my friends Brendan Schaub and Randy Couture has rejoined us for
this heavyweight battle between Deepika Padukone and Priyanka
Chopra. I personally think that this match will be a real war
between two of the heavyweight divisions more popular fighters.
[/font]
[font=arial]Brendan: [/font][font=arial]You are right about one
thing Joe. This will be a good bout. Deepika though has that
long reach and she will take Priyanka apart with her long
powerful punches.[/font]
[font=arial]Randy: [/font][font=arial]You are wrong about that
assessment Brendan. Priyanka is a great fighter and she knows
how to counter punch with the best of them.[/font]
[font=arial]Joe: [/font][font=arial]Our referee for this bout is
Drew Barrymore and we all know that she will handle this bout
with professional hands. Bruce Buffer has entered the ring and
ready for the introductions.[/font]
[font=arial]Bruce Buffer: [/font][font=arial]Ladies and
Gentleman and fans. Lets get this bout under way. First off in
the Blue corner, Fighting out of the World of Fight stable, Here
is Deepika Padukone.[/font]
[font=arial]Deepika is led to the ring by
[/font][font=arial]Alexis Ren[/font][font=arial] and
[/font][font=arial]Emily Van Camp[/font][font=arial]. Alexis and
Emily hold Deepika’s robe as she slides free and struts around
the ring showing off her slim but athletic body. [/font]
[font=arial]Bruce Buffer: [/font][font=arial]And from the
Awesome Aries stable help me bring to the ring Priyanka Chopra.
[/font]
[font=arial]Priyanka is led to the ring by
[/font][font=arial]Kristen Bell[/font][font=arial] and
[/font][font=arial]Keri Russell[/font][font=arial]. Kristen and
Keri help Priyanka out of her robe and Priyanka dances around
the ring making sure to make a taunting gesture at Deepika who
calmly shoots Priyanka the bird and smiles evilly. Drew gathers
all at the center of the ring and describes how the match would
go and hand out the rules she would be enforcing. The bout
would be 10, 3 minute rounds and with a 3 knockdown rule. Drew
would also be enforcing standing 8 counts. Drew also warned
that not following her commands would enact a deduction of
points and there would be no other warnings. She told the two
to shake hands and come out ready to box. The two bumped gloves
and headed back to their corners. Priyanka from the corner of
her eye saw Drew and Deepika exchange a hug before Deepika
headed for her corner.[/font]
[font=arial]Round 1: [/font][font=arial]The bell sounds and Drew
motions for the bout to begin. Deepika and Priyanka are both
wary as they close the gap and begin sparring. The action is
slow and careful for the first 3 minutes of the round as they
feel one another out with short jabs and quickly dancing away.
Both are very careful and Drew watches every move ready to step
in if needed. Deepika gets in a couple of longer jabs and backs
Priyanka into the ropes but Priyanka knows her business and
easily dances away with little effect. Neither is anxious to
make a move and the crowd is getting restless wanting more
action. The bell finally sounds and the round ends with the
crowd reining a few boos for the lack of action. Deepika wins
the round 10-9 [/font]
[font=arial]Round 2: [/font][font=arial]Both girls have worked
up a little sweat but neither seems to be laboring for their
breath as their corners work and pep talk both fighters. The
bell sounds and both are on their feet. After gaining some
confidence at the end of the previous round, Deepika becomes
more aggressive and staggers Priyanka with a series of jabs but
towards the middle of the round Priyanka loses her cool and
hammers Deepika with a brutal onslaught and Deepika goes down.
Drew starts pushing Priyanka towards a neutral corner and
instead of starting an 8 count starts berating Priyanka. By the
time Drew turns for the 8 count, Deepika is already on her feet
and Drew issues her a long standing 8 count. The Aries stable
is giving Drew a hard time but Drew finishes the count and
motions for the bout to continue while ignoring the cries from
the Aries team. Priyanka starts complaining and gives Deepika a
few more seconds to recover and finally the two start going
after one another. Both girls land some punches but Deepika is
using her longer reach to keep Priyanka at a distance with some
sharp jabs while Priyanka is able to counter effectively. The
action starts heating up when the bell sounds to end the round
and Drew has to separate the two. Priyanka with the knockdown
wins the round 10-9 and ties the card at 19 each. [/font]
[font=arial]Round 3: [/font][font=arial]Priyanka and Deepika are
breathing heavily during the break between rounds but neither is
showing any sign of injury from the hard hitting action as the
bell sounds to begin round 3. Drew motions the fighters to the
middle of the ring and gives them the motion to begin the round.
