground; the
other vines retreated from the wall of fire, greatly assisting
the group.
"No prob bro." the skeleton replied
as he continued to breath heavily, placing the back of his hand
over his forehead to wipe more sweat away; only it to cause for
him to flinch.
Pain.
He looked to his hand to fine more fine fragments of bone flaked
away and a more alarming rate that he had been previously aware
of. Instinctively, he used his other hand to wipe that off but
he flinched again, feeling even more pain from such a simple
notion. The shadows about the skeleton's eye sockets hardened,
as if to insinuate that he was furrowing the eyebrows he never
had in thought.
Meanwhile, at the other side of the chamber Flowey rolled his
eyes, his devilish grin lessened as he looked unimpressed with
their choice in actions. He let out a disappointed sigh, "Well,
I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Sprite, I hope you have been
paying attention~" he commented as he looked towards one of the
stone slabs on the wall. The Disc Florets that made up his face
rippled from being closed and open; changing his expression to a
sinister grin. They tilted from side to side, as if being
affected by the pulsing power the flower was radiating with.
Thorns poked through his mouth to form his 'teeth' and they
clicked together as his eyes widened and yet also grew empty -
save for the tint red lights which represented his pupils
floated about in there as he stared at the group. The red tips
of his petals, filled with Determination, flooded over the
golden hue; turning his petals entirely to a shade of blood-red
as he coiled his stem in a snake-like striking stance.
The gems on the devices the group were wearing started to go
haywire, blinking and beeping rapidly and holographic warnings
started to flash up before their eyes; all pointing to the
'main' Flowey in the room as he chuckled maniacally. The minutes
that passed seemed to drag on in an eerie silence, nothing
seemed to have happened. At least, nothing changed in the room,
no more vines attacking and the monsters had successfully
defended themselves from his onslaught of 'Friendliness
Pellets'... but why was the husk chuckling manically?
Breaking the silence after his chuckles the flower addressed the
group, "Golly, with your little pow-wow there you lot sure are
capable of fending for yourselves huh? This is good~" he cooed,
eyeing Zarc's preparation for his next attack curiously, "And
you, you're probably one of the more interesting Anomalies here.
I don't know why you would, but, you're good friends with
Trashbag here aren't you? Tell me, just how close of friends
would you two say you are? Just how far are you willing to push
yourself for a pile of bones who is too lazy to do anything?"
Sans had been standing unusually still like a statue, staring at
his hand for a while before he finally moved again. His body
shivered, the bones beneath his clothes rattled softly before he
hugged himself and rubbed his arms as if to suggest he had felt
cold all of a sudden. A skeleton feeling cold? He then calmly
walked towards the centre of the chamber, one foot with just one
slipper and the other barefoot that slapped against the damp
floor until he was almost equidistant from Flowey and his
friends. The flower grinned wider and soon the vines and roots
he had been connected to directly quickly had shades of blood
red bleed through them for a fore moments until suddenly the red
disappeared from them.
The devices the group were wearing were still beeping like
crazy, frantically alerting the wearers that there was a shift
in movement of time; only this time the holographic warnings
were not just flashing on Flowey, but on Sans as well. However
this time there was also something different added to the
warning signs, there was a date blinking, from about a year ago.
Sans' head suddenly jerked upwards, before looking all around
him his body taking several steps in a circular motion, as if
suggesting that he was having a good look at his surroundings.
"Snow? Snowdin Forest?" he mumbled to
himself before letting out a low sigh and calmly pocketed his
hands into his jacket, "Damn, a Reset. I
didn't even see him die, maybe one of the others got him without
me noticing. Heh, good on them. Whelp, I guess I gotta go find
them and see if we can try this thing again."
He then swung a lazy kick in front of him as he walked,
suggesting that he may have just kicked a pebble, or maybe a
heap of snow? He paused suddenly, staring at said foot curiously
for a moment of confusion before shrugging it off,[font=comic
sans ms] "It's a good thing those devices work. I don't have to
explain as much thankfully... and Tori... if she lost all those
memories of us meeting at the door. Man. That would be
depressing. She wouldn't even know who I was when I find her
again."
The Sentry continued to walk in the chamber for a short until
Sans suddenly stopped mid-way of a step and his eye sockets grew
wide and the lights faded as he came to a sudden realization,
"Wait a second... I know when this
is." he muttered to himself before suddenly turning and
around and started running in a panic.
Sans. Was running.
"Papyrus!" he called out in between
labored breaths, trails of fine bone dusted off of him as he ran
before stretching out, "Don't fight him bro!
Don't do it! Run!"
The skeleton tripped, a wave of searing pain shot throughout his
body as he skidded across the ground.
"No. No. No. No. Nonononono." he
gasped before he clambered back up again only to fall to his
knees again, cupping his hands in front of him as if he were
holding something spherical like a ball... or was it his own
brother's remaining skull? The monsters in the room couldn't
actually see what was happening, they could just see the
skeleton moving about and interacting with things he thought was
there; not realizing he was still in the present timeline and in
Waterfall with them. The short skeleton closed his eye sockets
with disbelief as he brought his arms closer to his body,
rocking back and forth as he started to sob, [font=comic sans
ms]"Papyrus, bro, I am sorry... I should have realized a lot
sooner to stop him... it'll be okay right? Because you're the
greatest and no one is cooler than you! You can see through
this, I know you can. See, you can still smile a ton... a
skele-'ton'. Huh? Huh? Isn't that something you used to say to
me? To wake up every morning and find something to smile
about... no Pap, there is nothing to believe in that thing, he
can't and won't do any better..."
The skeleton then looked up, his grin instantly becoming
completely false and anger was starting to surface as he looked
straight ahead of him at one the chamber walls. He then let out
a gasp and his body jerked, his hands clapping together once and
drooped; implying that what little weight he carried in his
hands suddenly disappeared. Sans hunched over in defeat with his
hands on the chamber's floor; his body shuddering as he mourned
loudly.
Flowey looked rather smug, but this expression brought to him
wasn't accomplished by this alone, it was because of what was
yet to come. Soon his petals regained their golden hue with
red-tips for a few seconds and they all turned blood red once
again. As did his vines and roots for a short while. The devices
beeped again, flashing warnings on both Sans and Flowey; this
time a different date had appeared on Sans, another year before
the last warning. The skeleton stood up suddenly, and just like
before he mumbled to himself the same thing and looked around in
a similar fashion; then later came to the same realization and
ran suddenly in a similar fashion but in the opposite direction.
Again he would reach out, but this time he didn't trip and moved
more aggressively, remembering his mistake from last time...
alas, he still failed and it became clear to those watching that
he had bared witness the murder of his brother once again.
Again, the devices beeped, pointed to Sans with a different date
set yet another year beforehand and the skeleton got up just as
suddenly and reacted the same way as before. This time quicker,
speaking less and moving more aggressively. Even to a point
where he started using one of his 'shortcuts' to teleport
suddenly from one end of the chamber to the other, but, again,
it became apparent that he failed to save his brother once
again. This time he mourned less when the weight disappeared
from his hands, curling a hand into a tight fist and slammed it
onto the ground in frustration.
This same thing repeated itself several times more, each event
occurring another year before the last... just how many times
has Flowey killed Papyrus? And of course, each and every time
Sans failed to save his brother, no matter how much more
aggressively and more quickly he approached the situation. With
each and every failure, despite the permanent smile on his face,
he grew angrier and angrier.
One more time, Flowey repeated this, only this time it wasn't
set yet another year before the last time, but rather several
months after.
"Oh, in case you were too stupid to figure it out by now."
Flowey suddenly spoke up, "I now have the ability to
independently Reset things of my choosing. Such as the
Trashbag's mind for example. He's stuck in a time loop~ That's
what happens when you're a stupid Time Traveler who don't even
know what they're doing when they're building stupid machines
that break down. You'll end up being more vulnerable to ME and
MY Determination! Hehehehaahahahahahaha!"
He then raised a brow to the group of friends, "You know what
else is fun about what I've learned? There are some laws I
cannot change with my Determination, but that is okay! It works
just fine! I bet since you've been such good friends you've
noticed that he hasn't been feeling very well lately; probably
since the fissure appeared? That's because of me and Father of
the Year over there with you~ See, the good doctor wasn't meant
to come back, but he did! And he is just the worst kind of
Anomaly! In every single timeline I've been through there have
been only two skeletons in this garbage family... but now that
Gaster has returned, something had to dive because there cannot
be more than two skeletons existing at once. Since, apparently,
he is very much like his eldest son is every conceivable way,
one had to be wiped out to make way for the more... 'stronger'
garbage bag of bones. Thanks to you, dear doctor, I can finally
rid this timeline and the next of Sans once and for all! And
soon, Papyrus will forget what it's like to have a sibling. An
only child. Boo hoo. HEHEHAHAHAAHAHA!"
The skeleton stood up again with his hands resting his pockets,
facing the group and with his back to Flowey and eye sockets
closed, "Heh. Hehehehehe. I see what's going
on here now." he chuckled humorlessly, voice as cold as
ice, "You're some kind of freak getting a
kick outta this aren't ya? You knew, somehow, that I would only
be able to make enough of those for my friends. I see your game
now."
Suddenly the air around the chamber grew cold, a shift in the
air indicated that an influx of power had started to resonate
from the skeleton that seemed to have lied dormant for quite
some time. The ends of his jacket and shorts flickered as a
non-existent wind brewed from around the skeleton. He opened his
eye sockets and stared blankly at his friends, the right one
void of any light and friendliness and the other, flashed dimly
and rapidly between the shades of cyan and bright yellow. Dozens
upon dozens of bones appeared behind the seemingly calm
skeleton, rising up a few feet off the ground before slamming
down onto it in a slow, rhythmic pattern. He appeared relaxed
and nonchalant like he usually did, but the bones behind him was
telling otherwise; as if sounding the drums of war. Soon two
very large demonic skulls hissed and fizzled into existence
behind him; they were at least three times his size before
suddenly roaring with the great intensity of pure rage.
Sans tilted his head as he looked in front of him, his 'smile'
was still there but it thinned and was at all genuine and a
singular bone appeared in his hands. His grip tightened until it
snapped in half and disappeared. The devices were still
indicating that Sans was not back in the present timeline yet;
still being stuck in the months after the last death of Papyrus.
"I see you have also taken my friends' Souls
too. This is all just one bad joke to you right? Dunno how you
managed that, but uh, that works better for me otherwise I
wouldn't be able to do this to a soulless thing like you. I'm
sure they won't mind lending me a hand in freeing them from you.
Luckily for you, I just happen to know quite a lot of bad jokes.
Like this one for example."
Another bone appeared in his hands, only to be snapped in half
once more.
Zarc would feel a sudden prickling, freezing feeling deep in his
body; surrounding his Soul as he was raised even higher into the
air and thrown down to the ground twice. Each time he hit the
ground he might feel the ground shake and would only have but a
moments notice to avoid the bones which would shoot through the
ground soon.
"Knock. Knock."
Sans disappeared but immediately afterwards a chilling voice
would suddenly crawl from behind Hara,
"Who's there?"
More bones shot up from the ground in attempt to skewer Hara.
"Blast." his voice continued, this
time next to Gaster and bones shot up from the ground and
ceiling in attempt to stab his father.
He disappeared before reappearing behind Alphys, [font=comic
sans ms]"Blast who?" More bones were sent flying towards
her.
The skeleton disappeared again before appearing suddenly in
front of Toriel, standing on a couple of bones to give himself a
boost as he leaned forward, a chilling breath escaping from
between his teeth, "Heh. That's a good
question, why don't I start with you?"
Behind him the two Blasters from before moved into position,
slowly opening their jaws as an unearthly sound echoed before
lighting up the chamber as they primed their attacks. Sans
vanished a split second before both blinding beams were fired at
Toriel.

Re: Part III: You're Kinda Boned.
By: Zarc Tenebris Date: April 30, 2017, 4:44 am
---------------------------------------------------------
Though he looked as though he was fully focused on his charging,
Zarc knew well enough that he still had to listen. He once again
properly heard the commotion from beyond the stone slabs-- the
mood and flow of the conversation... Havoc was merely one way to
describe it. Evidently, the disgusting weed that dared to get in
their way had some 'ally'. Just seeing how this creature acted,
and from what Sans has mentioned in the past... That was no
ally; not for Flowey. This 'Sprite' he called to, was a
play-thing, being subtly manipulated for the weed's own gain.
For a decent enough while; Zarc was left to empower himself. At
some point the pulsating glow became a short instant flash of
light that wouldn't cause any harm to anyone's vision, before
becoming a phenomenon so fast that it was now lost to the vision
of those around him; yet even still he made an effort to gather
more strength. Flowey's first mistake was allowing this to
happen in the first place, much less allow it to continue.
The winged monster wouldn't even dignify Flowey's attempt to
talk to him with a response. It wasn't his fault that Flowey
didn't know what friendship meant.
