Pre-Fight:

Joe Rogan: Welcome back to the Sin
City Slugfest for the second bout of the 2nd round of the
Rookies tournament where we will see two girls box it out for 3
rounds who have never faced off against one another and this one
should be another good bout. I am joined by Angelina Jolie here
at ringside for some commentary. Welcome Angelina, you have
refereed several of these boxing bouts, What is your estimation
of this next bout.
Angelina Jolie: Well Joe, The Lost
Wildcats stable and the Hot and the Dangerous stable work
together out of the same gym so it surprises me that these two
have not faced one another even in their training. Reylynn
Caster looked really good in her first round bout against Jayden
Bartels. Jayden gave it a good run against Reylynn but Reylynn
proved to be the better boxer.
Joe: I agree Reylynn looked like
she knew what she was doing what about Skai Jackson.
Angelina: Skai was up against the
wall and I have never witnessed a bout like that one. Skai
trained hard against a much bigger and some day more talented
fighter in Madelyn Cline who clearly had the physical advantage
over her. Skai surprised almost everyone when she came away with
the win.
Joe: Yeah Skai fought her heart out
and she may not have enough left in her tank to beat Reylynn.
Well I think that it is about that time for the action to begin
as Bruce Buffer has now entered the ring for the
announcement.
Bruce Buffer: Thanks Joe, we have
seen both of these girls in the first round so without further
ado, From the Hot and the Dangerous stable here is Reylynn
Caster.
Reylynn along with her corner of
Sasha Calle and Emme Rylan as well as the rest of the stable not
far behind stroll down the runway and slide into the ring where
Sasha and Emme massage Reylynn’s shoulders as they await her
opponent. Even Hunter King has made an appearance in support of
her former stable.
Bruce: And from the Lost Wildcats
stable, join me in welcoming back to the ring, Skai Jackson.

Skai looking like a bouncing ball
makes her way down the runway with her corner of Devore Ledridge
and Miranda Cosgrove and eagerly slides through the ropes
showing her lightning quick fists as she warms up. Both Skai and
Reylynn glare at one another across the ring and you can feel
the tension rise as they glare at one another.
Bruce: Our referee for this bout
will be Helen Hunt.
Helen Hunt motions for the two
combatants to join her in the center of the ring and lets them
know the rules and what she will expect from both fighters.
After bumping gloves the two return to their corners where both
get their mouth peices inserted and a last gulp of water.

Round 1:

The bell sounds and Helen motions
for the bout to begin. Both girls are on their toes and dancing
around lightly throwing jabs and trying to figure one another
out. Skai misses a couple of those jabs as Reylynn uses her
longer reach to land some heavier jabs that keep Skai at arms
length. Skai swings a couple more punches wildly missing Reylynn
who steps back and continues to land jabs at will on Skai.
Reylynn backs Skai into the ropes with some nice jabs and
combines that with some looping hooks that shorten the distance
and allows Skai to catch Reylynn with a looping left hook to the
side of Reylynn’s head that staggers Reylynn who stumbles
backwards and falls to her backside. Helen pushes Skai to a
neutral corner and issues an 8 count. Reylynn looks shaky but
seems okay so Helen motions for the bout to continue and Reylynn
falls back into the ropes where she manages to clinch Skai.
Helen moves in to break the clinch and Reylynn throws and lands
a long overhand right that knocks Skai down but she is saved by
the bell as Helen reaches a 6 count. Helen admonishes Reylynn
for a late punch but doesn’t take a point from the Hot and the
Dangerous fighter believing it was at the bell. Skai wins the
round 10-9 for a brief lead on the scorecard.
Joe: That was a brutal first round
from both girls I don’t know if you can predict a winner from
that round but what do you think Angelina.
Angelina: A very close round, I
would not want to be a judge for this bout. Oh wait who is that
who just moved to ringside.
Joe: It looks like Katherine
McNamara, She is telling something to Skai in their corner.

Katherine says something to Skai
but Miranda and Devore both push Katherine away telling her to
leave them alone. Katherine raises her hands innocently and goes
back to her seat but Skai shakes her head at Katherine and gives
her a smile.

