What just happened

It was very early the next morning after the devastating news
that Jennifer Love Hewitt was behind the whole attack on Ai
Miyazato. Management had spent the whole night there at the
training facility debating with himself the pros and cons of
dropping some of his talent. Earlier in the evening he had
received a call from Miss Miyazato and he had done something
that he was not normally known for. He was very frustrated and
tired and took some of his frustrations out on his young
Japanese superstar. Ai had hung up in tears now fearing that
she had failed and was now going to be let go from the team that
she truly wanted to stay with. Now that it was morning he had
some work to do and he went to the breakroom to make some coffee
and get ready for what he now had to do. He filled his coffee
mug and headed back to his office where he was met by a very
upset looking Michelle Yeoh.
Management: Im glad to see you are here Michelle we have to
talk.
Michelle: You bet we do.
Management: What is up with you now.
Michelle: You know perfectly well what is up. I asked you to
talk to me before you made any decisions. Now Ai is fixing to
walk out the doors and you have made a tragic mistake.
Management raising his voice a bit: Go get her now and both of
you get into my office before I lose my temper and fire all of
you.
Michelle walked away to go find Ai who was at her locker
clearing out her locker and preparing to leave.
Michelle: Lets go Miyazato, it looks like you may be gone.
Ai with tears dripping down her still swollen face from the
beating she had taken at OFN and from what had happened the
previous evening went to hug Michelle who had to hold her friend
for a couple of minutes before she could regain her senses.
Michelle: Come on sweetie, It may not be as bad as we thought.
Lets keep our heads up and go talk to Management and you may
just get put on suspension or something like that.
Ai: Do you think so. He was yelling at me so I know that its
not going to be good.
Michelle: Lets just go and talk to him. I made him promise not
to make any unnecessary decisions without talking to me first.
He trusts my judgement and I think we need to give him the
benefit of the doubt. And remember he was pretty upset and he
was probably tired so lets get this over with. I will be here
for you no matter what he has decided.
Ai: Okay but Im pretty sure that I'm out of here.
Michelle leading the way to Management's office: Dont think
like that Sweetie. Have confidence.
By then they were standing outside Management's office and
Michelle knocked on the door.
Management: Come in
Michelle: Okay here she is.
Management: You need to leave. I need to talk to Miyazato
alone.
Michelle: But she needs me.
Management: Do I have to repeat myself. This is between
Miyazato and myself.
Michelle giving Ai a hug and a disgusted look at Management
walks out leaving Ai with Management.
Ai: I'm sorry.
That was all she could get out as Management with his voice
raised told Ai to lock the door.
Management: First off Its me who is sorry. I was in a really
bad place when you called and I had no right to yell at you like
I did and that is all my fault. I ask you to forgive me for my
indiscretion.
Ai's was stunned but was still steeled for bad news: Okay I
forgive you but I.
Again Ai was stopped by Management holding up his hand: Im not
through yet. I need you to understand me and i need that to
happen right now. You want to know why I was yelling at you.
Well it stems from the fact that I have seen you slowly develop
into a really nice fighter. You don't back down from any
challenge that i set in front of you and though you have a lot
to improve on, you have natural talent and I will not and I
repeat I will not allow you to risk injury by attacking every
girl who insults you.
Ai: I had every right to go after Jennifer and Kacey as well.
They tried to hurt me in more ways than one.
Management: That's what I am getting at. Yeah you had every
right to go after Jen and Kacey. But what have I told you. I
seriously need you to see the bigger picture. What if they had
seriously injured you when you attacked them. I happen to run
this stable and I will not allow one of my stars to risk an
unnecessary injury because my star was not thinking. This goes
for all of the girls in this stable. that is why I have made
this rule to settle any disagreements in the ring. I will
always stand by my team and support them no matter what. Now
its up to you to make your decision how you want to handle this.
Ai: Im confused. Its up to me, what do you mean.
Management: You have a choice. You can abide by my rules here
or you can walk away and i will have no ill feelings. But I
need to know what you want. I have a lot of faith in your
skills and I know that one day you will be a great fighter here.
I want you here with this team. Its your decision.
