Fight #02 Brenda Song vs Ashley Tisdale

Joe Rogan: Wow that was a great fight between Sammi Hanratty
and Kelli Berglund. My partner for this fight again is Brendan
Schaub.
Brendan: Yes that was a really good fight. I didn’t know that
those two could go at it for 10 rounds. Kelli and Sammi beat
the devil out of one another
Joe: Well for the next match it looks like our Referee tonight,
Heather Locklear, may have her hands full as a Lost Wildcat and
a Strikeforce fighter are going to go at it as Brenda Song has
challenged her former Disney rival Ashley Tisdale to a fight.
Brendan: Yeah I don’t know much about these two girls but I
understand that the two had a pretty nasty feud going back in
their Disney days.
Joe: That’s the fuel for this fight. So it should be a good
fight.
Brendan: Cant wait to see what these two can do.
Brenda Song is the first to enter the arena to the cheers of her
teammates and fans and is escorted to the ring by Alyson and
Amanda Michalka. The officials check her out and motion her to
move into the ring. Brenda looks very determined as she heads
straight for her corner and is addressed by her teammates as
they await for her opponent.
Ashley Tisdale enters the ring dancing her way to the ring
giving a huge smile towards Brenda. Ashley is accompanied to
the ring by her teammates Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera.
The officials check her out and motion her to the ring. Ashley
enters the ring and makes an exciting round inside the ring
making sure to taunt Brenda in the process. Brenda gives her a
glare as Ashley moves to her corner as Heather Locklear enters
the ring and motions the two fighters to join her in the center
of the ring.
Heather: Okay ladies you know the rules. Obey my commands at
all times and we will all get along. You know that we have 10, 3
minute rounds. Knockdowns get a standing 8 count. If you cant
make the 8 count then I will count out and a winner will be
declared. Low blows will constitute a point deduction. If at
the end of 10 rounds a winner has not been declared, the judges
will decide the outcome so keep it legal.
At the sound of the bell come out boxing.
The two bump gloves with Ashley being more aggressive and
shoving Brenda. Heather glares at Ashley and warns both girls
and gets them sent to their corners.
Round 1: The bell sounds and Heather motions for the fight to
begin. The two engage in the center of the ring and circle one
another. The two exchange challenging jabs and both girls move
easily to avoid contact and counter with more jabs. Brenda
seems to move a bit quicker than Ashley but this does not deter
Ashley from moving forward. Brenda uses this to her advantage
as she catches Ashley moving forward with a straight punch which
catches Ashley in the chest and briefly staggers her. Brenda
can not turn this to her advantage as Ashley backs into the
ropes and catches Brenda with a right cross to the jaw. Brenda
is hurt and drops to her knees. Heather moves in and issues a
standing 8 count. Brenda seems okay and Heather motions the bout
to continue. Ashley moves in confident but Brenda counters with
short jabs and dances away. Ashley wants to end this quickly as
she is leading up to a big knockout punch but Brenda sensing
this is able to dance away. Ashley though keeps the pressure on
and keeps Brenda moving for the remainder of the round. As the
bell sounds Ashley is showing some frustration but is leading on
the scorecard 10-9
Round 2: As the bell sounds for the second round, Ashley moves
in quickly and attacks Brenda with a quick barrage of punches
but Brenda wards her off and manages to dance away after
delivering a powerful kidney punch that seems to slow Ashley
down. Brenda slams several more punches into Ashley’s body but
Ashley seems unaffected as she falls back into the ropes and
bounces off with a big hammer punch staggering Brenda who falls
back against the opposite ropes and tries to cover up. Ashley
does not push her advantage and Brenda seems to recover and
throws a couple of jabs to ward Ashley backwards. Ashley
counters with her own jabs which connect and keeps Brenda from
fully recovering. Brenda looks to be in trouble but uses the
ropes as her ally to keep her footing. As the round continues,
Brenda uses her quick jabs and her quick feet to keep Ashley at
a distance but Ashley seems confident and does not keep
pressuring Brenda. As the round ends, Brenda makes a move to
gain some momentum with a flurry of punches that have very
little effect on Ashley except to back her into the ropes.
Heather has to step in as the bell sounds to end the round as
Ashley pulls Brenda into a clinch and refuses to let go.
Heather gets the two separated and sends them to their corners.
Joe: That was an interesting round. Brenda looks to be in
trouble and Ashley could finish this quickly.
Brendan: That’s true, I was expecting Brenda to be on fire and
use her quick feet and punches to have Ashley staggered but
after that first round knockdown, Brenda just doesn’t seem to be
herself.
Joe: I agree. Hopefully she will get it together and make this
a better fight.
Round 3: Ashley has the scorecard lead 20-18 as the bell sounds
for round 3 and the two are on their feet. Brenda comes out
looking a bit fresher than the first two rounds and goes to work
throwing jabs and backing Ashley into the ropes. Ashley
counters with stiff jabs of her own but Brenda is moving better
than in the previous rounds and is able to dance around before
getting hurt. Ashley though continues to be confident as she
keeps moving forward without hesitation or fear that Brenda can
hurt her. Brenda and Ashley continue to work in jabs and
counter jabs and Ashley is working in trying to use her reach
advantage to force Brenda into the ropes. Then Ashley winds up
to throw a big punch that Brenda ducks under and hammers
Ashley’s midsection with a series of punches that force Ashley
into the ropes and the two end up in a clinch. This works to
Brenda’s advantage as she works short punches to Ashley’s body
while Ashley misses with a couple of big crosses. The referee
calls for the break and as they break Ashley throws another
roundhouse punch that catches the side of Brenda’s head and
Ashley presses forward forcing Brenda into the ropes. Luckily
before any major damage can be done, the bell sounds to end the
round and Heather separates the two. A good round for Brenda
who wins the round 10-9 but still Ashley leads the scorecard
29-28
Alyson Michalka: Come on Brenda you can do better than that.
