*So. I'm supposed
to let you know that the finale for the current Arc on the
forum: Whispers of the Mines is coming up very soon.

* Mostly because we
are running on a time limit, so unfortunately we cannot wait for
everyone.

things which have been going on, I have, uh, been keeping an eye
socket on things. As I usually do. It's a part of my job after
all.

* I have seen a
lot of interesting posts lately. Actions and choices taken on
the simplest and even the most trivial of things. Things that
tell me what kind of a character you really are.

* Though, I gotta
say, I am a little nervous about some of you. Especially by the
lack of action or words spoken in particular situations - and
it's not because of some of you being too busy with
other-worldly things out there...

has an opportunity to redeem any... 'Bad Karma Points' in Part
III.

* I've been told
that making posts which particularly are creative,
unexpected-yet-not-ridiculously-proportioned and encourage other
characters to think or work together are usually the best ones
to go for if you're worried about those Bad Karma Points.

* So, I'm pretty
sure that my buddy Zarc should be able to get a good reading out
of all of you soon enough. Heh. Looks like we're gonna need it.

* As you know, this
Arc is shaped by you and your actions and choices dictate which
story line is being told. There are three major influences and
paths in the Arc. They are dubbed '[s]Flowey[/s] Dunked Tier',
'Trinity Tier' and 'Koray Tier'. From the looks of it, two of
these tiers have been paid by particular attention by you guys a
lot more than the third.

* So what does
that mean?

* Whelp. It means
that the third tier's story won't have as much of an impact as
the other two. One tier, in particular has had a lot of
attention paid to it lately... so it means that one will have
the biggest presence in the finale.

* You better get
your gear ready. Because you're about to enter 'Hardcore Mode'.

* Things will be
challenging. You will be pushed to your limit. You will most
likely get dunked on. But nothing is impossible. We will be
harsh but never unfair. None of us will certainly not be taking
actions for the sake of being 'awesome'. That's boring and kinda
too much effort yanno?

* If something
looks like it doesn't work, my advice is to try something else,
because, chances are, the answers are literally right under your
nose. Be sure to read every little detail in every post made by
the Arc Host. I hear that she will be not only dropping a lot of
bomb shells, but, also clues on how to be successful.

24 hours remaining until the finale starts! :o
So if you would like to get in early in participating in the
finale make sure you wrap up any canon rps you're in and have
your characters exot them before joining in on a finale thread!
Remember, based on your choices (and lack of choices) you guys
have unlocked the 'Hardcore Mode' in the RP; which means it is
the most challenging but also the most exciting path you could
possibly take in the arc. Things will be tough but it's also
rewarding for those who make the right kinds of posts - it will
also mever be unfair. So here's my last piece of advice before
diving into Part III!
1. It doesn't matter how 'amazing', 'powerful', 'perfect' or
just plain 'awesome' your character may be. That isn't going to
matter when you're fighting against Determination. You're not
the inky one participating. The way the Arc has been designed -
even on the easiest path - is that everyone participating is
needed and is equally important. Work together. You can even
scheme/plot behund my back in order to try and figure somethung
out.
2. Where there is a will, there is a way. If something isn't
working, try something else. Make sure that read every little
detail in posts written by myself, Link and Sprite because we
will be dropping little hints on how to overcome challenges if
you're struggling. Especially my posts, because I will be
frequently dropping hints on how to get the best possible
outcome in a lot of my posts.
Skimming through posts or neglecting to respond to important
parts of posts will be your worsr enemy.
3. Posts which are creative, thoughtful and help flourish
character development/enhance the situation for both parties/not
self-centered will give you a much better advantage when it's
needed the most in the story. You will be rewarded for yiur
efforts don't you worry ;)
4. No derailing! If you do anything that distracts from the
story or siruation at hand for everyone to sudden focus on you,
you will get super dunked on super hard. (Common examples
inclide suddenly diving into your character's backstory or
having them starting to die without asking me first. I have had
this happen to me before in previous arcs I have hosted and it
is extremely frustrating.) By that I mean, any characters who do
that will most likely get locked up in the Void or something
until after the finale.
