       Ultimate Unity Scriptwriting Contest Discussion

       As per our last meeting, we have decided on various elements of
       this contest:
       Every entrant in this contest will receive a line of dialogue, a
       prop, a non-geographic location, and a sound effect. All
       entrants must include (But are not limited to) these elements
       while they create a script that can be no longer than ten pages
       in length (12 point font, Times New Roman). Entrants will be
       judged based on the following criteria:
       1) Character Interaction and Dialogue: 25 Points
       2) Plot and Story Elements: 25 Points
       3) Originality: 25 Points
       4) Spelling and Grammar: 25 Points
       5) Inclusion of Required Elements: 50 Points
       a) Line of Dialogue: 25 Points
       b) Prop: 20 Points
       c) Sound Effect: 15 Points
       d) Location: 10 Points
       The required elements will be decided upon based on suggestions
       given during sign-ups. The sign-up period will allow for people
       both to apply and enter the contest or apply to become a judge
       for the contest. Three judges from across the Ultimate Unity
       will be selected along with a Registrar, who will accept all
       entries so as to keep them anonymous for unbiased judging.
       Considering all of these details, are we prepared to begin? :)
       For reference, the contest schedule:

       Contest Thread for members to place their names for entry;
       subsequently, Registrar will update Official Contest Thread with
       approaching deadlines, any necessary notices, and the eventual
       winner.
       > Week Two:
       > End of Contest application period; commence
       election/appointing of judges.
       > Week Three:
       > Close election/appointing of judges; begin PMed script
       submissions to Registrar.
       > Weeks Four—Six:
       > Submission cut-off at the end of this period; Registrar
       compiles anonymized list and PMs to judges; begin submissions
       review and scoring.
       > Weeks Seven—Eight:
       > Judges complete entry-review, score-tallying, and any
       necessary discussion amongst themselves by the end of this
       period; final scores PMed to Registrar who sends individual
       results/notes to each participant and publicly announces winner
       in Official Contest Thread.

       I think so. Don't really see an issue. My main concern IS the
       date, as it dictates if I can join or not. But that will be
       discussed later.
