       Artin Destine
By: Artin Destine Date: April 9, 2017, 12:00 am
       ---------------------------------------------------------
       Name: Atrin Destine
       Gender: Male
       Species: Ghost
       Profession: Artistic Engineer
       Residence: Garbage Dump
       Abilities:
       (Ghost) Phasing/invisibility
(Orb) Matter Restoration - The ability to restore an object or
to it's rightful state, Either the object as a whole or it's
components. This may also be used on wounds or injuries as a
method of reversing damage. This may not however revive the
       dead.
       Appearance:
Destine's form is for the most part a gaseous creature formed of
grey, purple, and inky black fog. His form is however curiously
ornamented with Copper and Gold plates which act as markers of a
pelvis, chest, fingers, and face. The 'face' bearing a sphere of
polished glass in each socket. The whole ensemble is decorative
and serves no other purpose then then the superficial one of "It
       was aesthetically pleasing".
       Personality/bio:
Uppity, curios, and perhaps a little pedantic, Destine is a
highly detail oriented person and will obsess over the tiniest
aspect of the most mundane task. This does however lead to him
making the solution to issues posed to him far more complicated
       then the actual issue itself.
This striving for the perfect solution is part of the reason he
is interested not only by the function of objects, but also
their form according to his own sense of 'style'. While perhaps
not the best judge of looks, he will occasionally forgo function
for form until it 'feels right' in his tastes. Although, he can
       appreciate the method and madness of other peoples works;
Silently judging until they quite usually provide him the simple
solution he needed all along. The fastidious ghost, in spite of
his shortcomings, at the very least knows when to admit his
defeat, folly, and to make amends.
While perhaps standoffish at first meeting, Destine is a
steadfast companion eager to solve all his acquaintances
problems (in the most overly complicated way possible) once his
       respect is earned.
       -
Having been an artist and inventor for most of it's time on the
surface, Destine whiled away his time amidst the junk piles
scavenging for the ideal scrap and refuse for the construction
of his varies gadgets and sculptures. While fresh materials were
easier to use, Destine found an odd sense of satisfaction in
giving new purpose to the old and forgotten. Usually adding them
into the network of complicated systems that span his abode for
the purpose of lighting, cooking when the inspirationg struck,
and even music... as off key as a collection of cans, shoes, and
xylophone keys would tend to be.
Driven by a sudden urge to create a self flipping burger device,
the ghost was dismantling one of his sculptures for parts when
he encountered a glow. Rusted spatula in one hand from his
previous project, he searched through the growing pile of refuse
that was his art to find this 'glow' he had encountered was a
small emerald sphere. Strange. He vaguely remembered finding it
in a chute from the CORE but had it known it glowed he would
have used it long ago as more then an ankle joint for his Dog
sculpture.... if that mess of wires and springs was a dog after
all. But what startled the ghost was simply how pristine the
sculpture had looked. Taking it in his hands he could feel a
cold tingling as the plating of his 'fingers' polished and
before his very eyes. It was not long after that he learned the
objects properties as one item after another formed and
reconstructed at the directed power of the stone. It seemed like
fate that he, who made new from the old, found something that
truly was able to make the old new again. With this new power in
hand, and a near endless supply of materials, the artist started
his work anew. Inventing and sculpting to his heart's content
with the reborn refuse of the garbage dump. With any luck, the
CORE would notice him and his work. Perhaps even realizing his
dream of joinign the esearch team if he actually knuckled down
on the courses he'd neglected in favor of his art.... Someday.
       Maybe...
Until then, there was and is work to be done! No time to be
worrying about such things when he has so many new ideas.