Priyanka looks quickly to get inside Deepika’s long reach and
takes a couple of body punches as she bears into Deepika and
looks like she might have gotten tagged by a big jab as she
drives Deepika into the ropes. Priyanka drives a fierce series
of punches to Deepika’s body and the two get tied up in a
clinch. Drew watches as the two struggle against the ropes and
finally orders the break. Priyanka refuses to back away and
shows some strength as Deepika hangs onto her. Drew gets in
between the two and pushes Priyanka back warning her to break
the clinch. When Drew turns to motion for the fight to
continue, Deepika throws a huge left hook that staggers Priyanka
who falls back into the ropes and Deepika follows her in landing
more body punches and Priyanka is in trouble. Deepika lands a
brutal right cross to Priyanka’s cheek and Priyanka drops to her
backside. Kristen and Keri are crying foul and fortunately for
Priyanka, Drew is warning the Aries corner and this gives
Priyanka a chance to catch her breath and struggle to her feet
before the standing 8 count by Drew. Priyanka is on her feet
and Drew motions for the bout to continue. Priyanka flails
wildly attempting to keep Deepika at a distance but Deepika
fights back with her long jabs. The bell sounds saving Priyanka
and the two head to their corners. Deepika scores the big win
of the round 10-9 and leads the card 29-28. Priyanka is doused
by cold water to revive her senses.[/font]
[font=arial]Round 4: [/font][font=arial]Deepika is on her feet
ready for the next round before the bell while Priyanka is
taking as much time as she can before the bell. When the bell
sounds, Priyanka gets to her feet and the two begin the round.
Priyanka tries to keep her distance and is able to keep moving
away from Deepika’s punches. The corners are calling out
instructions for both fighters and the fans watching were
starting to get restless wanting more action. Deepika misses a
big right hook that wraps around Priyanka’s neck and the two
fall into the ropes in a clinch. Drew lets them fight it out but
they become more entrenched in their clinch. Priyanka lands
some short punches inside the clinch while Drew tries to break
them apart. Drew is warning both girls to break the clinch but
Deepika manages to twist Priyanka into the ropes and lets her
have it. Deepika lands a short punch to Priyanka’s ribs forcing
some separation and Drew moves away just in time to miss Deepika
throwing a devastating right cross that catches Priyanka’s
forehead. Priyanka stumbles as Deepika backs away and Deepika
unloads another big left cross that drops Priyanka to her knee.
Drew motions Deepika to a corner and begins another 8 count that
is interrupted by the bell. Drew follows Priyanka to her corner
and informs the corner that was her second knockdown and that
one more would end the bout. Another win for Deepika 10-9 who
leads 39-37.[/font]
[font=arial]Round 5: [/font][font=arial]Deepika is looking
confident as Alexis and Emily advise Deepika to keep the
pressure on and to not give Priyanka a chance to recover.
Priyanka is on her feet but looking a bit unsteady as the bell
sounds. Deepika charges in goes right after Priyanka who covers
up but takes a couple of punches to the body. Priyanka counters
with a hook to Deepika’s ribs catching her perfectly unaware.
Deepika looks stunned that Priyanka hit her and she staggers
back. The Aries corner urges Priyanka to move in and finish
what she started but Deepika keeps her at bay with a couple of
jabs. The two go back and forth for the next couple of minutes
trading jabs and counter jabs. Priyanka seems to be
concentrating on Deepika’s ribs now and they have been softened
up by Priyanka’s work. The round drags on and Priyanka is
gaining some confidence. Luckily the bell sounds to end the
round and Drew has to get between the two to get them separated
and sent to their corners. Priyanka has won the round 10-9 and
brings the score to 48-47 but still with Deepika leading but the
damage has been done as Deepika seems to be holding her
ribs.[/font]
[font=arial]Round 6: [/font][font=arial]Deepika looks hurt in
her corner and Emily and Alexis are trying to ease her pain.
Priyanka does not look much better but she is on her feet as the
bell sounds to begin the round. Deepika continues to try to
keep Priyanka at a distance with long jabs but her punches have
no sting and Priyanka gains some confidence landing Jab and hook
combinations with accuracy. Deepika is unsteady on her feet and
falls into the ropes. Priyanka follows her in with a short body
punch and Deepika clinches Priyanka as she charges in. This was
a mistake for Deepika as Priyanka gets in some good rabbit
punches to Deepika’s body. Drew separates the clinch and pushes
Priyanka away. Unfortunately Deepika falls forward and drops to
her knees gasping for air. Drew looks confused and looks at
Priyanka wanting to know what she did. Priyanka shrugs and
motions for Drew to count Deepika out. Drew motions for
Priyanka to a neutral corner wasting time and giving Deepika
time to catch her breath. Drew begins the count and by the time
Drew gets to 8, Deepika is on her feet hanging onto the ropes.
