       UV light for nail polish.

JohnnyMac mentioned the use off using a UV light to make his
nail polish harder I think was the logic. Full off surprises is
our JM. Speaking off the light JM used in his thread my daughter
has been dropping subtle hints about something like this for her
nail polish. lf I was to get her something what would you
suggest. She has just turned 16 and if I may give a free plug
       this is her website.

I havent got a clue where to start here and if AA batteries
could be used this would be a bonus. If not so be it. I need all
the help I can get to stay in her good books as I'm the bad old
over bearing dad in her eye's. Its so sad when someone loves
       you. :D

I have no clue about what kind of UV light to get her for her
nails. I only know that when my sweetie goes to the salon to
get a manicure or pedicure they have metal boxes that look like
small toaster ovens, without front doors on them, that have UV
lights inside them to speed the curing process of the nails.
That's where I got my idea to use the UV flashlight to help cure
the nail polish in that mod. Not sure it helped but it made me
feel like I was getting something accomplished. :)

Love that your daughter is exercising her entrepreneurial spirit
at such a young age. I wish her all the success she deserves.

Can you show me the link to JohnnyMacs nails? I'd like a look as
well. She does have a battery powered light like your saying off
which the better half has her nails in at the moment. I just
asked the question if it worked. The answer was that in normal
daily usage nail polish lasts two to three days. With the light
they can last up to a couple off weeks. You may all be able to
save a little money by UV'ing your wifes nails for them. Heres a
couple off shots off this toy like looking machine at work.

Looks like I will have to spend a little time on google.

I don't think it will make all that much difference when used in
an application like I did with the Rook. Eventually it will
wear down or just scrape off the contact surface it's painted
onto. Once it wears off I'm going to repaint the areas in the
Rook with actual epoxy. That should hold up extremely well and
a 100 times better than nail polish.

Apparently there is a gel top coat specifically made that she
puts over the normal nail polish that reacts with the UV light
to give it the hard finish.

I'd assume the same curing chemical in nail polish is in Norland
       Optical Adhesive too...?...?...?

I have no idea MOD BOT. What ever it is like most things women
put on them it probably is not healthy.
