A few minutes later A distraught looking Kacey Musgraves arrived
at the Awesome Aries gym and immediately began looking for
Jennifer Love Hewitt.
Kacey: Jennifer i need a few minutes of your time. I think
that I am in some trouble.
Jennifer: What is it Musgraves. We have started our workouts
and you were late, You missed out on So Yeon Ryu's birthday
celebration.
Kacey: I'm truly sorry for that Jen, but i have been sick all
morning and i really need to talk to someone urgently.
Jennifer: Please tell me that this is not part of the things
that have been going on here, We are all under some stress as we
try to find out what happened to Miyazato.
Tears began streaming down Kacey's face and Jennifer puts her
arm around Kacey and said: Okay Kacey lets go sit down over
there and you can tell me what happened.
Kacey: Im sorry to ask this but i think we need some privacy.
Jennifer: Okay we can go to my office.
Jennifer leads the way as Kacey looks around to make sure that
no one is watching. Once inside the office Kacey takes one last
look out the door and saw no one around.
Kacey then turns her attention to Jennifer
Jennifer: Okay Kacey what's up?
Kacey: Like I said earlier, I think that im in some serious
trouble and i need to see what my options here are.
Jennifer: I understand that now what is the problem.
Kacey still with a few tears streaming down her cheeks: Jen i
don't know where to start, i will just start with the basics.
Im the one who did this to Miyazato,
Jennifer: OMG, Kacey what in the world did you do.
Kacey: Im sorry but i was caught in a bad situation and its
gotten worse.
With that she hands over an envelope that she was given by the
two masked bandits, Jennifer opened the envelope and read the
contents of the note inside.
Jennifer: Okay what is this, Im not catching on yet.
Kacey: Well i will tell you from the start, Several weeks ago
i was called by someone that I don't know and didnt recognize
their voice telling me to meet some a couple of people in the
back alley and i would be told what to do from there. This was
a couple of weeks before team warfare so i guess I was stupid in
meeting these people there. They gave me that note and told me
to follow those instructions to the TEE or else and then they
slugged me to show they meant business. Well I did exactly what
they asked and you can call me naive and super stupidfor what I
did but i truly thought it was a practical joke, I did not know
that what happened to Miyazato was going to end like that.
Jennifer: Yes Kacey that was pretty stupid and maybe you were
naive maybe you were scared, but MY GOSH, you did this to your
own teammate, Miyazato is a super nice person who works hard and
you know that we all stand behind her, What do we do from her
is going to be up to Management. He is a true to life Ai
Miyazato fan thats why he picked up her contract and hired her
for this stable. I need to know right here and now, Why would
you do such a thing.
Kacey: Well you know what has been going on between Miyazato
and myself. We have something to settle between ourselves and
maybe that is why i did not think twice about doing this to her.
She has come into this organization and everyone just loves
her. I thought i would be the one for that honor. Call it what
you like but i did not plan to intentionally harm her.
Jennifer: Well what would you call it. Ai could have been
seriously hurt or even injured.
Kacey: I don't know, It was an opportunity and now I am
trouble. and thats not the worst of it.
Kacey hands Jennifer another envelope.
Kacey: This is what i was given after the deed was done and
they were happy with the outcome. At least according to my two
attackers.
Jennifer takes the second envelope and opens it. She pulls out
a wad of cash and lets out a gasp.
Jennifer: Wowww, I think that this is more serious than either
of us realize.
With that she hears a knock at the door and it is Michelle,
Michelle: Jen we have a situation and I need to talk to you.
Jennifer: Give me a minute i will meet you in your office.
Jennifer closes the door and turns back to Kacey: Okay
Musgraves I need to get to the bottom of this, Stay away from
Miyazato even if she tries to to talk to you just stay away. I
will get back with you later.
With that Kacey departs and Jennifer heads to Michelle's office.
Jennifer: Okay Michelle its your turn.
Michelle: Huhh what is wrong I just need to talk with you about
something.
Jennifer: Im sorry Michelle. Im just having a bad morning.
Michelle: Anything I can help with.
Jennifer: Not unless you can read minds and find out what is
going on here. I just got through meeting with Kacey Musgraves
and we have a potential situation brewing here.
Michelle: Well I hate to be the bearer of bad news but im
fixing to make it worse.
Michelle then fills Jennifer in on her conversation minutes
earlier with Chloe Moretz.
Jennifer suddenly felt frustrated and slammed her fist down on
Michelle's desk: What is going on here Michelle, Are we being
tested here, Is this an attack on our wonderful stable. I will
stand up for any and all of our girls but now this is happening
and Im not happy about this.
Michelle: What are we going to do. You are the team leader but
i honestly think that this is more serious than even you can
deal with.
Jennifer: Okay what is you reccomendation, We have talked to
everyone involved except for Miyazato about this.
Michelle: You know as well as I do that if Miyazato finds this
out, we could have an explosion much worse than any bomb going
off.
Jennifer: I know that as well. but you and I also know that
she will find out and that would make things worse if one of us
isnt the one to tell her and keep her under control.
Both Jen and Michelle are silent for a few seconds as they
ponder what to do next.
Michelle: Okay Jen you are the leader, I agree with you and my
recommendation is to take this to management and let him decide
what to do next. I will volunteer to tell Miyazato when it is
time but I may need some help to keep her in control.
Jennifer: Okay, we won't send you in alone, Ai is a sweet
girl and we all love her in our own way. You may be the best
person to talk to her since you are her good friend. I will let
you decide who to go in with you. But first we will take this
to Management and move from there.
The two exchange a quick embrace and Michelle says a quick
prayer for both of them before they head for managements office.
