Pre-Fight:
Joe Rogan: Ladies and Gentlemen thanks for staying with us as we
prepare for the last bout in the first round. This one should be
a pretty intense bout as the Badass Barbies and Lost Wildcats
stables are sending in two rookies. Bruce Buffer is in the ring
and ready for introductions.
Bruce: Thanks Joe and Ladies and Gentlemen lets get this one
going. First off from the Lost Wildcats stable standing 5 feet 2
inches tall and weighing 99 pounds here is Skai Jackson.
Skai makes her way down to the ring looking confident but all
business like and is followed by her friends Devore Ledridge and
Sofia Wylie. The Wildcats team follows close behind and is ready
to step in if anything gets out of control.
Bruce: Her opponent fighting out of the Badass Barbies stable,
standing 5 feet 6 inches and weighing 131 pounds here is Madelyn
Cline.
Madelyn makes her way to the ring followed closely by her
friends Olivia Rodrigo and Selena Gomez and flaunts and taunts
the smaller Skai as she passes by the Lost Wildcats corner. Skai
does not respond but Devore invites the Barbies fighters to
bring it on.
Bruce: Our referee for this bout will be Courtney Cox.
Joe: I am joined at ringside by Vanessa Marano from the Awesome
Aries stable and hope that everyone keeps their calm. Vanessa
welcome back.
Vanessa Marano: Thanks Joe you know its always a pleasure to
join you. I don’t know who set these matches up but this looks
like a mismatch. Skai is really in trouble here.
Joe: I hope that Skai can handle herself. You could be right and
this may turn into a blood bath.
Courtney Cox calls the two fighters to join her and issue
warnings to both stables to keep their heads on straight because
she was not going to put up with any shenanigans. Skai looks
fearless as she stands up confidently to Madelyn who seems to
sense that Skai could be trouble. Nonetheless the two bump
gloves and Madelyn nearly shoves Skai off balance as they bump
gloves and head back to their corners awaiting the bell.
Round 1:
Skai is dancing around with abundant energy and looks ready to
go while Madelyn is getting some last minute instructions from
her team. The bell sounds and Courtney motions for the two to
begin. Skai moves in with quick body punches but Madelyn unloads
a huge left hook that literally lifts Skai off her feet and she
staggers to the left then drops unexpectedly to her knees.
Luckily Skai drops close to her corner and Devore and Sofia lean
over to help her up drawing screams of anger from the other
corner and the Barbies team. Courtney issues a severe warning to
Devore and Sofia who raise their hands innocently explaining
that they did not know they could not help their teammate.
All of this gave Skai some extra seconds to recover and after
Courtney turns to the judges to takes a point from Skai for the
interference, the action resumes. Skai moves in and uses her
lightning quick punches to dazzle Madelyn. Skai kept the
advantage with her quickness and energy and Madelyn was growing
more furious with each second ticking by. The bell sounded with
Skai having Madelyn cornered and hammering punches into her
bigger opponents body. Skai wins the round 9-8 as Madelyn could
not hit Skai after that first series.
Madelyn leans back against the ropes not sure what just hit her.
She rubs her jaw and straightens her top and looks around for
the truck that just ran over her.
Vanessa: Wow Skai looked great out there in the first round but
Madelyn is still bigger and stronger and has the reach
advantage.
Joe: I agree, Madelyn can win this bout if she doesn’t let her
temper get the better of her.
Vanessa: You are right about that Joe. Courtney will be watching
for interference from Devore and Sofia. So Skai will not have
that to her advantage from here on out.
Round 2:
The bell sounds and Skai moves back in dodging a couple of wild
punches from Madelyn and driving the bigger blonde into the
ropes. Skai’s quickness is clearly on display as she punishes
Madelyn with an incredible series of body punches. A minute
later Madelyn drops to her knees and Courtney start the count.
Madelyn struggles back to her feet at 7 before Courtney finishes
the count.
Skai moves back in and destroys Madelyn with a furious and
lightning quick barrage of punches and for the second time
Madelyn drops to her knees. Madelyn looks hurt but gets back to
her feet this time by 8 but she looks unsteady on her feet as
Skia's quickness and surprising power have her on the verge of
passing out.
Courtney moves back and Skai moves in to finish the bout but
Madelyn latches onto Skai and refuses to let go which Skai
counters with some brutal rabbit punches making Madelyn groan
out. Madelyn bullies Skai into the ropes and leans on her in a
clinch trying to wear Skai down. Courtney moves in to break the
clinch just as the bell sounds to end to round.
Madelyn lets out a huge sigh as she bends over, hands on her
knees then slowly heads to her corner. The round is all Skia as
she takes it by an amazing 10-7. Madelyn, if she can recover
will need a knock out if she wants to advance.
Joe: Skai is doing an impressive job, very surprising.
Vanessa: I did not expect this from Skai. She is determined to
win this bout but even if she does survive, she will not have
anything left for the rest of the tourney.
Joe: You are right about that and Reylynn would be her next
opponent and she looked very impressive with her win over Jayden
Bartels.
