Can you tell if someone has changed your post or can they do it
without you actually knowing??

Seems like on this forum it just happens with no mention to you
or other viewers that anything has been changed.
Scary, huh?

I have to admit my mind may have been playing tricks on me but
if it has happened then im off. On other forums at least you
know it has been edited but if I am wrong then I have not
accused just asked

absolutely nothing has been 'moderated' or changed by Chat
Admin. If anything has been changed there would be an 'edited by
. . . .' comment under the post. This is 'hardwired' into the
system and can't be removed, so any changes are visible to all.
So far, nothing has had to be moderated. No reports have ever
been sent to moderator/Admin about posts/comments at all.
Several large picture files from older posts have been deleted
as the allocated upload space was nearing capacity (500Mb).
An example of moderation that has happened would be requesting
that a members 'joke' be removed due to upsetting other members,
which happened, and deleting a 'Stockshifters' membership
account - to which the members both agreed
I can assure you that I have better things to do with my time
than moderate petty stuff on a forum. I don't even move posts
into relevant sections, unless really are in the wrong place.
Why do members even think that 'secret moderation' is going on ?
