OFN 2015 DRAMA PART 13 - Freakin Out
Kara was relaxing at her private suite preparing a hot bubble
bath and enjoying a nice glass of wine when her phone starting
going off. Her first instinct was to pick it up but she needed a
break. She needed to get away from everyone especially after her
struggle with Sophia. Whoever it was could simply wait as this
was her time and she really needed to relax and recuperate. The
wine, bubble bath, candles and some calming music had Kara in
bliss as she cleared her mind and started drifting off. Pleasant
thoughts flowed through her mind when someone started pounding
on the door. Kara turned up the music but the persistent
knocking refused to go away. Maybe Dragon came to visit? She got
out of the Jacuzzi and loosely dra*ped a towel over her dripping
wet naked body showing as much cleavage as possible. The thin
terrycloth towel was too small for her curvaceous figure as it
barely covered her firm derriere. Kara went to the front door
ready to find out who was being so persistent. She was
disappointed when she peeked through the peephole and saw it was
a woman on the other side of the door.
       Kara: "Nobody's home! Go away."
       Whoever it was kept knocking.
       Kara: "Nadie en casa. Vete!
Kara recognized the voice on the other side of the door as her
       Associate Team Leader Audrey Allen.
Audrey: "Open up Kara! I know you're in there."
Kara: "Come on Audrey, what do you want?"
Audrey: "It's Sophia, the police detained her and threw her in
       jail!"
Kara quickly opened the door and let Audrey in.
Kara: "No shi*t, Jail! I thought they'd only question her."
Audrey: "Yeah I know! I can't believe it myself! They picked her
up at the airport and threw her in jail. Ohhhh...this is bad,
really bad. I just know she's going to come looking for you as
soon as she is bailed out. I'm just making sure she's wasn't
       already here."
Kara: "Audrey! I can take care of myself.
Audrey: "Honestly Kara, it looked like you got the worst of it
last time so I just wanted to make sure you had some backup."
Kara: "Why in the hell does everyone keep saying that!?"
Audrey: "Well...If I didn't pull her off you she would have
smashed your face into the carpet. It didn't look good from our
       perspective."
Kara: "She wasn't going to pound my face in, trust me. I
appreciate your concern but Sophia is smart, she's not going to
come over here and attack me, especially not after getting out
       of jail."
Audrey: "Oh man! This has gotten out of control. Maximum Risk is
just around the corner and the Vector Arena will be crawling
with fighters from both stables. I just know fights are going to
break out. I'm afraid someone is going to end up in the Hospital
       before this is over."
Kara: "We're not going to start anything and I want you to be on
your best behavior. Understand! I'm sending out a directive to
the Bunnies, anyone who engages with the Den will be suspended."
Audrey: "I just know they're out to get me! I'm worried that I'm
       going to get jumped."
Kara: "Maybe you shouldn't go anywhere alone."
Audrey: "Oh shi*t! Now I'm freaking out. You think they'll try
       something?"
Kara: "I'm just messing with you for interrupting my relaxing
evening. We'll all be fine. I'm sure they won't try anything.
Now can I go back to my bubble bath?"
Audrey: "I'm sorry boss, I just don't want to see anything bad
happen to any of us. They're a bunch of psycho's, especially
Penelope and Marie. Let me know the minute you hear anything,
       promise."
Kara tried to go back to her bubble bath but the water had
cooled and the moment was gone. She slipped on a negligee, a
pair of furry slippers and finished the bottle of wine but her
mind was still racing. She actually felt bad for Sophia as she
never planned on things getting this carried away. She tried to
put herself in Sophia's shoes and knew she had to call Dragon
and let him know that she truly was sorry. It was late but he
would be there especially with Open Fight Night only a few days
away. Kara called and prepared to charm the Aussie Stable
       leader.
Kara: "Hey handsome, this is Kara. Before you hang up I'd like
to tell you how sorry I am for Sophia's detainment. It was a
complete misunderstanding and the Police totally overreacted and
had no right to throw her in jail. Is she OK?"
Dragon: "Oh, hey Kara. Yeah, she’s fine. That really got out of
hand. And you did promise me…”
Kara: "I know Dragon, I tried my best to keep my promise to you
but I had to defend myself. I didn't want to call the
Authorities either but she is out of control and she said she
was coming back for some more. I swear all I wanted was to do
was negotiate but she didn't listen to a word I said."
Dragon: "Wait, really? But, why? Are you okay? Did she really
say she was coming back? I can assure you she won’t be. I’ve
made it very clear that I don’t want the two of you crossing
       paths at this point.”
Kara: "I'm good I guess but I don't know what her problem is
with me. I really tried to be as nice as possible but she seems
to have it out for me. Do you have any idea why?"
Dragon: “No, really, I don’t know. I can’t imagine her actively
looking for a fight with you.”
Kara: "I wished you would have come instead of her. I know we
would have worked things out and had a good time afterwards.
Come on, let's you and me get together and we can put this
       behind us."
Dragon: “Well, um… it would be nice to get this resolved so our
stables can move on amicably. I regret things getting to the
       point that they have.”
Kara: "I know you didn't have anything to do with any of this. I
hope she doesn't do this sort of thing to you all the time. It
must be hard for you to keep tabs on her. Are you sure there's
nothing I can do to make it up to you?"
Dragon: “I don’t… um… it’s not about making anything up to me.
The best thing we can do is get this situation sorted and have
our stables reconcile. If you have any ideas as to how we do
       that, I’m all ears.”
Kara: "How bout we get together before Maximum Risk. I heard
Auckland has a lot of nice Restaurants downtown. I'd really
think both of us would benefit from a little face to face time."
Dragon: "Well, it can't hurt. It would be nice to work all of
this out, and I agree that would be much easier in person."
Kara: "My only condition is you don't mention a word of this to
your trouble making Stable Leader. She's only going to try and
stop this and make things worse."
Dragon: "I...I dunno. I'm sure Sophia wants this all behind us
       as well."
Kara: "Are you sure? To me it looks like she has her own agenda
and is trying to undermine you. It'll be our little secret. What
       she doesn't know won't hurt her. We'll have a good time, I
       promise."
Dragon: "Kara, I don't need a good time. I need to resolve the
conflict between our stables and ensure everything is running
smoothly. Can you help me do that?"
Kara: "Sure, we'll iron this out and come to an agreement. Then
       it's a date."

Wow, that Dragon... clear as mud, and twice as thick. Something
tells me the next brawl is not going to be between Sophia and
       Kara. :P
Excellent stuff, as always, Becca. ;)

Many thanks to Richelle on helping with this next part! This is
set just after OFN. Not long after Sophia was detained, but
before Dragon and Kara have their little meeting in Auckland...
       **************************************
       OFN 2015 DRAMA PART 14 - A Little Clarity
Danni, Richelle, Sophia and Dragon gathered their assorted notes
and paperwork from the table as their post-OFN chat broke up.
