Round 1, fight 16: Alexis Ren vs Chyler Leigh

Round 1, fight 16: Alexis Ren vs Chyler Leigh
A "Alexis! Alexis! Alexis! Alexis!" chant has gone up around the
arena. The crowd at the Meteora (Kalabaka, Greece) love this
fighter and Alexis's never one to ignore her fans. She smiles,
waves and then bows to the chanting crowd! They go totally
ballistic!
Alexis looks a bit uneasy. Hopefully this doesn't affect her
performance. She's nervously toying with her hair.
Chyler Leigh raises her fists in her corner and the crowd
respond. At 5' 7" in height and weighing 130 lbs, she certainly
seems confident.
This is the first time these two have meet inside the cage.
Chyler's going to have a hard fight according to my dentist.
The referee of the bout is Ariana Grande.

The fight gets underway, both girls are looking for a win here
tonight. Let's all hope that they put on a top show.

some good pounding given half the chance. Chyler has got to find

opponent and secures a single collar tie.
Chyler Leigh doesn't want to clinch as she ducks under Alexis
Ren's embrace and tries to move away.

Chyler flexes her body and readies herself. She still looks
fresh out there, still plenty of action to be seen from Chyler

grip and is trying to take Alexis down...
Crash! Alexis loses balance and goes to the ground. She could be
in trouble.

Chyler slides her knee across and gets to mount.

Chyler's not caught off guard and moves to side mount. She keeps
her superior position, what a brilliant tactician Chyler is.

Chyler slides her knee across and gets to mount.
Chyler Leigh is in full mount over Alexis Ren.
Chyler Leigh is moving on the ground...it looks like she may
have something in evil mind here...
Ouch! That was a headbutt! Did she do that intentionally? What
an evil move by Chyler!
Ariana Grande didn't see the foul!

Chyler Leigh is in full mount over Alexis Ren.
Alexis Ren tries to roll on the ground.
Chyler knows how to keep her advantage on the ground.
Alexis gets sloppy and Chyler Leigh tries to take advantage...
Chyler Leigh tries to keep her position. That look in her eye, I
think she wants to begin a good pounding session...
Chyler controls the situation despite Alexis's efforts of
escaping from the full mount.
Chyler Leigh is in full mount over Alexis Ren.
Alexis Ren tries to roll on the ground.

"Get up, girls. The crowd want some action." Ariana Grande is
calling for both fighters to regain their feet and continue, the
crowd are happy with that decision.
Both fighters have climbed to their feet and they continue the
fight standing. The fans at the Meteora (Kalabaka, Greece) are
cheering for the girls.
The clock says 2:10 in the 1 round
Chyler Leigh looks for angles as she throws a few jabs that are
countered by Alexis Ren's punches.
Chyler measures the resilience of Alexis's chin with an uppercut
while Alexis lands some great crosses.
A shake of the head from Chyler. She flicks her head back and
takes a few gulps of fresh air. She looks exhausted to me.
Alexis Ren and Chyler Leigh engage in a wild exchange of
punches!
Chyler is getting the best of the exchange. She's landing a few
blows.
Alexis Ren fakes a punch and launches herself over Chyler Leigh.
Nice move by Alexis who clinches and pushes Chyler against the
cage.
Chyler Leigh pushes away Alexis Ren, she's trying to keep the
fight at striking range.
Alexis Ren doesn't want to break the clinch. She's still
grappling with Chyler Leigh.
The fighters are clinching. This is as close together as their
bodies can get.
Alexis Ren pushes Chyler Leigh against the cage and begins a
relentless combination of punches. The crowd are on their feet!
This is insane!
Chyler manges to just block Alexis Ren's punches...
Chyler tries to get some advantage after her opponent misses a
move...

We're trading sweat here, folks. These two ladies are locked
together in a clinch.
Alexis Ren pushes Chyler Leigh against the fence and launches a
few sick punches.
Chyler blocks and pushes away her opponent creating space
between them.
Chyler is trying to counter now...
High kick from Chyler Leigh! Her legs look amazing!
It connects! Alexis seems to be done!
Chyler Leigh fakes a move and launches a kick right towards
Alexis Ren's chest!
Slam! That almost popped Alexis's breasts right out of her top!
Her breasts will be bruised and sore tomorrow.
Alexis Ren is holding her side and she appears to be in terrible
pain. She's holding her hand up to stop this, I think it looks
like she's broken a rib. This will be a huge blow to Alexis's
career and her fans.
The winner is Chyler Leigh by Injury (Broken Ribs) at 3:26 Round

What a dull and boring fighter Alexis Ren was today. She needs
to improve her performance if she wants the fans cheer for her.
Even her revealing fight attire was not enough to win them over.

Chyler Leigh has had some absorbing moments tonight. She
contributed to the enjoyment of most of the people here at the
Meteora (Kalabaka, Greece). I'm hoping she can up the tempo in
her next fight, then she should start to draw in even more fans.

That was a nice effort, but I'd say we should expect more from
Chyler and Alexis. Considering how much they both say they want
to win, I think we all expected a bit more.
