After a few days of talking among themselves, the Awesome Aries
team came together to file their vote for the new team leader.
Management led the vote as he put in his vote for his choice for
the future team leader and one by one the rest of the team cast
their votes and when the votes were counted, Harumi Nemoto was
chosen by the team to become the new team leader. Now Harumi
was headed to Managements office for her first real face to face
talk with her hew boss. Harumi was obviously nervous as she
waited outside his office waiting to be called in. Michelle
Yeoh showed up and sat down next to Harumi.
Michelle: How do you feel as the new leader of this stable
Harumi.
Harumi: I really don't know what to expect and how I will be
accepted. I know that you and Miyazato both deserve this more
than I do and I don't want to let anyone down.
Michelle: Don't worry about me or Miyazato. You will find that
both of us will be your biggest supporters. Most of us on this
team know you and know that you will be fair and just and will
lead this team as we move forward and really don't worry about
management. He is just a big softie and if you do a good job he
will tell you that. If you don't do your job then he will come
down on you very hard. Plus you have Katharine and Taylor who
are the current team leaders and they are always willing to help
out whenever you need them. And I am here as well, I know this
team pretty well and we can sit down and talk anytime you want
some input. We will be there to help you, now you are in charge
and I know that you will do a great job.
Harumi thanks Michelle and they hug when Katharine McPhee and
Taylor Swift walk in and they also trade hugs with Harumi and
congratulate her.
Inside Managements office he has been in conversations with Bai
Ling and Natalie Gulbis about the vote.
Management: So let me get this clear and correct before we move
on. You two want out and why is that.
Bai: We don't agree with the vote for team leader. I have a
lot of respect for Harumi and I know that she is one of the
toughest girls in this league. But we don't think that she is
capable of leading this team.
Management: I hear your point but the team has spoken and they
have made their wishes known with Harumi getting their vote.
Who is this we that you are talking about, I only see you and
Gulbis here in front of me. What is your reason Natalie, I
thought that you were happy with this team especially since you
were a significant part in quelling some of our earlier
disturbances.
Natalie: I really hate to do this. You have been very fair to
me and you have always treated me with respect. I just don't
know if I agree with the way things are going with this team. I
love these girls that I have stood beside in the cage and I have
made some good friends within this team. Right now though I
just don't feel right with this team.
Management: Okay that is fair, where do you go from here, What
will you do if I do release you from your contract with this
team.
Natalie: I don't know. I love this sport and like I said I
have a lot of friends with this team. I will find another team
that I agree with and I don't want to leave on bad terms with
you or anyone on this team.
Management: Fine, We have a couple of big events coming up and
I don't want to make any decisions until those events are done
and who knows maybe you will change your mind. Now back to you
Bai. You kept saying "we" who is this "we you speak of.
Bai: There are 11 of us, 12 if you count Natalie here. None of
us agree with what is happening with this team.
Management: Okay but who are those 11, and why now. Have you
thought this through? Harumi will be a good leader for this
stable and I have every confidence in her.
Bai: Maybe that is the problem, Harumi and I don't see eye to
eye. Some of the other girls don't agree with her either like
Rio Natsume. Trust me it is just better if you release us and
let us be. Give us a chance to blossom into big time fighters
without having to worry about protecting ourselves.
Management: Fine I don't need anymore headaches like we had
with the Miyazato situation. Lets get through the next couple
of events and then we can talk about letting you go. Is that
fair to you,
Bai: That will be fine.
Management shakes hands with both Bai and Natalie and they
leave. He then motions for the group in the waiting room to
come in.
Management: Congratulations Harumi, You are new to our team
and we are not going to throw you into the fire but we are going
to get you started on something that needs to be taken care of.
I trusted Jennifer Love Hewitt to take care of this Miyazato
situation. I want this put to bed once and for all. I don't
care what you have to do to fix this but I would feel much
better about this whole situation if Miyazato and Musgraves were
talking instead of fighting one another.
Harumi: I think I can handle this one. I have an idea that
might work. I just need you to say its okay for me to sit down
with those two and see if I can help them settle their
situation.
Michelle: Do you realize the severity of doing that. Miyazato
and Musgraves do not like one another and they cannot even sit
in the same room together without having words.
Harumi: Actually I do, They are two competitive girls, but I
think I can handle those two without much problem but if I am
not able to control them then I need you not to question my
actions as stable leader.
Management: That will be fine with me as long as you are there
to watch over them.
Harumi: Thanks for the confidence, I promise that I will get
those two under control within a week.
Management: Interesting. No one has done that since it started
so good luck with that. You have my blessing as long as it gets
settled and I dont want to lose either of those two.
Harumi: I will get this fixed, You have my promise.
Katharine: Good luck with that Harumi, If you are able to get
those two to agree you will make huge strides into gaining the
confidence of this stable. If not you will have a tough road to
haul.
Taylor: Yeah good luck. Those two may be small but they are
like a pair of pit bulls when you put them together.
Michelle: I think that I speak for all of us here when I say
that we are here if you need us.
Management: Exactly. That goes for everyone in our stable. We
all need to stand together and get behind our new leader and see
what she can do. I know that I have a lot of faith in her, that
is why I brought her into this stable. Unfortunately we have
this is just a small needle in the haystack. We have a very
serious situation that is going to cost us some of our
teammates. I was just talking to Gulbis and Ling and they both
want out of their contracts with this team. They say there are
12 girls in all who want out and I have decided to honor their
wishes. I don't want anymore problems just as we are about to
fix one problem. The 4 of you are my leaders, I need you to
step up and find out how deep this problem really is.
Michelle: What is the problem. I thought that everyone seemed
satisfied with the choice for our new leader.
Management: I thought that too and I think this is just a small
situation that can be quelled quickly especially if we just let
our members go who want to leave. I don't know who all is
involved with this and I don't want any problems with this.
This team needs to come together if we are going to move
forward. Once I have sat down with this group who wants to
leave, we will need to get everyone on the same page. I have
set up a meeting with Jennifer Love Hewitt and her friends and
see if they are behind this. I hear from some fairly reliable
sources that she has started a stable of her own and I am pretty
sure that she is behind this uprising.
Michelle: Oh Wow. That cannot be a good thing:
Management: That is why I need my leaders here to get this
under control before it gets ugly and nasty and we lose this
stable. I will not allow that to happen but like I said, this
team needs to come together. Over the next few days, we are
going to see some changes. I want this stable to become great.
I can't do that if there is constant problems to deal with.
Lets just get this done with limited damage. We can become the
great team that I imagined when I started this stable. Now is
the time to get it started and it will all begin with Harumi
dealing with Miyazato and Musgraves. I have confidence that
this will happen and Harumi you have my faith. This is where
the dirty part of this begins and I hope ends quickly. We can
do this. Now is the time and we have our work cut out for us.
Management then gathers his leaders around him and they have a
short prayer before they depart and get started on the work
ahead.
