Meeting of the minds

As everything has settled following the split of the Awesome
Aries team, the Management of Awesome Aries decided it wise to
gather the leaders of both stables together to discuss some
things. In the Aries locker room before the meeting, So Yeon
Ryu, Hee Young Park Sandra Gal and Ai Miyazato are getting ready
to go and work out and talk among themselves about what the
meeting was about.
So Yeon: Do any of you know what is going on and why there are
so many girls from that other stable are here.
Ai: Well I talked to Michelle earlier and she did not seem
stressed out and she told me that it was just a meeting with the
two teams leaders to discuss how we would mesh with two stables
using the same gym.
Sandra: I have seen some changes in the gym and it looks like
they may be splitting the gym in half.
Hee Young: It looks that way, I hope that we all can work
together and that we dont have any unwanted scenes.
Ai: Well the banter from what I have been hearing from the
other team seems to be they are looking for trouble. I hope
that I am wrong but I just get a bad feeling about some of the
things that I have heard
So Yeon: I think that it is just the media trying to stoke a
fire out of flames.
Sandra: I think so too, Either way we need to stand together
and trust our management to make the right decisions. They have
never steered us wrong.
Hee Young: We do need to stick together, I don't know what is
wrong with this Brenda Song, but she looks like trouble.
Sandra: Like I said just stand together Nothing can happen if
we all stand together.
Ai: I agree
The four then head out to the gym to start working out.
Meanwhile a small group has headed into Aries Management office.
The group consisted of Jennifer Love Hewitt, Bai Ling, Jarah
Mariano, Brenda Song and Koda Kumi. They were met in the office
by Aries Management, as well as Harumi Nemoto, Katharine McPhee,
Taylor Swift, Michelle Yeoh and Chrissie Chau. Chrissie and
Koda give one another a big hug while the others all shake hands
and begin gathering around the conference table.
Management: Okay Girls, lets get this started. Welcome to all
of you, I look forward to a productive meeting. Before we get
started, I dont want this to become a shouting contest or
anything of the sort. Are we all in agreement to have a
productive meeting.
The group all agree with a shake of their heads and the meeting
begins.
Management: Good. Since I have the biggest dealing in this
matter as Management of the Aries team and a financial backer of
the Wildcats team, I have the biggest voice in this matter and
as such I want my Aries team to understand that I have made some
changes at this gym. We have plenty of space and more room than
we really need for one team. So that said, I have renovated the
gym to accomodate both teams and both teams have complete
privacy from one another. Both sides have seperate locker rooms
and all of the equipment is new and both sides have all of the
same equipment, I have also set up a common area where the two
teams can talk and work out together. I know that there are
several girls on both teams who are friends like Koda and
Chrissie. We want this to be a good thing where we can all talk
and work together to make this whole UMMA organization a great
organization. Saying this I have certain rules that need to be
respected. There are to be no shenanigans going on here. This
is for our girls safety. Both teams need to respect one another
and I have tried to make this a matter of concern for my Aries
team and since most of the Wildcats team have worked in my Aries
team, I think that you know what I expect and I hope that you
can work with me on this.
Jennifer: Well you know me. I enjoyed my time with the Aries
team and I tried to lead the stable with all that I could. I
realized my brief indiscretion with Ai and I have apologized not
just to her but to the whole team for letting them down. I see
this as an opportunity to better myself. I have talked to the
girls in the Wildcats stable and I have made it clear that You
all have been more than gracious enough to help us out with the
use of the gym and I am sure that we can all respect one
another's space. But we do have some problems that need to be
hashed out. For instance I am having a small problem with Jamie
Lynn Spears. I really don't know how much control I really have
over her. She seems to have a mind of her own and I am afraid
that she is going to do something that she will regret. Her and
I have had some pretty heated words but for now she seems to
realize that I am the leader of this stable and if she want's a
job, she had better shape up. I hope that she gets control of
herself because she is a really talented fighter and I would not
want to have a more serious talk with her about her career here
in the Wildcats stable.
Management: I understand your predicament. Jamie is a pretty
tough fighter and I saw a ton of potential with her when I
brought her on in the Aries stable. She did not have a good
attitude to work well with our team and I really feel for you
Jen. I know you can handle this situation with the
professionalism needed to be the leader of your stable.
Michelle Yeoh: I know that you are a great leader Jen, We have
worked together here with the Aries team and I have a ton of
respect for what you have done to start this new team so if you
need someone to bounce some ideas off, you know how to contact
me and I would help if i can.
Jennifer: Thanks Michelle, It was really hard to leave the
Aries team because of people like you who was always there to
help out.
Management: Great. Thats what I want here. I do know there
will be problems and spats with two stables working together.