It was at that point, Sans started to act weird; and the device
Zarc hid on his person started freaking out even more; throwing
out tens of hundreds of thousands of warning signs both around
Flowey and Sans. For a moment, the subtle gathering of energy
Zarc was managing slowed down. The thing that stood out among
the warnings was a date that stuck to Sans. One year ago. Sans
and his grip on reality slipped even further from there, and
quickly he devolved into a bawling mess... He just saw a vision
of Papyrus dying one year ago... That made no sense, since his
brother was alive and well.
Then it happened again.
Again...
And again...
Zarc clenched his fists, the energy he had been gathering had
more than doubled in speed. Just a little more. With the time he
was given, the more drawn out and lengthy Flowey's monologues
got, the better position he would be in. Seeing Sans in such a
state-- manipulated by a hated enemy and scourge of the
underground-- only fueled his own rage. This was Flowey's second
mistake.
The void of nothingness at the back of his mind called to him
louder now, yet the man himself, Zarc Tenebris, was far too
pissed off to hear it.
The air of the chamber grew colder still, but only slightly, as
it was also accompanied by a gross clammy humidity. It was
however, more subtle. Zarc had no desire to fight Sans, but he
would for sure defend himself. He knew, that if Sans was freed
from this curse and awoke to the dust of his friends then he
wouldn't be able to forgive himself; reset or not. Sans always
said; that the moment you stop caring is the moment your life
begins to fall apart. Sans might be lazy, and Zarc might be a
prickly jerk but there was one thing of the many things they had
in common.
[glow=pink,2,300]They cared.[/glow]
About their friends, this world, and everyone that was taken
from them. The difference being that Sans knew about each and
every time, forever. Even still, he cared. He knew what
friendship meant. He knew love. Real love, not a level of
violence. That is what set him apart from Flowey.
As the cold freezing clawed at Zarc's Soul, he used some of the
energy he had amassed as a buffer, allowing him some form of
movement, yet acted as though the attack had its full effect.
Noting the rumbles from beneath the ground, he steeled himself
to flap his wings and move in tandem with the bones that came
out, he floated mere centimeters above them when they came out,
once again acting as if he was hit!
Zarc rolled in the air towards the group; hurling a few magic
bolts towards the bones that flew towards the others to buy them
some time to react on their own, putting a bit more effort into
protecting 'Gaster' and Alphys as the elder skeleton seemed to
have completely spaced out and Alphys was frozen in fear. "HEY,
GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER!" He called as he landed on the ground,
kicking off once more as he rushed towards Toriel; having seen
Sans's Blasters primed at her.
'C'mon wingman. He'll be pissed off if you don't at least save
her!'. In response to the firing of the blasters; Zarc had his
own idea in mind, he would throw a magic bolt that was a fair
bit larger than the other ones. Previously they were the size of
a softball, but this one was reached beach-ball size! There was
some added oomph with a quick crackling of a purple energy...
The kind that would make sinner's skin crawl.

Re: Part III: You're Kinda Boned.
By: Sans Date: April 30, 2017, 9:21 am
---------------------------------------------------------
Zarc was successful in sparing Gaster and Alphys from the bones
by shattering them with his magic bolts, as well as some of them
for Hara; however, several more bones were still on it's way
attempt to strike the gem beast.
The Gaster Blasters' beams reached their peak in charging before
uttering a guttural roar to indicate that they were ready to
fire in an instant.
And so they did.
Blinding light charged relentlessly towards Toriel - shining
bright to match Sans' underlying feeling of rage; but before
they could hit her Zarc's attack had been fired in attempt to
intercept it.
Flowey shuddered, feeling needles crawl up the back of his stem
from noticing the purple charges in Zarc's attack. He eyed the
purple demon-monster curiously.
Sans' eye sockets went wide as, from his perspective, he too saw
another attack that 'Flowey' had fired to interfere with the
Blasters. Instinctively, as a precaution, Sans summoned another
large Blaster for him to hide in moments before the impact.
Lucky for the skeleton too, for the moment Zarc's charged up
attack had collided with the Blasters the impact caused an
explosion. Toriel, Zarc and Sans were the ones closest to it; so
the impact of the blast had sent them flying backwards. Sans and
his makeshift shield were thrown across the chamber and slammed
into a wall. The result of taking the brunt of the blow of the
explosion and hitting the wall rather hard caused for the
Blaster to crumble away, leaving the skeleton dazed but
unharmed.
