Fight 31 Katherine McNamara vs Dessie Mitcheson

Katherine McNamara's the favourite fighter of the crowd here at
the venue. You couldn't even count the number of signs with her
name on them. Katherine flexes her body for the crowd as they
start a "Let's go Katherine!" chant.
That's a ferocious stare down by Katherine McNamara while Eva
Habermann recites the rules. If looks could kill Dessie
Mitcheson would already be on her back.
Dessie Mitcheson is beating herself up in the corner before the
fight begins, smacking herself in the face, body and legs to get
ready for her scrap.
This is the first time these two have meet inside the cage.
It's hard to say who will be winning this fight. The specialized
media don't have a favourite and neither do I.
Katherine McNamara comes with a 2 fight losing streak.
The referee of the bout is Eva Habermann.

trash to Dessie Mitcheson, "I'll rip your brunette hair right

These two fighters are showing each other a ton of respect. They
pace around the cage, like two wild cats sizing each other up.

My God! Katherine is punishing Dessie's legs repeatedly! Those
kicks are like lightning.
Dessie needs to do something or the ref will stop this fight!

Katherine McNamara fakes a punch and launches herself over
Dessie Mitcheson.
Nice move by Katherine who clinches and pushes Dessie against
the cage.
We're trading sweat here, folks. These two ladies are locked
together in a clinch.
Insane action here! Katherine McNamara has fists full of Dessie
Mitcheson's brunette hair and is looking to inflict some pain!
Dessie's smart enough to escape from Katherine. She runs her
fingers through her hair, "Leave my hair alone! I just had it
styled!"
Wow...can you imagine being between these two fighters? Both
girls are really locked into this clinch.
Katherine McNamara's launching some bone breaking punches to
Dessie Mitcheson's ribs and chest while in the clinch.
Dessie blocks and tries to shove Katherine away, "Get the ****
away from me you psycho ****!"
Close in action here. Both fighters are tied up in a clinch.
Oh ****...things are getting brutal. Katherine McNamara has her
hands full of Dessie Mitcheson's hair and is about to pull down
hard.
Dessie is shaking her head like a woman possessed. She whips her
head back and Katherine's fingers slide through her hair. That
was a narrow escape.
Dessie is trying to counter now...
Dessie Mitcheson fakes a move and launches a nice uppercut.
Crack! It lands on Katherine's chin. What a bell ringer!
The clock says 4:10 in the 1 round
Dessie Mitcheson's one of those women capable of pounding you
into oblivion! She can beat the clothes right off you and pound
on your **** until they're black and blue.
A shake of the head from Dessie. She flicks her head back and
takes a few gulps of fresh air. She looks exhausted to me.
Lightning fast low kick from Katherine McNamara! She can really
move when she wants to.
Dessie receives a nasty kick to the inner thigh.
The clock says 4:35 in the 1 round
Dessie and Katherine circle around the cage. Both women staring
daggers at each other.
Katherine McNamara fakes a punch and shoots a takedown!
Dessie didn't see that coming and has been put on the ground!
Katherine McNamara is in open guard over Dessie.
Katherine McNamara is trying to better her position on the
ground and launches a couple of elbows against Dessie
Mitcheson's ribs and breasts.
Dessie treis to cover up but some big shots are getting thorugh!
The referee has to get between the two fighters to separate them
as the buzzer sounds. Eva Habermann better be careful or she may
get in the way of a punch or kick!

Katherine McNamara tries to take the action to her favourite
field as she tries to grapple.
Dessie swings and Katherine has to retreat. Nice avoiding that
grapple, Dessie.
Dessie Mitcheson throws a combo...
Katherine punches back but nobody connects.
Dessie is trying to counter now...
Dessie Mitcheson launches a couples of jabs and then a big hook!
Katherine blocks the jabs, but the last punch hits hard on her
cheek! She wobbles...she stumbles...and then falls to the mat!
Dessie is standing while Katherine is on the ground on her back.
The effort shows as Katherine tries to get back to her feet.
She seems a bit shaken, but Katherine is upright
again...American fans will be cheering.
Katherine climbs to her feet and is standing now. She does look
a little wobbly on those legs!
Katherine McNamara charges at Dessie Mitcheson throwing flurries
left and right.
Dessie gets out of the way. Almost running scared from
Katherine.
Katherine McNamara lets rip with a fast low kick! This fighters
legs are amazing to watch!

Katherine seems staggered and Dessie runs in to capitalize with
a bunch of jabs and crosses.
Dessie studies her groggy opponent looking for a hole in her
defense.
Dessie Mitcheson leans forwards and tries to grapple with
Katherine McNamara.
Dessie shows her clinching skills and grabs hold of Katherine.
The two women now clinching and looking very hot.
It's breast to breast action here. Both fighters are holding
each other close.
Dessie Mitcheson pushes away Katherine McNamara, she's trying to
keep the fight at striking range.
Katherine McNamara stumbles backwards and Dessie Mitcheson

Got her! Katherine is unable to remain on her feet and falls to
the ground.
Eva Habermann separates the fighters as the round concludes. Oh!
The two girls are shouting abuse at each other! Eva Habermann is
forcibly having to push them apart as she sends them to their
corners.
This round is maybe for Dessie, but it's close.

Dessie looks to be in very good shape. Her body looks amazing,
it's obvious she's been training hard for this event.
Dessie Mitcheson throws an uppercut.
It lands solidly making a meaty thud. Katherine's being used as
a punching bag.
Dessie has opened up Katherine! It looks like blood is starting
to flow from Katherine's Right cheek.
Dessie Mitcheson launches a body shot.
Katherine evades.
Brilliant combination from Dessie Mitcheson...
Punches are landing...she's forcing Katherine to try and defend
better.
Oh My! That is a nasty cut on Katherine's Mouth.
Katherine McNamara is a bloody mess! Dessie Mitcheson has really
pulped her up. I'm amazed Katherine is even thinking of fighting
on.

Dessie answers with solid punches and a taunt, "That all you
got, stupid cow?"
Dessie has inflicted a small cut on Katherine's Nose. There's
some blood coming from that wound.
Dessie has punished Katherine, the American fighter is
struggling to stay in the fight.
Katherine McNamara continues to bleed from that cut. It could be
affecting her vision. Referee Eva Habermann is watching that
bleeding out of the corner of her eye, she may be looking at
stopping this match soon.

the time for Dessie to press her advantage!

list now! Her Left cheek has taken some brutal punishment.

Dessie Mitcheson wins
That was a decent performance from Katherine McNamara tonight.
In my eyes, she read the fight well and wasn't afraid of
engaging. Hopefully she can level out her aggression and do
something about her hair, if she can manage that, then it's
possible she'll go far in the UCC.
A dominating performance by Dessie who took her best game
against Katherine. I have no doubt Dessie will be gracing the
cover of Total Knock Out in the near future.
MMA Internet sites are about to explode! What an awesome fight,
watching Dessie and Katherine going at it hard in a cage is the
kind of entertainment that I love!