"So, we'll see who the real redhead is tomorrow then, Miss
       Harris?" Richelle asked.
       "Count on it," Danni replied.
A wry smile creased Richelle's face.
"Sounds good," she said with a hint of excitement.
As they turned to go, Richelle noticed Danni was eyeing Sophia
with a troubled expression painted on her face. It wasn't hard
to figure the source of it, either. Sophia had nearly erupted
several times during the conversation at the mere mention of the
Bad Ass Bunnies, or, more specifically, Bunny leader Kara
       Monaco.
Danni had passively, but urgently, warned against pushing the
matter each time, and Richelle had taken that to mean Danni knew
why the topic was so sensitive for her friend.
Now, it seemed, that might not be exactly the case.
"I'll see you back at the hotel," Richelle said, silently
offering the chance for Danni to talk to Sophia alone.
"Sure," Danni said, still focused on her Den counterpart.
"I know it's only a quick trip to the airport, but remember we
have an early flight," Richelle said.
       "Uh-huh."
       "Danni," Richelle said earnestly.
The tone pulled Danni from her thoughts, and she took a second
to rewind the conversation in her head.
"Early flight," she said as her brain found the words she'd
heard but not processed. "Got it."
Richelle rolled her eyes lightly and said, "C'mon, Dragon. Walk
me out. We can discuss whose obsession is more out of control."
"Well, obviously it's yours," Dragon said.
"Oh? And why is that so obvious?"
"The RSI roster is nearly all Disney. You may as well be
       sponsored by The Disney Channel."
"Oh, this from the man who has a roster full of superheroes and
supervillians," she said as the two stable owners stepped out
into the hall. "Who are you sponsored by? DC Comics?"
"I actually think we're more Marvel than DC."
"You really don't know how win an argument, do you?"
Once they were gone, Danni turned to Sophia.
"So, you were even more b*tchy than usual on the Bunny thing."
Sophia let out a loud sigh. She knew Danni was asking a question
in there somewhere. She glanced over at her friend, looking
terribly unimpressed with the topic of conversation.
"Gawd, that b*tch. She took it to a whole other level." Sophia
slightly lifted her top to show some faint bruising around her
abs. "Right there? That was her."
Stunned, Danni stared at the bruising as if she were hypnotized.
Slowly, she sank into a chair at the table.
"I don't... Are you saying Kara ATTACKED you?"
Sophia dropped her top carefully over her abs again and
collapsed into the seat beside Danni.
"Yes! She's out of control. And then she had me arrested. Trust
me, I have more than enough reasons to hate on that conniving
       sl*t."
       Danni's head was still spinning.
"Had you arrested?" she stammered, gesturing toward her friend's
now hidden injury. "For what? You were the victim."
Sophia seemed to pause a moment, blushing a little red at the
       same time.
"Well, um... we kinda... we got into a scrap." She bit her
bottom lip, obviously feeling a little guilty. "Things got
heated and we may have beaten up on each other for a while. It
wouldn't have been hard for her to tell the authorities anything
       she wanted."
Danni's expression darkened as she got the sense she was getting
an oversimplified version of this tale. Like anyone, Sophia had
her quirks, but frequent dissembling was not among them. She
was more likely to blurt out more details than she had to than
       to hold back.
Unless she was hiding something, that is.
"A scrap?" she said. "You mean you tried to defend yourself,
       right?"
"I DID defend myself," Sophia shouted, crossing her arms
defensively as she leaned back in her chair. "We were arguing
and she threatened me. But then, it kind of, I dunno, we just
       got angry."
"I think maybe you need to tell me the whole story," Danni said
       sternly.
Sophia looked a little unsure. "Well, I met with Kara in her
office, to try and sort all this stuff out. I should've known I
couldn't reason with her, but I tried, and soon we were
disagreeing on... everything. Then she bumped into me
chest-first and suggested we lock the door and see who the
better woman was. A fight was what she wanted all along. Well,
she got one. And the better woman was me," she finished flatly.
If Danni was impressed by her friend's triumphant tale, it
       didn't show on her face.
"That doesn't sound much like Kara attacked you," she said. "It
sounds more like two grown women acting like idiots."
Sophia's mouth fell open in offense. "What?! Danni, she tackled
me to the ground. Then fought dirty. I wasn't going to let her
beat me to a pulp! She started it! I just... I just finished
       it."
"Tackled you to the ground? Was that before or after the
       terribly offensive chest bump?"
       "Well... after."
"I see. I noticed you haven't mentioned what you did,
in-between. You must have had some sort of response when she
       insulted you that way."
"Um..." Sophia was a little red, embarrassed all of a sudden at
her behavior now she was being interrogated by her friend. "I
bumped her back... and slapped her. She deserved it anyway. No
       good tramp she is."
Danni closed her eyes and tried to keep her composure. After a
moment or two, she decided she really shouldn't have to.
"Dammit, Sophia!" she yelled, slamming her open palm down on the
table hard enough to make the Den leader jump. "How could you
be so stupid? You went there to try and end this thing, and you
end up getting in a catfight with Kara?"
Sophia couldn't help but shout in response as she feebly tried
to defend herself. "She doesn't want it to end! I'm telling you.
I never stood a chance. She only wanted me there so something
like this could happen. She's trying to make me look bad. She's
trying to turn Dragon against me. She's an evil harlot, and
she's not going to stop. "
The conversation had worked Sophia into an enraged frenzy now
and she sat fuming in her chair, her whole body huffing up and
down in time with her breathing as she seethed with anger. "What
else was I supposed to do?"
Danni turned slowly and met her friend's gaze.
"Walk away," she said firmly. "You were supposed to walk away."
Danni closed her eyes and slowly shook her head, mostly upset
because of the situation she now found herself in. She didn't
want to come down on Sophia like this, but she couldn't just let
       it go.
"Dragon sent you there to represent his stable. You let him
down. You let your teammates down. You said Kara wanted to
make you look bad. Well, guess what? You helped her do it.
And believe me, you look terrible. My god, Sophs... you got
yourself arrested! Do you think Dragon was impressed by THAT?"
       "Well, I..."
"You proved you were the better woman? Not from where I'm
standing. I don't care how your little scuffle turned out.
       Right now, she's the winner."
That was the last thing Sophia wanted to hear. Kara was the
winner. As Danni's words sunk in, Sophia's breathing slowly
levelled and now she looked hurt. She hadn't quite thought it
through so methodically, and having her friend lay it all out
for her plain as day was making her deftly embarrassed.
Sheepishly slinking back in her chair, arms still crossed
defensively, she almost looked to be on the verge of a nervous
       breakdown. "I don't know... I wasn't... I just didn't think
about that. She made me so angry. You don't know what this b*tch
       is like..."
