Healing Herbs (Open, Early Afternoon)

The beginning of a new school year was always hectic. Always the
procrastinator, Sera had waited until the last minute to stock
up on some healing herbal remedies. The local tea shoppe was
always where she got them. They had the most variety with the
best quality. She hummed quietly to herself as she strolled the
back storage room for the best tea's she could find. Luckily she
was good friends with the owner or this would be frowned upon.
"You guys have a good selection this week" she chirped happily
to the girl tending shoppe. "No one will be getting sick on my
watch!"
Letting out a giggle, Sera wondered about the students she'd
meet. Every year was different, but she remembered them all.
There were always a couple that ended out in her nurse's office.
That's why she recently started teaching self defense. Everyone
deserved a chance to protect themselves. She had seen too much
bloodshed in her lifetimes.

The bell on the door rings as a new customer enters. Solomon
closes his eyes as the tranquil smell of the tea shop filled his
nostrils. " so wonderful in here"

Sera looked up as she heard the bell ring. A young man had
entered and she gave him a quick once over. He looked to be
about the age of a student. She wondered if she'd be seeing a
lot of him. "I'll also take a chamomile please" she said to the
clerk, deciding to stay for a cup of tea. She then turned her
attention back to the young man. "Anything for you?"

Solomon looks at her and shakes his head "nothing as of now.
thank you though" he says and bows his head. "I usually grow my
own stuff. I just wanted to see if this shop had anything I
don't"

Sera nodded and offered a smile. "This shop does have one of the
best selections I've encountered. I'm not much of a gardener
myself. My healing touch doesn't apply to plants unfortunately."
Letting out a soft giggle, she paid for her herbs and tea and
proceeded to take a seat. "My name is Sera by the way. I'm the
Nurse at Umbral Dawn. I get almost all my natural healing
supplies here."

"I love gardening. A few of my plants say i have a healing
touch. Unfortunately it doesnt work on living beings" he jokes.

Sera smiled at his joke and nodded. "Well, welcome Solomon" she
said warmly. "I hope you'll enjoy your time here. How has it
been so far?" She took a few sips of her tea and let out a sigh
of content.

he bows his head again in thanks of the welcome. "Ive met a few
intriguing people who are sure to make this a good year" he says
with a wry smile.

"I almost can't even remember my school days" Sera said sadly.
"It feels so long ago. They were... different times though." She
took more sips of her tea and looked off into the distance in
thought. "It's good to make friends and allies as soon as you
can."