Vanessa: I really don't care for The Hot and the Dangerous but
they do have some tough fighters. Reylynn looks like one of
them.
Round 3:
The bell sounds for round 3 and Skai is on her feet ready to go.
Madelyn is slow off her seat and Skai is yelling at her to get
up. Finally Madelyn is up and she throws a looping left that
barely grazes Skai’s head as Skai dances back for a second and
lunges back in with a brutal series of lefts and rights that
have Madelyn falling into the ropes. Madelyn throws another wild
left hook that misses and Skai dances out of the way and slams a
brutal hook of her own into Madelyn’s body and Madelyn drops to
her knees reaching for her ribs. Courtney jumps in and stops the
bout as Madelyn is hurt.
Post Fight:
Skai jumps up and down excitedly as Devore and Sofia join her in
the ring to celebrate. At the same time Olivia and Selena jump
in to help Madelyn. Olivia says something to Devore who then
calls Olivia a talent less singer who steal hooks from Taylor
Swift and before Security can respond, Olivia and Devore
suddenly explode in a wild fistfight. Both are landing brutal
punches and neither is worried about any sort of defense. Sofia
and Selena get the two separated but both Olivia and Devore are
ready to finish it.
Security leaps into action and gets the two squads separated as
both teams converge on the scene and look to fight. Security
does their job and moves the two stables to their separate
sides. Devore has a fat lip and Olivia's has a mouse under her
left eye and blood is trickling out of her nose.
Devore: How's that Rodrigo?
Bruce: Ladies and Gentlemen we have our winner here. By Knockout
at 45 seconds into the 3rd round, Your winner, Skai Jackson
Skai’s arms are lifted in victory as words are exchanged from
both the Barbies and Wildcats stables as security struggles to
keep the stables apart. Devore manages to reach out and grab a
firm hand full of Olivia's hair and refuses to let go violently
yanking her head from side to side. Olivia lunges forward and
grabs onto Devore's top and rips it in half leaving the blonde
Wildcat in her bra. As the two ware pulled apart Olivia hold
Devore's top over her head while Devore has a big handful of
Olivia's brunette locks in her hand. Joe Rogan shakes his head
as he enters the ring to talk to Skai.
Joe: Skai that was an amazing win for you. How did you do that.
Skai: Joe I knew going in that Madelyn was bigger than me and
had a pretty decent reach advantage. I knew after Madelyn hit me
with her first punches, that I had to move and keep on my toes.
That’s what I did and then I was able to get inside her reach
and hammered her with a lot of combinations.
Joe: You did just that, how does it feel in the boxing ring.
Skai: It feels great, other than Madelyn knocking me on my
backside, I was able to move in and out with good precision.
Joe: Can you do that going against Reylynn Caster in the next
round.
Skai: It will be a bit tougher, but at least Reylynn does not
have as much of an advantage over me. We are both in superb
shape and this could be a great battle.
Joe: Are you saying that Madelyn isn't in good shape?
Skia: You saw the fight up close. Sure, Madelyn looks the part
but she kind of ran out of steam.
Joe: Are you saying that she may be a little soft?
Skia: Now you're putting words in my mouth, Joe. I said she may
have run out of gas and yes, after the first clean shots she
started to fade but I never called her soft.
Joe: I think you might be right. I will let you go get rested
before your next bout with Reylenn. Good luck and we will see
how it goes.
Skai departs with her team leaving Joe with Vanessa.
Joe: So Vanessa. Was that surprising for you as it was for me.
Vanessa: It caught me completely by surprise. I didn’t think
that Skai was that talented or tough. She went toe to toe with a
much bigger and stronger opponent and was the one pushing her
opponent around the ring. We will see how much farther she can
go in this tournament. I really expect that Reylynn will knock
Skai out by the 2nd round. That's just me and I might be a
little biased.
Joe: You might be right because Reylynn really looked good in
her bout and she has a bit of a reach advantage over Skai but
she does not have Madelyn’s power or strength.
Vanessa: After watching Madelyn, I think Reylynn would have
kicked her ass also. The Badass Barbies are kind of sucking it
up at Sin City. I think they are something like 5-10 so far.
Joe: Actually with Livvy Dunne's loss they are 5-11.
Vanessa: Yeah, they kind of suck.
Joe: Thank you again for your time, Vanessa/ You are always one
of the best guests and your insight is second to none. Will we
be seeing you in the ring anytime soon?
Vanessa: God, I hope so, I really miss the physical contact.
There is nothing like punching another women in the face.
Joe: Thanks again, Vanessa and I hope you get your wish.
The lights dim as preparations are made for the semifinals of
the Rookie Tournament.
Back in the Badass Barbie locker room, Olivia Rodrigo is fuming
as her teammates try and calm her down as she keeps heading for
the door looking to fight Devore Ledridge. After being calmed
down Olivia goes to Instagram and post a seething post
challenging Devore to a fight.
In less than a minute the locker room door flies open and Devore
step in looking for Olivia.
Devore: Where the f$ck is Rodrigo?