Danni was caught between continuing her rant and wanting to hug
her friend. She still couldn't believe Sophia had gone and done
something so stupid, but she could also see the pain growing on
       her face.
She decided to split it down the middle by trying to hammer home
her point with a softer mallet.
"I'm sorry," she said in a gentler tone. "I got carried away.
But I just don't understand what you did. Bri, Rach, Woz...
you're their leader, hon. They were counting on you to bring
this silly feud to an end. Instead, you're going around
slapping people like this was Tree Hill High, and Kara stole
your boyfriend. What's worse, you almost sounded like you were
       proud of it."
"Hmphff... she wishes. Cheap sl*t." Sophia was staring at
nothing, arms crossed, frowning and avoiding eye contact, as if
thinking back on something. "Dragon shouldn't have sent me over
there. He should've known. He's so f*cking oblivious." She
finally glanced back at Danni. "We almost got into a scrap here,
too. But still he sent me over there."
Danni raised an eyebrow, surprised at the tone of Sophia's
       response.
"First of all, let's try to remember this is about you," she
said. "I think Dragon had a right to expect you to represent
the stable properly. And, if you were worried you couldn't, you
       should have told him that."
She thought again about what Sophia had said, and another
       question popped into her head.
"I guess you have a point, though. It's no excuse for what you
did, but, if you and Kara got into it before, then you'd think
he'd be smart enough not to send you off on your own."
Then, she remembered Sophia's 'better woman' comment.
"Wait," she said. "You didn't try to talk him into it, did you?"
"What?! No!" Sophia looked genuinely shocked and offended. "I
tried to talk him out of letting me go alone. I knew she'd try
to bait me, and she did." Sophia sighed loudly and massaged her
temples with one hand, ruing the whole situation. "I'm sorry I
fell for it. I know it was silly."
"That's the part that made me so mad," Danni said. "I'm not a
fan of Kara's tactics, and I sometimes think the Bunnies believe
the whole world is out to get them. But you're better than
that. Why did you fall for it?"
Sophia glanced up to meet her friend's gaze. If she was
embarrassed before, this was something else. "Um... I dunno...
she wouldn't stop. She wouldn't back off. She knew what she was
       doing."
She thought back to Kara's comments and her actions while at the
Den and it infuriated her. She needed to get this off her chest
and she knew it. It wasn't allowing her to think straight, and
she knew Danni was right. She needed to talk about it, and here
was Danni, who had done so much for her already. If she couldn't
trust Danni with, it, who could she?!
"She... well... she was trying to manipulate Dragon. She was
manipulating him. It worked. Look at me! It worked! She knew
       exactly what she was doing."
Danni heard the way Sophia's tone changed, and sensed that they
were suddenly talking about more than just her fight with Kara.
       "Manipulated him how?"
"By being a hussy," Sophia huffed angrily. "She flirts with him
like there's no tomorrow and she'll do anything at all to get
her way. She doesn't care about our stables getting along. It's
better for her if they don't. That way she has an excuse to keep
meeting with him, pretending like she's doing the right thing.
It makes her look good, while she's just being a sneaky wh*re!"
Danni laughed sadly and shook her head.
"Jesus," she said. "This really is like high school."
She held her hand up in front of her, and began to tick off
       fingers as she spoke.
"Let's see, we've had b*tch, wh*re and several variations on
sl*t. There was also harlot — which is a word that's simply not
used enough, if you ask me. And now comes flirt and hussy — a
word I haven't heard anyone say in almost twenty years. Now, do
you wanna call Kara the 'C-word' and get it over with, or are
you gonna tell me what's really going on, here?"
       "Don't tempt me," Sophia smirked.
The Den stable leader sighed aloud, trying to ready herself to
open up. "Danni, it's Dragon and me. It's kind of... it's
getting complicated." And with a sheepish frown, she let the cat
out of the bag. "And Kara's trying to come between us."
A puzzled expression crossed Danni's face.
       Complicated? How was it...?
       Oh.
       "Wait. You and Dragon?"
Sophia meekly nodded her head in confirmation.
       "Yeah. You see? Complicated."
"Huh," Danni said, as a sly smile creased her face.
She immediately dismissed any thought of telling her friend that
a relationship with someone she worked with was a bad idea. She
was in no position to know how Sophia felt. Besides... let's
just say she understood how it could happen.
       "How complicated are we talking?"
With a nibble of the bottom lip, Sophia tried to list the
complications rationally. "Well... he's my boss and we've got to
work together, for a start. Anyone could question whether that's
good for the stable. Then there's that blonde floozy. Then
there's, you know, the fact that, um, we haven't really
       discussed it."
       "Ah," Danni said. "I see."
She rubbed at her face as she considered what she should say.
She decided to start with the advice she felt most comfortable
       giving.
"Well, first things first, this sh*t with Kara has to stop."
       "But..."
"I know," Danni said. "She's p*ssing you off. But, what I said
before still stands. You're first responsibility is to the Den.
For your teammates, and for Dragon."
Sophia glanced down at her hands, fidgeting a little. "She won't
stop. It's like she knows how to get to me."
She leaned over on the desk, chin resting on downturned hands,
thinking more about what Danni said. "I know, I have to help the
Den first. But if I don't stand up to Kara somehow, she'll do
whatever she wants and bury the Den anyhow. I don't know what to
do. She might be a conniving b*tch, but she's good at it."
Sophia glanced up at her friend with tired eyes almost
pleadingly. "You're wise. What would you do?"
Danni shrugged off the comment about her wisdom. She had come
to accept the fact that she would never see herself the way
       Sophia did.
"Kara can't bury the Den if you don't let her," she said. "You
have good teammates and a ton of talent. You guys just need to
keep doing what you're doing, and you'll be fine. If Kara
decides to start shooting her mouth off in public, well... let
that be a distraction to her stable, not yours. We went through
that not too long ago with the Hellfire group. Richelle got a
little pissed when Gillan said something about some of our girls
intentionally trying to hurt their opponents, but, aside from
that, we just ignored all the noise. They eventually got bored
with it, and then, surprise, surprise... they got better, too.
They've got a few divisional champions, and some other top notch
talent, now. So, it's all about what happens in the cage, not
       the press room."
Seeing her friend wasn't convinced, Danni pressed on.
"You can't let Kara get under your skin this way. You have a
good team behind you. Show them how to handle this stuff like
pros, and they'll stand with you. As long as you guys stick
together, Kara can't get to you. And, if she becomes
relentless, well... I think people will see her for who she
really is. And Dragon will stand up for you. Hell, if it
really gets bad, Richelle will stand up for you, too."
"Well, that didn't help either," Sophia grumbled, running a hand
through her hair in frustration. "When Kara met us at the Den,
we got into an argument, and Dragon took her side. How do you
think that made me feel? I couldn't just do nothing. I know
you're right, I just, I couldn't help it. I wanted to tear the
b*tch apart. If Dragon did stand up for me, I dunno, maybe I
       would have reacted differently."
