The Rules
By: umma-manager Date: July 24, 2017, 3:38 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
1. The fights for Stable Wars will take place after the main
card of an event. Only the four standard franchise events will
conclude with Stable Wars. (ie No Stable Wars after Team Warfare
or the tournament events)
2. Randomly choose a Stable to start (eg ILF).
3. The starting Stable (ILF) selects 5 fighters.
4. ILF picks one of the other competing Stables (eg BAB) and
picks 5 fighters from that stable to challenge.
5. The Stable being challenged cannot decline the challenge.
6. Each fighter from ILF that is fighting must challenge
against a BAB fighter that is the same or higher in career than
they are.
7. Example: A Rookie can challenge anyone. A Prospect can
challenge anyone, except Rookies. A Prime can challenge anyone,
except Rookies and Prospects. A Veteran can only challenge
Veterans and Legends. A Legend can only challenge a Legend.
8. Weight division doesn’t matter when making challenges. The
fights will be run as ‘catch weight’, which should eliminate any
weight advantage.
9. If ILF win the majority of the fights, they continue to the
next event.
10. If BAB win the majority of the fights, they take over from
ILF and continue to the next event.
11. The winning Stable cannot use any of the fighters that
just fought in the next event. And as long as a Stable continues
to win, they cannot reuse their fighters. This continues until
they either lose at Stable Wars or have gone through their
entire roster.
12. It is up to the Stable issuing the challenges to create
the fights. If ILF is challenging IFC, the ILF will have to use
its Rookies to make legal matches, because IFC has only Rookies.
If for some reason no matches can be legally made, then the ILF
gets it full roster of fighters back.
13. The winning Stable will get to choose the next Stable they
wish to challenge. They cannot challenge the same Stable they
just fought against.
14. Once a Stable has been involved in Stable Wars, unless
they won their challenge, they cannot take part again until all
the competing Stables have participated.
15. The declaration of which fighters are fighting and who
they are challenging will be done on a new forum board. Ideally
this would happen well ahead of the actual event.
16. Whichever Stable is currently the champion will hold a
trophy and that will be displayed on their Stable home page.

Minor Rules:
1. No title belt fights take place in these challenges.
2. Injuries are in effect. You cannot use or challenge an
injured fighter.
3. If a fighter changes their career level in the event
preceding Stable Wars, this is not taken into account when
issuing challenges. Because I will not increase that fighters
attributes until after the Stable Wars matches.
4. If a fighter is injured in the event preceding Stable Wars
I will allow them to fight. It will be too difficult to ask for
a replacement.
5. Matches will be 5 rounds, rather than the usual 3.
6. If the challenger wishes to, they can select a specific
referee for each match.

Example Events:
1. We decide to start Stable Wars at the end of the next SCQ
event.
2. Six Stables sign up for Stable Wars: ILF, BAB, Hellfire,
Vixens, WoF and PKC.
3. ILF is chosen randomly to start.
4. ILF chooses to challenge BAB.
5. ILF selects 5 fighters from its roster and 5 opponents from
BAB.
6. ILF must follow the ‘Career Rule’ when picking opponents.
7. At the end of the SCQ event the 5 ILF vs BAB fights are
held.
8. BAB wins 3 of the 5 fights. BAB is Stable Wars champion.
9. BAB issues a challenge to the Vixens.
10. BAB selects 5 fighters from its roster (excluding the 5
who were challenged by ILF) and 5 opponents from the Vixens.
11. BAB must follow the ‘Career Rule’ when picking opponents.
12. At the end of the DEF event the 5 BAB vs Vixens fights are
held.
13. BAB wins 3 of the 5 fights. BAB retains the Stable Wars
championship.
14. BAB issues a challenge to PKC (BAB cannot challenge ILF or
Vixens yet)
15. ….and Repeat…
Please note: The above actually happens twice per event, because
there will be two stables issuing challenges.
