"HEYYY YO!"
In a moment of awkward silence, a voice rang out to break it.
The door was unceremoniously whipped open as a tall stranger
entered the establishment. A monster of course. Their skin was a
pale dead blue, clammy and cold by the looks of things. They
wore a plain purple shirt and a dark torn up sleeveless
long-coat, as well as dark trousers and a loose key-chain on the
side of these trousers. His eyes were a vibrant red, and he
apparently wore some glasses. At the same time, he had wings.
Though natural for a monster, they were...
[glow=red,2,300]Ominous[/glow] looking wings.

"Isn't every day that ol' Grillby's gets this busy, someone
having a party? Without The Z? Now thats a crime I tell ya." The
man approached the front counter where the group was gathered as
he brought out a lollipop from his coat, carefully taking it out
of the wrapper. He surveyed those that had gathered, and
smirked. The scent was here, the scent of
[glow=red,2,300]Sin[/glow]... Faintly, anyway. "So, what's good
everyone?"

I went to kitchen and gave them whatever they wanted. My
attention suddenly sparked towards an excited and happy feline
who just entered the resto-bar, I winced at the utterance of a
new nickname. "Oi! Only I give nicknames here!" I replied. "Oh,
that reminds me. I have to give people nicknames. I tend to
forget sometimes, too much information can be such an
annoyance."
I pointed at the human boy, "I'll call you... Purple. Because
your hair is purple. Is that dye? Did you use dye? I could never
tell, to be honest. Here's your orange juice, Purple." I placed
down the orange juice in front of him.
Next, the... Nine tailed fox. "I'll call you Tails, because you
have an inconsiderable amount of tails. I've never seen you
before. Are you new, perhaps? Well, I would recommend the fries.
They are the absolute bomb, if I say so myself." I said proudly.
My finger pointed next to the goat girl, "I'll call you... Well,
'Grass' is taken. So you'll be... Well... Whatever you'd like to
be called. And I will give you..." I grabbed a big jar with the
engraving "COOKIES" in front of it from the cabinet below the
counter. "Here ya go! Cookies. That'll give happiness, I'm sure
of it."
The next one to be named is the feline. "I'll call you... Overly
excited cat. You look happy, so you'll be that. And yes, we do
have those, but you'll have to wait for 30 minutes. Is that
okay?" I asked.
My attention focused on Sans, "I expect my tab to be paid right
away, Sans."
The door swung open and my eyes darted over a familiar face and
two new customers. It's going to be a busy day. Still wearing my
red velvet coat, I decided to keep it for awhile while I prepare
the servings. Agh... I wish I could've had more manpower to
manage the bar. Toriel and two other people went in. One who I
thought to be with Toriel and one seems to be a humanoid monster
with wings.
Ah. It seems like it's just a yesterday that I opened this silly
little building and started in the cooking industry. "Toriel!
Hello, how are you doing? Fine, I presume? Who's with you today?
And what would you like to have?"
"Hello, Four-eyed wings!" I waved back at the newcomer.
Seems like today really is going to be a busy day.

Luka turned a few shades of red as he sat up and pulled the
whoopee cushion out from under him. He shot the skeleton a
glare, feeling like Sylph and him might have gotten along with
his childish antics. His frown softened, however, as the flame
golem brought him his order with a cheery attitude. He sighed,
taking a sip from his orange juice as he pulled back and tried
to relax.
"Thank you sir." He bowed his head to the fire golem before he
turned his attention back to the Kitsune. "If there is anything
I've learned in my travels and tribulations it's that things are
never easy first off. Secondly, well..." He looked up, imagining
some of his earlier adventures and all the insanity he went
through and how often he scraped by the skin of his teeth,
"...Even when things look the bleakest, anything is possible
with hard work and good friends." He smiled, looking back down
to her. "So even now, I'm sure things will be alright."

