[font=times new roman]Joe Rogan: Welcome back all of our fans of
the UCC and the Sin City Slugfest series. We have seen some
impressive bouts thus far in this series and this Rookie
Tournament has been as competitive as any Sin City Slugfest to
date. This final bout in the Tournament should be one of the
best as the two girls involved have never faced one another in a
match and they are pretty equally matched. I am joined by Drew
Barrymore who has refereed a couple of these bouts and has also
joined us ringside for these bouts. Welcome back Drew.[/font]
[font=times new roman]Drew Barrymore: Thanks again Joe. It's
just great to see the action in the ring and down here with you.
[/font]
[font=times new roman]Joe: So what do you think of this final
bout in the Tournament. [/font]
[font=times new roman]Drew: This one will be fast paced and fun
to watch for the fans out there even though both girls have had
two previous bouts. Skai especially has had the hardest path but
she has survived. We will see how she will respond to the fast
and aggressive pace of Julianna LeBlanc. On the other hand
Julianna has thrown a ton of punches and may be a bit arm weary.
It will be interesting to see how will she counter the
quickness of her smaller but faster opponent. I am so looking
forward to this bout. And I have heard that Gillian Anderson has
agreed to referee this bout. [/font]
[font=times new roman]Joe: I thought that Angelina Jolie would
referee this bout but I guess that both fighters asked for a
different referee and agreed on Miss Anderson.[/font]
[font=times new roman]Drew: That is my understanding. We will
see how it goes because Bruce just entered the ring for the
introductions.[/font]
[font=times new roman]Bruce Buffer: Ladies and Gentlemen we are
ready for the final bout of this Rookie Tournament. You have
seen both girls in action so who’s ready for this final.[/font]
[font=times new roman]The crowd cheers as Gillian Anderson
enters the ring so the action is about to begin. [/font]
[font=times new roman]Bruce: First off from the Wannabees stable
she has lightning punches and a solid attack. Here is Julianna
Grace Leblanc. [/font]
[font=times new roman]Julianna makes her way to the ring warming
up and showing her lightning quick fists. She slides through the
ropes looking confident and in great shape. She has Darci Farmer
and Jenna Ortega by her side ready to give any aid that Julianna
might need.[/font]
[font=times new roman]Bruce: And Julianna’s opponent for this
bout is from the Lost Wildcats stable and she has performed
beautifully in two previous bouts showing some incredible skill
and a lot of heart, here she is, the one and only Skai
Jackson.[/font]
[font=times new roman]Skai makes her way to the ring looking
ready for a war as she is followed by her Wildcats team mates
Devore Ledridge and Miranda Cosgrove who hold the ropes as Skai
slides under and leaps to her feet and showing her skill as she
dances around shadow boxing. Gillian has to step up to the plate
as Julianna and her pals block Skai and a nasty confrontation
ensues as the six participants exchange words and nearly come to
blows before Gillian steps between the two groups. Gillian warns
the two groups not to start anything and to keep their tempers
under control but even the crowd can sense that this one would
get out of hand.[/font]
[font=times new roman]Joe: So Drew what do you think?[/font]
[font=times new roman]Drew: My thought is that this will be a
real war. If Julianna can use her reach and keep up her torrid
pace Skai won't last long. If Skai uses her footwork and steps
in and out she might cause Julianna to miss and that will wear
her out. This wight go down as the best fight in Sin City
history. I pick Julianna in a KO late in the 3[sup]rd[/sup].
How about you, Joe?[/font]
[font=times new roman]Joe: I really like Skai. She's proven she
can hang in there and not let her size, or lack of size make a
difference. She beat the snot out of Madelyn Cline who towered
over her so I think that the couple of inches that Julianna has
on her isn't going to be a factor. Plus she's a Lost Wildcat.
That team is on a roll and winning just about everything lately.
