This forum is set up as a place for the Biking Community to get
together and discuss matters on a wider scale. This enables
people to share ideas between areas, to share Intel of who may
be working cross-border and so on. You have the main rules you
all agreed to, so just a quick word on some general etiquette.
As it is a forum, it will attract all types of people from all
types of backgrounds. Any bullying or attacks on people will
not be tolerated and you will end up in the Sin Bin, and
eventually a Ban.
As regards to words - the written word can often be taken
different ways, and sometimes what one person says can be taken
in the wrong way. If there are issues, just verify with each
other first. There are things in place if issues arise that
cannot be resolved, but common sense is the best tool.
Talking of tools, there is a spell check, but not everyone uses
it or is forum savvy. So this is the policy....As long as we can
understand what the person is saying and to trying to get
across, that is good enough for us. We won't tolerate aggressive
pedanticism, so please be tolerant. If a post is deemed too
confusing to read or deciphyr then an Admin will ask the poster
to look at the post.
You can report posts to admin and we will look at them, if you
feel they are in some way offensive, illicit sales or spam.
If you are a business, please declare so - you are not prevented
in any way from being part of the forum but you must declare you
are a trader.
We don't tolerate or promote an form of vigilantism or as it is
destructive to the cause and the relations groups have with the
Police and Government Bodies that no other group as obtained.
We WILL and DO hold them to account. If you have an issue you
feel is not properly being addressed, then please do tell us and
we will solve it with you in a positive and productive way. Any
posts promoting any destructive rhetoric will be removed, and
any continual promotion will result in the member being banned.
This group has succeeded through being Productive, not
Destructive.