There was a lot happening and Meka's focus drifted from place to
place. The whoopie cushion, Sans flexing, the arrival of a few
new people... and the arrival of a few familiar faces. The small
child that was calling the boss monster mummy... wasn't that the
one that the were beast had stolen earlier? Meka could tell that
the monster that currently held the child was definitely of the
friendly variety and that the child was in good hands so she
decided that she would leave the two of them be. Excitement
coursed through her as she realized that this was a strange boss
monster: the only boss monsters she knew of were her family or
the king.
The goat tilted her head, disappointment evident on her face
that Mr. Grillby had failed to provide her with a nickname but
the jar of cookies did indeed brighten her mood. She remembered
as a kid she would bake cookies with her mother, and instead of
an oven she would use fire magic. Food cooked with fire magic
was always the best and the oven at her house sat almost
untouched, unused unless it really had to be. As she remembered
she noticed that Mr. Grillby was seemingly having difficulty
with serving so many customers, and Meka felt obliged to do
something about it. To be honest, with so many people coming and
sitting down alongside her she was becoming nervous and being
behind the bar would provide a nice wall between them and leave
her seat empty for someone new to sit at.
"Thank you for the cookies Mr. Grillby! Umm, I notice you
seem... overwhelmed. Do... do you need any help?" she queried.
If not she would probably ask Boomerang whom by now she had
noticed come sit down at the bar, if he would like to get a
booth. She knew he was a lover of food and she would finally
have someone willing to have money spent on them.

Man, today was not the best of days for me. I failed to cheer a
bunch of kids up and got them all mad at me because I couldn't
help them in any way, I lost my favorite kazoo, and on top of
all this, well, I was feeling pretty bummed out from getting a
lot of my power drained. So I found myself wandering into
Grillbys to restore my usual pep- Sans came here all the time,
and he was happy for the most part, maybe it'd be able to help
me too! On my way over, I noticed that the coin I had planted in
the ground earlier was starting to grow into something- I still
didn't know what it was, but it looked kinda like a tree sapling
from here... I'd have to check on it even later. But in the
meantime, I wandered into the door of the fireman's
establishment, taking a seat at wherever was open...
"Can I get a Neapolitan root beer float or something sugary like
that over here?... And while you're at it, can ya lace it with
real alcohol?... I got some things I wanna forget."
Man, there were a lot of people in here right now- It's too bad
I was feeling down, I could've done some serious entertainment
shenanigans if I was so inclined. And not at anybody's expense,
either! Maybe a few party tricks, a few jokes here and there...
Man, I could've livened the place up to the point where it was
TOO much. But I didn't, mainly because I was still bummed out
about having to leave those kids there. I still really wanted to
do something for them, but I couldn't tell anybody where they
were, or save any of them, or, well, do anything... I held up a
solid golden Oscar statue that I had come into the possession of
who-knows-how-long-ago to pay for whatever it was that the
server decided to bring to me- I didn't have any straight-up
money, but what I DID have was a whole collection of strange and
interesting objects. Some were completely priceless, and still
others were barely worth anything; But they were still
amusing...

Toriel would muffle a giggle, she had caught Sans flexing, even
though he had no muscle to show being only bones. She would wave
back though, glad to see him around... Although something didn't
seem right with him.
The goat would go a few shades pink in the cheeks at being
called out to by Grillby, some people did remember her it
seemed, she wasn't really expecting to be called out!
She would hurry over to the counter with the child in her arms,
smiling at being called 'Mummy' although it was also rather
surprising, but she didn't mind!
"H-Hello! It's been a while! Oh! I'm quite
alright, yes! How are you? I have this little one here with me~
Some cookies for him would be wonderful!" Toriel would
say to Grillby, giving him a warm smile before looking back to
Sans, that concerned look coming back to her face.
She would give Grillby some time to get the cookies before
wandering over to Sans, giving him a gentle touch on the
shoulder to gain his attention, "[sub]Sans, Dear
are you alright?[/sub]" She would ask, trying to look
over him, like a mother would to a sick child almost.
"Do you know what's going on? I would've visited
earlier, but I found this child being mishandled by some gruffly
looking beast in the forest. He ran off though" Toriel
would explain, curious to know what exactly was going on.

"Umm, if I may... I have some cookies already that I would be
willing to share " Meka told the older goat shyly . She slid the
jar Grillby had offered her gently over to Toriel and the small
child. She definitely couldn't eat them all on her own, why not
share? Plus if anyone needed them more than her it was the
child.

