Gathering Needed Material [open, afternoon]

Lyra wandered the streets of town, her long golden locks
cascading down over her shoulders as she did. Now that she was
here she was sure there were a few things she was going to need.
Toping that list was a few new books.
As she wandered the streets she stumbled across a bookstore.
The soft cent of paper tickled her nose and she smiled. Without
a second thought she wandered in, happily losing herself in the
shelves.

If noticed, Amatus could be seen in the bookstore, reading a
book about the human mind. He was tucked into the back, at a
small table near the small coffee shop, his nose wrinkling
softly as he let a sigh escape his lips. "How can I be this good
at reading people and deduction, but be this bad understanding
how brains work." The young man muttered to himself, taking a
sip of a latte in his right hand. His eyes narrowed at the book,
and he took another sip of coffee, turning the page as he did
so.

"Thinking about signing up for my Human Studies course,
Mr...Edmont?" Came a clear voice leaning over his shoulder. It
was Professor Eisbern with a smirk on his face. The professor
carried an old thick book in one hand. He started pinching
Amatus' cheek with his free hand. "Or perhaps....you're trying
to understand the machinations of a woman's mind." He gestured
towards Lyra's figure.

It would take a few minutes in the shelves before Lyra would
notice anything other than the books she searched for. As those
minutes passed she found herself with a healthy stack of books
in her arms. It was then she looked up to notice Amatus and
someone she didn't immediately recognize.

"I'm a Psych major. I'd be a bit daft if I didn't sign up for
your class, Sir." Amatus' accented voice came through softly,
and he thought about flickering to the seat a few steps away,
until he realized he was in public. "Please remove your hand
from my cheek, Professor..And if you're implying that I'm trying
to somehow woo Lyra, you'd be wrong. I've only just met her."
Amatus closed his book, looking Eisbern in the eye, before
taking a quick sip of his coffee, his face deadpan. "Besides,
even if I were, don't you think I'd be a bit more subtle?" He
breaks eye contact with the Professor for a quick moment to
flash a smile at Lyra, giving a small wave as well.

Eisbern waved gleefully at the young lady. "Good day to you, Ms.
Arundel! Would you join us for a cup of tea?"
He then spoke to Amatus. "Sometimes subtlety will have you go
unnoticed, young man."

Lyra caught the smile from Amatus and gave a small wave back.
As the other addressed her she gave a curious look before making
her way over to them. [Color=teal]"Good day to you."[/color].
She said to the other man.

Amatus gave a deep sigh, his eyes closing momentarily, before
slowly opening back up, that deadpan look still upon his face.
"And perhaps, for the moment, going unnoticed is the best plan
of action. Trying to make a move on someone after knowing them
for less than twenty four hours is rather daft, don't you think,
Professor?" Amatus asked softly, now tilting his head towards
Lyra. "It would seem you've stumbled across the best bookstore
in the area...And somehow, I'm not surprised."

Lyra smiled lightly at Amatus' comment, and gave a small self
teasing laugh. "What can I say. First place I look for in a
new place is a book store. This one in particular is quite
nice, and I like the coffee shop back here. She gave the two a
curious look as to why they were back here chatting, but let the
question slip from her mind. She certainly bore no one ill will
for being in a bookstore of all places. [color=teal]"So what
kind of tea are we drinking?"

"A harmonious blend of green tea with Lemongrass and spearmint."
The professor remarked Pouring a cup for the three of them.
"They call it Zen." EIsbern poured each of them a cup and sat
back down into his seat. " I am professor Artorious Eisbern by
the way.. Pleasure to make your acquaintance.:
