Joe Rogan: Welcome everyone back to The Grand Ballroom in the
beautiful MGM Grand Hotel her in Las Vegas Nevada. I am joined
again by my friend Brendan Schaub for this bout which could be
quite interesting.
Brendan Schaub: Thanks again Joe, I agree that this could be an
interesting battle between two arch rival stables.
Joe Rogan: You are right about that Brendan I don’t know how
these two are rivals because they are in different weight
classes in fact Stephanie McMahan is a Heavyweight and Sasha
Banks is a Lightweight.
Brendan Schaub: The only thing I know about these two is that
Stephanie challenged Sasha and Sasha accepted the challenge.
Joe Rogan: I don’t know much either but apparently Stephanie
thinks that Sasha has a big mouth and thinks that she is someone
to be reckoned with in the UCC. Sasha fears no one but she may
have bitten off more than she can chew in this one.
Brendan Schaub: That’s what I heard. I also heard that
Stephanie was asked to do this in response to what happened with
Kelli Berglund from the Badass Barbies stable and since the
those two stables are friends, it was natural for Stephanie to
accept this challenge. We will see what happens soon. I see
our referee, Drew Barrymore has entered the ring and the two
fighters are heading to the ring. Here is our ring announcer
Bruce Buffer
Bruce Buffer: Ladies and Gentleman welcome to the Grand Ballroom
here at the MGM Grand Resort. We are proud to announce the next
Battle at the Sin City Slugfest 4. So if you are ready, Letssss
gettt readyyyyyyy to rumblllleeeeeeeeeeee. First off in the red
corner. Fighting out of the Strikeforce stable, help me bring
her to the ring with your cheers and applause, here is Stephanie
McMahan.
Stephanie strolls confidently to the ring and slides through the
ropes to the cheers from the crowd with her teammates Angelina
Jolie and Julianne Hough
Bruce Buffer: And in the Blue corner fighting out of the Lost
Wildcats camp, here is Sashaaaa Banksssss.
Sasha with abundant energy bounces to the ring and slides under
the ropes followed by her teammate Stacy Keibler and Jodie
Sweetin and bounces around the ring flaunting her figure and
drawing glares from Stephanie.
Bruce Buffer: Your referee for this bout is Drew Barrymore.
Joe: Thanks Bruce, That look from Stephanie is deafening. If
looks could kill Sasha would already be on her back.
Brendan: I am already scared for Sasha. This could end up being
a severe beating for Sasha. Stephanie is going to give Sasha
the beating of her life.
Joe: Well I think that Drew is ready to get this going. Lets
join her for her instructions.
Drew invites both fighters to the center of the ring as well as
their seconds.
Drew Barrymore: Okay ladies you both know all the rules. Lets
have a clean fight and I will not have to do much work here but
let me make myself clear here. I will not put up with any
illegal stuff. Keep it clean or else. As for you seconds, keep
it out of the ring. If you interfere, you will be escorted out
of here. Do I make myself clear here, Jodie that means you. If
you think that I haven’t seen what you have been up to you are
wrong. I will not put up with it so if you think this is going
to be a problem then you can leave now.
Jodie gives an “I don’t know what you are talking about” look
and shrugs it off. Drew sends the two to their corners and
awaits the bell.
Round 1: Both girls are on their feet excited for this battle
and await for the bell to sound. When the bell sounds, both
girls move to the center of the ring and bump gloves before
circling one another and begin the match exchanging jabs and
counter jabs. Sasha looks quick and energetic as she bounces
around Stephanie who doesn’t seem affected by Sasha’s tactics.
Stephanie seems to be biding her time and allowing Sasha to wear
herself out with her quickness. Sasha is doing a little damage
but has to be careful with Stephanie who has a lot of knockout
power. The action seems energetic but slow to develop into
anything and the round ends with neither lady able to do any
damage. With the bell sounding and the round ending the Judges
are in a quandary about who won the round. Sasha is awarded the
round with her aggressive moves and leads the scorecard 10-9
Brendan: Sasha looks good so far. I am impressed with her speed
and aggressiveness.