Sakura's ear twtiched at the name she was given. Looking at her
tails a bit, her eyes flared up as she gave a small hmph. For
some reason that name bothered her and she couldn't figure out
why. She did however except the fries putting some salt and
ketchup on them before eating. " Hey these aren't half bad
flames. " she replied with a smile even though her nail was
tapping a bit as her tails swayed a bit still a bit triggered on
the nick name.

The sickly skeleton seemed to perk up a bit more when he heard
the voice of an old friend make his entrance. Sans spun
gradually around on his stool wit his back to the bar and rested
an elbow on the surface behind him. He snapped his fingers on
the other hand and held the index finger up at Zarc with a wink,
"Heya Zarc. I've been wondering when the
next time you'd 'cross the bridge' and 'get over' here."
he opened up with an in-joke... pun... Even for him this was
stretching it; what an off-day Sans was having. He did notice
that smirk Zarc had on his face and knowing what that often
meant caused for the skeleton to raise an eye ridge and glanced
at the group of monsters beside him briefly. He then reflected
upon the last time he and Zarc had hung out.
Sans wasn't sure exactly how long ago it was, but he will never
forget the time he and Zarc were searching through the Echo
Flowers for the most embarrassing love confession they could
find. Eventually, they found the perfect one and looking back,
Sans regretted laughing into it with Zarc since it'll now be
forever overriden with laughing in unison. He then continued,
"Do you think Jerry will ever get over
Tsunderplane? I mean, hearing her crash land and exploding after
his... uh... heartfelt love confession for her was a bit harsh
don't ya think?" The skeleton couldn't help but snicker
loudly upon remembering afterwards.
However his snickering stopped abruptly when he heard Grillby
mention that he expected for his long overdue tab to be paid in
full, immediately. His grin lessened a fraction as he sweated
even more. He still hasn't gotten the money together for that
yet. He took a deep breath before doing his best to say
nonchalantly, "Relax Grills, I'm still
workin' on it. You'll get your money no problem."
The found himself looking over to Luka again,he chuckled again.
Whoopee cushions were always funny and the glare didn't phase
him. He had grown quite used that sort of reaction; if anything
it only made it even funnier for Sans.
Seeing Toriel approach the bar and started talking, Sans
couldn't help but grin a fraction wider, [font=comic sans
ms]"Heya Tori, good to see you out and about. Welcome to
Grillby's. 'N yeah, I'll be fine. Just caught a bug... I think?
Worst thing I have at the moment is not being to sleep at all.
Which is kinda a big deal for me." he explained, trying
to sound like he was brushing it off like it was nothing. The
skeleton raised an eye ridge again at her next question, pausing
for a moment to find the right words, [font=comic sans
ms]"What's going on? So far I've heard that it's been pretty
dangerous around Waterfall and Snowdin Forest lately. Though two
days ago I also heard that Undyne and some other monsters were
chasing down kidnappers." he then looked to the side in
silence for a moment, "It surprised me that
Snowdin of all places was targeted. It's always been such a
peaceful community. Crime is often unheard of here. Oh and the
obvious as well. No idea where this huge fissure in the
Underground ceiling came from. There were no earthquakes. I've
heard that it stretches from here all the way to Hotlands.
Explains the rise in temperature here, crazy right?"

I looked at the goat girl with a perplexed face. I thought about
it, well I needed help anyway considering it was a busy day.
After making a deal with Trinity, I was itching to make some
precautions before I work with her. Some... "necessary"
precautions. Because some things just can't be trusted
immediately. Only reason I joined with her is because I got
intrigued as to why she is recruiting scientists to build her
father's work. It all sounds so fishy that I can't resist a good
mystery.
I smiled, "I suppose I do. Can you handle the customers while I
handle the cooking?"
A new customer came in and ordered a sweet alcoholic beverage.
"Sorry, it's Wednesday... We don't serve alcoholic beverages.
Although, I can offer you some whiskey infused chocolate. And an
advice. You can't forget what happened, the only way you could
try to is to accept it happened. Okay? Okay. Good? Good. That'll
be 10G." Thought it would be a good idea to give the person
something to hold on to.
"Of course," I smirked at Tails. "I try my best everytime. You
should try it with cheese, it's even more marvelously
delightful."