[/font]
[font=times new roman]Round 1: [/font]
[font=times new roman]The bell sounds and Gillian backs away as
Julianna and Skai close the gap and begin the match. Julianna
quickly takes control using her quick punches to keep Skai at a
distance. Skai counters but with little effect as Julianna looks
quick on her feet and keeps Skai at bay. Skai does not seem to
be affected by Julianna’s attack as she stands firm and uses the
ropes for balance. Julianna keeps moving forward and easily
avoids anything that Skai throws and then counters with some
rabbit punches to Skai’s body. Julianna’s corner continue to
urge her on to finish Skai while the Wildcats corner look
worried as Skai looks like she is taking a lot of punishment.
[/font]
[font=times new roman]As the round progresses Julianna keeps the
pressure on and does not give Skai any chance to make a recovery
but Skai continues to work hard and dances her way out of
trouble on a couple of occasions. Then as the round was coming
to an end, Skai landed a glancing blow to Julianna’s head that
caused Julianna to stagger backwards a bit surprised. Skai moves
forward as she tries to make a move but before she can truly
hurt Julianna, the bell sounds but neither girl seems to hear as
they keep throwing punches. [/font]
[font=times new roman]Gillian tries to get between the two but
tempers have flared and the fight continues as Julianna throws a
looping left hook that wraps around Skai and she uses that to
throw Skai to the mats. Skai twists to her feet and angrily
drives into Julianna and the two tumble to the mats fighting
hard. Gillian was caught off balance but she recovered and with
the help of both corners, was able to separate the two but it
was clear that the nastiness was not over. Julianna wins the
round 10-8 and takes the early lead on the scorecard.[/font]
[font=times new roman]Drew: See what I told you Joe, Julianna is
kicking Skai's butt so far. I know this is far from over over
but so far it's all Julianna and her reach. But if you look at
them they are glaring at each other and they look ready to tear
one another apart. [/font]
[font=times new roman]Joe: As always you are right Drew. You
might have to jump in and help Gillian out. These two might not
be the biggest girls out there but they are both incredibly
fierce competitors. I think you'll see Skai come back this
round. If not then I think she might be done.[/font]
[font=times new roman]Round 2: [/font]
[font=times new roman]Katherine McNamara has moved closer to the
ring and is trying to catch Skai’s attention but Devore and
Miranda are blocking Skai from hearing her. All of this as the
bell sounds to begin round 2. The two close the gap and
immediately Julianna goes back to work throwing wild punches.
Skai does her best to block and dodge the attack but Julianna is
letting loose with a wild barrage. Katherine is still trying to
call out to Skai but suddenly Miranda and Devore turns and yells
at Katherine to leave Skai alone. Harsh words are exchanged and
Devore turns to go after Katherine but Security hearing what was
going on between the two grab Devore and haul her back to the
locker room leaving Miranda looking bewildered. Back in the ring
Skai and Julianna have been going at it with all they could when
Skai suddenly slips trying to defend herself and drops to her
backside under a flurry of wild punches. Gillian pushes Julianna
back to a neutral corner even as Skai gets to her feet and
Julianna pushes past Gillian to go back after Skai and she lands
some hard punches before Gillian can once again push Julianna to
a neutral corner so she can start her count. [/font]
[font=times new roman]Skai looks unhurt and motions for Julianna
to bring it on and as Gillian finishes her count, Julianna
lunges back at Skai and the two start swinging again. Skai is
able to land a couple of hooks to Julianna’s body but they do
not hurt her as Julianna keeps moving forward with a ferocious
attack driving Skai into the ropes. The two end up in a clinch
and Skai tries to twist off of the ropes but Julianna drives a
brutal combination into Skai’s body. Before Gillian can break
the clinch the bell sounds and as she separating the two,
Julianna lands a crippling punch to the liver and Skai bends in
two and falls to a knee. Julianna has won the round but has lost
a point for the late punch so the round ends up being a draw at
9-9 leaving the scored 19-18 in favor of Julianna[/font]
[font=times new roman]Skai gets to her feet and makes a lunge
for Julianna.[/font]
[font=times new roman]Skai: Is that all you got Julianna?