Joe: Yeah but she has to be careful, Stephanie can do a lot of
damage with one big punch.
Round 2: The bell sounds and the action continues. Sasha
continues to bounce around throwing jabs and backing away before
Stephanie can wind up and hit her. Stephanie still does not
look concerned and stalks Sasha waiting for her chance to unload
one of her big punches. With 2 minutes gone in the round, the
crowd is beginning to get anxious and a few boos are heard and
that’s when suddenly Stephanie looks tired of Sasha and her jabs
and uses her body to slam Sasha backwards into the ropes and
unloads a series of powerful front punches to Sasha’s body.
This draws the ire from the Wildcats corner who scream for Drew
to step in as Stephanie unloads on Sasha landing several brutal
punches. Sasha remains on her feet but is taking a lot of
punishment and Drew is allowing it to continue. Luckily the
final minute of the round goes quickly and the bell sounds to
end the round with Stephanie smiling at what she has done. A
bit of swelling has Sasha stumbling to her corner where Stacy
and Jodie begin working on their teammate. Stephanie easily
wins the round and has the scorecard tied at 19 apeice.
Brendan: Sasha has taken a lot of punishment in that round but
she is still on her feet but that swelling could be a problem.
Joe: You are right as always Brendan. How will Sasha respond
and can she stay away from Stephanie's power. I think I see
Jodie talking to Drew about what happened in that last minute
and she should be concerned.
Drew talks with Jodie for a few seconds and then goes to
Stephanie’s corner and talks to her. This sets up for the 3rd
round.
Round 3: With the sound of the bell the 3rd round begins and
Sasha is able to continue her jab and duck attack. Stephanie is
not hurt at all but lands a couple of counter jabs to keep Sasha
honest and at a distance. The crowd surrounding the ring have
settled down after seeing Stephanie’s show of power in the
previous round and are waiting to see Stephanie do it again.
Stephanie catches Sasha with a left cross to the side of Sasha’s
head and a small cut has opened in the area where the swelling
appeared in the previous round. Sasha is able to stay out of
trouble pummeling Stephanie with a series of jabs and punches to
the body and starting to hurt Stephanie. Stephanie moves away
with a wild right cross that Sasha ducked and gave time for
Stephanie to dance to the side and regain her composure. The
action is favoring Sasha when the bell sounds to end the round.
Sasha has regained some momentum and wins the round 10-9 and
takes a 29-28 lead on the scorecard.
Joe: Great round by both girls and the crowd seems to love the
action after a slow start.
Brendan: I am enjoying seeing these two ladies fight. Stephanie
though has hurt Sasha. Jodie and Stacy have done a good job of
stopping the bleeding and the swelling under Sasha’s eye has not
been a problem so we will see what happens from here.
Round 4: Stephanie is on her feet before the bell showing Sasha
that she is not hurt while Sasha waits for the bell before
getting off her seat. The two engage with more careful jabs and
counter jabs from both competitors and both girls are doing a
good job of staying clear of the other’s power. Sasha is doing
a good job of ducking under Stephanie’s longer reach but in
doing so she is leaving an opening for Stephanie who has not
taken advantage of that opening. The round continues with both
girls scoring a few punches but with little damage being done.
As the round draws to a close, Sasha scores with a series of
punches that has Stephanie backing into the ropes just as the
bell sounds to end the round. Another good round for Sasha who
wins the round 10-9 and now has a 39-37 lead on the scorecard.
Brendan: The pace of this fight is picking up. Sasha seems to
be scoring with her quickness and Stephanie is letting her get
away with that.
Joe: You are right about that, Stephanie doesn’t look hurt but
she is not taking advantage of her longer reach. If she ever
unloads on one like she did in the first round, this fight will
end quickly. Something though seems to be up as Jodie is in a
heated discussion with Drew.
Round 5: Jodie has returned to her corner by the time the bell
sounds to begin round 5 but Drew is not happy with Jodie. The
action begins with both girls on their feet and both go to work.