"Well, then you're not going to like hearing this, but you're
problem is not with Kara. It's with Dragon."
Sophia rubbed at her eyes with both hands, and Danni could see
       the stress mounting.
"I don't think you have to lay all this on him at once," she
continued, "but start with what you need to do your job. He
needs to back you if you're going to be effective.
Sophia nodded resignedly, head still in hands. "He usually..."
Sophia paused to exhale deeply. "He usually does. I mean, he
always does. But, that f*%king tart..."
She allowed her words to fade off as she massaged her temples,
eyes closed. "He temporarily suspended Marie for an incident
that happened with Kara before OFN. He said he might have to
suspend me as well for what happened with Kara." She glanced up
sadly at her friend again. "I really f*cked this up, didn't I?"
Danni put a hand on Sophia's shoulder.
"No, I don't think so," she said. "You made a mistake. It
happens. Bri, Woz and Rach... they'll probably each want to
give you a good smack in the head, but they'll support you.
Provided you get your head on straight."
She thought carefully about what she wanted to say next.
"This thing with Dragon... I think you need to take your time
with that. You need to focus on this mess, right now. I'm not
sure what to say about Marie, and it's not really my business.
But that's what you need to be focusing on. Find out what's
going on there, and make sure she's got herself together.
Getting herself suspended isn't helping anyone."
Then, it was time for the moment she was most worried about.
"And Sophs," she said delicately, "when I say take your time, I
mean it. You've been down this road before."
Sophia blinked as if she wasn't sure she'd heard correctly, but
she clearly had judging by the hurt look on her face. "Ow! Low
       blow much?"
       "I'm just sayin'..."
"I know... I know. I'll be careful." Sophia sighed, tiredly,
clearly exhausted by the last couple of weeks. "I can't just
give up on that basis though, can I?" It was rhetorical, but she
was visibly contemplative, particularly given her friend's
advice and apparent concern over the whole ordeal.
"I would never say that," Danni replied. "I'm not even hinting
that. I just sayin'... relationships like this are complicated
enough. If you think this is for real, you need to treat it
that way. Give it the time and effort it deserves. First thing
you need to do is untangle it from this other stuff. And
whatever you do, don't let Kara force you into doing stupid
       things."
"Gahh... I really don't know how I'm going to ignore her. She
just won't get out of my business. Danni, she'll do anything to
get me out of the picture. I mean, anything." Sophia groaned.
"Time and effort is fine, but, dammit, I told you this was
complicated. I'm such a fool." She buried her resigned face in
her hands again, shaking her head in disbelief at the recent
       turn of events.
       Danni shook her head.
"You're going to ignore her because you're better than she is,"
she said. "Dragon hired you to be his stable leader, and that's
what he needs from you before anything else. That includes
setting him straight if he's not holding up his end. He's the
owner of the Den, not a Bunny groupie. And if Kara's shiny
blond hair is blinding him to that, you need to wake him up and
let him know. Not in front of her, but first chance you get."
"That's what I'm afraid of," Sophia grumbled. "That I'll have
to." She made a sour face, almost pouting. "I mean, I'm not
worried about actually calling him on it. I just.... I hate that
I might have to. I hate the idea of him finding anything
redeeming about her, and I hate the idea of having to compete
with that filthy b*tch. I don't know that I've ever had more
contempt for someone in my life."
       "Sophia, look at me."
Sophia pulled her head out of her hands and looked at her
       friend.
"I meant what I said. You're better than she is. You don't
have to prove it. Just know that it's true, and act that way."
Danni cupped her hand and lifted Sophia's chin.
"If Dragon doesn't see that. Well... then you're better than
       him, too."
Sophia's lips slowly curled up into a faint smile. "Thanks. And
       thanks for setting me straight."
She leaned forward and opened her arms to give her friend a very
grateful hug. "What the hell would I do without you?"
"I'm sure you'd be fine," Danni said with a smile. "But if you
want to remember some of this gratitude the next time you're
punching me in the face, that'd be okay."
"Hang on, you beat me! I think maybe it's difficult for me to
show gratitude while MY face is being repeatedly bashed in,"
Sophia jested with a light giggle and a poke of her tongue.
Danni laughed as the two rose to leave.
"Well, YOU started it," she said.

OFN 2015 DRAMA PART 15 - Bunnies Celebrate
Open Fight Night had finally come to an end and the Bad Ass
Bunnies celebrated in their locker room. Champagne flowed freely
as the Bunnies congratulated each other on one of their most
successful nights to date. Tournament wins by Amber Heard, Megan
Fox, Jayde Nicole, Jessica Ashley and two wins by Kylie Jenner
set the tone for the night. Joanna Krupa also had a historic
evening facing 6 title holders and soundly beating 5 of them.
Newly appointed Talent Coordinator Alison Waite was instrumental
in tonight's success as she somehow kept the 34 fighters ready
despite all the chaos and confusion of having over 150 fights to
       keep track of.
What stood out for Kara was how her team handled their bouts
with Dragon's Den. She tried to strong-arm her fighters into
winning at all costs and wasn't sure how they would handle the
tremendous amount of pressure she placed on them. Dragon had
assembled one of the more formidable stables and his fighters
were making big strides. Samantha Hoopes came out of no where to
win a Hit the Beach title and now Josie Maran joined his growing
list of champions. Kara knew her girls needed to be at their
best and nothing pleased her more than watching them celebrate
knowing they didn't let her down. She sat back and sipped on her
champagne while observing the festive atmosphere. Everyone
seemed to be on the same page and even the fighters who didn't
fare well were celebrating. At last she finally felt that this
was her team and they would have each others backs no matter
what. Kara had managed to keep them together after Carrie
Keegan's coup attempt and she refused to let Holly Madison's
scathing ordeal become a headline. She wasn't about to let the
unscrupulous Sophia Bush have her way and tear her team apart.
Now it was time for her to join them for a little light hearted
       fun.
Kara had never been a cheerleader and for the most part she
thought they were tawdry and lacked substance. She was never one
for rah rah speeches so giving a pep talk wouldn't come easy for
her. She prepared to address her troops as they gathered in
front of their lockers in various states of dress. As always
Audrey Allen was there by her side.
Audrey: "Gather up everyone. Kara's got a few words to say."
The Bunnies started chanting Kara! Kara! Kara! Kara! Her cheeks
       flushed from all the attention.

Kara: "Thanks Audrey. I want to start out by saying that what
happens in the Bunny Locker Room STAYS in the Bunny Locker Room.
We can let it all out tonight and have as much fun as the law
allows but tomorrow we start getting ready for Maximum Risk.
Have at it ladies but remember you have your stables reputation
to uphold so keep your tops on and have a blast."