[/font]
[font=times new roman]Juliana glares back at Skai as Miranda
pulls Skai to her corner where Katherine waits. Across the ring
Darci and Jenna are trying to calm Julianna down and cool her
off.[/font]
[font=times new roman]Drew: That was another wild and brutal
round but Joe I am not really for sure if Julianna is hurting
Skai. She has thrown a lot of punches but Skai has done a
superb job of countering Julianna. Unfortunately for Skai she is
not able to land anything solid on Julianna and is expending a
ton of energy trying to ward Julianna off.[/font]
[font=times new roman]Joe: That’s what I am seeing but that
liver punch has done some damage. Just what is going on in
Skai’s corner? Miranda and Katherine are in a pretty serious
disagreement.[/font]
[font=times new roman]In Skai’s corner Miranda is yelling at
Katherine to leave them alone while Katherine seems to be trying
to talk to Skai. Katharine McPhee, the team’s leader joins the
two and abruptly sends Miranda back to the locker room as she
realizes that Katherine McNamara has clearly taken control of
the corner and Skai is all ears as she takes in some solid
advice. [/font]
[font=times new roman]Joe: It all comes down to these final 5
minutes. The Inaugural Rookie Title is on the line and I feel
whoever wins this round will walk away with the belt.[/font]
[font=times new roman]Drew: I agree. Skai needs to do some
damage if she wants to slow Julianna down. If Julianna stays on
her feet she will win.[/font]
[font=times new roman]Round 3:[/font]
[font=times new roman]Katherine has Skai’s ear now and Skai
seems to acknowledge the advice. Katherine gives Skai a final
drink of water and Skai gets to her feet ready to go and already
motioning for Julianna to come on. The bell sounds and Julianna
obliges Skai’s taunts as she moves in with more wild punches.
Skai ducks and dodges and dances out of Julianna’s reach which
draws Julianna closer where Skai hammers Julianna’s body with a
brutal combination. Julianna counters with a glancing blow to
Skai’s head sending Skai into the ropes. Julianna follows her in
and Skai slips to the side then drills her with a damaging right
hook to Julianna’s body. Skai swings Julianna into the ropes and
unloads a series of punches to Julianna’s body. Julianna caught
by surprise drops to her knees and Gillian pushes Skai to a
neutral corner and starts the 10 count. Julianna is on her feet
at 7 and looks more pissed off than hurt. Gillian checks
Julianna’s eyes and asks if she can continue and Julianna’s
response was to push her out of the way and begins throwing more
punches at Skai who easily dances out of danger and throws a
couple of jabs to slow Julianna down. [/font]
[font=times new roman]The two exchange jabs and Julianna leaps
forward with a couple of hooks to Skai’s body. This time Skai is
in trouble and drops to her knees and Gillian pushes Julianna to
a neutral corner. Julianna seems to sense that she has won as
she raises her hands and starts celebrating. This turns out to
be premature as Skai gets to her feet claiming she slipped and
Gillian lets the bout continue. Julianna’s confidence vanishes
as Skai moves in landing some damaging punches to Julianna’s
ribs and a thudding hook to the Wannabee's belly. Julianna backs
away able to counter with a couple of sharp jabs but Skai steps
back in and rams home two more hooks to the navel and Julianna
suddenly drops back into the ropes. Skai unloads a series of
body punches and Julianna covers up her gloves to her ears and
her elbows tucked into her ribs. [/font]
[font=times new roman]Skai is picking her shots plowing crosses
into the ribs and hooks to the stomach. Julianna's is bent over
in agony as Skai isn't letting up. An uppercut splits the guard
snapping Julianna's head back and a crippling punch to the
belly sends Julianna's mouthpiece flying and she falls forward
cradling her gut. Gillian pushes Skai to a neutral corner as
Julianna rolls up into a ball unable to catch her breath.
Gillian start the count but it's clear to everyone in attendance
that Julianna isn't about to be getting up any time soon.
