[The Interview continues]
"Let's talk about your TV and film roles through the years. We
can also talk about Baywatch, and let's face it, that's what you
are most famous for, but I want to talk about other things as
well. I'm especially interested I any physical roles you might
have had."
"Well…" Alexandra says and looks at Pam's boobs, "we are known
for various things…" Susanna stifles a giggle.
Pam grabs her boobs and plays with them, "Yes, my girls are as
famous as I am! These orbs, that you secretly envy Alex, are in
fact more famous than you are!"

"I've had a lot of physical roles, through the years," Alexandra
began, "I've been a bodybuilder, special forces soldier, SWAT
captain, fighter pilot and astronaut, firefighter, cheerleader,
sheriff, police detective…and the list goes on. So as you see,
everybody else except Pamela thinks I'm perfect for tough action
roles."

"Alexandra, you mentioned 'bodybuilder', would you like to tell
something about that?"
"Sure, I starred in a bodybuilding movie called 'Getting
Physical'…and I have two kind of funny stories related to it."
Pam chuckles, "Let me guess, the first one is that people
actually thought you could be a body builder!"
"Shut your face, Pammie, and quit interrupting with your
ridiculous comments." Alexandra was fuming at Pam’s
interruption.

"The first one is that I was filming 'I Won't Dance' just before
Getting Physical, but there were some problems with the
production so we had to postpone the final scenes for six
months. But during those six months I filmed Getting Physical
elsewhere. So when I then returned to the set…well, first of all
the movie had changed name and was now called 'Just the Way You
Are', but the bigger problem was that I didn't look the same
anymore as I now had muscles all over! I was supposed to wear
skin tight pants, but now they would show all those leg muscles
I had gained since then."
"Well, you clearly haven't lost any of those

"Thank you," Alexandra grinned proudly."The other 'funny' thing
was that my boyfriend at the time didn't like my new image much.
He didn't like the fact that I had gotten that big," Alexandra
laughs, "He didn't like when people commented that I may be
stronger than him, or that I had wider shoulders than he had. We
were talking about the problem all the time."
"I bet you were stronger," Susanna said.

"I was! I was far stronger than him in fact; and he couldn't
accept it. It was just too much for his ego so in the end we had
to split up."
"But being part of that movie was a great experience. Back then,
we were used to thinking of women as delicate. But that was
changing in the 80s. Girls were getting into muscles, rather
than being soft and feminine."
"I'd guess you went through some tough training for the movie."
"Yes, but remember that I was in really good shape to begin
with."
"Of course acting in a movie like Getting Physical is no
substitute for being really physical - something I did seriously
in my early years. Early on they let me do more physical action
on ‘Baywatch’. But when my popularity went up and I became a
major draw they producers/director said they didn’t want to
chance an injury. I pleaded with them to do more of my own
stunts but it was to no avail. As you should know from movies
such as 'Barb Wire' and 'Snapdragon and TV series such as
'V.I.P' and 'Married with Children…' I look to get physical and
do my own stunts. But sometimes we stars just aren’t allowed to
do them."

"What Pam said is partially true – they didn't want Ms. Boobs
to hurt herself." Alexandra said. "You see–," she stopped,
"let's start at the beginning. Greg Bonann, one of the Baywatch
producers, swam at the same pool as I and had heard that I was a
good swimmer, so he called me in. I auditioned for the parts
Pamela Anderson and Nicole Eggert eventually got. I was not,"
she cupped her boobs, "right for either role obviously, so the
producers decided to write a part for me, which was nice. They
liked me because I was tall and athletic. I was at a time in my
life when I wanted to work on playing a strong character, not a
nice girl next door like I had been doing for 10 years, so I
requested she have an edge. The role of Stephanie Holden was
specifically created for me as they thought I would make a good
girlfriend for David [Hasselhoff]. I was told that I was to be
the counterbalance to the soft, silicone beach bimbos; smart and
intelligent, physical and strong – the believable lifeguard!
They even made Steph the lieutenant, the boss lady!
Unfortunately, they gave her a desk job that meant that I got
almost no physical scenes during my first season. This was weird
as I was supposed to be the one who could actually do the job…"

Caroline's first fight is/was in Kamikaze.

