I. Summary and Details (Signatures, Avatars, and Mottos)
Mel says that she fails because she did not make an agenda for
the alliance meeting.
Mort states that Hopeful Guy made an agenda.
Hopeful Guy presents two signatures he created:

Mel compliments Hopeful Guy on his signatures and asks if he
takes color and theme requests. Veranex and Sainsbo agree that
they look cool.
Hopeful Guy asks if it's about purple. Mel agrees.
Mort comments that the background seems random. Mel says that
she doesn't mind, and Hopeful Guy says that he will work on it,
but that he was going for an abstract theme.
Sainsbo asks if he can link the three signatures he made. He
links them:

Sainsbo thinks he linked them before. Hopeful Guy says he has
seen them around.
Melissa asks Sainsbo the same question she asked Hopeful Guy. He
replies that he'll try.
Mort says the signatures look nice.
Hopeful Guy says that showing off our signatures and our
alliance is a good idea, and that a contest could be held to see
who can make the best signatures.
Mel and Mort support it so long as there is no bias.
Veranex says that sign-up sheets could be drafted for each Clan
Forum to see if anyone is interested. She then asks where the
contest will be held.
Hopeful Guy proposes the conditions:
"Make a piece of art, max 500x100 and 50kB, that includes the
alliance logo and
represents the alliance. (link logo) Be as creative as
possible!"
Mort says that the conditions could work, and they can be
changed later if they don't.
Mel would like to include that it can be made in any format,
whether it be made in Paint, Flash, or hand-drawn.
Hopeful Guy proposes moving on to mottos and names.
It is quickly agreed that "The Ultimate Unity" has already
caught on as the name for the alliance, and so that is settled.
Hopeful Guy brings up one of the proposed mottos: "Rise. Unify.
Believe."
Faerdin and Mel agree that the motto is lovely, and that it
clearly states the intentions of each clan and the alliance as a
whole.
Hopeful Guy asks if lower ranked members of each clan should
also be asked for motto ideas. Mel agrees.
II. Alliance-Wide Competitions
Hopeful Guy proposes the entire alliance attempting to defeat
100,000 waves rather than each clan competing against one
another.
Veranex feels that 100,000 is a pretty big number. Hopeful Guy
explains that it is only an example.
Faerdin agrees that it would be more productive for all clans to
work toward a common goal rather than compete. He then brings up
the BoH war goal of defeating 1% by themselves, and asks if the
alliance could attempt to defeat 3% on its own.
Veranex proposes adding waves completed across the allied clans
together and placing them on each clan page.
Gingkage points out that friendly competition might be a better
motivator.
Mort reflects that the goal for TCG's Light Members, the goal
had been 10% in a war, while the goal was 1% for Darkness
Members. Faerdin replies that 1% is no mean feat.
Hopeful Guy worries about the wave counter cap of 1,001. It is
then agreed that it shouldn't be a problem since there are other
ways to keep track of waves defeated.
Hopeful Guy then proposes 2% defeated in a war to start with,
and then the alliance could move on to 3%. Faerdin, Gingkage,
and Mort agree.
Veranex is worried about 2% since APR has not been active in
wars as of late.
Hopeful Guy points out that all clans have shrunk noticeably.
Faerdin feels that The Ultimate Unity needs a wake-up call in
regards to wars.
Faerdin and Veranex proceed to discuss the problem of members
who do not wish to fight or are incapable of fighting. It is
agreed that the only thing that can be done is urging clan
members to do their best.
Mort asks about what could be done if no one is around to give
information on the competition.
Faerdin and Vera propose usage of the Forums. Faerdin adds that
a message could be placed on chat banners, and Vera also adds
that individual members can be privately contacted if they are
unaware.
Faerdin proposes a cross-clan writing contest. Hopeful Guy likes
the idea.
Veranex feels the idea had been proposed at a previous meeting.
Faerdin thinks that one or two people from each clan could
participate as judges.
Veranex proposes that participants collaborate on a story with
two other members of the Ultimate Unity to get to know one
another.
Hopeful Guy and Faerdin love the idea.
Mort agrees, saying that it could help the problems with lack of
communication between clans.
Veranex says that participants could be in teams of two or three
people.
Faerdin asks if the theme would be broad or specific and
clan-related. Veranex replies that being clan-related could
work, or it could have some other specific theme and be related
to fantasy.
Hopeful Guy likes the idea of the topic being broad.
Veranex says that the topic could be anything depending on who
issued the contest.
III. Inter-Clan Communication
Faerdin says that the clans already have a good thing going with
the TCG's Alliance Communications Forum and each clan's
respective chat, but wonders if an Alliance Forum/Chat should be
made, as was proposed earlier.
Hopeful Guy quotes Womba:
"But I WOULD like to see more Communication between ourselves.
We are indeed privelaged to see and speak with eachother
already, but most of us are simply choosing not to be more
active with others."
Hopeful Guy says there may be issues with "clan loyalty," but
that proper communication and disloyalty to one's clan are two
completely different things.
