Shaya
By: Raccoon Date: August 17, 2014, 11:12 am
---------------------------------------------------------
Naya Rivera and Hayden Panettiere were in a cafe talking about
current happenings and the upcoming Shockwave.
"What's wrong with you?" Hayden sighed, "You've been losing two
out of three fights lately."
"Well I…" Naya had no explanation. "I don't…I don't know."
"Exactly! We need to fix your tactics, like why do you try to
punch so often? We both know that you're not a good boxer?"
"Eva has given me a few pointers–"
"Forget that! You should concentrate on kicking – you're limber
and you know how to use your legs, so kick. And if that doesn't
work you should try to take down your opponent to the ground,"
Hayden grinned, "You're rather good at wrestling…you've even
made me 'submit' once or twice…"
"Okay…" Naya said realizing Hayden was making sense. "Who will
you fight in Shockwave?" she asked changing the subject.
"Lyndsy Fonseca. You?"
"Danica Thrall. I've beaten her already once so it should be a
piece of cake."
"Don't be too overconfident*! Remember what you said
before your fight with Shay Mitchell? It was her debut fight and
you go and lose to her?"
"No! That's not fair! The only reason I lost to her was that she
was all over me!"
"Yeah, she beat you good."
"No I mean that she was feeling me up! Her hands were roaming my
body up and down when we were rolling on the floor! It was hard
to concentrate on the fight when you never knew where her hands
would end up next!"
"What? You never told me that."
"If I had… who knows what you would have done to her. But that
will not happen again…if we'll fight again, I will be ready."
She took a sip from her cup, "I will be in the front row when
she faces Gracie Carvalho in Shockwave…" she didn't finish her
sentence, but she had a strange smile on her face.

*I hate auto-censorship! I was trying to use 'cocky' (i.e. 'c o
c k y'), but that is evidently a naughty word...

Shay almost hadn’t believed her ears when she heard Naya
Rivera’s voice coming from behind her in the cafe. She even
turned slightly to see if her ears were betraying her, but sure
enough, there sat Naya and that troublesome stablemate of hers,
Hayden Panettiere.
Shay didn’t care much for Hayden. From what she’d heard, Hayden
was bad news. If you weren’t in her stable, you were the enemy.
It wasn’t quite the same with Shay. She believed alliances
outside the stable could be a good thing from time to time.
Unfortunately, it looked like Hayden had Naya wrapped around her
little finger.
Then Shay heard Naya tell Hayden about her roaming hands during
their match. Shay felt she knew what was coming. Hayden would
get upset and try to play Naya against her. And Shay wasn’t
about to let that happen.
Shay stood from her table and approached her opponents to stand
right between Naya and Hayden’s chairs.
“Hi Naya.” Shay smiled at Naya before giving a quick, silent
glance towards Hayden and then turning her full attention back
to Naya, making her point. “So, you think I couldn’t have beaten
you if we weren’t grappling on the mat? You know grappling is
part of cage fighting, right? My hand may have slipped, but that
can happen. Why was it a problem?”

Naya flushed. Hayden stood up, knocking her chair over. The Tiny
Powerhouse, as she liked to be called, grabbed Shay's shoulder
and turned her around, "So you call grabbing a boob
'wrestling'?" She fisted her right hand, "Naya's boobs are
nice," she said with a snarl, "but they are not yours to be
fondled!"
Now it was Naya's turn to stand up, "Hold on Hayden, let me deal
with her." Hayden looked intently at Shay, clearly contemplating
whether or not she should clock Shay. Finally the muscles on her
arm relaxed, "Sure…" She pulled her chair up and sat down.
"To answer your questions," Naya said, her eyes thin slits, "No,
you wouldn't have beaten me without your…your tricks. But–"
"Right," Hayden interrupted. She grabbed Shay's right arm and
squeezed, "No muscles to be found," she laughed.
"Please, let me…" Naya said and put her hand on her friend. "As
I was saying, without your dirty tricks you would have been
begging for mercy. But I guess all you Dragon's Den girls play
it dirty. I haven't anything against that, I might have done a
dirty trick or two in my time, but your tactics were just wrong.
But now I know what to expect and you won't be able to surprise
me again." The beautiful Latina sat down and took a
exaggeratedly sexy pose, thrusting out her chest and showing off
her toned bare legs, "Copping a feel might be cool if you're
wrestling in the bed," she glanced at Hayden, "but I don't think
it's acceptable in the ring…no matter whether you're wrestling
or boxing."

