Hi Gun. For what its worth if you only own a $10.00 Kmart torch
and your on a limited budget this is what I would recommend.

/>
in 3 mode with the XM-L U3 led along with this holster if you
need one

/>The holster is pretty good quality with room for a spare
battery.
For a charger this will get you started for not a lot off money.
I've used lots off these without any issues. The only problem is
that you will have to bend the prongs with a pair off pliers on
the plug slightly to fit our power point or use an adaptor.

And finally for batteries these are high quality at not much
more than a budget cost.

Good luck on your search and feel free to ask questions. Cheers.

Haha gords, I think I de-coded your message there ;). What do
you guys think is better, the XinTD C8 or the Convoy M1?
Thanks MRsDNF, that's where I was going to buy it from. The
"budget" holster that you linked seems to have a space for a
battery whereas the "high-end" holster doesn't; I think I'll go
with the one you linked. Is that actually a good charger? If so
I've already got an adapter so I can use that.

Thanks Spasmod. The charger linked is the one I sell with
flashlights to other people. In the six or seven I have used
they have all chargerged between 4.2 and 4.22 volts. It is not
the fastest charger out there but does the job fine. I also use
it to charge 14500 batteries which the higher output current
batteries you should not. It is also used on 26650 batteries
without problem. There is also a similar charger at Fasttech but
I have not used it. I do have three on order to test though. I'm
not a fan off chargers that charge more than one chemistry off
battery as there is generally a compromise somewhere. Do not buy
cheap that is not recommended and stick with quality products.
There is just about imitation off everything made everywhere now
which is usually cheaper for a reason. For eg the King, there
are a heap off different versions, batteries, even cheap
batteries have imitations as well as chargers.

Looks like I'm going to go with that light and that charger. Can
I also buy the batteries at intl-outdoor.com as well, or do I
have to get them from Fasttech? I can't wait ;D
Thanks imcoolman ;)

Welcome to our group, Sean! Sorry I'm late to the game today.
The ZY-T08 is a fine light but is more throwy than floody and it
takes two cells. I know you are looking for more flood than
throw and I think the Convoy m1 would be the perfect light. A
little smaller than a C8 but just as bright. It has enough throw
for over 200m and great flood. It'll fit in a pocket easier than
a C8 as well and is cheaper than a XinTD C8 while having the
same driver and tons of emitter tint options from FastTech.

Just as I was about to buy the ZY-T08, literally! I guess now
I've got a decision to make :D I assume ths is the light you're
talking about, right? I just want to make sure I'm looking at
the right one:

Also, how do I change the emitter tint options for this light on
Fasttech? I see there are lots of options under where it says
"Buy", which one should I choose?

Click on the drop down box and then click on which light you
want. It will take you to the page with that light on it. Isn't
buying lights a fun pastime. ;)