Loud cheers and a few woo's erupted from the celebrating
Bunnies. A top*less Chelsie Aryn jumped on a bench and cupped
her hands under her large breasts jiggling them up and down
while swinging her hips around. Kara chuckled as she looked at
Chelsie. She rolled her eyes while satirically shaking her head
       in disapproval.
Kara: "First off some official business. I need everyone to
start getting ready. Get your make-up on as the lights up there
are brutal. We're up after Raccoon. I have no idea when that
will be and I doubt he does either as he tends to go off on
tangents. Lisa will try and call up as many of you as possible
but she may have to cut it short as it's getting late. I'll
start out by introducing Juliette and then I'll bring up Alison.
After that be prepared for Lisa to call your name but keep it
brief so everyone gets a chance. Alright, now the real reason
I'm here. I couldn't be any more proud of you than I am right
       now. We went 105-and...
Kara looked at Audrey for an answer.
       Audrey: "105-47"
Kara: "105 and 47 tonight and kicked some major ass along the
       way."
A loud chant of Bunnies Rule! Bunnies Rule! Bunnies Rule! echoed
       through the locker room.
Kara: "Now.... as most of you know we are at war with the women
       over at Dragon's Den."
The entire room erupted with loud boo's and hisses.
       Audrey: "Everybody quite please."
Kara: "While we didn't win every match against them we ended up
       going?"
Kara looked over at Audrey again who held up 2 hands and then 3
       fingers and mouthed 10-3.
Kara: "10-3 against them. Is that right, 10-3?"
Alyssa Arce shouted out: "Kara kicked their fuc*king asses!
       Wooooo!"
Kara: "I know some of you feel that this doesn't involve you but
trust me when I say it does. When they attacked me they
disrespected everyone in our Stable. They are classless and what
happened to me could easily have happened to any of you. By
attacking me they feel that they're better than us. Can you
believe that, they think they're better that us!"
Kimberly Phillips shouted out: "Stupid bitc*hes!"
Kara: "They feel that they can push us around and do whatever
they want. Tonight we showed them that we are here to fight and
       not to be messed with!"
Gemma Lee Ferrell started chanting Dragon Duds! Dragon Duds!
       Dragon Duds!
Kara: "I want to make it clear that while we got the best of
them tonight, we have to keep our guard up. No one is to engage
them or be tricked into any fights outside of the cage. I'm sure
they will be a bit pis*sed off and looking for some redemption
so stay clear and keep your mouths shut. Now we won't be
fighting any of them until after Maximum Risk so keep your
distance at all costs and watch your backs. I'll be meeting with
       Dragon and.."
Loud boo's and some nasty comments were shouted out towards
       Kara.
Kara: "Wait, wait now, I'm meeting with Dragon and I think he'll
       be looking for a resolution."
Jaclyn Swedberg shouted out: "Don't trust him! Don't trust any
       of them!"
Kara: "It's only a few of his fighters that are causing all our
troubles. I'll see what he has to offer and you never know, we
could put this silly feud behind us. If not we'll just have to
keep showing them what it's like to mess with the Bunnies."
Kara started writing the names of the 10 victims on a easel pad.
       Ashley Benson Jenna-Louise Coleman
       Abbie Cornish Nina Dobrev
       Caroline Wozniacki Natalie Portman
       Emily Blunt Olga Kurylenko
       Gal Gadot Rachel McAdams
Kara: "These are the members of Dragon's Den that we beat
tonight. That's a list of some very very talented fighters
including 3 of their title holders. They thought that they could
just show up and beat us. The next time we meet they'll be
       better prepared."
Bianca Balti: "Don't forget about RSI."
Kara: "Thanks Bianca, and by the way, really nice win against
Amanda Seyfried. As all of you know, RSI has been a major thorn
in our side but tonight when went 7-3 against them. That
probably hasn't happened to them since Stabbed in the Back and
all of us remember what happened then. Enjoy it while you can as
I'm sure Richelle and Stephanie will have some sharp words for
       their fighters."
Audrey leaned over and whispered in Kara's ear, "They said
       Raccoon is wrapping it up."
Kara: "OK, Raccoon is finally done. No, what? He's got 3 more
parts. Really, he's been up there for over an hour. Alright,
excellent work everyone. Make sure to stay out of trouble and
keep em covered. Please see Juliette before you leave, she'll be
       handing out your Christmas bonus."
Everyone started going crazy. Bunnies were hugging and jumping
around as the situation quickly got out of hand. Towels were
thrown around and locker doors were slammed open and shut as the
Bunnies let loose. Kara knew that she wasn't about to calm
anyone down so she left to get ready for her press conference.
She only hoped she would make it through the night without
having to bail anyone out. The last thing she needed was an
Australian version of Vegas or any more dealings with Detectives
       Morris and Haynes.

OFN 2015 DRAMA PART 16 - The Dinner
It took Kara over 2 hours to prepare herself for her meeting
with Dragon. She wanted to look her best so she took her time
paying attention to every detail. She made sure her make-up was
perfect and her hair was flawless. She picked out the perfect
low cut black evening dress, some sheer french silk nylons and a
pair of 5" stiletto's that showed off the toned muscles on her
long sexy legs. A few spritz of Clive Christian No. 1 and she
was ready. Her plan was to distract Dragon as much as possible
and hopefully take him off his game. A few well timed tweets and
some pics of her and Dragon at a romantic dinner would
completely send Sophia over the edge. This would be the ultimate
payback for the lying little bi*tch for having someone attack
her at the Den and then have the cojones to come to her office
and try to finish the job. Kara knew this would be a dirty move
but Sophia wasn't playing fair either and deserved what she had
       coming to her.
Kara's phone rang and her ride was ready so she took in a deep
breath and made her way to the lobby. She took in the sights of
scenic downtown Auckland and couldn't remember seeing such a
lovely and inviting town. Before she knew it the Escalade pulled
up to Mollies, a posh Hotel and Restaurant in historic Ponosby.
She looked at her phone and was pleased that she was fashionable
       15 minutes late.
Kara walked into the crowded bar and looked for Dragon. Mollies
was very upscale but it was very loud as a Rugby match was on
the TV over the bar. Her first thought was that this was a
horrible place to conduct business and only in New Zealand could
a Rugby match be watched in a 5 star establishment. She ignored
the customary rude stares at her chest from some hor*ny men and
the following catty glares from their dates and proceeded to
look for Dragon. It took Kara over a minute before she finally
picked him out of the crowd. She walked up and greeted the
Stable owner drink in hand at the bar. His gaze left the Rugby
match and he couldn't help but give Kara a slow look from head
       to toe.
Kara: "I wasn't expecting to see you all um...dressed up. I
hardly recognized you. You look good in a suit. Really good."
Dragon: "Thanks. Says you. You look incredible. I was only
trying to look respectable. You know, businesslike. I’ve been
       completely outdone.”