All I am asking is for things to be kept inside the confines of
our gym. I need the Wildcats leadership to be just that. Bai
Ling I know that you and I have not seen eye to eye at times but
I want you to know that I respect you as a bright and promising
young lady, I hope that you will work with Jennifer as hard as
you worked with us here in the Aries stable.
Bai Ling: Thanks for that. You know that I always appreciated
what you have done for me. I was lost and you gave me a chance
when I joined the Aries team. I will always love my former
teammates from your stable. You all have been great to me and I
am sorry for how things happened and I had to leave. I hold no
ill feelings towards you or anyone in the Aries organization.
It was just something that I had to do
Jennifer: I think that speaks for all of my stable. We all
appreciate what you did for us in giving us all a second chance
and I am positive that I speak for all of my stable. I think
that we can all work together and make both of our stables into
top notch stables with tons of titles between us.
Management: Thats what I want to see. We all need to work
together to make both stables as competitive as possible. Lets
hear from some of my leaders, you all have been quiet.
Harumi Nemoto: I think that we can all make this work. I am
concerned about some of the bickering going on with some of
things being said in the media. I hope that it is just some
members of the media taking some things out of context
Jennifer: We have not always been friends Harumi, but I truly
hope that we can work together on this. I have addressed my
stable about this and If i learn of something happening I will
address that situation. I do know some things have been said
mostly from my team and I will look into this.
Harumi: I hope that we can do that Jennifer. Even though we
have had our share of battles, I have always respected you as
the great person and fighter that you are. If you lead as well
as you fight, I know that we can all work together.
Jennifer: Same for me, You have given me some of my toughest
fights and I respect you for that.
Management: Good, Taylor or Katharine, what are your thoughts
on the matter at hand.
Katharine: I have some reservations about things. We really
need to be cautious about this. I know things look better but
my concern is for some our girls having targets on their backs
and I think we all know who those girls are.
Management: Good observation Kat. I am concerned about that as
well and I hope that things work themselves out. I will be
meeting with my team to see if I am missing something and I need
my leaders to step up and inform me of anything going on that I
need to address. I expect Jen and her team leaders to do the
same. We don't need another situation like what caused us to
fall apart. That is why I expect both stables leaders to step
it up and address anything that arises. I trust Jennifer and I
need the rest of my leaders to trust her as well.
Katharine: I just said that it was a concern. Jen and I have
worked together long enough for her to have my total respect but
I know that there can always be a bad apple out there who comes
in and causes trouble.
Taylor Swift: I feel the same. It is just a concern and I know
that it will be up to us on the floor to make sure that
everything is kept in line. I know that Katharine has the same
concerns that all of us do. This is a new thing for a lot of us
to work with another stable who could be opponents and rivals.
Katharine: That is what I am saying exactly. This is a new
thing and we are asking two seperate stables to work together
and train together. There is still a lot of tension with some
of our girls. I just don't want to see both of our stables to
lose control and lose the target that we all have to strive for
and that is to be the best we can be.
Jennifer: I have worked with both of you and I hope that you
know that I will do my best to make this all work.
Management: I know that this will work because we have some
great leaders on both sides. My door is always open and you all
know that. All I can ask for is for you as team and stable
leaders to do the best you can keep things moving forward. I
appreciate your concerns Taylor and Katharine and you know that
you can talk to me anytime. I expect a lot from my leaders. I
can't see everything so I have to rely on the leaders to keep me
up to date and to handle what they can. I know that there will
be problems, we need to keep those to a minimum and to move
forward. Both of our stables have a lot of talent. We can all
work together and make this work.
Everyone agrees and the meeting comes to an end. The group all
goes around and shakes hands and hugs and start to leave. Koda
Kumi comes up to Aries Management and asks to talk with him/
Koda Kumi: I just wanted to thank you for something. I had a
great time at your tournament a few month's ago. I really did
not expect to come out the champion because there was a lot of
talent in that tourney. I thank you for giving us a chance to
show our talent. Us Asian girls sometimes don't get the respect
we deserve and I thank you for giving us that chance.
Management: Thanks Koda. You really showed a lot of spunk out
there and I was very impressed. I appreciate you joining us for
that tourney and I hope that you return to defend your title at
the next time we have that tourney.
Koda: You can count on that, I look forward to the
opportunity. I do have one request. tell Ai Miyazato that I
love her and how she fights. She is one tough little girl and I
would love to work out with her sometime.
Management: Wow I did not know you felt that way. I think she
would love to work out with you. She has been working with
Chrissie Chau and some our other newer talent and she is always
looking to better herself and I know she respects you and what
you have done for all Asian fighters.
Koda: Wow now I am blushing. Ever since I first saw her in the
cage, I knew that she was a super talent and I hope that we can
work together even though we are on different stables.
Management: I think that will help the moves we are making as
we share this gym. I know Ai will be excited for this chance.
They then shake hands and share a hug before the two move on.