He then continues to say that the main point should be that all
members, not just leaders, should be participating.
Faerdin says that the alliance should be thought of as one big
superclan. He then calls himself an Ultimate Unity Upholder, and
people proceed to try and say that three times fast.
Mort agrees, saying he wants to keep everything bound.
Veranex proposes encouraging people to visit other chats more
strongly, but making sure that they still participate in their
own chats. Mort agrees.
Hopeful Guy asks how subdivisions would work if the Ultimate
Unity really became a superclan.
Veranex would prefer to discuss that with Shadows and Sains
present.
Faerdin proposes doing what The Dark Knights, ChaosWeaver
Nation, and The Dark Vanguard did with The Brotherhood. He does
not, however, feel comfortable with every clan removing their
clan pages in favor of a single one for the Ultimate Unity.
Mort agrees and adds that it would also take a long time for the
Ultimate Unity's page to be made.
Faerdin says that it should just be their way of thinking for
the time being.
Chis agrees that becoming a true superclan is too extreme, and
also agrees that members should be encouraged to spend time in
other chats and Forums.
IV. Ultimate Unity Forum
Mort supports the idea, but is unsure of what could be used for
a chat. Xat is terrible and Chatzy requires money to work
properly. Chis and Veranex agree, though Veranex likes Xat.
Veranex continues that a Forum could be helpful.
Chis says that it had already been tried before, but that it was
unsuccessful.
Veranex asks if Chis is thinking of VELOX. Chis thinks that he
was.
Veranex then says she is happy with simply visiting each other's
chats, and that the Forum could be helpful, be she isn't sure
about it.
Faerdin concludes by saying that, either way, visiting each
other's chats needs to be promoted.
V. Open Floor
Cysero's Defenders
Mel would like to know the opinions of APR and TCG on Cysero's
Defenders.
Hopeful Guy states that it is like "VELOX Part 2."
Faerdin clarifies that Cysero's Defenders is inactive on the AE
Forums, but is active in general. He then asks if Cysero's
Defenders had been in VELOX.
Hopeful Guy and Mort state that they were.
Gingkage says that all she needs to say about them is that they
are allies with Alethia's clan, Alatreon.
Chisagen states that he had thought of Cysero's Defenders as a
dead clan until recently.
Faerdin says that they became more active when DF Enjin was
created.
Mort points out that Cysero's Defenders are rarely seen now that
DF Enjin is dead.
Faerdin states that he visited their chat and that they seemed
like nice people. His main problem with Cysero's Defenders is
Alethia.
Mort agrees that Alethia is a problem.
Veranex feels that the decision is up to BoH, since they are the
ones who have been approached for an alliance.
Gingkage says that BoH wanted input from APR and TCG. Chis
agrees.
Chisagen asks how much of a voice Alethia has.
"Faerdin: Chis, Cysero's Defenders had a vote on whether or not
Dragon Heros would be one of their allies.
Faerdin: They cited D00MS' rudeness to Alethia as enough of a
reason to say no, and Alethia herself offered her opinion on
D00MS. They ended the vote with the majority being against an
alliance."
Hopeful Guy states that he vehemently dislikes Alethia.
Chisagen feels that, if they are as kind and reasonable as
Faerdin believes, then there shouldn't be a problem in reasoning
with Cysero's Defenders.
Mort agrees, saying they can offer their opinions on Alethia and
that they have plenty of evidence to back it up.
Faerdin is uncomfortable at the thought of making them give up
their alliance with Alatreon, but feels that their thoughts on
Alethia should be made clear so as not to harbor secrets.
Mort finds the thread in which Alethia displays pushy behavior
toward TCG:
HTML http://thecelestialguardians.createaforum.com/alliance-communication/the-possible-shift-to-enjin/
Faerdin asks if everyone agrees that Alethia should not keep BoH
from forming an alliance with Cysero's Defenders. Mort agrees,
but Hopeful Guy does not.
Hopeful Guy feels that Alethia should not even be an issue since
she seems to be inactive and DF Enjin is no longer relevant.
Chis says that if Cysero's Defenders is a reasonable clan, it
should be worth talking to them.
Veranex and Sainsbo feel that they cannot offer an opinion one
way or the other. Sainsbo ultimately feels that he would not
support it if he were to make the decision himself since APR has
bad experiences with Cysero's Defenders.
Sainsbo proceeds to explain that Cysero's Defenders had poorly
treated a member of their clan who applied to join APR.
Faerdin is torn because allying with Cysero's Defenders could
strengthen the clans on the whole, but the Ultimate Unity
already has a good thing going.
Mort asks Sains about the new member's behavior, and asks if it
could have been a factor in Cysero's Defenders and their
harassment.
Sains replies that the Forum Member, whose name was Freedom
Fighter or D.Soul, was power-hungry but otherwise nice.
Chis would like to get both sides of the story.
Faerdin asks if Cysero's Defenders should be told that BoH is
not ready for an alliance at the present time since there were
people who were uncomfortable with the idea.
Hopeful Guy replies that should be fair enough.
The meeting is adjourned.
