       Dragon's Den Updates
By: Dragons Den Date: August 11, 2014, 9:09 am
       ---------------------------------------------------------
I took a leaf out of Vassago's book and decided to commit a
thread to Dragon's Den stable updates. Also Team Dragon, the new
team helmed by the Den. Keep a look out for some updates on all
that shortly. For now, I would like to welcome Rachel McAdams
and Jaimie Alexander to the Den. They are the two newest
recruits for the stable, and Rachel is even in line to star for
       Team Dragon. Welcome, girls!
Also, feel free to post here if it even somewhat relates to The
Den. It's not only for my posting benefits. All comments,
       requests, questions, etc. are encouraged!

Please welcome the Den's newest recruit; French rookie
       Lightweight, Adele Exarchopoulos!!

Adele won her debut against Willa Holland and the Den are now
looking for big things from her under the guidance of resident
hard-ass Olga Kurylenko, whom Adele lists as her favourite UMMA
fighter. We wish Adele all the best with the stable and her
dubious choice of mentor and greatly look forward to seeing her
kick some ass in the name of the Den.

We would like to welcome two newly recruited Dragons to the Den.
Each are at opposite ends of their careers; one a rookie yet to
compete in the UMMA, and the other a wiley veteran with 74 bouts
       to her name.
The first is English ESL rookie Lightweight, Emily Blunt! Blunt
is yet to compete, but the Den is looking forward to seeing her
make a name for herself with the stable right away, for as noted
by stable manager Dragon, she has "more tenacity and drive than
you can shake a stick at." Which as far as we can understand, is
a rather large amount. Dragon also noted that Blunt "is one of
the smartest rookies I've seen take to a cage. She bides her
time beautifully, I can't believe her patience. But once she
sees an opening and smells blood, she's all over you. She's so
       damn relentless from that point."

The second new recruit is Italian SCQ veteran Super Heavyweight,
Monica Bellucci! With a solid record of 36-38, the Den believes
Bellucci has the ability to bring added success for herself with
the stable, while having the necessary experience and leadership
qualities to push the fresher fighters of the stable to new
       heights.

Please join us in welcoming these two exciting fighters to their
       new home at the Den!

Please join us in welcoming two more fighters to the Den as the
       stable expands once more.
First, we have the exceptionally lovely DEF Super Heavyweight
prospect, all the way from England, Hayley Atwell!
The British beauty may look lovely and sweet (and she is), but
it's a totally different story once she's in that cage. She even
       has the manager scared!
"Hayley has a lot of power behind those punches," Dragon noted.
"That's one of the first things I noticed about her in the cage.
When she connects, everybody watching can feel it. She could
legitimately punch you into next week."
Hayley is keen to improve her sub-par record and the Den is
looking forward to having her do so as a part of their stable.

Second, we are proud to announce another rookie signing to the
Den. The absolutely gorgeous, Brazilian FAC Featherweight,
       Roberta Murgo!
Roberta is one of the Den's high hopes of the future. She has
shown a lot of promise already and the Den are confident, that
with the right training, she can go far. What does Dragon like
       most about Roberta?
"Everything. Oh, wait... in the cage? Um, she's fu*king
relentless. She's got a lot of heart. She really does. She's
great to watch. You can throw the kitchen sink at her but she'll
keep coming. She just doesn't stop. I've seen walls that give in
quicker. At the moment she needs to learn a little patience. She
tends to just swing for the fences. But that's fun too, and
regardless of what we think she needs to improve, there is
decidedly an awful lot of potential there. I'm very excited to
       have her at the Den."
*Editor's Note: We had to edit that considerably. He wouldn't
shut up about her. He wasn't lying; he really is excited about
       signing Roberta. Really, properly excited.

If you're as avid a TKO Magazine reader as we are, you already
know this week's news to come from the Den. Here it is anyway...
This last week, the Den released both DEF Welterweight Taylor
Cole and ESL Lightweight Allison Williams. Both rookies will be
sorely missed by all members of the Den. Taylor finds herself on
the free agents list, while Allison has moved onto bigger and
better things over at Foxfire. The Den wishes them both all the
absolute best in their UMMA careers and beyond.
The exciting news is however, that the services of two former
Big Sports Inc. fighters have been acquired by the Den.
Firstly, FAC Lightweight Ashley Benson has reunited with good
friends Shay Mitchell and Troian Bellisario, to lend her
expertise to making the stable a formidable group of fighters.
Ashley's record currently stands at 8-12, and she will be eager
to improve on that with a little motivation from her friends.

The second addition for the Den is Australian DEF Middleweight
prospect Abbie Cornish. With a record of 4-8-1, Abbie has some
serious work to do to convince fans she was worth being signed
to the Den, but Dragon seems confident that she does possess the
ability, and assures us she will win them over.

Please join the Den in welcoming both fighters to their new
       home!
For the full report, grab a copy of the latest TKO Magazine, or
head to the official UMMA website.

No roster updates for the stable today, but the news is that you
will find absolutely nobody at the Den today should you, for
whatever reason, head on over there. We'll be closed, as we
spend the day and night celebrating our very own Natalie
       Portman's birthday.
We, uh, may also be closed tomorrow.
Please join us in wishing the lovely bantamweight a very happy
birthday indeed, and Nat would like to pass on that you are all
welcome to the party. Except Sienna Miller. F&ck you, Sienna.*

*Natalie put her foot down on that one after the way Sienna
carried herself in her recent bout with the Den's Rachael Leigh
Cook. The Den supports her right to revoke Sienna's invitation.

That explains why there was nothing about the Den in the
magazine - the whole damned stable is drunk!
Well, a Raccoon delegation lead by Alexandra Paul arrives
fashionably late. But at least they bring gifts: A full set of
Raccoon Action Figures (Set 1)! Now Nat can replay historic
fights with these amazing figures! Well, at least a few fights
as the first set includes only Kristin Kreuk, Grace Park,
       Alexandra Paul and Lacey Chabert.

       Happy Birthday, Nat!
The ladies of RSI will be there, but they're still deciding if
they're all going to be fashionably late, or if most will be on
time. In order for them to arrive on schedule, they'll probably
have to leave Tiz on her own to sort through her shoe collection
in search of the perfect match for her outfit. :D

Don't be supposed if on your return you find that the Bunnies
have re-decorated your Corporate offices. Tastefully done with a
       fresh coat of spray paint.

Haha! Hey, we gotta party! Maybe we'll sober up in time to get
stuff out for the next mag. Actually, we better, since the event
       comes first. Uh-oh.
I'm sure Nat will love seeing Alex and the gang, and uh, yeah,
she'll totally love the action figure presents. That really
cracked me up, by the way. Haha, brilliant.
On behalf of Nat, thanks Richelle! Maybe Tiz should be left to
her own devices. I'd love some of you to make it at least on the
       day. :D
Those damn Bunnies... can't turn my back for a minute. Don't
       make me release Olga!