Round 2:

The bell sounds for round 2 and
Skai comes out cautiously. Reylynn with the confidence and her
longer reach grabs the advantage begins using her jab once again
putting Skai against the ropes trying to block Reylynn’s attack.
Reylynn keeps the pressure on landing punches at will but Skai
is able to keep her footing and tries to work away from the
ropes. Skai is taking a lot of punches to the face and upper
body from Reylynn but still stays upright and uses the ropes to
help her stay on her feet. Reylynn steps back a step to readjust
and this gives Skai the chance she needs to slip to the side.
Reylynn expecting this threw a heavy left hook that catches Skai
off balance and for the second time Skai is on her backside.
Reylynn stays too close for Helen to start her count and she
spends a few seconds pushing Reylynn over to a neutral corner
while Devore and Miranda scream for Skai to get up. Skai does
get up but she looks a bit wobbly and Helen checks her eyes to
see if she can continue. Luckily for Skai, she beats the count
and Helen motions for the bout to continue. Reylynn moves in for
more punishment and lands some effective body punches but Skai
moves with the punches and retaliates with some even more
effective punches to Reylynn’s body. Skai though can not connect
with anything to stop Reylynn and the two dance around the ring
with Reylynn beginning to chase Skai. The bell sounds to end the
round and Helen has to work to get the two separated with
warnings for both. As she returns to her corner, Skai catches a
quick glimpse at Katherine who gives her a thumbs up and Skai
settles in her corner where Devore and Miranda work feverishly
to stop a small cut on Skai’s right cheek and cool her down.
Reylynn in her corner listens to Emme and Sasha’s instructions
to finish Skai off. Reylynn wins this round 10-8 and takes a one
point lead on the scorecard.

Angelina: That was another brutal
round especially Skai who took a ton of punishment. She is going
to have to work for this win.
Joe: Agreed, Reylynn is looking
better and better with each passing second. I just don'r see
Skai making out of the 3[sup]rd[/sup] round.

Round 3:

The bell sounds and both girls are
on their feet. The two close in and immediately begin slugging
it out toe to toe. This should work to Reylynn’s advantage with
her longer reach but Skai has worked in on that reach and is
doing some good damage with her shorter but more physical
punches. Reylynn works hard to keep her momentum and the two
fall back into the ropes and really going at it. At the three
minute mark Reylynn slips but gets to her feet quickly and
protests loudly about having to take a standing 8 count from
Helen. When the action continues Reylynn launches a wicked jab
and hook combination that staggers Skai briefly but Skai seems
to absorb those punches and uses her feet to dance out of
danger. Reylynn keeps working but Skai is doing her thing and
moving so quickly that Reylynn cannot finish her. Skai lands
some good punches to Reylynn’s body and Reylynn falls into the
ropes. Skai follows her in and the two exchange some impressive
punches until the bell sounds and again Helen has to try to
separate the two who clinch and Reylynn uses her body to flip
Skai to the canvas. Skai quickly gets to her feet and goes back
after Reylynn tackling her to the mats where the two twist
around angrily for a few seconds before their corner’s help
separate the two and the scene nearly explodes as security leaps
into action and gets everyone to their respective corners. Helen
has a point deducted from Reylynn for throwing Skai to the mats
and a point from both girls for their brief fight. Skai wins the
round and it is up to the Judges for a winner.
Bruce Buffer: Ladies and Gentlemen
we have a winner in this spectacular bout. Judge 1 scores it
27-26 in favor of Skai, Judge 2 scores it 27-26 in favor of
Reylynn and Judge 3 scores it 27-26 in favor of your winner by
Split Decision, Skai Jackson.
Skai has her arm raised in victory
but turns to Reylynn and the two embrace after their brutal 3
round bout.
Angelina: I don’t know if I agree
about that one but hey I am not a Judge, thank goodness.
Joe: I agree with the decision
because I think that Skai looked a bit better that last round.

Angelina: Either way we have our
winner in Skai and now she faces off against the very dangerous
Julianna LeBlanc. That should be a wild one that I have been
asked to referee but I don’t know about that one. Either best of
luck to both of these girls.
Joe: Very good Angelina I will see
you again soon. For now Skai can we get a quick word from
you.
Skai: Sure Joe.
Joe: That was a great match Skai
how did you make that happen.
Skai: Well Joe I can thank
Katherine McNamara for that one. She came up and said something
to me that made sense and that was to use my feet and move. The
rest will come as I open up my opponent. Reylynn is as tough as
they come and I really loved that she did not take offense and
we were able to shake hands and embrace after such a bitter
bout.
Joe: Well now its just you and
Julianna Leblanc. Julianna looks quick and aggressive. How will
you counter that.
Skai: Rely on my instincts, that’s
all I can do.
Joe: Well best of luck we will see
you shortly for the finale.