Gillian reaches 10 and waves off the fight.[/font]
[font=times new roman]Joe: OMG this bout is over Drew.[/font]
[font=times new roman]Drew: What happened did I miss something.
Julianna was in complete control. I didn’t think that Skai hurt
Julianna but she must have. Jenna and Darci are trying to help
Julianna out of the ring but she is still on the mat in agony
and may have a broken rib. [/font]
[font=times new roman]Bruce Buffer: Ladies and Gentlemen we have
our winner and our first Rookie boxing champ. Here she is with a
Knock out due to body punches, At 3 minutes and 18 seconds of
the 3[sup]rd[/sup] and final round. Your winner, Skai
Jackson.[/font]
[font=times new roman][/font]
[font=times new roman]Post Fight: [/font]
[font=times new roman]Skai’s arms are raised and Katherine
McNamara lifts Skai off her feet victoriously and the
celebration is on. [/font]
[font=times new roman]Joe: Skai a quick word. How did this
happen.[/font]
[font=times new roman]Skai: Joe I was surprised, Julianna threw
a lot of punches out there but she was really not hurting me.
[/font]
[font=times new roman]Joe: You went down a couple of times what
was that about.[/font]
[font=times new roman]Skai: Well she caught me both times when I
slipped at the same time she threw a hook and I got caught off
balance. But let me repeat she did not hurt me. I think Julianna
ran out of steam. She has thrown a lot of punches in this
tournament and she ran out of punches. That’s when I took
Katherine’s advice and started moving. Katherine knows what she
is talking about. It’s a shame that she got hurt in her bout
with Madelyn. [/font]
[font=times new roman]Joe: That was another classic bout that
all of us would like to see again.[/font]
[font=times new roman]Skai: Me too. Katherine will wipe the
floor with her next time.[/font]
[font=times new roman]Joe: Well congratulations Skai you
deserved this win and you can enjoy the moment.[/font]
[font=times new roman]Drew: Skai, how does it feel to be the
very first Rookie Champion?[/font]
[font=times new roman]Skai: You know you go into these
competitions and you never know how they will end. 3 fights back
to back makes it even harder. Facing bigger opponents like
Madelyn Cline kind of makes you work harder but you know what
they say, the bigger they are the harder they fall.[/font]
[font=times new roman]As the celebration moves back to the
locker rooms, the lights begin to dim.[/font]
[font=times new roman]Joe: This has been another amazing
Slugfest. Congratulations to all the winners. I want to thank
all of those who joined me at ringside, who refereed these
battles and to our judges. This has been an amazing day. Thank
you fans for joining us and we hope to see each and every one of
you again. [/font]
[font=times new roman]As Joe is leaving, MGM officials step into
the ring and there is a quick conference between Joe, ,Bruce,
Gillian and the rind officials. Joe takes back the mic as the
spotlight picks him back up.[/font]
[font=times new roman]Joe: Ladies and Gentleman, you are not
going to believe this.[/font]
[font=times new roman]The crowd looks a bit confused as many
are on their way out.[/font]
[font=times new roman]Joe: I have just been informer that we
will have a bonus fight.[/font]
[font=times new roman]Not the fans stop and many start returning
to their seats.[/font]
[font=times new roman]Joe: We will have a Special Grudge Match
between Lost Wildcats Debby Ryan and Katharine McPhee![/font]
[font=times new roman]Now the crowd erupts as the ballroom is
alive and electric.[/font]
[font=times new roman]Joe: This in not only a match between 2
undefeated Sin City Slugfest boxers, but it is for control of
the Lost Wildcat Stable! Debby and Katherine apparently has some
issues after Debby's win over Hunter King and the two had some
words and agreed to this once in a lifetime match! Hold on
folks because in a few moments we will be witnessing two of the
greatest boxers in Sin City Slugfest history go toe to toe for
10 rounds! Are we ready?[/font]
[font=times new roman]The fans are going wild as the lights dim
and as the fighters get ready for the match of the
century.[/font]