Kara: "Thanks, I wanted to look good for you too. I have a
feeling we are going to be able to put all this nastiness behind
       us tonight."
Dragon: "I'd like that a lot."
Kara: "Life will be a lot easier if we weren't at war with each
other. I'd know I'd sleep a lot better at night."
Dragon: "As would I. I can’t wait ‘til this is just a weird
memory we look back on and laugh at. If you’re ready, I have a
       table waiting, follow me."
Dragon led Kara past a busy group of diners to a private veranda
covered with lush plants and an inviting outdoor fireplace. An
elaborate table for two was waiting along with their own
personal waiter, bottle of wine in hand.
Kara: "This is really nice, do you always treat your business
associates this well or were you saving it just for me?"
Dragon: "No, this is a first. But, I really want us to get along
       this time.”
Kara: "Are you also staying here? This has to be very
       expensive."
Dragon: "I am staying here. It’s nice. But looking as you do
tonight, I can’t help but feel you should be having far nicer
       dinners in far nicer places.”
Kara: "This is perfect, exactly what I need right now. You’re
not a mind reader are you?"
Dragon: "I wish! I dare say we could have avoided this situation
we find ourselves in if I was. Anyway, I’m glad it’s to your
       liking.”
Kara: "Again, well done, do you mind if we take a few selfies?"
       Dragon: "No worries, snap away.”
Kara gave her phone to the waiter and instructed him to take
some pics. She put her arm on Dragon's shoulder and moved in
close and pressed her cheek up to his. The waiter took some pics
of the two on the private patio with the elegant table in the
       foreground.

Kara: "Thanks, these pics will go a long way to convince the
rest of the Bunnies that the Den aren't a bunch thugs."
Dragon: "Whatever will help. And I can assure you we’re really
       not.”
Kara immediately tweeted out the pics #romantic #date
       #instagood.
Kara: "We've got a lot to discuss, where do you want to start?"
Dragon: "Let’s just voice our concerns and we can discuss what
we can each do to make those worries go away.”
The dinner kept getting better as the courses kept coming and
the wine flowed freely. Dragon had actually come to make amends
and Kara felt this was as good a time as any to put this behind
them. Maybe she could come away with some sort of compromise
       after all.
Kara: "Let me start off by apologizing for having Sophia
detained. I know we got off on the wrong foot but I can actually
see us ending up friends at some point."
Dragon: "Yeah… I was disappointed with that. With both of you,
honestly. I’m happy to hear you feel things can still be
reconciled though. And I appreciate the apology.”
Kara: "I'll make a public apology if you'd like. Anything to
smooth things over. What I'd like in return is for you to do
your best to find out who was responsible for attacking me at
your facilities. If it's Marie then I would like her suspended
if possible. Also an apology from Penelope would help keep
       Audrey in check."
Dragon: "A public apology from you is not necessary. But, I do
agree that an apology from Penelope isn’t too much to ask. I’ll
see that she does so, publicly. And as for the Marie thing; I
don’t have all the evidence, or an admission, but I have
suspended her for the time being. You probably noticed she
didn’t participate at Open Fight Night. She is still suspended
       for the time being.”
Kara: "I was wondering why she didn't call me out. I spent a lot
of time training for her. As for Audrey and Gemma, I'll make
sure that they make amends for their little artistic adventure.
Maybe they can be your locker room attendants for the next
       event, they'd really like that."
Both Dragon and Kara shared a quick laugh at the thought of
Audrey and Gemma handing out towels to a locker room full of
       sweaty fighters.
Kara: "I'd also like to meet with Sophia and personally
apologize for having her detained. I'm sure once we get to know
each other we can mend fences and become friends. Trust me, as
far as I'm concerned, I'm over it and it's all in the past."
Dragon: “Well I appreciate that. Mending things between stable
leaders would be a huge step towards reconciling our two
       stables.”
Kara had no intentions of ever becoming friendly with Sophia.
The jealous little skank had her attacked and Kara would never
forgive her for that. As for Dragon, she could easily manipulate
him into thinking that there was a possibility that the two
       Stable Leaders would become civil.
Kara: "Can we take another selfie?"
       Dragon: "Of course.”
Kara was feeling the effects of the wine. The 5 star meal and
Dragon's dry sense of humor had her in a relaxed mood. She
handed her phone to the waiter and snuggled up to Dragon making
sure her chest pressed firmly into him and her ample cleavage
was in full view for the photo. As the waiter started taking
pictures Kara turned her head and kissed him on the cheek.
There, that ought to pis*s off the fugly little troll thought
       Kara.
Kara: "Thanks Dragon, I'm really enjoying myself tonight. As for
our agreement, do you want to have something drafted up or will
       a simple handshake do?"
Dragon: “You can’t get anywhere without trust. Let’s shake on it
and start making amends. IT’s all a process anyhows.”
The night was too good to be true. Not only was Dragon the
perfect gentleman but he really wanted peace. Kara started
doubting herself and maybe toying with Sophia's emotions wasn't
the best thing for her stable after all. She thought about not
tweeting out any more pics but the pain in her ribs brought her
back to reality. She remembered being jumped at the Den and her
brutal fight with that jealous maniac and thought fu*ck it and
       fu*ck Sophia. She tweeted out #funnightout #cutecouple
#bestdateever to the pic of her kissing a smiling Dragon.
Kara: "I'll draft up a new directive stating that any Bunny
caught fighting anyone from the Den outside of the cage will be
suspended. If anything happens I don't want it to be on my end."
Dragon: “And I won’t stand for anything less form my stable.
Thanks for meeting with me tonight, by the way. I appreciate the
fact you want to put this to bed as much as I do.”
Dragon stood up and excused himself. Kara took out a compact and
checked her make up. She slightly turned her chair and crossed
her legs positioning the high slit of her dress so that her long
legs were in full view on Dragon's return. She smiled at the
waiter who tried his best to keep from staring at her.
Dragon returned and could not help but notice Kara's long toned
legs positioned so strategically. It was clear to her that he
had noticed, particularly since she was looking for it, and he
seemed to not find words right away, so she took the opportunity
       to steer the conversation.
       Kara: "Is your team winning?"
Dragon: "Umm what, um yeah, they're up 24-20.
Kara: "My Brother used to be a flanker in College and I used to
go watch some of his games. We can bring dessert to the bar and
watch the end of the match if you'd like?
Dragon: "Really? He was? That's very cool. I mean, only if
you're interested in watching the rest, sure. Whatever's
       comfortable."
Kara: "I'd love to, you'll have to tell me who to cheer for
       though."
Dragon: "Well, funnily enough, they're called the Dragons.
Perhaps the Rabbitohs would be more your speed. But, if you wish
to follow me, I'm all for it."