"Yeah, they finally let you out of the office but when you
weren't safely in the HQ you were knocked unconscius, kidnapped,
beaten, tied and gagged…that is you were the victim, the Damsel
in Distress! Whenever the storyline needed a helpless victim
they picked Stephanie – you've even admitted it yourself! They
could have picked anybody, but they chose the frailest, the
weakest, the most beliavable victim – YOU!"[right] [img

desk. I got most of the action scenes during season three, as we
both know. But then, as I already told you, they realized my
worth… and that's when we started to see you in a more active
role."
"My getting more rescues had nothing to do with you or your
boobs. Because I loved being in the water so much, I would beg
for Stephanie to have more rescue scenes. Yasmine Bleeth, who
played my sister Caroline, hated doing water work and would tell
the producers to give her rescues to me. And as I mentioned
earlier I began strength training for season four, it was clear
that producers liked what they saw and realized that they were
wasting my talent and–"

"Could it be that you hit the gym when you were forced out of
your delusion that you were strong and athletic?" Pam smirked.
"Both Nicole and I could outrun and outswim you without effort."
Alexandra didn't reply; how could she admit that there was truth
in what Pam said. It was true that she had never been fast and
it was equally true that she had been jealous of how quick the
others were. Even if she didn't say it, the look on her face
said a lot.
Pamela giggled, "I think who they thought looked better running
on the beach was summed up by the opening credits! Whom did that
show in slow motion running through the surf, you or me? You
were always jealous of the way I looked, remember?"

"Oh the intro?! Oh yes I do remember those, you clearly do not!
In season three, I was jumping from a moving boat! And running
on the beach! While you – hah-ha – were posing on the beach,
smiling, oh so shyly. My clip was the last one, as you know the
most important actors are either first or last, while you were
in the middle, tucked between David Charvet and Jeremey Jackson.
Also noteworthy is that you had only your real name on the
screen while I had both my real name and character name!"
"No one would have known who you or character were otherwise…"
"Yeah, sure… Again in season four, I was running through the
water, while you…" Alexandra laughed, "you were posing on the
beach! Ok, they had added a short clip of you diving in a pool.
Season five, no change for you, I'm still running on the beach
and this time they were zooming in on my muscular legs and arms!

"Season four onwards I'm immediately after Hasselhof!" Pam said.
"The way I see it the producers and director thought that me
posing on the beach or diving into a pool would attract as many
or more viewers than you running on the beach. And before you
get conceited about them showing your leg muscles I was told by
David that they had to use all sorts of camera angles and
shadows in order to try and show some muscle definition.
Lighting and good photography can do wonders to cover up your
short comings. "

"Ok," Susanna said, "if I got it right… you two and Nicole
Eggert joined the show in season three. You both agree that at
first Pam had more physical scenes than Alex, but this changed
in season four."
Pam and Alexandra nodded. "Yes, but–" Alexandra began, but to
her surprise was cut by Susanna.
"It was clear that Pam replaced Erika Eleniak as the busty
blonde… but, I've heard rumors that both of you were supposed to
be in season 3, but that you didn't get along. There are rumors
about a fight…which ended with Erika leaving the show! Is there
any truth to that? Or let me rephrase that: With so many
athletic, alpha girls around, were either of you involved in
physical fights behind the scenes, or were you aware of any such
fights?"
Alexandra was the first to answer, "I was too much of a
professional to get involved with any scuffles or fights other
than those scripted. Not so sure about Pam. Pam joined slightly
before I did and I did hear that rumor about her beating up
Erica and kicking her off the set." Alexandra laughed dryly, "I
also heard that Debbe Dunning became the new Tool Time Girl
after doing the same to Pam …"

