These old photos are amazing! Especially of Pam. That one
picture of her is almost completely unbelievable.

"Poor, delusional little girl," Pam sighed, "No, you don't get
big. You are the poster girl of an ectomorph."
"No, I'm not!" Alexandra laughed nervously. "I'm a mesomorph,

"Your long, slim muscles and limbs are good for endurance sports
like long distance running, swimming and triathlons. Your
muscles produce small amounts of energy for a long time. That's
why you think you're good at long distance events. You have more
of what they call slow twitch muscles, which generate energy
slowly over a long time. They are great for marathons and
bicycling for hours. I have more fast twitch muscles that are
better at generating short bursts of strength and speed. I can
punch harder and run faster than you. That is why you will never
defeat me in boxing, arm wrestling or a 100m dash. But don't get
me wrong, I have enough slow muscles to beat you in the
triathlon. Simply put, you can't beat me in anything physical!"
       Pamela says matter of factly.
"Just look at these and tell me which one fits the description
of an ectomorph and which one a mesomorph? The screen caps are
from our first year and the second one is almost exactly ten

"What the hell are you babbling about?" Alexandra asked annoyed,
"Wanna see who can do more pushups in a minute! Yeah, didn't
       think so…"
"Yes… fast and slow muscles, you're making this up," Susanna
       said.
       "I'm a great athlete! I am! And I'm not bragging!" Alexandra's
face was visibly red, "And I want to point out that I'm NOT
naturally slender – people think that I must not workout to stay
slender, but if I didn't work out I'd gain weight. Which is not
bad because I think that women look great at all weights and
sizes. But for my athletic endeavors, it's just better for me to
       work out and stay slender."
"I seem to recall you saying earlier that you were always a very
average athlete," Pam interjected, "eager, but not really any
good. And what was it you said in that interview by Triathlete
       Magazine in 1997…here it is:
T: Were you the most athletic actress on the crew?
AP: I would not say that at all. Probably all of them were
faster runners than I. Everyone was tough. I know David Chokachi
is a very, very good athlete and i know Pamela was very athletic

Jenny McCarthy here. Pam, those photos of you showing off your
muscles are incredible. People should realize you are a real
professional who works hard not only to stay in shape but to
become a strong, athletic woman. One thing puzzles me? Didn't
Alexandra have editing rights on the interview? If so how could
she allow this photo that shows a direct comparison between her

"Everything you have described requires endurance. You don’t
have to be athletic and certainly not well-coordinated to do any
of those things. Those are high achievements, I won’t deny that,
but the main characteristic needed is stamina – not even
       strength."
"You clearly don't know what athletic means," Alexandra snapped,
"being athletic means that you're physically fit or strong,
muscular or active…that you have a muscular and
well-proportioned body; that you perform activities that require
strength, agility or stamina… so yes, I'm an endurance athlete!"
"I must concur with Alexandra," Susanna said, "strength isn't a
requirement! Besides, are you implying that Alexandra lacks
       muscle strength?"
"So is there anything the both of you have done?" Susanna asked,
"have you ever competed against each other?"
"I know we both participated in the Phoenix Celebrity Run; my
finishing time was 87 minutes, what was yours?" Pam asked.
       "What?!" Alexandra flushed, "...I- I can't remember exactly…"
"Memory is the first thing to go," Pam giggled, "but don't
worry, we have the internet…here, your time was...118 minutes!"
"…it was a charity event; it was not a real competition!"
"You keep claiming that," Pam laughs.
"Well, I did finish the Crab Lake Swim in 27 minutes," Alexandra
said knowing that swimming was her strong suit.
"Did you say Crab Lake? In 2002 I finished it in 28,54 minutes."

"I've done some research," Susanna said, "Pamela, your New York
marathon finishing time wasn't particularly good, in fact your
time was over an hour worse than the average. How is that
       possible, after all that 'training'?"
"I trained enough to be able to complete it, But I had other
commitments so my training time was limited and the results of
too hard training would have conflicted with my photo shoots and
appearances already scheduled. I could say I did it for charity
and not to score the best time but then that sounds like an
excuse Alexandra would use so I won’t say it." Pam pulled up an
image from her visit to the Ellen Show, "If I had put on more
muscle than this, I would have had to kiss goodbye to those
       photo shoots!"

like a girlie-girl. On the other hand, there are clients who
want me to be look tough. And buff. I prefer these shoots as
       they show the real me."

can be a helpless little girl or a strong action girl! But even

hide my muscles. In fact, depending on the client, they use a
lot of time and effort to edit the images, to reduce my
muscularity! I'll show you later some examples." She looks

For your information, Lacey, you caught me napping after working
out very hard. First I ran in the soft sand in my Baywatch

When that swimsuit got too sweaty I changed to a white bikini
and ran in even deeper sand to strength the calves!

As far as diving and swimming with heels it is a technique to
improve the kicking. The heels limit your foot action so you
have to use more of the legs in a scissors kick to get a good
push from them. Try it sometime. Even with the heels I swam so
fast I swam right out of my top. I had to come out to cover up
as this is a public beach. Leave it to the paparazzo with their
       telephoto lenses!

"This is exactly what I was talking about – I'm too muscular for
most clients so they photoshop my muscles away! The first cover
shows the Greek version, the second is the German and the last
one is the American cover. Americans don't seem to like a
bulging bicep on a cute girl," Pam laughs. "And even on the
Greek cover they have reduced the size of my bicep."
"And this one is one of my personal favorites because it gives
publicity to PETA, one of my favorite causes."

"I…I really must commend you for the work you do for PETA. It's
something we share. But, while you were showing off your
photoshopped body, I was voted the Vegan of the year by PETA.
Did you by the way get the invitation to gala that was arranged
in my honor? I tried to make sure that you got in."
"It seemed to have gotten lost in the mail. Send me a text or
e-mail next time. Belated congratulations on being the Activist
of the Year. Why don’t you just accept that that is my body sans
the muscles. It was PETA’s idea just like it was their idea to
select you as Vegan of the Year."

Christina Applegate is reading the interview.
Some nice cover shots of Alex. She certainly has been featured
in several fitness magazines. Of course she is so thin in most
of them that any muscle definition will stand out whereas Pam's
stand out even with some womanly tissue over them. Still, you
have to give credit for Alex for projecting the image of a
strong woman, something not always popular.
I do suggest to Alex that she not challenge Pam too much for if
Pam puts her mind to something (and she has a superb mind) she
can do almost anything she wants. Alex should have already
learned this from Open Fight Night. I'll put my money on Pam in
the triathlon. She will win if by sheer force of will if nothing
else. But then Pam has a lot more than 'nothing else.'
