Hey guys, did a little bit of free writing and thought of this
last night. I think both the characters are very similar and
share a lot of traits. Enjoy!
(Note I'm aware of the typos, I just can't correct them at this
       moment)
       “Dad…?”
The boy felt his breath echo across the vast emptiness that was
The Room of Spirit and Time, his words bouncing and reflecting
upon the infinity that awaited him. Everywhere he turned, there
was nothing. Every time he opened his eyes, nothing. When he
closed them, nothing. There was no escape from the void that was
consuming him. He felt himself call once more, tears beginning
to well in the young boy’s eyes as he felt like curling into a
ball. There was an inevitable terror that was beginning to
flourish from the pit of his stomach. He coughed as it made it’s
way to his heart, and he choked as it began to settle in his
throat. Erratic breaths exploded into the nothingness as the boy
ran, hoping to find the loved one whom he was searching for.
       Son Gohan, was lost.
       “DADDY!!!!!!”
Tear’s consumed Gohan as he could hardly breathe, the hysteria
and fear that was controlling him forced the boy to the ground
as his sobs ripped their way through his chest. The scream from
mere moments before screeching across the chamber, begging to
find the man that had been beckoned by his son. Gohan tried to
dig his nails into the ground, to chisel the dirt between his
fingertips, but as always, there was only nothing.
“Daddy please! I’m scared! Please! I don’t know what to do, I
don’t know where to go, help me!”
He felt like he was back in Raditz’ space pod all over again,
that same dreadful helplessness, that claustrophobic shell that
was slowly closing in on his immature mind. He choked once more,
holding both hands in front of his mouth, as his cries became
       muffled between his hands.
It had been this way for twenty hours.
Gohan closed his eyes as he felt his world begin to spin, his
fingernails digging into the side of his face. He couldn’t stand
this place any more. He couldn’t stand the white floor and white
sky, he couldn’t stand the echoes, he couldn’t stand the ininity
that constantly teased his senses, hoping to find a door.
       He couldn’t stand being alone.
With one final attempt, the boy felt his muscles tense and an
explosion of energy burst from his diaphragm. He felt his aura
flare, his long black hair billowing in the wind as the chirping
of his aura erupted throughout the chamber. Gohan closed his
eyes as he inhaled as much as he could, with as much power as he
       possibly could, Gohan screamed.
       “DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD!”
Without a single breath in his body, Gohan collapsed, embracing
the hopelessness of the situation. There was no determination,
there was no drive. With tears stinging his eyes, the young
hybrid barely opened them as he prepared himself for that soul
crushing disappointment he was all too familiar with that had
plagued him for his entire life.
He felt his heart skip a beat as thought he saw a shape. With
his vision blurry from his episode, Gohan quickly wiped away his
tears to clear up the mirrage. He had already seen too many of
those, his imagination be damned. Yet, as he finally opened
       them… He saw it.
In the middle of the void sat a pillar. Old, cracked, and
covered in vines. It’s purple hue stood out completely in the
amongst the bleach-like features of The Room of Spirit and Time.
The boy blinked several more times, hoping that it was not too
       good to be true....
       Solid.
Wasting no time, Gohan burst forward, his aura flashing
violently as he stopped directly in front of the pillar,
touching it with his palm. He quickly rubbed the surface
numerous times until he felt his skin to begin to chafe. With
that he looked to the vines as they dangled calmly from the
ancient looking brick, lacing each crack and crevice with their
presence. The boy let out a breath of relief as he embraced the
pillar, feeling tears well once more in his eyes…
       “....Dad…..”
       That was not his voice.
Instantaneously, Gohan backed away from the pillar, starting
towards it with an incredulous expression. Did he just hear…
       “M-mom…..” *sniff*
Slowly, Gohan began to walk around the pillar, his curiosity and
concern for the voice driving him to press onward.
       He was… determined.
As he finally turned the corner, Gohan’s eyes widened as he
found himself looking to a dark hallway, only illuminated by a
small patch of sunlight that was in the center of a chamber
filled with golden flowers. He stepped forward, but
instinctively as he stepped he looked back, and his heart nearly
       froze.
The Time Chamber was gone. It was replaced with a solid, purple
brick wall. He coughed in protest, holding his hand in front of
his mouth as his eyes bugged at the sheer reality bending
impossibility he had just witnessed. The smell of old ruins,
cobwebs, and flowers filled his nostrils as he looked towards
       the hallway once more.
Staring at him from across the room was a small figure, standing
right outside the light so it was covered covered in shadow.
       “.....Howdy.”