Pam smiled a little devilish smile. "Rumors about my fighting on
the set are much overblown. Oh I’ve had some small shoving
matches but once the other woman feels my muscles the scuffle
ends. You two have been reading too many fantasy stories on the
web. The truth of why I left 'Home Improvement' is that I was on
three TV series: 'Home Improvement', 'Days of our Lives', and
'Baywatch'. Baywatch wanted to increase the size of my roles so
I had to give up Home Improvement."
"I am a hard working professional as even Alexandra has said in
an interview. I try to be nice to everyone and getting into
fights isn’t my style. That doesn’t mean I won’t protect myself
if I have to. Unless Alexandra wants to be further embarrassed
by discussing rumored fights I suggest we drop the subject."
"Wh… wh… what the hell do you mean, embarrassed?" Alexandra
stuttered obviously furious.
"Maybe Susanna should go talk to Gena Lee Nolin?" Pam said
slyly.
"Oh that," Alexandra quickly quieted down…but only for a moment,
"In that case Susanna could go talk to Yasmine. I recall you
picking on her because she is smaller than you and I had to …"
"Like I said it probably best to drop the subject as you really
don’t want to take credit for ganging up on me."
"If you don’t want to talk about scuffles you’ve had," Susanna
said hearing Alexandra and Pam dance about the subject. "I have
a related question, with so many beautiful actors and actresses
in skimpy bathing suits… did something, you know… happen?"
"Come on, Susanna, we were more professional than that. I never
did … you know… with anyone or heard of any such nonsense going
on." Alexandra sounded truly offended.
"I don’t know what set you were on, Alexandra, but the trailers
were rockin’ and rollin’. Seemed everyone hooked up with
everyone else. At least I thought they did. Guess Alexandra
wasn’t part of it, not surprisingly…" Pamela makes a suggestive
movement with her hips. "Take a look at this..."

Alexandra's head went blank and she was unable to speak or act
for a moment. The look on her face made Pam smile and even
Susanna seemed slightly amused.
When Alexandra finally seemed to be able to say something,
Pamela continued: "Remember that time your sister visited the
set?" Pamela asked.
"Of course, why?"
"You said that you're very close, that you tell each other
everything…"
"Yes," what's your point."
"Did she ever tell you what happened when you were busy on the
set? …did she tell what happened between her and me?" Pam said
with a lewd smile. "Mmm, her body…so firm…and muscular…not just
skin and bones like yours is!"
"What…?" Alexandra's jaw dropped and her face became white. "Yo-
you… you slept with my sister? Caroline…?"

red as blood returned to her face. "And then you lure my sister
into your bed?! You slept with MY SISTER!"Alexandra's face was
contorted with rage as she moves threateningly towards Pam,
clenching her fingers in and out at ther side.
"Now don’t get you panties in a bind," smirks Pam. "Did I say I
slept with her? Maybe, maybe not. Perhaps you should ask
Caroline. And while at it ask her how much she enjoyed it." Pam
continued to tease Alexandra.
Susanna moved in between the two and put her hands on each,
shoving them back. "Hey we have an interview to finish. What you
two do after that is your business, but I have a deadline to
meet."
It took a few moments for Alexandra to calm down. But
unfortunately Pam wasn't done teasing her…"Gena told me you
tried for the part of Sheena in 1999," Pam said.

Thanks Paul, I have lots of photos but Raccoon has done a
yeoman's job in finding pictures of women showing their muscles.
It is obvious what appeals to him.
I think this interview will show why I was eager to have Pamela
Anderson in my stables. She is not the piece of silly blonde
fluff that many think of her as and as is often her image. True,
she is a great comedienne and uses that to poke fun at herself.
But she was a serious body builder and when she puts her mind to
it can develop a nice set of muscles. I was impressed by what
Raccoon and I found out when researching for this interview. By
the way, I also developed respect for Alexandra who I always
thought of as a thin, not very strong woman on Baywatch. Turns
out she is fairly athletic but I think not as strong nor as
athletic as she thinks she is. At least that is what Pam tells
me.

Jenny McCarthy here. His name is Mr. Pye although he is sweet as
pie. Better to be mesmerized by round objects as opposed to
sticks. I hear Rocky Raccoon, when he steps out of the saloon,
has some 'action figures'. I can picture the action figure for
Alex - a pencil with a rubber on top for a head and toothpicks
for arms and legs. Come to think of it, the pencil may have
larger breasts and a shapelier figure than Alex has.
