Pre-Fight:
Mackenzie Davis is coming off a tough opening bout with Olivia
Dunne. She took a beating in the opening rounds but came back in
the end winning by KO. After the fight Mackenzie looked dazed
and confused walking around the ring unable to make the post
fight interview.
Julianna breezed through her fight with Mackenzie's teammate
Florence Pugh. Florence, while being bigger and stronger failed
to land more than a handful of punches as Julianna proved to be
elusive and she threw an impressive 300 punches in just 2
rounds.
Mackenzie enters the ring accompanied by Jennifer Connelley and
Gemma Atkinson and looks like the two hours between bouts have
done wonders as she bounces on her toes and throws out some
quick jabs.
Julianna steps into the ring with the Madison Pettis and Brec
Bassinger. They quickly get Julianna ready and send to out to
the middle for instructions. Christina Applegate gives them
directions then sends them to their corners.
Round: 1
Julianna looks to pick up where she left off but Mackenzie is
ready. She leans back as a 3 punch combo sails by then drives a
hook to the ribs and Julianna stumbles to the left then falls
over her feet landing fat on her face. Mackenzie raises her arms
as Julianna rolls on her side holding her ribs. Christina is
taken off guard and starts counting then walks Mackenzie to a
neutral corner. She picks up the count at 4 and that infuriates
Jennifer and Gemma. At 7 Julianna makes her feet but she looks
to be on rubbery legs. Christina gives a quick once over and
brings in Mackenzie.
Mackenzie sees her chance and storms over Julianna but despite
being stunned, the barely legal Wannabee is still fleet footed
and manages to duck and weave her way out of trouble. By the 2nd
minute she starts thwarting her own strikes and they are landing
at an alarming rate as Mackenzie isn't able to adjust to the
torrid pace and just may have blown a golden opportunity.
Straight rights jar Mackenzie back and a 3 punch combo knocks
the air form Mackenzie's lungs. She backs away holding her arms
out and survives some brutal combos. Mackenzie works the jab and
they seem to be causing Julianna problems. Mackenzie looks like
a completely different fighter as she feints to the left then
lands a right cross to the temple and Julianna goes down.
Referee Christina Applegate ushers Mackenzie to a neutral corner
then picks up the count at 4 and with the aid of the ropes,
Julianna is able to pull herself up and at 8 is ready. Christina
asks her if she is able continue and Julianna gives her a shove.
Christina is incensed and stops the fight, takes a point away
from Julianna and lets her know her next trip to the canvas will
be her last as the 3 knockdown rule is in effect.
Julianna isn't concerned and heads straight for Mackenzie but
the Hellfire blonde is ready and she blasts Julianna with an
uppercut to the chin and her legs buckle. Julianna looses her
footing and her legs are barely keeping up but she catches
herself before falling into the ropes.
The end may be near for the Wannabee rookie as she gets clubbed
on the temple and wobbles to the left, then to the right and
just manages to duck a wild haymaker. Julianna is stumbling like
she is running in the surf as Mackenzie stalks her down.
Julianna's back is on the ropes as Mackenzie leans in but misses
with a wild overhand right. She loads up another cross then out
of nowhere one, two, three, four, five, solid hooks connect with
Mackenzie's gut then an uppercut lands on her chin and the
stunned Hellfire rookie staggers back to the center of the ring.
Mackenzie is dazed and her left foot looks like it is nailed to
the canvas as she spins in circles to the right. Julianna
unloads a blinding flurry of punches and Mackenzie is eating
every one. It's getting ugly in there and Referee Christina
Applegate looks confused but as the damage piles up she has no
option but to step in and stop the fight.
Julianna Grace Leblanc wins by TKO at 4 minutes 24 seconds of
the 1st round.
Post Fight:
Jennifer Connelley runs out of her corner as it is clear that
Mackenzie has a concussion. She helps her to the locker room as
Joe Rogan starts to interview Julianna.
Joe: Julianna, another win but you really got tagged a couple of
times.
Julianna: No excuses, Joe. I got sloppy and Mackenzie nearly
took my head off. My legs almost stopped working.
Joe: Another, lets see. 107 punches thrown in less than a round.
How can you keep that especially considering this is your second
fight.
Julianna: Like I said, the Wannabees can box. We should be 11-0
and when I win the rookie tournament the Wannabee's will put
anther stamp on Sin City. We own this f&cking event.
Joe: I think that actually Strikeforce has a slightly better
overall record.
Julianna: F$ck those Strikeforce pussies. We'll take them on
just like the Badass Barbies.
Joe: Good luck in the finals against either Reylynn Caster or
Skia Jackson. Any preferences on who you will be fighting?
Julianna: Let's see. Reylynn looks like she can fight and Skai
looks like a pushover. I will probably be fighting Reylynn.
Joe: Well whoever you face it should be a great fight. Ladies
and Gentleman, your winner, Julianna Grace Leblanc!
