machined at the rear, the light will still tailstand with a

style="font-family: 'comic sans ms', cursive;">One thing worth
mentioning and shown in the images below is the rather shallow

grip so replacing cells with gloves might be
       awkward.</span></p>&#13;<p style="margin-top: 0.5em;

       <strong><span style="color: #008000;">R43S 4x XM-L
       T6</span></strong> with a <strong><span style="color:
       #008000;">Thrunite TN30 3x XM-L

       style="font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif; font-size:
medium; color: #000000;">Perhaps it's an unfair test considering
the TN30 is driven much harder, but you'll be surprised how well
       this R43S does.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: 'comic
       sans ms', sans-serif; font-size: medium; color: #000000;">The
extra emitter really does help this light perform exceptionally
       well.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: 'comic sans ms',
       sans-serif; font-size: medium; color: #000000;"> After playing
around with this light, I can now honestly and fully understand

taken exactly 1 meter from a whitewall. The aim here is to

       intensity.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: 'comic sans

Haha yeah. But to be honest it's quite incredible how well it
performs considering the drive. Thanks mate
ps.. sorry about the lined paper look, I had a tough time
bringing this one over due to all the nested code in there. I'll
have to write a new post from scratch for my next review I think
rather than modifying on old template :D

no problem, if yoy ever fancy it modding I'd be happy to give
it a go, the construction is similar to my fit 40s and I think
drilled and tapped sinkpad mounts with xm-l2's is an easy mod
and would cut heat sag to a minimum plus boosting output, not
that a lack of mods is sending me stir crazy or anything :o

Fantastic review Spasmod. Very comprehensive. Like you said in
the review, its not very hard driven but not all lights need
driving to the point off needing a nuclear power station to run
       it. Nice light and thanks.

       Very nice review.
That pic of the Jacob's bezel nestled inside the 4 x T6 light
looks slightly dirty, for some reason... ;)

Nice review, Spas! Kind of reminded me of someone else's review
style. I like it. ;). The only change I'd make is the font. Kind
of hard to read on some smaller screens.
I always had an interest in that light. Good to see its a nice
       one.

Thanks for all the kind words guys.
Beamshots now added. (what a difference it makes after creating
a new post from scratch rather than reformatting old ones :D )
It came across perfectly this time.
Overall though, fantastic light. I was blown away with it
especially after checking the tailcap current.
Stranger things have happened I guess but this is one of them
lol. I guess it must be that extra LED and the top notch
       reflector quality.
It's never going to be a thrower though but for a ton of light
       for general use it's awesome.
@Graham, I might take you up on that ;)
ps.. yeah thanks for the Johnny. Fonts are definitely not my
strong point. I'll keep that in mind for my next review. What
       would you recommend ?