Kara followed Dragon and cozied up to the bar. She was having a
wonderful time and deep down hoped it wouldn't be ending anytime
       soon.
Kara: "I getting tired of this wine. Do you mind if I have a
beer? What do they drink around here?"
Dragon: "What do you mean, 'do I mind'? We can have whatever we
       please!"
As they settled at the bar, the rugby really became background
noise, and Kara and Dragon found themselves much more interested
in their own conversations and company.
Dragon: "They have heaps of different beer here. You're spoilt
for choice. But if you want something local, Speight's and
Monteith's are good, and both from New Zealand."
Kara: "A pint of Speight's it is then."
Kara wanted to broach the subject of Sophia but didn't want to
dampen the moment. She knew that Sophia had her sights on Dragon
but didn't know what his feelings for his stable leader were.
She still hated the flabby assed sl*ut and desperately wanted to
get her back but it would have to wait for now.
Dragon: "Perfect. A pint of Speight's and then you can start
cheering for the Dragons. We'll be getting along in no time."
Kara: "Sounds good. Of course you know we'll be doing some shots
       when they win."
Dragon: "Well that sounds fair to me. Shots of what?"
Kara: "I like to drink Red Headed Slu*ts. It's Peach Schnapps,
Jagermeister and Cranberry juice. They go down easy but they
       have a kick."
The Dragon's won their match and Kara and Dragon started
celebrating. Pints and shots flowed freely and soon the two
       found themselves feeling no pain.
Kara: "You know I posed for Playboy right, I was wondering if
you ever looked up any of my pictures on the web?"
Dragon: "Umm... well, I... I suppose I would have seen a few.
You know, through the UMMA affiliate sites and such. You're hard
       not to notice, you know."
Kara: "I'm not embarrassed. In fact I'm proud of them. They do a
really good job of keeping you looking natural."
Dragon: "How did they come about?"
Kara: "They had this contest called "America's Sexiest
Bartender" and my friends talked me into entering it."
       Dragon: "Did you win?
Kara: "Of course, then they asked me to pose for the Magazine
and before I knew it I was Playmate of the Year."
Dragon: "Well, they got that right!"
The two spent the rest of the evening enjoying each others
company and downing many pints. Kara had underestimated the
strength of the local brews and uncharacteristically had too
many. Dragon sensed that Kara was in no condition to make it
back to her Hotel and made her a tempting offer.
Dragon: "You know, you're welcome to crash at my room here in
the hotel. It'll be much easier than stumbling back, and I've
absolutely no problem sleeping on the couch."
Kara: "Thanks, your such a sweet heart."
Kara awoke the next morning with a pounding headache. She looked
around the strange bedroom and wondered where the hell was she
and what the hell had she just done. It took her a moment to
clear her head and figure out the previous nights events. It
quickly started coming back to her. Dragon! She was at Dragons.
She felt her body go flush. She got out of bed and saw her
evening gown and nylons neatly folded next to stiletto's all
sitting at the foot of the king size bed. Kara started feeling
ashamed that she let herself get into this situation. What would
Dragon think of her now? She was embarrassed and dreaded having
to face him. She tiptoed her way to the door and peeked out into
the living room. She felt only slightly better when she heard
some snoring coming from the couch. Dragon was in a deep sleep
and probably wouldn't be feeling a lot better when he came too.
Kara took a quick shower and got herself together and prepared
to make her way back to her Hotel. She opened the door only to
see Dragon sitting at the table eating breakfast.
Dragon: "Good morning. I hope your head feels better than mine."
Kara: "I'm not sure about that. The Speight's is a little
stronger than the beers back in the states. I'm sorry but I
never get like that. I was just having so much fun last night."
Dragon: "Speight's?? You sure it wasn't all those shots we had
       after the beer?"
Dragon pointed towards the little kitchen where a couple of pans
       sat on the stove.
Dragon: "Grab some bacon and eggs, you'll feel better for it. I
feel better already. And for the record, I had a lot of fun,
       too."
Kara: "Breakfast sounds great as long as you have some black
coffee to go with it. Oh and by the way, thanks for tucking me
in last night. I don't remember making it to the bed."
Dragon: "Of course. It's not breakfast without coffee. And it
was no problem. You barely made it, but you were out like a
light as soon as you did."
Kara's head finally started to clear thanks to the wonderful
breakfast. She knew her day was already busy and would have to
get going soon but dreaded the walk of shame in her evening
dress. Maybe her ride could pick her up at the back of the
       Hotel.

Dragon: "I'm afraid I'm going to have to head off soon. I have a
ton of press stuff to do. It will be nice to be able to tell
them our stables seem to be making a little ground though."
Kara: "This went a lot better than I thought, thanks for being
so understanding. I've got a good feeling things are about to
       change for the better."
Kara made arrangements for her return but of course they would
only pick her up at the front entrance. She thanked Dragon and
gave him a big hug before making her way to catch her ride. Kara
made it through the lobby but the Escalade was nowhere to be
seen. Cursed driver, they are never on time when you need them.
She was looking at her phone for the ride service when she
caught a familiar face out of the corner of her eye. Kara did a
double take and couldn't believe her luck as Sophia was heading
right for her making her way into the lobby.

OK... this was definitely an excellent way for the forum to come
       back to life. :D
First, of all, that Kara is a B-I-T-C-H with a capital B, but it
seems like maybe events are chipping away at that. I'm not
exactly ready to call her a sympathetic figure, but she's
gaining a human side that wasn't clear, earlier. In other
words, you're doing an outstanding job with her. :D
Oh, and Dragon is clearly an oblivious lunkhead. But, that's
       not news. :P
And then, of course, there's this...

:P You're a bit cheeky, you are. And you know, he's sweet

Yes, I do know. And I never said he wasn't. I was merely
pointing out that he's not only being manipulated, but he seems

Ah, yes... now, I can finish what I was going to say. Because I
think, as long as Sophia's upcoming run-in with Kara doesn't
land her back behind bars, it will quickly be followed by a
run-in between Sophs and Dragon. And, at that point, I suspect
she may say all of the things that I might 'quip' about. ;)

OFN 2015 DRAMA PART 17 - The Argument
Having seen the tweets from the night before, Sophia had decided
to make her way to where Dragon was staying to get some answers.
She had just made her way through the front entrance of the
hotel and was stepping across the lobby, when she spotted Kara
Monaco coming the other way, wearing the same dress from the
       twitter photos.
Sophia momentarily froze in place, her jaw dropping, and Kara
       had much the same reaction.
It seemed that every time things started looking up for Kara,
Sophia was there to rain on her parade. A mission of peace to
the Dragon compound found Kara getting brutally attacked while
her private meeting with Sophia left Kara bruised and battered.
