       A Madman? - Chapter 8
By: The Vixens Date: July 19, 2016, 9:48 am

Typically Harvey had neglected to tell Wilson what his plan was.
The sun had set a few minutes ago and Wilson had not stepped
foot out of the car almost all day.
Harvey was just playing Agar.io on his phone while Wilson
stepped outside as he finally couldn't take it any more. Before
long his phone began to vibrate; Harvey allowed his cell to be
eaten and answered the call. It was Kate.
"If you're calling about me not filling last weeks paperwork, I
don't want to hear it," Harvey said without even waiting for a
       hello.
"Its not that," Kate said after a few seconds silence. Her voice
seemed cracked; like she had been crying.
Reluctantly Harvey asked what was wrong.
"You how I lead my Team to a beat-down last month?"
"Yep," Harvey answered. "That was f**king hilarious."
If Kate was hurt by that comment she didn't say. "And then just
last week almost all my girls didn't even make it past the first
       round in the tournaments?"
Harvey laughed. "I know, I watched it all happen on the T.V.
       Seriously, you're sh*t as a leader."
"I've done some thinking," Kate continued. "And I've decided to
       resign."
Harvey stopped laughing instantly. "This had better be a joke."
       "No. It isn't."
"Why now? Why do you want to quit now?" Harvey asked.
"What you said just now are true statements," Kate answered. "I
am not fit to lead the Stable. I've left my resignation on your
       desk."
"Well, I refuse to accept it."
       "What?! Why?"
"Because I need you Kate," Harvey said. "Not just because I
don't want to do more work but because... I like having you
around. Even if you are a nagging b**ch."
"That doesn't make me want to stay."
Harvey ignored that remark. "The Open Fight Night's are still
       happening right?"
"As far as I know, yes," Kate answered. "Why?"
"Because I want to wager with you," Harvey said. "If your
fighters give an average performance at the event. You stay. If
       not, then you stay."
"I wouldn't exactly call that wagering Harv," Kate said. "That's
just making sure you win either way."
"I know you potentially have a fight with Khloe Kardashian,"
       Harvey started.
       "It's Kylie Jenner actually."
"Whatever, their pretty much all the same, anyway here's what
I'm suggesting. If you lose that fight, you stay in the Stable
but... you'll no longer be the leader. Just one of the girls.
       What do you say?"
       "Well..."
"Don't give me an answer now I'm busy." He hung up just as
Wilson got back in the car.
"I just saw Richelle and Danneel leave," he said. "What now? The
       buildings empty."
"Now we go home," Harvey said. "Then we come back here tomorrow
at around five o'clock in the morning."
"Fair enough." Wilson started the car and they drove off back to
       the police station.
