Checking for Progress (Open, After School hours, Hallway)

As the halls were still and quiet no pitter patters of students
,no aroma of coffee a petite woman brushed through them. She
walked through these halls 100 of times but every time she
checked to view. Something was so tranquil about the setting sun
and walking others walk and socialize. A smile grew on her face
she loved seeing the students enjoy the school but she knew they
didn't enjoy it as much as her. She wore a knee length sweater
dress that was a gray color like her eyes that was covered with
glasses and messy strands of hair that hugged her face. Also a
pair of nylons that were light brown and brown combat boots. She
carried a small stack of papers she was returning to the faculty
room.

On her way to the faculty room herself, Sera spotted a familiar
face. Seeing that she was carrying quite a few papers, she
hurried over to her. "Hey Audrey" she greeted. "Can I help you
with those?" She smiled brightly at her, twisting a hand through
one of her pigtails. "Working late before we've even really
started?"

She smiled at the sight of her co-worker and friend. "Oh Sera
hello feel free!". She then handed off the papers and continued
to walk. "Well the kids are flooding in quick this year. Plus of
course the principal is drowned in work. I just wanna get it out
the way now." she lightly sighed. She thought to herself that
maybe she needed to go out and live her fading away twenties
then again the kids need her more.

Sera smiled and took some papers. "Well, I can help you if you'd
like" she offered with a smile. She opened the faculty room door
and set the papers down on a nearby table. She put her hands in
the pockets of her jeans. "Seems like an interesting bunch of
kids so far? I haven't gotten a chance to meet many yet, but
that'll change soon I'm sure."

"And I would stand by a statement that you are both over
achievers with notions too pure for your own good." The honeyed
voice curled out of the teachers lounge. As they entered Elena
poked her head into the room from a back room and leaned against
the doorframe. Long ebony locks were barely pulled back from her
face and she was wearing a crimson shrt that hugged her curves a
pair of tight black pants to complement.

She walked through the doors setting down the papers. "Well
atleast they seem nice maybe we should do some social work. Go
around talking to some of them." she said fixing her hair. She
thought maybe the creepy teacher trying to socialize was a bit
well...creepy. She directed her attention to Elena and lightly
blushed. "Well Elena what is your input?"

Elena gave the other woman a curious smile as she tossed her
raven colored locks. [Color=crimson]"Go and push socializing
with them? You realize they are college students and likely
seeking the freedom that comes with that. They probably don't
want adults looking over their shoulders. I prefer to let them
seek me out when they desire it,and otherwise leave them to
their own devices....within reason of course. They make so many
more intriguing mistakes and leaps of growth that way."

She sighed. "Yes you're right... I just want them to be happy
here and feel welcome. It hurts me to see students depressed and
sad. After all this place is my oasis and I want the same for
them." Audrey takes off her glasses and began cleaning them.
Whenever she did this it was a tell tell that something was on
her mind. She never knew how Elena viewed her and that made her
uneasy because she was use to knowing it all... except people.

Sera shrugged at Elena's comments and began putting on a pot of
water for tea. "You guys want any" she asked pulling some tea
leaves and packets out from one of the cabinets. "No one's
staring over their shoulders. It's just important to get to know
the young minds we'll be a part of shaping." She giggled at the
cliched thing she just said. "Nothing wrong with getting to know
them. They're bound to make mistakes, regardless of whether
we're around or not. Depending on their abilities, it might be
best if we're not too far out of the loop." She shrugged again.

Elena waved her hand and the two before setting herself down in
a corner seat. [Color=crimson]"I do believe that the both of you
worry too much. Although I am admittedly curious to see some of
the new minds and abilities that will walk the halls.[/color]".
The demoness smirked slightly, leaning back in her seat.