Sasha is making a strong move driving Stephanie into the ropes
with some quick punches to the body. Stephanie does a good job
of covering up but Sasha is in control landing punches at will.
This round seems to fly by until with less that 15 seconds left
in the round, Stephanie throws a wild left that catches the side
of Sasha’s head and staggers the smaller fighter. Jodie is
screaming foul and Stacy is having to hold her back. The bell
sounds to end the round and Sasha barely staggers back to her
corner while Jodie leaps into the ring protesting loudly at
Drew. Jodie is very irate about something that she saw and
Stacy is working feverishly on Sasha. Drew is getting upset and
warns Jodie to go back to her corner. Jodie steps back down to
help Stacy with Sasha and Drew is eyeing the corner. Sasha wins
the round despite the last second charge by Stephanie 10-9 and
increases her lead 49-46
Brendan: What is Jodie upset about. I didn’t see anything but
she was all over Drew about something.
Joe: I didn’t see anything either but Jodie had better be
careful, Drew is not the kind of referee to take much of
anything from Jodie.
Round 6: The bell sounds and both girls look ready to go. Sasha
closes the gap and tries to hurt Stephanie with her jabs but
Stephanie covers up and latches onto Sasha with a clinch. Sasha
takes advantage by using her short quick jabs and drives
Stephanie into the ropes. Stephanie though overpowers Sasha and
slams her into the corner and unloads on Sasha with an
incredible series of powerful punches. Somehow Sasha is able to
keep her footing and fights her way out of the corner but has
suffered a serious pounding. Stephanie is still reluctant to
finish Sasha and lets Sasha out of the corner. Sasha is in
serious trouble as blood begins to trickle down the side of her
face. Sasha uses the back of her gloved hand to swipe the blood
away and moves in throwing lefts and rights wildly. Stephanie
easily blocks the attack away and again throws Sasha into the
ropes. Stephanie lands some heavy body blows to Sasha and Jodie
has leaped onto the ring apron screaming at Drew to do
something. Drew does just that stopping Stephanie and giving
Sasha a standing 8 count. Sasha looks staggered but Jodie has
gained the attention of Stephanie who is yelling at Jodie to
step off the apron. Stephanie throws a wicked hook at Jodie
knocking her off the apron and Drew stops Stephanie as Jodie
regains her footing angrily and tries to go after Stephanie but
Katharine Mcphee stops her and is talking to her as Drew is
warning everyone to calm down. This has given Sasha some needed
time to recover and she charges at Stephanie with a big time
punch to Stephanie’s ribs. Stephanie falls into the ropes and
Sasha pummels her just as the bell sounds to end the round.
Drew goes over to the judges table and motions Katharine to join
her. Jodie is stewing over what has happened and when the
meeting breaks up, Katharine returns to her corner and escorts
Jodie away from the ring and motions for Miranda Cosgrove to
help Stacy in their corner. Katharine talks with Jodie who
calms down but is still irate and sits with her teammates in the
stands. Stephanie wins the round 10-9 but Drew has taken points
from both fighters and a second point from Sasha for Jodies
actions leaving the score 9-7 and the scorecard now reads 56-55
in favor of Sasha.
Round 7: Joe and Brendan are speechless trying to figure out
what happened when the bell sounds to begin round 7. Stacy and
Miranda have done a good job of cooling Sasha off and stopping
the blood while Stephanie is on her feet anxious to get after
Sasha. Stephanie steps into Sasha who ducks under Stephanie’s
long punches and slams several jabs into Stephanie who falls
back against the ropes. Sasha gains some confidence and has
Stephanie on her heels. Stephanie clinches with Sasha and
overpowers her back into the ropes and slams a couple of punches
into Sasha’s body. Jodie meanwhile is back on her feet yelling
foul and demanding for Drew to break the clinch that Stephanie
has and is really leaning into Sasha who cannot escape. Drew is
trying to break the clinch but Stephanie is strong and is using
her weight to lean into Sasha while throwing some unexpected and
illegal elbows. Sasha is staggered but she is saved by the
bell. Stephanie finally steps away with a huge smile on her face
while Sasha nearly slumps to the mats and Stacy and Miranda help
her to the corner where they work on her. Stephanie wins the
round 10-9 and has tied the scorecard at 65 each.