Sans placed a hand to the side of his skull, regaining his
bearings. Merely touching his skull was enough for the skeleton
to flinch again from the searing pain as fine layers of dust
continued to flake off his bones at a slow yet steady pace. He
shook his head and his cyan eye shifted to stare unblinkingly at
Zarc; already deciding that he was currently the most
threatening 'Flowey'. So, as quickly as his attacks would
infamously move and by the numbers, Sans held out a left arm
towards him. Opting to be more ruthless this time, a circle of
cyan bones shot up from the ground until they hit the barrier
above, sparking with ominous energy; trapping Zarc in a cage.
Without hesitation, four Blasters surrounded Zarc, snarling at
him as they opened their jaws to prime their attacks. Being this
close, the only thing Zarc probably might see was white as the
rest of the chamber lit up once again.

Re: Part III: You're Kinda Boned.
By: Toriel Date: May 1, 2017, 1:53 am
---------------------------------------------------------
Toriel covered her mouth as the events rolled out in front of
the group, she took a step back as she watched Sans and how he
seemed to be replayed through the same horrid memory over and
over again. As he broke down in front of them, the goat would
tear up lightly, a sympathetic look filling her face to see the
skeleton in such a state.
He changed again though, becoming enraged towards his friends,
rather then Flowey, probably because he was seeing them as
someone they where not... One by one, he would throw his attacks
at his friends, Toriel turned to see, or at least to attempt to
see them as they happened, fearing for the other's before
finally, Sans reached her. Usually she would be laughing at his
knock knock jokes, but not even this one would cause Toriel to
giggle.
The goat monster would step back in fear, placing her hands in
front of her defensively when Sans appeared in front of her. She
would shake her head, her lower lip quivering lightly, she
didn't want to be scared of Sans, but right now he wasn't seeing
her as his friend, she knew that, and she knew that once he was
back to being in this time and mind, he wouldn't want to come
back seeing and knowing he'd hurt those important to him....
"S..Sans! Liste-"
Her eyes grew wide, her pupils shrinking as the Gaster Blasters
where aimed at her, jaws opening, roaring with sound as their
attacks lit up, tears began to roll down Toriel's soft, snow
white cheeks as she stared ahead at the blasters. She wasn't as
agile as most monsters, she couldn't teleport as Sans did to get
out of the way.
The blinding beams where heading for her.
Toriel felt half frozen in fear, but her determination to see
Sans back to his old self pulled through, she would ignite her
hands, bringing her purple flames up to begin to protect herself
with another wall.
Only for Zarc to save her, the explosion though caused by his
save would knock her off her feet backwards. It sure was better
then being blasted completely by Sans' though!

Toriel, recovering from the blast impact, would attempt to
slowly push herself up, looking up to see Zarc imprisoned with
Blasters all around him.
"Sans!"
Unsure of if he could even hear them properly or not, anything
was worth a try to save their friend.. She hoped this would
work, if not for Sans, then for Zarc's sake, she was unsure if
she could rid all four Blaster's for him, but she owed him her
life, and was for sure going to try her best.
"Knock, knock"
Slowly getting to her feet, not bothering to brush herself off,
Toriel would raise her hands, igniting them once more before
firing two fireballs towards two of the Gaster Blasters, wether
they had any effect or not, she hoped they at least would get
the attention of the blasters off of Zarc to give him more time.
Hands heating up with flickering flames again, she would
continue,
"Who is there.."
Another pair of fire balls would be launched at the Blasters, as
she slowly made her way towards the small skeleton. Not towards
the Blasters to ensure a better shot.
"... A broken pencil..."
"... A broken pencil who?.."
Toriel would ball her hands together to create a bigger, more
power packed ball of flames, the fire dancing in the reflection
of her glassy crimson eyes as she looked up to Sans, her ears
blowing back lightly at the force of the flames.
"Nevermind, it's pointless"
With an almighty suck of air, Toriel would turn and launch the
larger ball of purple flames towards the blaster's surrounding
Zarc, after having finished saying one of the jokes Sans himself
had told her when they first met by the door to the Ruins.
"Pointless, get it? Just like how fighting you is,
we need you Sans, we are your friends, we love you, we care
about you deeply, we do not want to fight you, we are no threat
to you... Please.. Tell me you can hear me.. Do you still
remember that joke? it was one of the firsts you told me,
remember?... Or do you need another rib tickler for your funny
bone?"