Shay flared up as the much smaller Hayden grabbed her arm. She
could feel her face burning with both rage and embarrassment.
“Oh, there are muscles here alright. Just give me one good
reason to show you…”
Shay let the threat trail off, hoping to stand her ground and
intimidate Hayden, though also praying she didn’t call her
bluff. She’d seen Hayden fight in the ring and she knew she
could do some serious damage.
But Shay was furious, and she wanted to repay the embarrassment.
“You got one thing right though, Hayden,” growled Shay before
letting her gaze fall across Naya’s impressive chest. “Naya’s
boobs are nice. I don’t suppose you’re a little jealous… you
know, seeing as yours aren’t quite as, shall we say, womanly?”
Shay eventually dragged her eyes from Naya’s chest and
emphasised her stab at Hayden by folding her arms and giving an
unimpressed smirk aimed directly at Hayden’s smaller breasts.
Of course, it was one thing to cop the abuse from Hayden, which
she expected, but was Naya completely serious about being able
to make her beg for mercy next time? She was genuinely offended
by Naya, perhaps because she cared more about what she thought.
And how dare she call her stablemates ‘dirty!’
“I don’t need any tricks to beat you, Naya. I can’t wait to
prove that next time. And my friends are not dirty fighters! If
anyone is dirty here it’s Hayden.” She glared at the smaller
girl again accusingly. “I remember that headbutt at The Proving
Ground that won you the match against poor Lyndsy Fonseca. You
call that clean?”
Shay was about to continue her rant until she found herself
distracted momentarily by Naya’s posing form. Her chest really
was impressive, and those legs, toned and bare, seemed to go on
for days. The inviting pose suddenly had Shay’s mind wandering
elsewhere. It was as if she’d forgotten about Hayden again. Her
speech changed into almost a purr and she leaned over to within
a few inches of Naya’s face, her hands propping her up as she
leaned onto the armrests of Naya’s chair. “Besides, are you sure
you’re against it, Naya? You must have been incredibly
distracted if weak little me managed to render you useless with
a slight groping. Maybe you liked it more than you care to
admit…”

Shay didn't know what happened. One moment she was admiring
Naya, the next she had her face pressed against the surprisingly
dirty floor. Her right arm was bent behind her back. "You know,"
Hayden whispered into her ear, "I could end your career right
here. It wouldn't be the first one…"
"Hayden! Stop!" Naya screamed, "Let her go!" From her
inconvenient position she could see that Naya had moved next to
Hayden.
"You know I can't do that," Hayden replied and applied more
pressure on Shay's arm. "Not after what she said." Hayden
caressed Shay's head with her free hand, "You have a fight in
Shockwave, don't you…wonder how well you'll do with a broken
arm?" Hayden whispered into Shay's ear.
"Let her go," Naya almost pleaded; from her position Shay could
only see Naya's beautiful legs and the elegant and most likely
expensive heels she was wearing, "she didn't mean it! She's
just… enamored by my beauty! Her brain stopped functioning; she
wasn't thinking. I have that effect on people… you can't blame
her for that?"
Hayden laughed, "You might be right, but it doesn't change that
this little s l u t insulted me."
Naya whispered something into Hayden's ear. Hayden looked at
Shay for a moment, "Lucky you, Naya has convinced me not to
break your arm. If you apologize and buy me a piece of that
blueberry pie I'll let you up. Ok?" The pressure on Shay's arm
eased. The pressure on Shay's arm eased. Turning her head as
much as she could Shay could see Naya smiling and nodding her
head.

I wasn't going to comment in here, because I didn't want to
break up the conversation Raccoon and Dragon had going. But,
the authors said they don't mind, so...
I'm really enjoying this one. And, maybe I haven't been paying
enough attention to the Press Releases, but Hayden's an
aggressive little thing. I know she's got a quick temper, and
she's hard on her teammates (or maybe, subjects? :P ) But, I'm
wondering what Naya will have to say about Hayden jumping in
front like that. I'd think a fighter would want to fight her
own battles.
Anyway, I'm not trying to shove my opinion into your RP. I'm
just saying I've been thinking about it... so, I guess I'm kinda
hooked. :D

No minding here! I love feedback. I'm sure we all do. I
appreciate the comments, thanks! I hope you enjoy what's to
come! :)
And Hayden sure is aggressive. Don't f*ck with her or her
stable, is the message here. :D

