Birthday celebration

Just posting a quick Birthday celebration for Ai Miyazato whose
birthday was on June 19. This works with my story line so enjoy
reading and stay tuned for what happens next in this saga.
Ai was laying in her hospital bed trying to get some sleep. She
had spent a few extra days there after the doctors had decided
to watch her for a few extra days due to concerns for a
concussion. Finally her nurse stopped by to check on her.
Nurse: So how are you feeling today Miss Miyazato.
Ai: Im feeling great and im ready to get out of here. Any word
from the doctor if he is going to let me out of here today.
Nurse: Thats why im here. We are going to get your papers
ready and we will get you out of here today.
Ai: Great I will call my teammates and have someone come get
me.
Nurse: Too late we already took care of that.
Ai: Thanks you all have been great and have treated me really
well.
Nurse: Thats our job. we just hope not to see you back in here
any time soon
Ai: you dont have to worry about that I will be fine.
With that the nurse leaves to get the discharge papers done and
get everything ready for Ai to leave. Ai was in the process of
trying to get dressed when Michelle Yeoh showed up and seeing
that Ai was struggling to get dressed, she helped her teammate
and friend get dressed and ready to go. They made light talk
while they waited and Ai was kind of surprised that Michelle
never mentioned anything about it. When the nurse returned with
the paperwork she helped them get everything signed and some
instructions the doctor had given for Ai in case she started
feeling badly. Finally the nurse gave Ai a huge hug and told
her Happy birthday and Ai thanked her. Ai then left with
Michelle who still did not say anything about her birthday and
they were nearly back at the hotel when Ai asked her why she
hadnt said anything and Michelle faking no knowledge about her
birthday said she had forgotten with all the things that had
been going on. Finally they arrived at the hotel and Michelle
helped Ai get her things and helped her inside the hotel.
Michelle led the way towards a meeting room where she said that
they were having a meeting before heading back to the states.
Ai was caught completely by surprise as the door to the room was
opened to cheers of Happy Birthday Ai Miyazato were shouted out
and a raucous chorus of Happy Birthday was sung by her teamates.
Tears of happiness and surprise streamed down Ai's cheeks and
Michelle hugged her friend close and told her that she would
never forget this special day for her best friend. The team
then lined up to offer Ai their own personal Congratulations and
Happy Birthday thoughts until towards the end of the line was
Kacey Musgraves who strolled up and held out her hand for Ai to
shake and when Ai did this, Kacey had a few extra thoughts for
Ai.
Kacey: Happy Birthday Miyazato. Dont think this changes
anything between us. We have a date at Open Fight Night that I
have not forgotten about.
The two held onto this handshake for several long seconds
glaring at one another before Michelle sensing the tension
stepped between the two and looked at Ai.
Michelle: Its your birthday Ai. Lets not ruin your special
day.
Michelle then turned to Kacey
Michelle: As for you Miss Musgraves this is not the time or
place for you to say something like this so lets just drop it
before someone gets hurt.
Kacey turns away with a smile and the party continues with
birthday cake and punch before Jennifer stands up trying to gain
the attention of the team.
Jennifer: I know that I speak for everyone when i say Happy
Birthday Ai Miyazato we all hope that you have a super great day
and to enjoy this special day. Its great to see you up and
about and we are sorry that you had to spend so much time in the
hospital but we had to get this celebration set up and it was
helpful to us to have you in the hospital.
This brought a cheer from her teammates and brought a smile from
Ai.
Jennifer: But now we have to start getting serious about things
and get back to the states. As we all know Blood on the Red
Carpet is our next show. we congratulate Taylor Swift and
Katharine McPhee as well as Jessica Sanchez on being included in
this excitement but then we have a huge Open Fight night
celebration. Its time to start thinking about anyone that you
would like to challenge so that we can start making things
official. I also understand that our top notch management team
has decided to sponsor a Asian tourney that we hope that all of
our Asian girls decide to enter. This is a great chance for
each and everyone of our Asian girls to make a name for
themselves. We are also opening up the tourney for some of the
other teams and I understand that there have been some pretty
tough girls who have mentioned they would like to be involved in
the tourney. So here is your chance to see how you match up
against the toughest Asian competition that there is. So now
lets wrap this up and get ready to head home and Ai, you know
that we are all behind you and we are all happy that you are
okay after such an ugly show at Team Warfare. Dont take this
loss personally, we have all suffered some bad losses, Its part
of what makes this organization that we fight in so special.
Lets have a short prayer now and get going. Ai you have the
honors here you can say the prayer for us.
Ai gives a short prayer and the stable finishes packing up and
heads to the airport to head home.

This was a cute little story, and it only made what I saw in the
last story clearer. The way this group sticks together... once
they find out what happened to Ai... well, heaven help the
guilty party. :)