Drew motions for the bout to continue and Priyanka moves in for
the kill. Deepika wards her off with a looping right hook that
hooks Priyanka’s neck and the two fall into the ropes in another
hot and sweaty clinch. Drew is trying to separate the two and
Priyanka’s frustration climaxes as she suddenly lifts Deepika
and slams her to the mat. Drew nearly loses her temper as she
pushes Priyanka into a neutral corner just as the bell sounds to
end the round. Drew goes to the judges table and makes sure to
deduct a point from Priyanka for slamming Deepika. Priyanka
wins that round 9-8 and the scorecard now reads 56-56. Deepika
barely makes it to her corner and has a few extra seconds to
recover with Drew talking to both corners that both have now
been knocked down twice and a third knockdown would end the
bout. [/font]
[font=arial]Round 7: [/font][font=arial]Priyanka is on her feet
ready to continue but Drew stops and again warns her about her
antics allowing even more time for Deepika to recover. The bell
has sounded and Drew is giving Priyanka a lot of grief. Kristen
and Keri join the conversation and Drew finally gives the go
ahead to continue the bout. Priyanka finally gets through Drew
and goes for Deepika. The two exchange a couple of jabs and
Deepika falls into the ropes. Deepika throws another long
looping hook and pulls Priyanka into a clinch. Priyanka drives
into Deepika and the two fall into the ropes. Priyanka quickly
backs away and Deepika goes down again. Drew looks a bit
stunned and Priyanka urges her to make the count and end the
bout. Drew looks to the judges and finally waves her arms
ending the bout.[/font]
[font=arial]Randy: [/font][font=arial]Wow that was an incredible
fight. It looks like Priyanka has won this fight but Drew is
talking to the Judges. [/font]
[font=arial]Brendan: [/font][font=arial]I don’t know what that
is all about but I think you are right, Priyanka has won.
[/font]
[font=arial]Joe: [/font][font=arial]You are right Brendan and
Randy. But lets not draw any conclusions Bruce Buffer is in the
ring and has received the Judges decision.[/font]
[font=arial]Drew calls both girls to the center of the ring next
to Bruce and gets ready for the reading of the decision.
[/font]
[font=arial]Bruce: [/font][font=arial]Ladies and Gentlemen, Your
referee Drew Barrymore has stopped this fight at 1:13 of the
7[/font][sup][font=arial]th[/font][/sup][font=arial] round.
Your winner by Knockout is Priyanka Chopra. [/font]
[font=arial]Priyanka’s arms are raised in victory and both
combatants are led away before Joe can get in an interview.
They are surprised though when they are joined by Julianne Hough
and Ai Miyazato.[/font]
[font=arial]Randy: [/font][font=arial]Wow whats this occasion.
Don’t you two have a match coming up.[/font]
[font=arial]Joe: [/font][font=arial]My thoughts exactly. What
are you two up to.[/font]
[font=arial]Julianne: [/font][font=arial]I am not for sure Joe,
I got a message by way of Laura Marano from Ai asking to meet
her up here before we get ready for our bout. For starters
Laura was very brave to come into our locker room by herself to
deliver the note. So Ai here I am what is up.[/font]
[font=arial]Ai: [/font][font=arial]Julianne, I asked you up here
because I don’t want what we have coming up to turn into
something bad. You and I were teammates at one time and we
trained together. We have also been violent enemies and we
fought tooth and nail. [/font]
[font=arial]Julianne: [/font][font=arial]Yes that is all true Ai
and so you know, I respect you and what you had to offer. You
always gave me a good tussle. So explain what you want.[/font]
[font=arial]Ai: [/font][font=arial]I have always been one of
your biggest fans Julianne even when we were in the cage
fighting one another. In the most recent tournament series from
Hawaii. I had two really good fights only to lose in my third
fight. I was not just beaten I had a terrible fight and I was
not feeling myself after that fight.[/font]
[font=arial]Julianne: [/font][font=arial]Ai you are a really
talented fighter. And a great opponent. Don’t sell yourself
short. You just fought an opponent who had your number. So I
am still confused what you want.[/font]
[font=arial]Ai: [/font][font=arial]Okay here it is. I need a
test. I want us to go at it with no regard for anything. I
want us to beat the tar out of one another and whoever wins will
be the winner. No matter the outcome I will get to my feet and
offer my hand in friendship to you. [/font]
[font=arial]Julianne: [/font][font=arial]I think that can be
arranged Ai. I respect you and I know that you have an
incredible heart. I will also offer my hand in friendship after
our match no matter the outcome. [/font]
[font=arial]Brendan: [/font][font=arial]So What am I missing
here. Is this some kind of romance or something. You two are
supposed to be hated enemies. I thought that was why Ai
challenged Julianne.[/font]
[font=arial]Randy: [/font][font=arial]I don’t think so Brendan.
I think that this is two highly competitive fighters who want a
fight but in the end can be friends.[/font]
[font=arial]Joe: [/font][font=arial]I think that you are right
Randy. I have seen these two in competition and I know that
these two would fight to the death if that is what it took. I
applaud both and I hope that in a couple of hours we will see
that fight. So for now we will sign off to get ready for our
next bout which should be a good one.[/font]