Keep your guard up. When you have Ash hurt you keep the
pressure on and pummel her.
Amanda Michalka: You got her Brenda. I think that you hurt her
there in that round and you need to keep her backing up.
Brendan: Finally a good round by Brenda but she really has not
hurt Ashley.
Joe: Brenda did get in some good punches and had Ashley on her
heels. Will see if that round has helped Brenda in any way.
Round 4: The bell sounds for round 4 and Ashley is up ready to
go while Brenda is still being talked to by her corner. Ashley
calls Brenda out and the Michalka sisters tell her to back off.
Heather warns Brenda’s corner and finally the round begins with
Brenda going into attack mode with a flurry of punches that has
Ashley backing up into the ropes where she clinches Brenda.
Heather demands a break and forces the two apart which gives
Ashley a chance to catch her breath from Brenda’s attack but
Brenda moves back in aggressively throwing a lot of punches
while only landing a couple of them. Ashley wards Brenda’s
attack off with another clinch but this time uses that to
overpower Brenda into a corner where she unloads a brutal series
of overhand punches to Brenda’s body. Brenda looks staggered
but somehow ducks under the attack and pounds Ashley with a huge
punch to Ashley’s midsection causing Ashley to drop to her
knees. Heather pushes Brenda to a neutral corner and issues a
standing 8 count to Ashley. Seeing that Ashley is not seriously
hurt, she motions for the fight to continue and Brenda moves
into finish Ashley off. Ashley counters and staggers Brenda
with a right cross to the side of her head. Brenda falls into
the ropes and Ashley follows her in with a few jabs. Brenda
ties up with Ashley in a clinch and Heather orders a break but
the two are reluctant to break. The bell sounds and Heather
tries to get between the two. Ashley steps back but as Heather
steps aside Ashley charges back in with a flurry of punches,
driving Brenda into her corner where a brief melee erupts as
Alyson and Amanda attack Ashley. Britney and Christina leap
into the ring and go after Alyson and Amanda. Heather tries to
gain control and manages to push Britney and Christina back
leaving Alyson and Amanda holding Ashley while Brenda takes
advantage of this by pummeling Ashley. Security steps in and
pulls Alyson and Amanda from the ring while Heather manages to
separate Brenda from Ashley. This round goes to Brenda due to
the early knockdown and wins the round 10-9 and tying the
scorecard, at 38.
Brendan: Wow that was absolutely intense. I think that
Security is escorting the Michalka girls from ringside. Joe I
think that Heather is trying to get your attention.
Heather: Joe, the Michalka girls are banned from ringside The
Wildcats need someone out here to tend to Brenda.
Joe: I think that I see Chloe Moretz heading this way and who
is that with her. Wait I think that is their new fighter Shay
Mitchell.
Brendan: Oh wow this could get ugly, I heard a rumor that Kylie
Jenner from the Barbies team was looking at Shay as a possible
replacement for one of their fighters.
Joe: Heather will keep this under control, Wait I see
Katharine McPhee the Wildcats leader coming this way.
Katharine: Joe thanks I just wanted to join you to watch how
Shay handles herself and to watch Chloe’s back in case she gets
too involved.
Round 5: Before the bell sounds Heather motions for the
fighters to join her in the center of the ring
Heather: Okay girls lets get back to boxing. I will not allow
this fight to get out of control. Control yourself or you will
lose points am I understood.
Both Brenda and Ashley nod acknowledgment and Heather motions
for the bell. Brenda comes out with renewed confidence and uses
her jab to start the round. Ashley counters in kind and the two
settle into some good back and forth boxing. Brenda lands a
good combination and tries to throw a third roundhouse left that
misses and Ashley counters with a vicious right cross to
Brenda’s jaw and down Brenda goes. Brenda is hurt. Heather
begins her 8 count. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, Brenda is trying to get
to her feet. 7, Brenda makes her feet but falls against the
ropes and falls back to her knees. 8, 9, 10.
Brendan: OMG is this over.
Heather raises Ashley’s arm in victory this fight is over with a
Knockout punch at 0:50 of the 5[sup]th[/sup] round. Your winner
Ashley Tisdale.
Joe: It looks like this is over, Katharine can we get a quick
word.
Katharine: I don’t know what happened, Brenda was in good
shape. I guess she just go caught with a surprise from Ashley.
Inside the ring Chloe and Shay have entered the ring to help
Brenda, while Britney and Christina are celebrating the victory
with Ashley.
Chloe steps up and a confrontation with Britney and Christina
looks ominous. Security quickly steps in and Katharine steps in
and gets her fighters out of the ring before anything can
happen.
Joe: Ashley can we get a word from you.
Ashley: Hey Joe how was that for a fight
Brendan: I thought you had this fight from the start.
Ashley: Well thanks Brendan, I have trained hard and was ready
for anything that Brenda had.
Joe: You looked unbeatable Ashley. Whats is your next move.
Ashley: Well I hope to check on Brenda, Even though we are
enemies, I respect her and her team. Nothing bad was intended by
me. I was just out to win this bout and I did.
Christina Aguilera: Yeah Joe, it was a good fair fight. But if
those fighters from the Wildcats team want to make something of
this like the Michalka’s or Chloe. Well Britney and I will set
them straight.
Brendan: Watch what you say Christina, Chloe has a temper and
might be one of the most dangerous fighters in the UCC.
Britney: She doesn’t worry us, but she had better watch
herself.
With that the three Strikeforce girls step away and head out of
the ring still in celebration mode.