After a wonderful night with Dragon, the last thing she needed
was another catfight with Sophia. She was still a bit numb from
the night before and was in no condition for another round with
the nasty brunette. While she'd been in her share of fights both
inside and outside of the cage, she hadn't faced anyone with the
determination and hatred shown by Sophia. Kara could only
imagine how she'd been fuming after her tweets and it looked
like she was here to take it out on her. Kara's mind started
racing as Sophia scowled at her with the most evil glare she'd
ever seen. Heels, take off your heels thought Kara. She be no
match for Sophia fighting on her stilettos but it was too late
as the straps were wrapped tightly around her ankles.
Sophia: “What are YOU doing here?”
Kara: "That's none of your business. I don't have to answer to
       you of all people."
Sophia was visibly boiling over. She knew, or at least thought
she knew, what that answer meant. Kara had spent the night with
Dragon, and it was obvious since she was trying to sneak out in
her dress from the night before. Sophia's whole being shook,
breathing becoming rapid, her eyes boring a hole straight
       through the blonde.
Sophia: "You sl*t! You're damn right you have to answer to me
when you're fu*king around with... with my stable!"
       Kara: "Listen closely b*tch! I don't give a f*ck about who you
think I should answer to. Dragon and I came to an agreement and
like it or not you're going to have to live with it."
Sophia: "Wha-what do you mean 'agreement'? What agreement?"
Kara: "Since you're incapable of any sort of compromise, Dragon
and I took it upon ourselves and agreed to put our hostilities
to bed. We now have a truce between our stables."
Sophia visibly flushed red. Her eyes darted about, and she was
likely trying to work out whether 'to bed' was a deliberate
choice of words on Kara's behalf. She just couldn't quite seem
to be able to comprehend what had happened.
Sophia: "Truce? You mean, it's all done? But, how? Why now and
       not before?"
Sophia was confused and worried, and she was afraid as to what
deal Dragon had just made with the devil, for she couldn't see
Kara possibly standing down to a truce just because.
Kara: "I tried to make peace with you before but all you wanted
to do was kick my as$. You blamed me for trying to hack your
computers and called me a liar in front of Dragon. Luckily he's
the one with some common sense."
Sophia: "Not much if he's willing to believe your bullsh*t."
Sophia snapped her retort and went to stomp her way past Kara,
now furious and wanting to know just what the hell Dragon was
       thinking.
Kara saw Sophia quickly coming at her and put her hands up to
defend herself. She slightly tripped on one of her heels but
regained her balance cutting Sophia off in the process.
Kara: "You better think it through b*tch. You don't want to have
       Dragon suspend you."
Having Kara cut her off from heading towards the rooms only
confused Sophia more. She stopped abruptly, right in Kara's
face, growing angry again. She was even more furious at the idea
of Kara somehow getting her suspended.
       Sophia: "Move."
Kara didn't budge, and Sophia grew impatient.
Sophia: "You can't stop me and you know it. Let me through.
Dragon and I need to have some serious words."
Kara felt relieved by Sophia's comments. She fully expected the
two would be rolling on the ground again trying to rip each
other apart out but all Sophia wanted was to see Dragon.
Kara: "Fine! Go and see him then! Just make sure to give him a
little time to recover before you go crying to him like a whiny
       little b*tch."
Sophia was furious, and genuinely looked as though she was about
to strangle Kara to death right there in the lobby.
Instead, she exhaled, slowly, almost making a growling sound,
and huffed her way straight past Kara, giving her a solid
shoulder bump on the way through.
Kara glared after her as Sophia stormed her way down the hallway
       towards the rooms.
Sophia banged rapidly on the hotel room door until Dragon opened
it. Saying nothing, she shoved her way past Dragon into his
hotel room, headed straight for the little dining table, and sat
down. Then she turned to him as he still stood, mouth agape at
       the door.
Sophia: “Shut the door and sit the f*ck down.”
It wouldn’t have taken a rocket scientist to work out Sophia was
upset, which was fortunate considering Dragon was the one
required to do the working out. He dutifully closed and locked
the door and took a seat opposite Sophia at the little table.
Dragon: “What’s got you riled up?”
Sophia: “Your wh*re girlfriend, that’s what!”
Dragon: “Woah, hang on here. Who?”
       Sophia rolled her eyes.
Sophia: “Seriously? Next you’ll tell me Kara didn’t stay here
       last night.”
Dragon: “Oh. Well, no, she did. But to be clear, in different
       rooms.”
Sophia: “I don’t care where she slept. First your date photos
were plastered all over social media, then you share a hotel
room. What’s next, a Den/Bunnies merger that sees you sign away
all of the careers of the women that have fought so hard for
       you?”
       Dragon frowned.
Dragon: “Firstly, it wasn’t a date. Secondly, I don’t think
       that’s a fair assess-“
Sophia: “Shut up and listen,” Sophia demanded, pounding a fist
on the table, clearly more serious than she had ever been with
the stable owner. “Are you dedicated to this stable or not?
Because right now all you look like is a Bunnies groupie. And I
for one AM dedicated to this stable, and I’m not letting you
throw away everything we’ve worked towards just because some
floozy shoves her hot bod in your face and makes puppy dog eyes
whenever her stable needs a hand up. You don’t work for them.
You work for US. F*cking act like it!”
Dragon: “It’s a little early for this. How about we grab some
       breakfast and…”
Sophia: “Don’t you play cute with me. I’m not Kara. I’m not
going to let you roll over and rub your belly. If you’re dumb
enough to let some blonde harlot lead you down the garden path,
that’s your own stupid fault. But, I am NOT prepared to let you
       take the stable with you.”
Dragon: “Sophia, I’m trying to protect this stable. You running
around with a vendetta on Kara is NOT helping the stable, and
it’s because of behavior like that, that I actually have to step
in and try to smooth things over with other stable leaders. I’m
making sure this doesn’t get out of hand. What are you doing,
       other than causing a ruckus?”
Sophia: “I’m… I’m trying to take my stablemates’ backs. And it
would be nice if you could have MINE once in a great while.”
Dragon: “I’ve had your back every step of the way. When I named
you stable leader above all the logical options; when you
couldn’t win a fight to save yourself; when you wanted to start
your own little team with Bri; when you ran off and played
secret training games with Danni; when you got thrown into jail…
but f*cked if I’m going to let you sit here and berate me for
trying to fix things with the Bunnies when all you want to do is
       start fights with them.”
Sophia: “Dragon, she’s playing you! She played me, and I was
dumb enough to fall for it, at your insistence. But I’m not
letting you and the stable go the same way. You’ll end up in a
       much worse place than jail.”
       Dragon: “Where’s that then?”
       Sophia: “That sl*t’s lap!”
Dragon: “I think you should leave. I have press gatherings to
attend, in order to help the stable.”
Without a word, and tears brewing in her eyes, Sophia stormed up
from the table and towards the hotel room door, stumbling her
way out of it and down the hallway, her emotions and consequent
       tears growing the entire way.
