oem/obm manufacturers

ever tried finding an original manufacturer for a Chinese brand
flashlight?
well its got me interested, so far I've heard both maxtoch and
szobm bandied about
HTML http://www.szobm.net/sdp/489907/4/pl-2645629/0-2468151/SZOBM_Flashlights.html
HTML https://www.google.com/url?q=http://maxtoch.com/&sa=U&ei=95K3UebKAYml0QW4h4GgBQ&ved=0CAcQFjAA&usg=AFQjCNGL416XMQwqy5ubRjEq0RxzkYb1fw
now I personally find maxtoch's website more believable tbh, but
I'm happy to be proved wrong, szobm seems to have too higher
price for an oem, but may be approachable for discounts, I'm
waiting for an answer back from maxtoch's aliexpress store, so,
anyone any other thoughts, suggestions or opinions?

I honestly dont know who builds what and I doubt the Chinese
know who builds what. Manufacturing will be cost driven as we
have seen for example the King. The Maxtoch from what I've seen
appear to have quality lights whether they manufacture them or
not. You haven't by the way had a parcel from Aus yet?

I have had a parcel, I've just been crap at letting you know
lol, cheers for that, I'm now having other idea's about drivers
and emittrrs, I'm slightly curious as to what a copper mounted
xp - g2 and 5a does for it, which throws the retaining 3c
capabilities right out the window lol

I've found that going to sites like Aliexpress and taobao are
useful for finding out where the lights come from. Since they
primarily sell to wholesallers they list the manufacturer's on
each light's page. I think that'd be the best place to start
doing recon for OEM sources.