Ai confused but beaming: I think you know how I feel. I love
this team. You have treated me very fairly all along the way
since you offered me my first contract. Im truly sorry for
causing you to have such bad feelings. I want to stay with this
team if you will still have me.
Management gets to his feet as does Ai and they hug one another.
Management: Please Ai just dont put yourself in any unnecessary
situations ever again. I dont want us to ever have this
conversation again, Is that clear.
Ai: its clear.
Management: Open the door and let Michelle in. I'm sure she is
about to have a cow out there.
Michelle is let in by the now beaming Ai and they hug,
Michelle: Okay now I'm confused
Management: Sit down both of you. Michelle you know me better
than anyone in this stable. Have i ever made a drastic mistake
without discussing my options.
Michelle: I was worried because you yelled at Ai and upset her
and I think it had both of us scared and if you had let Ai go I
would probably left with her.
Management: I understand and I apologized to Ai.
Michelle looked to Ai who shook her head affirmitively and she
said yeah he did.
Management: I don't really need to apologize to you but I thank
you for keeping me on track. I was truly ready to let Miyazato
go. I was upset with her and if you truly understand me you
know why. Lets just end this chapter in our lives by saying
that I need you all to trust me and abide with the rules that I
have set. Those rules were made to protect you. Okay lets move
on. Jennifer has really let me and this team down. As of the
minute she sets foot in the facility I need her in this office.
Understood. Now I need to be alone for a few minutes before Jen
arrives.
Ai and Michelle stand to leave and again hug one another. Then
both go to Management and hug him before leaving.
It was nearly 30 minutes later when Jennifer Love Hewitt arrived
and went straight to Management's office. By this time several
other members of the team had arrived and Michelle filled them
in on what was happening but they needed no words as they heard
the loud angry words coming from Managements office. This went
on for nearly 15 minutes before Jennifer stormed out of the
office and bumped into a couple of the girls as she stormed to
the locker room to get her things and leave the premises.
Management: Michelle get me Musgraves in here right now.
Michelle goes to find Kacey and brings her to the office and
leaves Kacey to face Management's wrath. They hear more yelling
and then things quiet down making everyone wonder what is
happening behind the closed door. This went on for over an hour
before Management came out and told everyone to head to the gym
for a team meeting.
The stunned team heads to the gym all talking among themselve
about what was going on. Kacey even joined the team sitting
with Chloe Moretz, Keri Russell and Beverly Mitchell, but no one
seemed t oask any questions. thirty minutes later Management
joined the team and began the meeting by introducing, Chrissie
Chau, Reon Kadena, Harumi Nemoto, Nozomi Sasaki and Namie Amuro
Management: Im sure that we all know these 5 girls and they are
now a part of this team. I want each and everyone of you to
make them feel at home here in this stable as you were all
welcomed when you joined our team. You also know about the
situation that we are in. As of today, Piper Perabo, Maggie Q,
Estella Warren and Jennifer Love Hewitt have been released from
their contracts with this stable. This was a vvery serious
situation that I have been steaming over for the last couple of
days. I did not want to let these girls go but it was their
decision to leave after they decided they wanted to run things
their way. Also as of today, Mia Khalifa and Kacey Musgraves
are on an Inner team suspension that means they are on a very
short leash and if anything else happens then it will be their
turn on the chopping block. I am very serious about the rules I
have set. I have openly discussed this with our newest team
members and they have given me their word that they will do
their best to abide by those rules. I dont think that I need to
remind all of you of these rules and if so then you know that my
door is always open to discuss any questions you might have.
Are there any questions any of you might have.
Michelle: What are we going to do about a new stable leader.
Management: I have thought this over and have decided to allow
you to decide a new team leader. I don't want this taken
lightly. I want honest opinions on who you wish to lead you. I
am open for talks with any of you and will allow anyone to
accept or deny leadership. The new leader will be directly
responsible to me and will answer to me. Now you all can go and
talk among yourselves and I look forward to hearing who you want
to be your leader. Thats all for now. Lets go and try to make
this a new start okay.
The group gets up and gathers around Management for a quick
prayer for leadership.