Brendan: Joe that was brutal. Stephanie really exerted her
power in that round and has Sasha dazed and in serious trouble.
Joe: I agree Stephanie has Sasha in serious trouble but Sasha is
still on her feet and that says something for her heart.
Unfortunately Sasha is hurt and those elbows and forearms did a
lot of damage. Can she continue.
Brendan: Joe what is up with Drew, she is just standing there
and isn’t talking to the judges and Jodie looks like she is
ready to come out of her skin because of those illegal elbows
and forearm shots.
Joe: I didn’t see anything Brendan, I was trying to keep my eye
on Jodie, If something happened maybe Drew was in the same
situation and did not see what Stephanie was doing.
Round 8: Katharine is trying to keep Jodie and the rest of her
team under control, and security has surrounded the Wildcats
stable as the bell sounds to begin the next round. For the
first time, Stephanie is slow to get out of her corner and is
trying to protect her ribs as the two square off once again.
Sasha is back to her jab and dance away tactics trying to give
her some extra time to recover and Stephanie is not going after
Sasha. Is Stephanie hurt, why is she not going after Sasha.
Sasha is doing everything she can to stagger Stephanie who keeps
Sasha at a safe distance with long jabs. Sasha drives Stephanie
into the ropes and pummels Stephanie’s body with a couple of
jabs setting up for some body punches. Stephanie with nowhere
to run, again clinches up with Sasha and Jodie starts yelling
again at Drew to break the clinch. Drew ignores Jodie as she
tries to break the clinch and succeeds but Stephanie throws
another wild elbow that catches the side of Sasha’s head. Sasha
staggers backwards but remains on her feet as Drew gives a
warning to Stephanie but that is all. Fortunately this gives
Sasha a few extra seconds to recover but the blood is streaming
down Sasha’s cheek once again. Drew motions for the bout to
continue and Sasha rushes in nearly blinded by her own blood and
sweat. Wild punches are flying but Sasha is not hurting
Stephanie who is picking off Sasha’s wild blows easily. Luckily
the bell sounds and Drew has to separate the two. Sasha wins
that round 10-9 and takes a slim one point lead on the scorecard
75-74.
Brendan: Good round for Sasha but she is not hurting Stephanie.
How is she still standing.
Joe: Her heart Brendan. Sasha is a fighter and she will not
quit. She has to make it two more rounds and hope for some
grace by the judges.
Round 9: Katharine has been talking to Drew the whole time
between rounds and Jodie has snuck up and whispered something to
Sasha before making her way back to the stands. The bell sounds
and Drew motions Katharine away and allows the round to begin.
Stephanie is still protecting her ribs and keeping Sasha at a
distance with her long jabs and looks to be loading up for a big
uppercut but Sasha is dancing around with a bit of confidence.
Sasha manages to batter Stephanie back into the ropes and
Stephanie throws a looping hook that misses and wraps around
Sasha’s neck and again pulls her into a clinch. Sasha is
growing tired of this tactic by Stephanie and tries to batter
Stephanie’s body. Stephanie pulls her closer and suddenly out
of nowhere, Sasha throws a wild elbow catching Stephanie in the
side of the head and a small cut opens on Stephanie’s cheek.
Drew angrily steps in pushing Sasha into a neutral corner
chastising her angrily and turns to the judges telling them to
take a point from Sasha. Jodie leaps to her feet in protest but
is held back by Katharine and Chloe who are trying to calm Jodie
down. Drew sees all of this and points at Jodie and demands
that she be escorted out of the arena. Security leads Jodie
away still protesting loudly. The clock has continued to roll
and before Drew can issue a standing 8 count the bell sounds and
Stephanie is smiling.
