Private meeting before Blood on the red Carpet

Following the team meeting Dennis pulled Jennifer love Hewitt
and Michelle Yeoh aside and to his office.
Dennis: Okay that is over and done with, Do we think that we
made ourselves clear and understood.
Jennifer: I think that the meeting went well. Everyone seemed
attentive and agreeable. With Ai and Kacey not at the meeting
because of what happened, The problem is still there and I think
that unless we sit down with both girls, the problem will not go
away.
Dennis: My thoughts exactly. By the way I thought that i made
it clear that I wanted Musgraves in her this morning. Where is
she.
Jennifer: I called her this morning and she said she would be
here around 10 and its almost that time now.
About that time there is a knock at the door and Kacey Musgraves
does not wait for anyone to answer and barges right on in.
Kacey: Yeah that's right I'm here and not feeling well so lets
get this over and done with.
Dennis: Jennifer and Michelle you two need to leave and let me
talk to Kacey alone.
Jennifer and Michelle look at one another but get up to leave.
Dennis: Okay Musgraves what seems to be the problem here, I
know that you and Miyazato have a mutual disagreement about a
past match, and last years Open Fight Night. We both know that
is not what ignited your brawl with Ai yesterday so fill me in
on what the problem is
Kacey. Are you sure that you want to hear this.
Dennis: Well yes I do. I heard that you had some things to say
to Jennifer when you met with her and then walked out in a huff.
I want to get to the bottom of this and if there is a problem
then maybe we can work to fix that problem.
Kacey: Okay sit back and listen. When you brought me into this
organization. i thought you had some faith in me since you set
me on our initial team warfare team. Then it seems you lost
that faith and changes were made including you dropping me from
that team. Before you say anything, I understood those changes.
You have also brought in a lot of new and seemingly interesting
talent and all of a sudden i felt left out. Then when i tried
to help Miyazato out, she took it personally and things went
south from there. I no longer feel like I am welcome on this
team. I was attacked earlier by a couple of thugs from I don't
know where and now I am being blamed for doing something that
yeah maybe something happened but i was afraid for my life.
Dennis: Okay lets get this from that point. For starters, Why
am I just now hearing about this now after all of this has
happened. If you were attacked in the parking lot, why did you
not say something,
Kacey quickly cutting in: Im sorry for that but everything was
happening so fast.
Dennis cutting in even quicker: That is not an answer that I
want to hear. We have an open door policy here and I never saw
anything bad going on. We set up a match for you to settle
things with Miyazato and I thought that would be the end of
that.
Kacey again cutting in: You dont understand!!! I just told
you that i wasn't feeling part of this team. When Lepisto put
Miyazato on the shelf with a rib injury, I was the one who
stepped up to do the honorable thing and challenged Miss Lepisto
to a match. I guess me doing something honorable and trying to
stand up for a teammate was a good thing. Then Miyazato got
beat up a second time by Lepisto and everyone felt sorry for her
for the second time. Then Miyazato took it out on me and we
ended up in a brawl. Again everyone was more concerned for
Miyazato and no one even said a word for me. Thats all fine and
good. Then i get attacked in the parking lot and again everyone
is standing behind Miyazato.
Dennis: Okay stop for a second. I was not aware of any of this
going on. If you felt like you were not a part of this team
then why did you step up for Miyazato at Open fight night last
year.
Kacey: Like I said I thought i was doing an honorable thing and
tried to help out my teammate.
Dennis: Well all I can say is Im sorry about that I promise i
will make this right. But why did you do this to Miyazato and
cause her to lose a match which yes she might not have won
anyway. But doing something to her drink was not a good thing
to do and she could have been seriosuly injured.
Kacey: I told you i was scared I did not know where to turn,
The team seemed to be shunning me and I did not know where to
turn. I was then scared to say anything to you because Ai is
your "baby" and you are out there trying to only protect her.
Dennis: That is a bit unfair. I try to do things for every
single girl in this stable. Why would you not come to me and
ask me what to do.
Kacey: Why so you could side with Miyazato and get rid of me.
Maybe that is what this is all about. The two girls who
approached me to do this said that it was a test. Maybe you
were testing me.
Dennis: OMG. Now why would I do that. I think that you are
reading way too much into this whole situation. I do not like
the fact that now you are trying to blame me for what has
happened over the last few days. Okay here is what I want. I
understand that you have turned over all of the messages and
notes given to you about this whole situation, Give me a chance
to look this over and we can talk again later. I do have a lot
of respect and care for you. Now its your turn to show me some
respect. If you do not like what is happening then you can
leave the team. But before you make that decision I think you
should examine your actions and where you think you should stand
on this team. Will you do that for me.
Kacey: Okay i will agree to that. What happens if our two
friends show their faces again and they attack me because im
sure that they have heard what has happened and will be showing
up again soon.
Dennis: If that happens then you immediately get with me and we
can take the appropriate action at that time.
Kacey: Okay, I agree with that, can i go now.
Dennis: Yes, Send Yeoh and Hewitt back in.
Kacey walks out and lets Michelle and Jennifer know to go back
in.
Dennis: Okay dont ask about all of that. That is all between
Musgraves and myself. I do need to know something, How are the
girls perceiving me out there.
Michelle: Well i don't know about all of the girls on the team
but the ones I have talked to all think that you are fair and
square. Why what is going on.
Dennis: Well Kacey has the opinion that Miyazato is being
showed some kind of favoritism. If that is true then I need to
know the truth and if others on the team have that same feeling.
Jennifer: Please, Kacey has a problem, she is very insecure and
she is just trying to tear this team apart.
Dennis: I dont think that is true, Kacey is a good girl and has
a sweet side. I got some vibes from her that is beginning to
make me wonder, She honestly thinks that no one on this team
likes her and that she is not welcome on this team. If that is
true we need to change our thinking. I have bent over backwards
to make this team a prosperous. The talent on this team is not
the biggest or the best, We all need to work harder to make
this work. I am ready to make that turn but i can't do that if
we have two girls who do not like one another and are trying to
tear one another apart. That is why i have that rule that all
situations be handled in house. Jennifer I am putting you in
charge of getting Kacey on track. I want her given an honest
chance. So do not let me down on this. Michelle I want you to
meet with Miyazato today and get some input. Tomorrow i want
Miyazato in my office and I hope that i don't get the same vibes
from her that I got from Musgraves. Before I let you go you
realize that Blood on the Red Carpet is coming very quickly and
I dont feel that Katharine, Taylor and Jessica are quite ready.
Katharine and Taylor seem to be in a state of disorientation. I
have not seen this until now. Katherine is a great fighter and
im worried that she is distracted by what has gone on. It may
be too late to get this righted but i need all three of them to
just go out and give their best.
Michelle: I will get the message to Katharine, I already have a
meeting with Jessica set for tomorrow and I know that Taylor
will get herself back on top.
Jennifer: I will talk to Taylor. I think she is still down from
her title match a couple of months ago
Dennis: If that is the case then I need to know and i need her
to get back to herself. Okay we each have our tasks for the
next few hours. I expect updates and information as soon as
possible.
