XTAR Sirius brothers are here!!!!!
By: Xtar Lights Date: June 8, 2013, 3:16 am
---------------------------------------------------------
Recently, XTAR has released a series headlamp H1 and H2, which
had dual light sources.
In June, XTAR Sirius brothers WK40, WK41, WK42 are coming! The
“Sirius” stands for the brightness they provides.
The WK40, as Sirius AA2, uses two AA batteries and provides max
220Lm output.
The WK41, Sirius AA, compatible with AA and 14500 lithium
batteries, is a very light flashlight.
The WK42, Sirius CR, as the name, compatible with CR123A and
16340 batteries, is the brother of WK41.
In addition, WK41 and WK42 have the battery recognition feature,
which let WK41 and WK42 provides output based on battery type.
Different battery type provides different modes and lumens.

The Cree XM-L U2 high-output LED, combined with the design of
the WK40, result in a very bright light without excessive heat
generation. The excellent heat dissipation of the WK40 also
helps to extend LED lifespan.
The dual-switch system provides a tactical tail cap switch for
the momentary-on feature and for turning the light on and off,
and an ergonomically placed side switch for changing output
modes. A unique two-way pocket clip lets you carry the WK40 in
either orientation. The WK40 provides a low-power indicator to
remind you when your batteries are becoming depleted. Seven
different output modes are available to suit any conditions, but
the strobe, signal, and SOS modes are conveniently hidden in a
separate mode group.

The XTAR WK41 is a multi-functional EDC flashlight. Using the
high-output CREE XM-L U2 LED, the WK41 could provide high
brightness. The WK41 is not only compatible with AA batteries
and 14500 lithium batteries, but is also able to recognize which
type of battery is being used.
With the battery-type recognition feature, over-discharge
protection, and low-power indicator, the WK41 is a very safe and
convenient flashlight. Seven different output modes are
available to suit any conditions, but the strobe, signal, and
SOS modes are conveniently hidden in a separate mode group. The
compact size and unique mode arrangement make the WK41 your best
choice for an EDC flashlight.

Nice looking little lights, Xtar! I'm currently awaiting the
arrival of my BK12 for review. I'm hoping it arrives in the next
day or two. :)

No, I didn't. They must have changed their minds at the last
minute and sent me an H2 instead of the BK12 as originally
promised. The H2 is a very nice little light though and I will
begin the review as soon as I complete the reviews for the
lights that arrived a couple days prior.
The WK42 lights should be very nice based on the H2 I was sent.
:)
