A Home for a Fox
By: Bridgette Date: August 15, 2017, 6:25 pm

Bridgette spend a decent amount of time looking from house to
house. She was leaning towards one of the smaller ones, as she
had never had a space for herself before. It was a strange
option she thought. Having them pick a house to stay in. This
school was certainly unique.

from the bushes of one of the houses a giant bug jumps out and
runs toward her. it seemed to be from the beetle family but was
highly oversized, it's exoskeleton was a sharp brown and
reflected the sun easily. and it had the horn of a rhinoceros
beetle

Startled at first, Bridgette's ears shot straight up and she
jumped back a bit. Realizing it was only a beetle, she laughed
at herself and shook her head. "Hullo there" she said to the
beetle, admiring its horn fondly. "And where did you come from?"

the beetle stops to look at her but runs off as another person
appears from the bushes. It was Solomon. He wore his usual
gardening outfit but on his waist was a belt holding various
gardening items. in his hands was his bow Bellerose. spotting
the beetle he gives chase "excuuuuse me" he says to bridgette as
he runs toward her.

Bridgette's eyes widened as the boy came out the bushes not long
after the beetle. Seeing the beetle flee, she turns to the boy
and notices a bow in his hands as he ran towards her. "W-what
are you doing" she asked, standing in between him and the
beetle.

Solomon stops at her heed but watches the beetle as it scurries
away. "the answer is simple" he notches a weird arrow that
looked like a sharp branch and shoots it into the sky. the arrow
lands in front of the beetle stopping it in its tracks. from the
arrow, vines sprout and entangle the beetle to keep it from
running. "i'm catching an escapee" he says and puts the bow onto
his back.

"Escapee" she asked with a frown on her face. "Wh-what do you
keep it for?" She walked over to the beetle and crouched down to
take a better look at it. Bridgette made sure to keep her hands
visible as to not agitate the boy, she just wanted to make sure
it was ok.
