Fighting for a melting world

The bar had been becoming rather stuffy rather quickly, and even
though it had been nice to meet new people Meka was still glad
she decided to leave. Now she could focus on more important
things. The warmer weather made the snow become water under her
paws and she groaned as they became soggy. Now was not the time
to be petty though: Kapral could be going through a lot worse.
Plus, the new greenery was quite beautiful...
She settled for a training spot close to the beginning of
waterfall and the end of Snowdin where the ground was usually
dirt and stone rather than snow. The goat frowned as she noticed
that waterfall seemed to now merge with Snowdin: there used to
snow on the ground that defined a true border. It was odd,
seeing the snowy world fade away. What would happen if the crack
in the ceiling remained? It could spell disaster... But what
could she do about it? She couldn't produce rock....
Training, right! Meka's paws glowed a gentle purple and she
began to punch the closest tree to her repeatedly, healing it
when it became too badly damaged. Though that took a while. She
was magically strong but not as much physically. The teen
grunted and growled as she hit the tree, though she wasn't very
intimidating. Her vocalizations could be compared to soft
bleating or even mewling at some times, though at others she
could make decent grunts. Fatigue was taking over and she
stopped for a minute, healing her splintered paws. A sparring
partner would work a lot better than a tree... at least she
could apply strategy then. This tree wouldn't give her the
challenge she needed if she was going to toughen up for this
mission. Deep down Meka wished that she had been taken instead
of Kapral: at least she would be a bit more of a challenge for
the Koray's. She imagined the tree in front of her as whoever
had ordered her sister's kidnapping and roared a genuine roar,
the purple magic at her finger tips taking the shape of claws
which slashed through the wood. Whoever did this, they would get
it. A new feeling filled her chest: not the usual fluttery
nervous feeling, but a deep burning feeling that made her feel
uncomfortable. It was almost like anger, but a whole lot
stronger, like.... hatred. Yes, she hated whoever had done
this, and whenever she found them she would show them the meaning
of her hatred... show them the meaning of the pain she had to go
through.
Granted, she had done some bad things before, but never on
purpose, and the fact that someone would dare kidnap her sister
for her dust sickened the goat greatly. Boss monsters were
generally stronger soul-wise, and the thought that the Koray had
snuck into her home just to get some powerful dust made her
growl. The tree was slashed again and again, the pine groaning
and covering her paws in sticky sap as it began to feel the
wrath the she wished to direct to those who would dare harm
Kapral. Her eyes had gained the ominous glow that her paws had
as the magical power built up inside her, the blue irises
turning a luminous lavender.

Low rumbles echoed as the sounds of heavy footsteps of both
padded feet and metal boots gradually grew louder and closer
from Waterfall. An eight foot, vermilion-red, quadruped
dragoness stepped through; twin battle axes had been melted into
the tip of her tail as she swayed it gently side-to-side as she
walked. She had two suits of armor reminiscent of the royal
guard walking along side her as well, but upon closer inspection
there was no one inside wearing them.
The former royal blacksmith turned her head when she noticed
Meka sparring with a tree and a puff of metallic dust plumed out
from her nostrils before she spoke, "Excuse me," she called out,
her voice respectfully cold, "have you seen this young girl? Her
name is Marver, she manipulates glass and about yay-high."
Soon a scroll held up by metal pieces floated over to Meka to
reveal a young dragoness with an elaborate crown of thorns and
metallic pink--silver hide as the dragon simultaneously gestured
the approximate height of the missing monster with a foot.

Not to far off was a average sized fox with shiny pink hair. His
eyes filled with hearts and his smile showed kindness. Roka
looked down at his dress with a small frown, he didn't
particularly like dresses but he really wanted to get outside
and play! Roka pulled his lower body back and stretched out his
paws. He could always walk upright but sometimes it was a lot
funner to run around like a traditional fox from the old
stories. His large ears, both pierced with two rings in each ear
twitched at the sound of a low voice. It sounded womanly like
his own but serious. He began to trot towards the voice until he
found himself facing a small goat girl and a large red dragon
woman. His trotting slowed until he was still and he stood up
and shook his paws since they became wet from the ground that
used to be snow. His paws then found themselves ruffling the
ruffles in his pink dress to keep it nice and fluffy. His red
and sliver eyes sparkled; the hearts in them still as evident as
ever. His ears stood up in a calm alarmed type way.
"Hello there!" He greeted in a sweet voice;
his long pink hair in it's thick and long ponytail trailing down
his back and to the ground. His gray and black tail swished from
side to side in excitement.
"I couldn't help but over hear your conversation!
May I help you?"

The lavender colour slowly faded from the goats eyes as her
magical power waned. Seeing the guard-like suits and their
master approaching gave her the impression that she was in
trouble. She focused first on the towering dragoness herself,
then to the empty suits and finally to the scroll. Her heart
sank when she saw the image on it: a fairly young looking
dragon. Meka let out a sad sigh and frowned.
"How... how old is she? Younger monsters... there have been many
cases lately of them being kidnapped by these wolf beasts...
including my younger sister". Meka explained, her own blue eyes
unwilling to make contact with the luminous green eyes of the
dragon. Was this small dragon hidden away somewhere, in the same
place as Kapral? If so, these two could find themselves to be
quite helpful to each other.
"If what I think happened really is the case... I would like to
search with you. They are out there somewhere, I can sense it!"
Meka exclaimed, her paws balled into tight fists of
determination. She then noticed the fox "girl" approaching the
two of them.
"As much help as possible would be great! We could even start a
search party, potentially find out a few things, maybe even get
a lead!
I mean, if you guys are willing" she bleated, the excitement of
potentially finding her sister oozing from her voice. Though she
still felt tired from the lack of sleep she had been having Meka
was eager to find her sister and all of the other monster
children.

Linny walked out of the bar to see Meka leaving towards
Waterfall, curiousity got the better of her as she decided to
follow her discreetly. Every hundred feet was another blip in
and out of exsistence, teleporting to travel. When she arrived,
she watched Meka train herself against a tree before a large,
red dragoness approached her. The dragon then showed her a
scroll before a pastel adorned fox monster appeared, coming into
the conversation. "Oh! Hi there.. Meka, right? What are you guys
doing out here?" Linny asked softly, her eyelights scanning the
area for any evidence as to what they were talking about. She
sighed, her bones letting out a stifled clatter as they settled
into place. She shuddered uncomfortably from the sudden heat
from the light cascading in from the hole broken through on the
ceiling of the Underground, watching the plants growing rapidly.
Her phalanges nervously flittered and fidgeted through her light
blue wig as she looked subtly over the dragoness and the fox.

Roka's tail swished feverishly form side to side from his
excitement. He shook his entire body, fur shaking with him to
remove some of the water that had taken a strong liking to his
fur and body. He opened his maw to release purple fox fire and
completely dry himself and the area around him so he would no
longer be plagued by the water trying to seep between his paws.
Water slowly made it's way back around him since the ground was
nearly flooded with at least an inch of height of water.
"Well then let's get moving shall we?" The pink haired fox's
eyes sparkled in enthusiasm and he couldn't wait to go off on a
fun adventure. It'd be fabulous!