Brendan: OMG what a wild scene. Jodie is hot and she looks like
she wants to go at it with anyone who wants a go with her.
Joe: This just hurt Sasha’s chances. Drew just took a couple of
points from Sasha’s score and even though Sasha won that round,
The scorecard now reads at 83 each. Sasha has to hope for
another big round.
Round 10: The bell has sounded for the final round and both
girls come out ready to finish this and begin throwing wild
punches. The two tag one another with quick jabs and counter
with wild hooks that miss the target but make for a wild scene
as both want to win this battle. Sasha and Stephanie are really
going at it but with very minimum effect as they are blinded by
their own blood and sweat which streams into their vision.
Stephanie stumbles and gives Sasha a chance but Sasha does not
notice this and Stephanie again pulls Sasha into a clinch.
Sasha flails valiantly trying to escape but Stephanie drives her
into the ropes and batters Sasha’s head and body with some heavy
punches. Sasha looks ready to drop and Drew stops the action
briefly to issue an 8 count. Before Drew can finish the count
Sasha lunges at Stephanie and throws some more wild punches
which Stephanie is able to block away but Sasha is able to drive
Stephanie back into the ropes hammering Stephanie’s body with
some heavy punches. The round goes by quickly with both girls
barely able to stand but going at it wildly. The bell finally
sound but when it does, Stephanie lands a huge uppercut sending
Sasha to her backside. Drew steps in as Stephanie wants to
continue the beating and pushes Stephanie to her corner while
Miranda and Stacy go to aid Sasha.
Brendan: That was a wild ending, I think both girls want to
continue this but this fight is over. It looks like Stephanie
knocked Sasha out with that last punch but I see no sign from
Drew who is talking to the judges.
Joe: I think that this one is up to the Judges. What a brawl
this turned out to be. Drew is motioning for Bruce Buffer. I
think we are about to find out if we can get a last minute
situation under control. Stephanie and Stacy are having words
and this could get out of control.
Words are exchanged between and Stephanie and Stacy and I see
Security heading towards the ring. This is allowing Jodie to
slide out of the locker room and rejoin her team at ringside.
Security has removed Stacy from the ring and Drew is motioning
for Stephanie and Sasha to join her in the middle of the ring.
Bruce Buffer: Ladies and Gentleman we have a split decision
here. Judge 1 scoring this battle 93-92 in favor of Stephanie,
Judge 2 scores the bout 93-92 in favor of Sasha, Judge 3 has
scored this battle 93-93 a draw. Our referee Drew Barrymore
becomes the tiebreaker and scores the fight 94-92 in favor of
our winner Stephanieeee McMahonnnn.
Sasha slumps to her knees defeated and in tears. Stephanie
jumps around happily.
Joe: Stephanie can we get a word from our winner here. How did
you do it. That was an amazing fight.
Stephanie: Thanks Joe, It was a hard tough fight out there.
Sasha is a strong fighter but I was bigger and better. Let me
just say this, Stacy Keibler, If you want to fight we can fight
anywhere and anytime, just bring it on. I will give you the
same kind of beating that I gave Sasha.
Stephanie turns and walks away proudly and victorious.
Brendan: Joe I got our referee Drew with me. Drew what was going
on out there. I noticed a few times when there was some illegal
action out there. Some from both fighters. Why did you miss the
Elbows and Forearms from Stephanie while you really came down
hard on Sasha. What gives.
Drew: Brendan I don’t know what you are talking about, I only
saw Sasha throwing Elbows and Forearms and she knows that is
illegal.
Brendan: But Stephanie threw elbows first and are you telling me
you didn’t see those.
Drew: Brendan I still don’t know what you saw, what I saw was a
lot of interference by Jodie Sweetin and she is lucky that I
decided to hold back. Otherwise she would be on her back and or
carried from the ring. Lets leave it at that.
Brendan rejoins Joe as Drew walks away satisfied that she called
a good bout.