Shay struggled against Hayden, tried to push up from the ground,
but the smaller girl had a firm hold on her and Shay went
nowhere. Her arm burned as Hayden applied more and more
pressure. She was starting to grimace. Her breathing became
heavy. The only thing keeping her sane was the sound of Naya’s
voice. She felt safe with Naya imploring Hayden to take it easy,
despite feeling anything but safe with the little firecracker
straddling her back. It was a bizarre contrast. Shay didn’t like
it.
When the pressure eased and Hayden gave her ultimatum, Shay
wasn’t quite sure how to react.
From where Shay lay, it didn’t seem Naya thought she would stand
much of a chance against Hayden. She looked worried for her.
Shay didn’t want Naya feeling like that. But neither did she
want Hayden to think she had won. She also wanted Naya to grant
her a little more respect as a fighter. Who was she to suggest
she couldn’t take Hayden? Shay remained squashed between Hayden
and the cold floor, but still chose to shout back at her
assailant.
“Break my arm and I’ll break your face. And don’t you dare call
me a sl*t again.”
Shay’s breathing eased a little and she found herself gazing at
Naya. She was still imploring Shay to play nice, so Shay tried
to adapt and take the high ground.
“But, if you’re willing to take back the sl*t comment, I guess I
could take back mine.”
Naya was still staring at her. Trying to ESP her into something
else. Shay clicked.
“Oh… fine… and I’ll buy us all some pie.”
Shay remained laying still, her head only turned slightly now,
her gaze fixed on Naya’s stunning legs, and waited. She wasn’t
sure if she was waiting for her arm to be released or broken,
but she waited nonetheless. She had little other choice. Hayden
was in control. The last place Shay wanted Hayden to be, but you
do catch more flies with honey, as they say, and Shay was hoping
sweet would win over aggression when it came to Naya. But, Naya
seemed to enjoy having everyone 'enamoured by her beauty,' so
who knew when it would end? Shay wondered, indeed, if it even
would. She couldn’t completely back down though. Of course, Naya
was absolutely right – Shay was enamoured.

"Mmm. Good." Hayden said between mouthfuls of blueberry pie. It
was the first thing anybody had said since Hayden had let Shay
go and Naya, with a grin, had helped Shay up on her feet.
"I like blueberries," Naya said looking at Shay. There were
people in neighboring tables imagining that they were the
blueberry pie that Naya was so sensuously consuming.
"I don't particularly like you," Hayden said concentrating on
her pie. If she was talking to Shay, Naya or the pie wasn't
entirely clear. But since she kept shoveling pie into her
mouth…and it was doubtful that she didn't like Naya…
"If you want to change that, there is something you can do for
me. For us. For the UMMA." Hayden looked up having finished her
pie. "Don't look like that, I'm not asking you to do anything
horrible. Just a little prank! Something fun! No one important
will be hurt! What do you say?"
"What…is it?" Naya asked, looking slightly worried.
Hayden grinned, "How about…" she looked around making sure no
one was listening to them. She leaned closer and whispered
something to Shay and Naya. Hayden then leaned back and said in
a normal voice, "You can use your imagination. What's important
is that it happens during the press conference after Shockwave."
"That does sound like fun," Naya said. "I just don't understand
why…"
Hayden didn't answer but looked ta Shay for an answer. "So?",
she asked impatiently, "I must be going so I need your answer
now."

Shay was about to ask if there was anyone Hayden particularly
did like. But,as she struggled to pull her gaze away from
Naya’s, she realized that was exactly her answer. Naya was about
the only person Hayden did like. And she was afraid of Shay
coming between that. Shay understood, but at the same time, that
was how she felt about Hayden. And so stood the stalemate.
When Hayden gave her suggestion, Shay found herself wondering
whether she actually did want to help her. The prank sounded
painless enough, but she really wasn’t sure what kind of
reaction she was going to get – from anybody. There was no
guarantee it would keep Hayden onside, or even Naya. And what
would everyone else think? What would Dragon think? It would be
all over the media coverage. Shay wasn’t even sure that she
wanted Hayden onside, though of course, she was already a part
of it. She was sharing pie with her right now. She figured she
had already started the ‘keep your enemies closer’ plan of
attack. There was no point bailing here.
“It sounds a little… insensitive,” Shay said, sounding very
unsure. “Doesn’t she already have a lot going on? I do read
Total Knock Out, you know.”
She glanced at Naya again. She didn’t look too concerned about
the idea. Maybe everything would work out okay. She followed
Naya’s stare back to Hayden as the two stablemates discussed it.
There was something about Hayden, Shay suddenly felt; something,
almost magnetic. At least, when she wasn’t screaming threats,
she was kind of… impressive... stunning... sexy? But, not simply
Hayden herself; it was the power she held. The power over Naya.
Now this abrupt power over Shay herself. Shay tried to shake it
off, but now she was just staring. Hayden snapped her out of it,
impatiently demanding an answer.
“Uh…I…” Shay glanced between Hayden and Naya. She was lost. She
just wanted to find a way through this. “Uhhh… I guess I could-“
Shay didn’t even get to finish. Hayden had taken that as a
‘yes’.
